~Part: 71~

"Will?" Faith said as she came upon the sleeping form of her friend. "Oh god Willow," she cried and moved to turn the girl over.

The slight redhead was covered in sticky sweat and her clothing clung to her too light frame. The redhead hadn't been eating properly since she found out that she would be the major part of doing away with the mayor, her apatite just hadn't been there. Moaning slightly as she heard her name being called, her eyes fluttered open and she sat up slowly with help from Faith.

"Willow? Willow are you ok?" Faith asked worriedly.

"I'm fine.Just got a little tired is all," Willow said dismissively as she stood slowly and put her hand on the boxing bag for balance.

"A little tired? Will you were passed out." Faith's voice was heavy with concern and disbelief. How could Willow act as if whatever had happened were nothing. It had taken Faith a good fifteen minutes to wake the girl. She watched as Willow walked slowly out of the gym. "Will?"

"I'm fine Faith," Willow said as she stopped at the door. "I'm gonna take a shower. "Faith don't - don't tell anyone. No one needs the added stress. I'm fine. Ok?" she asked turning so that the other girl could see the fierce determination in her emerald eyes.

"I won't tell anyone," she said after a long moment. "But if it happens again I will."

"It won't," Willow said and walked out, disappearing down the hall.

~Part: 72~

Willow walked quietly into the room she shared with her mates and her them laughing and talking in the shower. Her face showed no emotion as she gathered together a change of clothing and a small bag she kept of travel shower cleansers and conditioners. Turning, she left the room just as quietly as she had entered; leaving no trace that she had been there.

No one saw as Willow walked down the hall and into one of the empty guest chambers and into the unused bathroom. Setting her garments on the counter top she placed the small bag with her shower things on the side of the tub and turned on the hot water tap and then pulled the lever up for the shower. Taking her hair down out of the pony tail it was in, she shed her clothing. Emotionless eyes took in the form reflected in the mirror.

She looked dispassionately over her body in the mirror, noting that her ribs were beginning to show, but that was the only clue to her lost apatite. Nothing else was wrong or showed and it would be easy to pass off the showing of her ribs. She had been thin enough before all of this, it wouldn't matter now. Shaking off her errant thoughts, she stepped beneath the hot punishing spray. The water pressure in this place was hard and consistent, but it sure felt good.

Silent tears began to mix with the water and her body trembled beneath the steaming water as an inner chill that had become all too familiar once again over took her. It seemed that no matter what she did these days she could no longer get warm. The cold seemed to permeate her very being until even walking outside in 80 degree weather in full out sweats could not even bring her to comfortable warmth. She was cold all the time now. And she seemed to drift between periods of feeling nothing at all, of being emotionally dead, to periods were she had to leave because the sadness was simply overwhelming. She would never tell anyone of this though. They all counted on her too much. If she showed weakness of any kind.she just couldn't.

~Part: 73~

Spike and Angel clamored out of the shower laughing and kissing as they dried each other off with large dark towels. Sometimes those towels didn't so much as dry as they did arouse and soon a third session of love making began against the bathroom wall and led the pair growling and purring back to the bed.

"God Spike," Angel hissed as the blonde vampire bit and kissed Angel's neck. Angel wasn't sure which was driving him more insane, Spike's all too tame kisses and nips or the blonde's hand that was playing between his thighs but never once touching what so badly needed to be touched.

Spike smirked against Angel's neck and he stroked his hand, grazing his nails up and down the dark vampire's inner thigh. Oh he'd come just barely in contact with the base of the straining weeping member and then he'd drag his nails hard enough to get attention but not hard enough to break the skin, down Angel's thigh. The dark vampire groaned and growled as the blonde teased him relentlessly.

"Damnit Spike!" he growled and tossed the blonde on the bed, pouncing on him and straddling the blonde's back. Leaning close to Spike's right ear he whispered, "Now I'm gonna have my fun with you boy." Lifting Spike's arms up to the head of the bed, he curved the blonde's hands over the head of the mattress. "Don't move your hands unless I say so." Spike nodded his acceptance.

Angel waited a few moments to see if Spike would challenge his authority, when he didn't Angel began his torment. He began by licking lightly the outline of Spike's ear. Slowly dragging his tongue he made a path down to the blonde's neck and began making small bites upon the skin, a few times letting his elongated fangs nip through the skin and draw out small amounts of blood.

Spike tried not to moan at the touches and bites; he knew not to make a sound until it was permitted for him to do so. He could barely contain his urge to roll over and join the fun as Angel's hands mapped out his back. They traced the outline of every bone; every muscle with a slowness that only a true artist, a sculptor had the patience for. His muscles twitched at the too light too pleasurable touches. It was as though Angel were remaking him with feather tipped brushes and as his tongue followed it traced the path the fingers made with velvety assurance. Spike couldn't remember anything ever feeling so good, not since the days with Angelus when they were lovers.

Twenty minutes of torment later, four fanged love bites littered the blonde's buttocks and his raging member was weeping into the silken sheets. The blonde started slightly when he felt his cheeks being spread apart and a cool tongue tracing over the revealed depths. Angel's tongue pushed past the tight ring of muscle and Spike's fangs bit into the mattress beneath him as he tried to stifle his cry of pleasure, ripping and tearing the mattress in his teeth. Angel heard the sound of the tearing of the mattress and chuckled, the vibrations adding to the blonde's torment.

