~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Slowly, Buffy picked up the pieces, after realizing that her Angel was gone, and that the demon killed Jenny. Giles, in fact, handled it better. With her death, Xander's hatred for her murderer grew. Willow became more weary after mourning her favorite teacher's death. Something inside her had changed, and she became much more shy than she had ever been before. Sh hardly went out at night.

Angelus enjoyed watching them all adjust. He got a thrill from watching Buffy search for him, so she cou lvent her anger out on him, but he had gotten bored with the game, and he left town. Vanished. Disappeared. No one knew where he went, thus angering Buffy further, but no one was really complaining because he seemed to be gone from their lives.

Time passed, and the Slayerettes relaxed into nightlife agian; they graduated. Even Buffy changed her marks around, motivated by Giles. Her mother wanted her to go away to school, but she decided to go to the local campus---the one with the spooky frat brothers---so she could continue to slay over the Hellmouth, which her mother still knows nothing about. Xander was going to UCLA, and his ex-girlfriend was going to one of the ivy-league schools, no one knew which one. Willow, who had also split from her high school sweetheart, was going to Harvard, to study sciences and languages. Everyone seemed happy.

Things finally seemed to be looking up for the Slayerettes.

Spike: You're not friends. You'll never be friends. You'll be in love till it kills you both. You'll fight, and you'll shag, and you'll hate each

other until it makes you quiver, but you'll never be friends. Love isn't brains, children, it's blood -- blood screaming inside you to work its will. I may be love's bitch, but at least I'm man enough to admit it.

End Prologue

"I'll promise to write," Willow hugged Buffy, "No matter how much homework I have."

The Slayer smiled at her friend, handing her a box, nicely wrapped in pretty floral paper, "I put this together for you. Don't open it until yuo're alone."

<<She shouldn't have...>> "I didn't get anything for you---"

She cut her off, motioning to the car, with her mother in the front seat, "You better go. Don't want to keep Harvard waiting for you."

Willow laughed, and hugged her once more, "I'm going to miss you," She hugged Giles, "You, too. I don't know---"

Giles cut her off, not used to displaying such affection, "I most definately will miss you, not in the library, and all," He then smiled, stiffening up, "I hope you do well."

"I'm hoping," She smiled awkwardly, and then moved on to Xander, "I'll call," She smothered him with a hug, "I'll miss you."

"Me, too, Will'."

She got in the car, slowly, and after a chorus of good-byes, followed by mad, frantic waving, she was gone, on her way to a new life.

"Are you sure you'll be alright?" Her mother asked for the billionth time, a few days later, once they had arrived, and unpacked everything in her private room, "What if---"

Willow stopped her mother, "Mom, I'll be fine. Don't worry." <<Geez, after all the things I've faced, I can handle this.>>

"Okay," She stopped pacing, checking things over, "I'll call yuo when I get home?" Willow nodded, "I guess this is it."

"'Bye, Mom," She hugged her mother, "I'll keep in touch."

After her mother had disappeared, she flopped onto her bed, and stared at the ceiling. Quickly, a thought returned to her. <<The present!>> As curious as a child on Christmas morning, she bounced off the bed, and quickly retrived the parcel from her backpack. <<I wonder what it is.>>

She found a note on top, and read it aloud to comfort herself, "'Will, I"m going to miss you a lot. Really. Who else will help me through the tough days? I'm going to miss us not hanging at the Brnoze, but when you come back for break, you know what we have to do at least once....for old times' sake. In this box, you'll find things from my collection---a few handy stakes, a crucifix, a cross on a chain (If yuo don't like it, tell me, I'll have it exchanged), some holy water, and then we have makeup, perfume, and a few magazines. A survival kit. Please be careful. I don't think it'll be like Sunnydale, but, still. If anything ever happened to you, I'd never survive. No one would. Please be safe, and at night, carry something for protection. Don't forget to call, okay? I'll be getting e-mail soon, so maybe expect a note! Anyway, I better go! See you around! Buffy.'"

Willow had tears in her eyes by the time she was finished, even though it wasn't a heartfelt note. <<I'm going to miss them so much.>> She wiped the fallen drops off her pale cheeks, and then emptied the box's contents on her bed. The cross was beautiful. It had little emeralds embedded on it's silver surface, and the chain was at the perfectlength---not like a choker, but not really long, either, and it fell right below the little gully between her collarbones. <<I'm never taking this off.>>

"Can I come in?" A familiar voice carried through on the other side of the door. <<Cordelia?>>

"Yeah, sure," She called back, and the gorgeous brunette walked in, "I didn't know you were going here."

She nodded, "I didn't want Xander to know. It looks like we're on the same floor."

"That's cool," She started to put the slaying things Buffy had given her in a drawer in the night table, while putting makeup on her dresser, with the rest of it, "What are you studying?"

