Angel started coming to and heard a chat going on behind him. Shaking
his
head, he heard pacing by him and when it got close to his ear,
he shot out
his arms and grabbed the person's ankle. As he went to pull, the
person
yanked their ankle back and Angel lost his grip on them.
"Not smart." He heard Darla rasp and felt her shoed foot hit him
in the ribs.
Angel gasped and collapsed on the ground, gasping for air he really
didn't
need as he felt the pain of the hit. "You know, I never thanked
you for
staking me." She went to kick him again and as her foot made contact,
Angel
took hold of it and rolled enough so she lost her balance. Falling
to the
ground, Darla landed on her back and Angel moved quickly pin her
down under
him.
"No thanks needed. It was a repayment for when you kicked me out
of the
house." Just as soon as he'd been on top, he was on the bottom
as Darla
flipped them.
"Well, I was delusional. In a rage that those Gypsies had given
you that
filthy soul. It made you dirty."
"No, Darla. It made me clean. And you hated that, knowing I would
never do
the things you did. Knowing that every time you tried to turn me
it wouldn't
work when I felt guilt." He stared her in the eyes. "Knowing I'd
never again
be dirty."
"You will be." She rasped. "Soon as this is finished you will be."
Angel's
eyes enlarged as he felt the first wave of pain sweep over him.
"That's right
baby. Mommy's gonna make it all better."
In a fit of strength in trying to fight the pain, Angel pushed Darla
off him
and turned on so he was on his knees. He looked up to see Lindsey
standing
beside a young woman, who was chanting something in Romanian and
moving a
smoking herbal bundle around over a round crystal.
"What are you doing?" He asked Darla, turning to her and grabbing
his abdomen
as a shot of pain swept him.
"I'm making you feel better Angelus. Soon you'll feel a lot better."
Angel
gritted his teeth.
"Darla, you're making a terrible mistake."
"No. No, I made a terrible mistake when I gave you that little gypsy
girl. I
know that it was my fault now. I'm sorry my childe ever had to
suffer the
wrath of any curse."
"Darla," he about choked on the words as he fought the pain and
tried to keep
his soul present. "Angelus isn't what he was."
"Oh silly boy. You say such things to keep that mangy soul. You'll
feel
better soon."
"Darla, listen!" he cried in agony. The young woman looked at Lindsey
with a
sad expression.
"Within these walls; once been given, now be taken. Guilt shale
not fall on
he who suffer so much. His price has been paid. as it were said,
so shall it
be." Lindsey recited as the young girl dropped the herbs and threw
back
her
head, arching her back as the power ran through her. Angel cried
out in pain
and did the same for a couple seconds, till the glowing in the
orb stopped
and all became still.
"Angelus?" Darla, knelt to look at him as he breathed heavy and
started to
move. Turning quickly, Darla didn't see it coming as Angelus moved
forward
and swamped her, moving her to hit against the wall and pinned
there. He
smiled a pointed toothy grin and looked into his sires eyes.
"Mommy," he breathed, claiming her in a hard, brutal kiss.

Willow moved around the room and sighed, plopping down on the bed.
She hadn't
been able to sleep, knowing they could see her and she was helpless,
stuck in
this room. She at once point tried to pry the elevator doors opened
but found
it excruciatingly hard after it opened 2 inches of a crack and
saw inside
that steel bars were holding it shut. Letting go, she sat and figured
out
what the security mechanism did.
Travers had used a key to go up and had to press a button. Turning
the key
starts to unlock where they would pull from. Pressing the bottom
released the
steel bars so that the door could be opened. The elevator door
had held them
open and when the doors had been closed (considering they never
had closed as
the four where in with her) it relocked the bars.
She'd moved and looked at everything. Finding water as the only
source in the
fridge besides ice and loads of books on demons and slayers. She
wasn't
surprised to find the Slayer's Handbook and figured to look through
it later
to know what stuff they wanted to see so she could get out of there.
After
that she looked at the padded storage bin and found fighting padding
inside.
But what she found interesting was that not only was almost everything
padded, it wasn't it was securely bolted to the ground. Obviously
they had
seen an aggressive slayer coming.
Time passed and Willow wasn't sure what day or time it was. Finally
she heard
the elevator moving and sat up quickly to see what was happening.
The doors
came open and Quentin stepped out of the elevator. Willow stood
and looked
over his shoulder.
"Gonna close that? I might escapee you know."
"The security Wolfram and Heart put into this place guarantied you
won't be
going anywhere without me."
"Wolfram and Heart huh? Why aren't I surprised you're working with them?"
"We couldn't get you out of the country so they're letting us use
a receded
area that will guaranty no intrusions."
"So when are they going to kill me?"
"On the contrary, Miss Rosenberg. There's not intentions to kill. Just teach."
"A. Stop calling me that. B. Teach what?"
"Everything a slayer is to know. Now, breakfast is going to be brought
to you
in a few minutes and I suggest you don't try anything with physical
force. It
might end you're meal privileges. I'll be back later for training."
Turning,
Travers left Willow once again alone. She realized then, this was
gonna be
tuffer than thought.
