Falling Under

Chapter 10

It was 2 nights later that Spike started to move all his things into Casa de Summers. Not that he had much but the things he had he kept close to his heart.

Buffy and Dawn had a made a comfortable space in the basement for his boxes of memorabilia. They had even bought plastic containers to store it to keep it extra safe.

Willow had moved out of the master bedroom and into Tara's dorm room. It was the more logical solution as they would need room for a crib and all the baby stuff. Willow and Tara had more then made up and were ready for their relationship to begin again.

The more changes that were made the happier Buffy was becoming. She was soo in love with Spike that it scared her. But at the same time it was exhilarating to have him know how she felt.

They were living together and they were going to have a baby. It all felt like the normal life Buffy always wanted with just a side of her slayer life. Spike was by far an unconventional dad but she knew he would always be there for her and their child.

Love would get them through anything this she was sure of. She smiled as Spike walked by her and touched her arm. She was making their bed.

Their bed, she thought again.

Spike was on the other side of the room smiling at her thought. He was feeling the same way she was. But he was scared to. Not for them but for their child. The demons didn't know much. Just that something big was about to happen. He hoped Giles would have more information when he arrived in a couple of days.

It was hard not knowing what was going to happen or how he could protect his kin. Dawn, Buffy and their child meant the world to him.
What would be the next step? Spike wanted it all. He wanted the big house with the white picket fence. He wanted marriage and children. He the big bad wanted a normal human life. What was really amazing is that he had always wanted this with Buffy. No other. Just Buffy. Drusilla was right Buffy was floating all around him. What he didn't know what he was always floating around Buffy.

"I was thinking James," Buffy said cutting into his thoughts.

"Hmm...what?"

"James if we have a boy," she repeated.

"What is our son a bleedin butler?"

"Well I like it. Its nice. Besides what did you want? Fang? Thor?"

"I was thinking Michael or Patrick," he said walking around the bed to her.

"We could do Michael James or Patrick James," she said wrapping his arms around her waist.

"What if its a girl?" he breathed his mouth close to hers.

"Isabella." she whispered her mouth finally capturing his.

"hmm I like that," he said against her lips.

"I kinda figured you would since you have been whispering it in my ear for days now."

Spike chuckled and pulled her closer.

"Oh did you?" he said kissing her.

A soft choking noise was heard interrupting their kiss.

"Yes Dawn?" Buffy said a little irritated.

"Sorry guys I was just wondering what are we gonna eat tonight. My tummy is all sorts of rumbly right now," Dawn said sheepishly.

"Why don't we order out?" Spike suggested.

"Pizza," the girls said in unison.

"Pizza is it then," Spike said laughing as he left the room to place the order.

Dawn came in and sat on the bed.

"It looks different in here now," she said tracing patterns on the bedspread.

"I know," Buffy replied sitting down next to her.

"She would be happy you know. She always liked Spike."

Buffy turned and faced her sister.

"I know," she said tears in her eyes.

"Don't worry. Everything will work out." Dawn patted her hand.  Buffy opened her mouth to say something.

"Let me guess you know?"

Downstairs Spike could hear the sisters laughing and he smiled at them. He felt their love radiating in the house. Never had he been so happy. Still smiling he dialed the number for the pizza place.

*~*

Xander was walking through the cemetary doing his night of patrol. He had a walkie talkie deal and Anya and Willow on the other side of the cemetary if he got in trouble.

In all words Xander was fuming. It angered him beyond the realm of words. Buffy not only is living with Spike but is now in love with him and they are having a child? Doesn't anyone else see the major wrongness in all of that?

"Am I the only sane one?" he muttered aloud.

"Not in my book," a deep voice said from behind Xander.

Xander jumped and spun around stake firmly in his grasp.

"Look dude I have a stake and Im not afraid to use it," Xander said.

"Is that right?" The dark demon said his horns flashing in the moonlight.

"Deadly right," Xander replied.

"Interesting that you feel that way," the demon said coming out of the shadows and standing directly in front of Xander.

A sharp retort came to Xander's mouth as the demon waved his hand and Xander shut his mouth.

"Just listen for minute boy. I have some interesting things to discuss with you."

Xander just looked at him still gripping the stake.

"You have been wandering around for days with an anger unsurpassed by those in the darkest of the demon realm. What if I told you I could help you with your anger?"

Xander seemed to consider that for a moment.

"Who are you?"

The demon clasped in hands in front of himself.

"I'm just a demon who wants the same things you want. The slayer's vampire in dust."

"I'm listening."