She laughed, "I don't really know. Daddy wants me to be a lawyer. I don't know though," She pointed to the thigns she was stowing away, "Buffy?" The red head nodded, "She gave me those things, too. Not the makeup, but the stakes and things."

"She wanted us to be safe, I guess. No one did find Angel," Willow changed the subject, "I think you'd make a good lawyer."

"Really?" She nodded in confirmation of her beliefs, "Wow. Maybe I'll give it a go, then. What are you taking?"

She shrugged, "Not much. Just some science courses. I'm not sure what I want to do yet."

"You want to go shopping or just hang out?"

<<Why is she asking me this?>> "Feel alone?" Cordelia, despite herself, nodded, "Just let me change?"

"Can I pick out your outift?"

Willow groaned, knowing how bad this could be, "Sure."

Within minutes, Willow was dressed nicely, much to her surprise, in a green skirt, white blouse, and a wool vest to match. The skirt was a little short, but she didn't protest. Make up was applied, but only a little, "College guys like less," Cordy commented, and then exclaimed, "This is going to be so much fun. I never really got to know you."

Willow just nodded, and changed the subject, "Are you sure these heels aren't too high?"

"They're hot. Maybe we'll go to the local Starbucks, or something?"

"That would be great."

Cordelia asked, "When do classes start?"

"Tomorrow, I think," WIllow stood up, and quickly slipped a stake, cross and holy water in her bag, "Are we ready?"

She nodded, and as they walked out, Cordy said, "You shoudln't take those things with you. We won't need them. There are no creatures of the night here, Will'."

"I don't want to have to find out," She countered, "But if I do, I don't want to get into trouble with one."

A dark shadow was watching the girls exit the dorm, and head towards the on-campus coffee shop. He smirked, as he watched Willow, noting how much she had changed. She was dressing differently, but then again, that could've been Cordelia's influence, but he wasn't complaining. The skirt showed off the slender legs she had been hiding from everyone, and the vezt clung to her, showing off a couple of curves no one knew she had.

"Willow," He smirked, "Someday, I'll have you. But, not yet. It's too soon, and the game has yet to start. I bet yuo can't wait."

And then, he disappeared back into the darkness.

The next morning, Willow woke up feeling refreshed and excited. She couldn't wait to get to her first classes, to meet her professors, to meet other people. It was nice to know that Cordy was there, but she did want ot meet new people. Jumping out of bed, she stretched, and looked outside, across the sunny campus with a smile. And then she saw something that changed the mood.

A flower, a red rose, was taped to her window, from the outside. <<What the hell?!>>

She opened the window, and pulled it off, noticing that there was a note wrapped around the stem of the flower. It read one simple word, which sent the message across clear: Soon.

Dismissing panic, she tried to sort it all out. <<Maybe I'm imagining it.>> She shut her eyes, opened them again, but the note and flower were still on her desk. <<Damn it, it looks like it's real.>> She was confused, as she slipped into a pair of baggy, comfy jeans, and a top, and brushed her hair, not a htought of who it cou ldbe flew to her mind.

She washed her face, brushed her teeth quickly, and bolted from her room, clutching the rose, the note, (for some strange reason) and her bag. She didn't want to be late for her first day of class.

She made it there in record time. Sliding into her latin class, unnoticed by the prof, she picked the only empty seat, on the aisle, next to a cute guy. Her heart racing, hoping she wouldn't say anything wrong. <<Breathe in, breathe out.>> Sitting down, she looked up at him, and smiled, "Hi."

"Hey," he extended his hand, "I'm Troy."

She couldn't heolp but respond warmly. His smile and eyes were capitvating, "I'm Willow."

"Nice to meet you."

Spike: You're not friends. You'll never be friends. You'll be in love till it kills you both. You'll fight, and you'll shag, and you'll hate each

End Part 1

"You want to go out for coffee tonight?" Troy asked, as they were leaving the class.

Willow was apprehensive, remembering the rose in her bag. <<But, I could just take a couple stakes, holy water.....>> So, she smiled and said, "Sure. How about we meet at the fountain at eight?"

"Sounds great."

<<Was that a date?>>

<<Does anyone else feel like someone's watching them?>> She cursed to herself, sipping her coffee, and laughing at Troy's jokes. Throughout the night, she coul feel someone watching her, and it disturbed her because she thought that there cou lbe a chance that Angelus had sent the rose and note. <<Didn't he send Buffy notes like that?>>

Troy checked his watch, and groaned, "I have to go."

She looked at him quizzically, "Why?"

"Have to study," She nodded, "I'll see you tomorrow?"

"Latin," She nodded, "I'll be there."

With that, he left, leaving Willow alone. She brushed her fingers across the shimmering surface of the cross that dangled from the chain on her neck, trying to muster strength. Inside, she ordered another latte, and decided to slowly build her courage.

