"Come on Xand." Buffy said as she walked up the stairs in Willow's house.

"I'm going as fast as I can okay."

"Okay but if we don't hurry we're going to be late. Lets just get Willow and go...." Buffy said trailing off as she came to the top of the stairs.

"Buff, what's the matter? What's-"

"Sush, listen!" Buffy said as they slowly approached Willow's room and plastered themselves against the door.

"Angel," Willow panted. "It's not working okay, you can't get it up. Just try the way I said."

"Willow if it's not working this way what makes you think it'll work your way?"

"Because Angel, I've done it this way before."

"What...when?"

"Well, I was with Oz and we were-"

"Ugh, forget it. I don't wanna know."

"Fine, have it your way, but the way we're going we're never going to do it."

"Look Willow, I have an idea. Come here and-"

"Oh no, I'm not going anywhere near you now. Your all sweaty ad-"

"Oh, and have you looked in the mirror?"

"Angel..."

"Look Willow, just get down on the floor and-"

Just at that moment the door gave way and two bodies came flying into the room.

At hearing Angel cough, Buffy and Xander untangled themselves and slowly opened their eyes and turned to face Willow and Angel.

"Um...hi guy. We just...dropped by to see if you wanted to go out Willow." Buffy said as she and Xander pulled themselves off the floor.

"oh..."

""Um guys, sorry to ask but what the hell was going on in here?" Xander asked.

"What does it look like we're doing." Angel said.

"Um, well...not what it sounded like that's for sure."

"Sounded like...oh!" Willow said as realization dawned on her. Turning an interesting shade of red Willow suddenly found a very interesting spot on the floor.

"And you we're kinda out of breath, I mean it did sound like-"

"Xander!" Buffy shouted, stopping him.

"Well, you try and do this and not get tired." Angel defended.

"Of course, if Angel had done what I said..." Willow couldn't help but add.

"What you said?"

"Well, all is pointed out was that when you're trying to build a shelving unit together that it might be better to read the instructions."

"You know, she has a point." Buffy said.

"No!" Xander cried. "You can't read the instructions. It's against the code!"

"The code?" both girls asked.

"Yeah, the guy code. The one that says you can never read the instructions."

"Yeah, but if your stuck-"

"No!" Angel said. "You *never* break the code."

"Ugh, come on Willow. Why don't we leave these *men* to their code while we go to the bronze."

"Sounds good to me Buffy. Let's go."

"Bye guys."

"But-"

"Willow...honey..."

"No buts guys. I expect my shelves to be built when I get back."

And with that the two girls left.

"You know," Xander said turning to Angel, "this is entirely all your fault."

"My fault? I was doing fine till you two barged in."

"Hey, you weren't meant to be here!" Xander said.

"Look, the women are gone. Now there is only one thing to do in a time like this..."

"Read the instructions..."

"Uh huh," Angel said, removing them from his back pocket and laying them out on the floor.
