Summery: Ten years ago Buffy left Sunnydale, now she's back. But will things ever be the same?
Authors Notes: Just so you know I didn't forget, I just decided to keep Buffy's name like it is.

2009 -Somewhere outside of Sunnydale.
As Buffy Summer's car approached Sunnydale, Buffy couldn't help but start to think about how her friend's would react to her return.
All though she had talked on the phone with everyone before hand and over time sorted their problems out, she was sure everything would not be all smiles and roses between them.
After all, to say things were strained between herself and them when she left was an understatement.

"I...I can't believe you!" Buffy screamed.
"Buf-"
"No! How could you? How could you do this to me?"
"Buffy we never meant to hurt you." Angel said.
"Yeah, well you did okay!"
"Buffy...."
"No, why should I listen to you huh? After what you did." Buffy said, trying to control her anger.
"Buffy please...." Willow said.
"Don't you dare start on me too Willow. You're the one who betrayed me!"
"Leave her alone Buffy!" Angel yelled, moving to wrap his arms around Willow.
"But Ang-"
"No. I won't let you talk to her like that!"
"But she stole you from me Angel." Buffy said.
"Steal? She didn't steal me, we'd broken up, and you were going out with that Chris guy. What is it? One rule for you and another for me?" Angel replied.
"I...I..."
"Look, I'll always care for you, but I love Willow."
"But-" Buffy protested.
"Come on Buffy, lets go." A voice said from behind her.
Turing around Buffy was shocked to find Xander standing there.
"Xander?"
"Let's go Buffy. I think everything's been said."
Seeing that Buffy was about to protest Xander walked over to Willow and Angel, and told them that he wanted that he wanted a word alone with Buffy. Walking over to her, took her hand and after lead her out of the room.
After he had lead her to a nearby classroom and closed the door behind him, Buffy turned to face him, fire and anger in her eyes.
"You knew didn't you? You knew the whole time and never said anything. Instead I had to find out by walking into Giles office and find them kissing!"
"They were going to tell you Buffy, but then you broke up with Chris and there never seemed like a right time after that."
"But I still love him." She said.
"I know, but you have to let him go."
"No." Buffy said.
"Buffy, you can't carry on like this, it's not good for you." Xander said.
"You know," Buffy said as she walked towards the door, "I expected more of you."
"I could say the same of you." Xander replied.
"Whatever." Was all Buffy said before opening the door and walking out.
Sometime Later...
"Well, that could have gone better." Willow said as she walked out of the school with Angel behind her.
"Don't worry about it. She'll come around eventually."
"But I feel so guilty." Willow said.
"Why?" Xander asked. "You didn't do anything wrong."
"But-"
"No Willow. Xander's right. She can't always have everything her way. We'd broken up. She can't just expect me to go running back at her call." Angel said.
"I suppose your right. I just don't want to hurt her."
"I know." Angel said as he took her hand in his, giving it a reassuring squeeze.
"Besides, now she knows how it feel's." Xander said. "I mean the fact that I liked her never stopped her from going out with Angel. I know that sounds mean but it's the truth. Besides, if I can be okay with you two, why can't she?"

Buffy stormed into her house and slammed the front door shut. Stomping up to her room she rifled though her draw until she found what she was looking for. Walking downstairs with piece of paper she sat at the kitchen table and waited for her mother to get home.
Two hours later...
At hearing the front door shut Buffy sat up straight in her chair and waited for her mother to enter the kitchen.
"Hi honey, what are you doing here? Aren't you meant to be at the library?"
Cringing at the mention of the library Buffy stood up and walked over to her mother.
"Mom, you know that college in Los Angeles that I applied too. Well I got accepted and I'm going." Buffy said handing her mother her acceptance letter.
"Oh..."
2009 - Sunnydale.
Getting out of the car Buffy took a deep breath as she prepared herself for seeing her old friends again for the first time in ten years.
"Hey, don't worry about it, everything will be okay." Allister said.
"You think so?" Buffy said as she turned to face her husband.
"Sure, I mean what happened between you guys was a long time ago right."
"Yes. Okay then, here goes." She said taking a deep breath as they walked away from the car and towards Xander's house.
Knocking on the door they waited for a few moments before it opened and Xander appeared.
"Xander...hi." Buffy said nervously, taking in how he had changed over the years.
"Hey...come on in." Xander said.
After the door was shut behind them Xander turned around and smiled, helping to put some of Buffy's nerves at ease.
"Well the Buff, ten years and I don't even get a hug?"
Laughing slightly, Buffy walked over and hugged him, before the introductions were made.
As they walked into the living room though, Buffy stopped dead in her tracks.
"Um...hi guys."
"Hey Buffy." Willow said apprehensively, her hands tightening on Angel's own, which were wrapped around her waist.
"Buffy." Angel said.
After a few moments of uncomfortable quiet Cordelia broke the silence.
"Well, um aren't you going to introduce us?"
"What...oh!" Buffy said, snapping out of her daze. "This is my husband Allister..."
"...And this..." Buffy said indicating the child peaking shyly from behind her "is our daughter Heather."
"Welcome back Buffy." Willow said. " We missed you...I missed you."
"I missed you all too. I should of done this a long time ago.