Angel held out and tormented the blonde as long as he could stand it, but even his libido from his rediscovered relationship with his child had limits and soon he was thrusting deeply and hurriedly into Spike both of them coming with roars of passion that boomed off the bedroom walls.

Both vampires fell spent atop the mattress and slept like the dead, so neither one noticed when Willow returned to the room.

~Part: 74~

Willow opened the door in time to see Angel thrusting into Spike who lay beneath them and hear their roars of pleasure before both collapsed tiredly to the bed and were soon asleep. She waited a moment before steeping further into the room and setting her dirty clothes in the hamper and her bag back upon her dresser.

She looked upon her mates as they lay together and turned away. Yes they were her mates, hers to love and hers to look upon, but she felt like an intruder upon this private moment of theirs. Walking out of the room, she shut the door quietly and walked down the stairs and out of the mansion. A good walk would clear her head.

~Part: 75~

Willow had been walking for hours, the sun long since having set and still she didn't feel any better than she had when she left. Nothing felt real anymore, the entire world felt as though it were slipping away from her. All she felt anymore was emptiness or sadness. She knew that it wasn't right, something was definitely wrong, but everyone was counting on her to pull this off. She couldn't and damn well wouldn't let them down.

As she made her way through the park on her way back to the mansion, she stopped and listened as she heard a rustling near the trees. Just as she was about to turn away and run, she saw Spike step out through the darkness. Sighing with relief she looked at him and shook her head at her own jumpiness.

"Spike," she said and forced a soft laugh, "what are you doing out here?"

"Could ask you the same question luv." The blonde vampire stepped closer to her and his brow furrowed. He tuned out the noises around him and listened more intently to the heart of the girl in front of him. It was continuously slowing and then quickening, as if it couldn't decide the pace it wished to beat at. He kept listening as he walked closer and noticed her heart skip a beat and then another, it's beats grew slower and then sped up, slowed again and then seemed to begin to steady out.

"You feelin' alright luv?" he asked as he came close enough to wrap her up in his arms and hug her tightly for a moment.

"I'm fine," she said tersely. Looking into his face and seeing the brief flash of hurt that crossed his pale face and sighed sadly. Touching his arm she began to speak. "I'm sorry Spike. It's just that it seems like everyone is over concerned for my health lately. I'm fine," she said looking into his bright blue eyes.

"You don't sound fine," he said as he looked into her eyes.

"I'm ok. Maybe a little tired but that's it."

"Then we'd best get you to bed then hmm?" he said and took her hand and began to lead her home.

"Spike. Spike stop," she said pulling her hand from his. "I'm fine," she said and could feel her heart speeding up again as her breath seemed to come quicker. "And we don't have time to rest or take it - slow," she breathed in and closed her eyes trying to calm the raging vertigo that was overwhelming her senses. Damn how long had it been since she'd last had anything to eat or drink? She couldn't quite remember at the moment. "The mayor and the ascension. We need all the information we can get and there isn't time to take it slow, the time is coming up quicker then we'd expect," she began stumbling over her words as the vertigo increased.

Willow felt arms around her, steadying her and then lifting her easily against a strong chest. Damnit, her eyes were open but it was hard to see anything, everything was all blurred. She felt Spike carrying her and somewhere along the way must have closed her eyes, because the next thing she knew she was being gently laid out upon their bed.

"Wha?" she mumbled incoherently.

"Shh," he hushed her. "Just sleep."

Spike waited until Willow was completely asleep and then undressed her and redressed her in one of his shirts. He had growled softly when he had seen how thin she had become. He knew she had lost weight from the moment he had lifted her into his arms at the park, but seeing evidence of her weight loss was almost too much. Something was wrong with his mate and he'd be damned if he didn't find a way to fix it.

Leaving the room he went down into the kitchen where everyone was gathered.

"She's back," he said as he took the mug offered to him by Dru. "She's asleep and something isn't right."

"Spike?" Angel asked concerned.

"She got all dizzy and nearly passed out in the park. She's lost weight and her heart didn't sound right. Something is wrong with her.I want her to be left alone, left to sleep as long as she will. What?" he said looking at Faith and seeing a guilty look pass over her face.

"I found her earlier today.in the gym. She was passed out by the boxing bag."

"Why the bloody hell didn't you tell anyone?!"

"Because she asked me not to! I told her that I would though if it happened again."

"Just be glad it isn't too late," he growled.

"Spike!" Angel growled at the blonde. "It isn't her fault. Don't blame her."

"I know it isn't your fault," he said to Faith.

"I know you're worried, we all are," Faith said. "But she kept saying that she was fine. She asked me not to say anything and didn't want her to think that she couldn't trust me."

Dru looked around the room and then turned and spoke quietly to Giles who sat next to her.

"Not even five minutes and the delicate hold is breaking. Had she been here she'd be playing peace keeper and getting Spike to apologize."

Giles nodded sadly as he began to realize it was true. Willow was the glue, and without her, even though she was only sleeping and maybe a little sick, the delicate hold was breaking. But they'd have to make it through this, for her. They'd all been leaning on Willow and now she needed to lean on them and damnit to hell they'd all be there.

Screams and cries of please for things to be stopped were heard coming from the basement.

"Ahh, the years the torment began," Dru purred in delight. Seeing the look on Giles's face as well as Angel and Spike's she said, "I'll tell you all later."