"Would you leave me alone!??!" She screamed, practically at the top of her lungs, as she walked to her dorm alone, nervous, "Don't follow me anymore!"

<<Maybe I'm losing my mind.>> She didn't really know who she was yelling at, but since the night began, she felt a pair of eyes on her, and it disturbed her. She didn't really belive it was Angelus, but then, who else could it be?

Spike: You're not friends. You'll never be friends. You'll be in love till it kills you both. You'll fight, and you'll shag, and you'll hate each

End Part 2

Mid terms were over. Willow was glad. Soon, she'd be going away for Thanksgiving. She asked Troy to come, because he had said he'd like to see where she grew up, but, to her delight, he couldn't. She didn't think he was ready for Sunnydale, yet.

That was an issue---her and Troy. She didn't really like him. She knew that. Cordelia, however, thought that they'd make a cute couple. She sensed that Troy liked the 'Wiley Willow', but the hacker didn't like the idea too much.

She was working on her computer, when Troy rushed in, "What's wrong?"

After catching his breath, he said, "Brendan. Dead. My room."

"How?" She inquired, as she helped his weak form to the bed, where he could cope, "Here." She handed him a Kleenex to wipe the few loose tears away.

He managed a troubled smile, "Thanks," He then started his story, "Last night, I stayed with friends downtown. I came backt his morning, Brendan was there, but shredded up."

Her curiousity was getting the better of her, like it did when she was part of the Sccoby gang, "Could I go in, and look?"

He shook his head, "Ferensics took the body."

She nodded, and stood up, reaching for her bag, "I'll be back, alright?" He nodded, "Stay here as long as you need to."

"Thanks. Where rae you going?" But she was gone already, on her mission.

<<Damn!>> She found what she was indeed looking for---bite marks on the side of his neck. He was mauled, and who ever did it certainly enjoyed the kill. She rushed out of the dark room, going unnoticed by the officers, rushingt o find Cordelia.

When she did find her, she was packing, "Cordelia!"

"What?"

"A vampire. It killed that guy."

she shook her head, denying what had happened, "No. Didn't happen. There are no such things, remember?"

Willow turned to leave, "Sure, in your world."

"Will you be alright?" She aske Troy at the airport. He offered to drop her off.

He nodded, "Yeah. They just think it was a fluke thing. I'm not worried," he shot her a reassuring gglance, "I'll be fine. Thanks for letting me stay in your room."

"No problem," She smiled, as her flight was called, "I guess I better go, huh?"

"Yeah," He laughed, hugging her, "Have fun?"

"I will."

She boarded her plane, excited to be home. Maybe she oculd talk to Buffy, and they cou lfigure out who was lurking. She could ask for help on what to do with Troy. She and Giles coudl talk. They coul all laugh at Cordelia together. Just like old times. <<This is going to be fun. I can't wait.>>

<<This is not happening. No. There's no way they'd do that!>> She silently crept back down the stairs from her room, and sank into one of the armchairs, to absorb what she had seen: Buffy and Xander kissage. It was too much. Her best friend and the guy she pined away over for years. After sobbing dry, painful, emotional sobs, she left a note for her mother, that said in a few words what had happened, and picked up her bag, headed back towards the bus stop. She had to go home.

And she did. The airport didn't mind switching her tickets, so within a few hours, she was back on campus. She was reeling from that experience. It hurt so much, to see them together. And, she wished that Buffy coul've at least e-mailed her or called, even, to tell her how she felt about her best guy friend. It wouldn't have hurt so much, that way.

Breezing through the brick courtyard, where the fountain stands, and for no reason, she screamed, "Stop it!" and then she ran to her room, scared to think of what was lurking in the shadows.

She ran into her room, and turned the lights on, forgetting that Troy was staying there. As he groaned, and rolled over, she appologized, "I'm sorry," She wiped away her tears, "I just---"

"Why are yuo home?"

She confessed the whole Buffy and Xander story to his understanding self. He hugged her, and tried to help her, "YOu just need to do something to get your mind off of them."

"Really?" He nodded, "Like what?"

He leaned lcoser to her, "Like this." He kissed her, pushing her down on the bed.

Fear ripped through her system. She tried to scream but the words were frozen in her throat, but she struggled enough to prevent him from doing anything else. Finally, a breakthrough occured, and, "Help!!!!!" managed to escape her pursed lips.

The door flew open, as if on cue. <<Just like in the movies.>> Troy was ripped off of Willow, and a familiar, yet not so familiar voice growled, "Stay away from her, or I'll kill you, too!"

Troy was gone in a flash. It happened so quickly. The day had gone so badly; Buffy and Xander's make out session, Troy trying to get her to sleep with him, and then, it sunk to and even lower level, when she looked into her protector's eyes, "Angelus."

To him, her eyes were empty, like nothing was there. It scared him, as she tilted her head, and pulled stray strands of red hair off of the creamy, soft skin, "What are you doing?"

"Aren't yuo going to kill me?" He shook his head, and sat on the edge of the bed, "What do you want from me, then?"

"First," He answered, "I want to know what happened to you," She looked down to the ground, "I think you better tell me," She shook her head, but he remained firm, "Willow."

She broke down, like she had with Troy, when he asked the same question, "I came home, and when I went upstiars," Bitter tears ran down her hot cheeks, but Angelus handed her a tissue to wipe them away, "They were going at it, and---"

"He's so stupid," He hissed, "Buffy's a bitch, for hurting you---"

It was her turn to interupt, "No. It was sorto f inevitable. I mean, I pined away for him over a lot of time, but I knew it wasn't going to happen," The vampire nodded, "And Buffy always gets what she wants," She motioned towards him, "You're living proof."

He chuckled, "Thanks, I think," And then, he went serious, "XAnder was so dumb. And blind. Didn't they know you were coming home?"

She shrugged, "I don't know, I don't care. I just wish she had talked to me, even to say that she liked him. She didn't."

"She obviusly didn't value your friendship; Xander didn't honor it too much, either."

"I know." Two sad words breezed from her mouth.

He tried to lighten the mood, "Well, I think you're in an obvious, dire need of forgetting your troubles," She backed away form him, nervously, "I was thinking more along the lines of dinner and dancing."

She stiffled a giggle, despite herself, "Dinner and dancing?"

He nodded, "Dancing can be good for the soul," He smirked. Willow got the joke instantly, "And I think it would do you good. And the food will be amazing, I promise you. You'll forget all about Xander Harris and Buffy Summers."

"Promise me that, too?"

"I promise."

She accepted, and then he kissed her hand delicately, "It's a fancy restaurant. Dress nice. Be at the fountain at seven."

"You didn't expect a decline, did you?"

There was no answer. He was gone.

End Part 3

<<I'm insane. I flipped my lid. I'm going to become vampire food. I'm so gullable. I can't believe this is happening.>> Willow walked slowly to the fountain, partly because the shoes she borrowed from Cordelia were painful to walk quickly in, but also because she wasn't sure if she really wanted to go. Sure, he was gorgeous. But, so dangerous at the same time.

"You made it," He smiled, producing a rose from is coat pocket, "I'm glad."

She smiled up at him, despite herself, and asked curiously, "Where are we going?"

"Chez Vous," He replied, "It's supposed to be a really nice place."

"I hope you hold up your end of the bargain."

He took her tiny hand in his, and whispered in her ear, "You won't remember who Xander Harris is by the end of tonight."

"Really?" She inquired sarcastically, "Bold words, for a---"

"---bold guy."

They walked the rest of the way in silence, holding hands. Willow felt strangely secure with him, even though she knew that he could kill her easily if he wanted to. <<He probably does. Wouldn't surprise me if I found myself lying in a gutter somewhere dead and bloody.>>

"What are you thinking about?" he asked, as they walked inside the well-lit restaurant, "You seem, well, distracted."

She nodded, "I'm trying to figure out if your going to kill me before the meal, or after. Maybe you cou lfill me in."

"I'm not going to kill you." <<She really thinks poorly of me, doesn't she? I'm not going to kill her, just use her against Buffy. My plan is going to work.>>

"Really?"

He nodded, as a waiter escorted them to their table, "Really."

After they were given their menus, she exclaimed, "But you can't eat."

"I can. It just doesn't do me any good."

"Oh."

<<I'm getting tipsy. This isn't good.>> The evening was fun. They didn't dance too much, just sit, joke around, and drink fine, expensive champagne. <<But this is sooo good.>>

"Enjoying yourself?" She nodded earnestly, "Well, how about I make a proposition?"

"Is it a good one? Or, does it involve sucking my blood?"

He shook his head, and said, "I could offer you a night of sheer pleasure," She looked confused, so he continued to explain, "We both know Xander wasn't really your type. he's stupid," She nodded, feuling his mssion greatly, "He could never treat you right. He;s only a boy. But, I'm a man of many centuries. I'm mature, wise, and experienced."

"What are you offering me agian? She slurred impatiently.

"A night of passion," He had leaned forward and whispered, "A new experience for you to savour. No vamping. Just you, me, alone."

She nodded, "Where?"

"My place." His eyes shimmered. <<I feel different about her now...>> He pushed those thoughts away, staying focused on his plan. <<Snap out of it.>>

"Let's go." <<Might as well hammer in the last nail in my coffin of misery.>>

His new home wasn't mnuch different than the mansion that he shared with Drusilla and Spike, except this one was much more kept up over the years, due to the fact that it wasn't abandoned. He had purchased it, hired people to fix it up, and decorate it. <<Home, sweet home.>>

Willow was in awe. The artifacts and treasures the house held were amazing. Beyond amazing. Beautiful and mysterious; they reminded her of Angelus himself. Perfect examples of his fine taste. <<Wow.>>

It didn't take long for him to make a move. He started by holding her strongly, yet gently, in his powerful arms, staring softly at her. She half closed her eyes, as he stroked her face, "I promise you," He menaced in her ear, "You'll never want to forget this night." A passionate kiss sealed his vow.

She wrapped her arms around his neck, and responded. <<He's good. Really good.>> He circled her closely with his arms, nestled firmly in her waist, and deepened it. She yielded with no fight, as his hands slid behind her, drawing her in deeper, to feel his manhood growing, pressing against her.

As she gasped, he chuckled. <<A virgin.>>

She pulled back quickly, something on her mind, "What's wrong?"

"Nothing," She smiled bashfully, "I was just wondering what you get out of this."

He nodded, as they made their way to the sofa, "Well, I do love virgins," He confessed, "And you've alway sbeen a bit of a goddess to me," her eyes widdened, "Okay, you've been more than a bit---a whole one. Adorable, graceful, sexy," He kissed her, but she resisted, wanting to know more, "I thought that this was what you needed to forget them," He hissed the last word, pausing for effect, "And I'd only more than enjoy you," He sniffed the air, smelling her natural, aroused fragrance, "I think you're enjoying me, too."

She blushed, obviuosly embarrassed, "I've been through a lot, maybe---" He cut her off with a kiss, and again, she yielded, all thoughts melting and dripping out of her ears, "Maybe we shoul just do this."

"That's a good idea," He cooed romantically, hoisting her up graceful in his arms, and carrying her to the bed. He set her down on the black satin sheets, her red hair fanning out behind her head beautifully. Slowly, he stripped her of the dress she was wearing, and she helped him get herself out of her underwear. It was then, when he found himself staring at her like a schoolboy, that he said, "God, you're beautiful."

She smiled and shrugged, as she reached up and started to unbutton his white shirt. When it was pulled out of his pants, and tossed to the floor with her clothes, she ran her hands across the rippling muscles of his abdomen. <<Ohmygod....he's soooo solid!>> As her hands reached the waistband of his pants, he closed his eyes, and groaned.

"WIllow," He grimaced, as she traced the bulge in his pants, "Play nicely, please."

She snicked softly, reaching up to unzip the leather pants. <<I wonder if he's a briefs or boxers kind of person...>> She found nothing else underneath. <<That answers my question. Isn't that uncomfortable?>> She reached out to touch it, and that's when he lost control, pushing her small hands away.

"Getting it started a little too fast," He started kissing her body, as he slid out of his pants, "I don't want to rush things. Don't you want it to last?"

As his kisses went lower and lower, between gasps of pleasure, she moaned, "Uh huh."

"Then we'll take it slow."

"Not too slow," she uttered, "I might go insane if you keep it up like this."

His mouth travelled upwards again, and found her breasts quickly. He went from one to the other, right ot left, sucking and nibbling. Her groans of agonizing enjoyment kept him going. It ceased, slowly, and then, hishands went straight to her core. She jumped, as shocks went through her body. <<Gee, she's sensitive.>>

But slowly, he preapred for an entrance. She made small painful noises, as he broke through her barrier, but slowly, they vanished, and happier sounds followed. Her nails dug into his back, leaving little red welts, and turning him on more, which made him thrust harder, and get her more worked up.

Within minutes, they had both exploded, and a powerful orgasm rocked their systems. Angel leaned back, and sighed, while Willow spent the time catching her breath. She looked to him, and saw a fire burning in his eyes steadily, "I suppose you want to do this again?"

He kissed her. That was enough of an answer.

End Part 4

Willow woke up, and found herself entangled in his limbs. Her head throbbing from the champagne, and her limbs sore from a night of passionate sex, she was indeed in a sort of bad shape. <<Wow.....really, truly, genuinely wow>> She frowned, thinking of less pleasurable things, that involved dying in his hands. <<He'll probably kill me when he wakes up.>>

She struggled out of his arms, hoping to escape before he woke up, but, he stirred when she tried to getout of the bed, "Leaving?" His hands grabbed her hips, and pulled her back to him, "I thought you wouldn't go for another few hours, Lover."

<<Lover? WHat's that supposed to mean?>> She tried to resist his charm, but it was futile. She just closed her eyes, as his hands teased her. <<When is this game going to stop?>>

Angelus smiled down at her nude form. Last night had been less of a challenge, but he wasn't complaining, "You were good last night, you know?" Her eyes opened slowly, at the sound of his voice, "Not surprising though....."

"I was good?"

He kissed her, "Very," And then he saw his mistake. A mark, "I am sorry about that." He touched it gingerly with his fingers.

She reached up, in shock, to find a small bite, "Did I-" She coudln't get the words out, "Am I-"

He chuckled, catching on, "No. It's normal sexual activity for vampires. I guess I forgot. It will heal fine, though."

"Good," She sighed, closing her eyes again, and then, they popped open, "What day is today?"

"It's Saturday," he laughed, "Why?"

"School, Tuesday." <<I wish I could stay here like this forever.>>

He leaned over her, "Well, then, I guess we have a couple days to kill before I let you back home," She shook her head, "Why not?"

She answered, as her body tried to betray her, "Cordelia might worry about me. And if Buffy calls---"

The vampire cut her off, "You'll simply have to hear her message when you go back. It's very simple," He kissed her, "So simple."

"Simple......" The red-headed hacker nodded, trailing off as Angelus's desires grew.

He smirked, thinking about how well his plan was working. <<She's mine now. She likes this game. She'll play her part well against the Slayer, and on top of it all, she's good in bed. What a day.>>

Monday night, Angelus dressed Willow in some of Darla's old clothes, that he had kept around for old times' sake, "I like them," She admired the way the pleated skirt moved when she walked and turned in the one mirror he kept in the house, "Thanks."

"You look pretty sexy, Lover," He kissed the top of her head protectively, not quite understanding why he was acting like that, "Make it hard to say good-bye." <<WHy doesn't she feel guilty yet?>>

She just nodded, and then said, "I better go. Walk me home?"

"I'd love to," He smiled naughtily, "But I'm not sure I could leave you there in your room."

"Get your mind out of the gutter, please," She slapped him playfully, "There'll be time for that later."

"Promise?"

She kissed him gently on the lips, "I promise."

She walked into her room, Angelus behind her, and gasped at what she saw. Roses, everywhere.

As he chuckled, due to the expression on her face, "Did you do this?" He nodded, "It's beautiful. Thank you."

He pulled her in fiercely. It scared her at first, the intense expression on her face, until he said, "You're welcome."

She fell loose in his arms, and laughed softly. He drew her in for a kiss, but she ended it quickly, "If you start, you might not be able to walk away so quickly."

<<I hate it when she's right. Besides, instead of intoxicating her further with me, I should go, and let guilt to its thing.>> He nodded, "Hate to admit it, but you're right."

"I'll see you around?" She asked, hopefully.

Angelus' insides lit up, for some reason, and he felt happy when he knew that she wanted to see him again. <<I have to snap out of this hold she has on me.>> He smiled, kissed her forehead, and said, "I'll see you around."

"Okay."

He squeezed her hand once, and then left her room. She flopped down contentedly on her bed, unable to stop the positive vibes from oozing off of her. <<Me, and Angelus....>> She just lay there, and thought about it all. <<He was good. He said I was good. It was wow. And, these roses....he certainly knows how to charm a woman.>>

"Willow! What happened!" Troy stormed in, in a panic, "I thought---"

She turned her back to him, "Get out, before he comes back, and sees you here."

That was enough of a threat. He whispered a sincere appology, and then fled from the room. It upset her, because they had been really close friends, until he tried to get her in bed. <<Ugh, I still get shivers thinking about it.>> Cordelia was the only friend she really had here.

"Willow!" Her voice was in the doorway. <<Speak of the devil.>> She then gasped, obviously looking at all the roses, "Who?"

Before the hacker could whirl around, Cordelia was on her bed, asking details at breakneck speed, "Calm down," She tried, "He's just a guy I met coming home from Sunnydale."

"Troy said you came back Thursday....." She trailed off, "That means you've spent the whole weekend with him?" Willow blushed, and nodded, "Wow. I never thought you'd be one to do this."

Willow nodded, "Me neither. But, it happened."

"Any regrets?"

Angelus, from the doorway, was listening. He smirked. <<This is the moment I've been waiting for. Leave it to Cordelia to get the truth out in the open.>>

She looked into the May-Queen's eyes, and nodded her head, "I have one."

"Well?" Cordy tried to get it out of her.

<<How do you tell her what you feel? She's so insensitive about things like that.>> She shrugged, allowing it to ease out of her, "I just wish that I knew mre about him."

The demon was disappointed. <<That's it?! I'm really losing my touch.>> But, sadly, part of him was glad to hear that she wanted to get to know him. He wanted to know her, too. Every bit of her mind and body. He wanted her safety, her happiness, and despite the vampire inside of him, he wanted to love her.

<<I'm really getting soft.>>

Cordelia laughed, "Obviously, Willow, he's going to. Look at the roses. Hey," She stood up, "Look at the card. There's a box, too," She moaned in jealousy, "He really likes you."

Excitedly, Willow accepted the treasures from her hands, "Thanks," She turned her attention to the envelope first. <<I wonder what cryptic message it will be this time...>> She opened the small card, and read the words, "Did I live up to my promise?" She chuckled, and answered softly, "Yes."

"Yes, what?" Cordy pried.

"Just an inside joke."

"Oh. Open the box."

She opened it, to find a silver charm, very similar to her cross pendant, except the charms were green and navy. <<Good thing I had taken that off Thursday.>> There was a note, "I hope this replaces what she gave you. This way, it's much less painful for both of us." She smiled, and walked over to her bedstand, sliding the cross off of the necklace, and put the charm on it, "Coudl you?"

The brunette nodded, and said, "No problem," She admired it, while putting it on, clasping it from behind, "It's really beautiful. He must be in some money."

"I guess so," Willow turned and nodded, not wanting to give any information away, "Do you want to go out for coffee or anything?"

Cordy shook her head, and then checked her watch, "Oooh, no, I can't. Have to go finish a paper."

"If you need any help---"

She cut her off, "I'm done with that. I'm doing the learning thing."

Willow smiled, "Good. Then, I'll see you tomorrow?"

She nodded, and then asked, "Where did you get those clothes? They're perfect."

"They were a gift."

When Cordelia was gone, she knew ANgelus would return, even just to spy on her. She gave it a few minutes, and then she breathed, "Thank you, Angelus."

"Willow?"

"Hmmm?" She looked up from her coffee, and to Cordelia, "What's wrong?"

She asked boldly, "Since when did you have a scar on your neck?"

She put her hand to her neck, remembering where Angelus had bitten her a few days ago when they had been having sex. She blushed, remembering the whole weekend, and then she knew that she had to confess to her who he really was, "Cordy, I kinda have to be straight with you."

"About what?"

"Who I'm seeing."

"A vampire?"

Willow bowed her head, "Angelus."

Cordy was floored with shock, "Really?" Willow cringed and nodded, "That would explain a lot, ilke the notes, and the money," She nodded again, "Is he bad?" She didn't need an answer, but the hacker still gave her the answer she knew she'd hear, "He doesn't hurt you, does he?" She hsook her head, embarrased to talk, "There haven't been any huge, bloody deaths here...." Trailing off, she tried to reason, "I don't not care, but if both of you are happy, and he's not killing you, or me, then, I approve."

"Thanks," Willow breathed, "He vowed not to kill anyone I knew. And, as far as I know, there haven't been any bloody messes. But, he's been so good, almost."

"When you go home," Cordelia pointed out, "You might want to cover it up."

She nodded, "If it doesn't heal."

As time passed, Willow and Angelus spent most of their nights together. He kept trying to tell himself that the only reason he was so protective of her was because she was great sex, and someone with such energy, and that understood who he was, was hard to find. <<But, I'm getting soft.>>

Willow though she was just in lust. She didn't know much about him, partly because he set up a brick wall, keeping himself away from her. <<It's not love>> She'd tell herself. <<We're just good bed partners. And, I can't love someone who thinks that I'm 'his'.>>

That wasn't true. Despite his possessiveness, she still enjoyed being with him.

And, now, she had to go home. Back to Sunnydale. She didn't want to do it alone.

"Angelus?" She asked, as they walked to his house, "Can I ask you something?"

"What is it?" He squeezed her hand.

She started, "Well," The words got caught in her throat. She didn't know how to ask such a huge favor, "Would you mind coming home with me? To Sunnydale?"

"Why me?"

She answered, "I don't think I oculd face them," She hissed out the last word, "Alone."

He chuckled, as a plan sprung up in his mind, "I'd love to. It will be perfect," They walked up the paved path to his house, and walked inside, "I can make Buffy jealous, and you can make Xander furious."

His hands found her cheeks, pinching each other simultaneously, making he rleap, "Eek!" He laughed, as she rubbed her bruised behind, "That's guarranteed to bruise, Mister," And then she reflecte don what he said, "What do you mean?"

"Who does Buffy hate?" She nodded towards him, "Who does Xander loathe?" Agian, she motioned towards him, "Who's most important to both of them, besides themselves?" He nodded towards her, while she shook her head, "EVen though they were stupid that night, I think they still care about you."

She shrugged, "So, you want to make themmad? A small smile crept across his face, "Count me in....as long you can promise me that they'll be upset and hurt to see us together."

He laughed, pulling her in close pasisonately, "Have I ever broken a promise yet?" She shook her head, "When do you want to go?"

"My flight leaves tomorrow."

"I can't fly," Her eyes showed the disappointment she was feeling, to think he couldn't go, "I can, however, drive partway tonight, and partway tomorrow night."

He pulle dher in for a kiss. Her mind melted, thoughts evaporating, "Mmmmm."

"So, that means tonight will be short," He shrugged, "Oh well. This vacation will be worth it."

"It will," She entwined her fingers in his hair, "Kiss me."

He did that, and much more.

As she dressed, in more of Darla's stuff, he mused, "Maybe I shoul just give you all off her clothes?"

"I like them," She smiled, "Thanks."

He disappeared, and returned with some effects of hers, "I'll bring the rest with me. But, make sure you wear them when we're together."

"Turns yuo on?"

He nodded, laughed, and then said, "But, it changes your taste in clothing, and makes it look like I'm the reason for your changing."

"But," She pointed out, "You are."

"You know what I mean," He was angry that he made a mistake, "It'll look like they don't know you anymore."

She nodded, "You'll bring the rest?" He nodded, as she accepted the few skirts and tops, "What is in the rest?"

"A few dresses, some lingerie," Her eyebrows went up, "Pretty things."

"Oh," She smiled, "Where will I see you again?"

He reited his plan, "I washoping yuo'd stay at my old place for tomorrow night," She nodded, accepting that, "But, I'd like you to nto go out," She looked confused, "Can't let them see you by yourself."

"Right."

"I'll be there as soon as I can. There are supplies, food, everything is there. I'll probably take either two or three days to drive straight there," She frowned, "Well, just don't be out at night. No one there knows that you're mine, yet, so do the good thigns, visit your parents, do the holiday stuff. Avoid Bufyf and Xander."

She didn't kow why she was accepting this plan so easily, but she couldn't help it, "Can do that. Don't take too long."

"I won't, you know that."

End Part 6

"Mom?" Willow left a message on the answering machine, when she arrived at Angel's apartment, "What's up? I'm here, back home, and I'm staying at a friend's place. I promise to call again, and I might drop by tomorrow, if I thought you'd be home," She trailed off, and then jumped back in, "Well, I better go. I'll keep in touch. Happy holidays."

She hung the phone up, and then went to unpack her things. It was lonely, in this place all by herself. She didn't think he cou ldmake it in two days, so she preapred herself for a lonely few days without him.

"Hello?" Buffy's voice rang through the apartment. Willow had seen her following her home from a house visit, she had made it home ten mintues before she caught on, and managed to hide anything that would give the hacker's existance there away. She hid in a small space in Darla's wardrobe, that she had found. <<He must've really been attatched to her. He saved all of her things. There, and here.>> The Slayer wasnt detered easily, "I know you're here! Don't know who you are, but I know you're here!"

Willow didn't move, until she heard Buffy curse, cry, and slam the door shut behind her. <<That had been close. Too close.>>

"You're here!" She flung herself into his arms two days after her chase with Buffy, "Angelus, I wasn't---":

He soothed her, and caressed her cheek, "I'm here now. I was stuck in the outside of town this morning, so I crawled through the sewers to get here, to you."

"Buffy," She whimpered, scared, "She knows someone lives here now."

"Huh?"

"She followed me," Angelus growled, "No, no, she doesn't know it's me, but she has a good idea that someone lives here. I hid everything that would link you me, and I hid in Darla's wardrobe," He grinned mischievously, "You saved a lot of her thigns."

He nodded, "I did. One of the Master's men dropped them off here, after I killed her. I was her closest of kin. Couldn't bring myself to destroy them. But, aren't you glad?"

She laughed, "Can we go out tonight? I'll wear some of her stuff...." She teased him, knowing how much he loved the short, pleated skirts and tight, clingy sweaters of his old love.

"Yes, Lover, we will," He snuggled closer to her, "We'll show them how things've changed."

Willow was feeling aprehensive. Dressed in a shorter version of the pleated skirt she had grown accustomed to, and a tank top with a cardigan over it, with platform loafers, she felt like she was becoming something bad. <<Like Darla. Maybe he wants to bring me across. I feel so wretched for doing this.>>

As they walkedto the Bronze, Angelus looked at his girl. <<She looks upset.>> He stopped them, pulled her possessively close, and kissed her fiercely. She steped back, dazed, "What's wrong?" He asked.

"That just wiped the thoughts from my mind," She breathed, chuckling lightly, and then she said, "What if I'm not convincing?"

"Leave that up to me."

"Okay," They continued to walk. She was so nervous, "I have to calm down," She muttered as they walked up to the entrance of the club, "What if they're not in here?"

He put his hand on her hip, pulling her close, "We can still have a good time, right?" She nodded, "Let's go, then."

She walked into the famliiar atmosphere of the Bronze. She closed her eyes and reminised abotu all the good itmes that happened there. Then, she opened her eyes, and saw Buffy and Xander dancing, "Maybe we shoul go back."

Angelus grabbed her, and kept marching, "We're going to dance."

"Oooh..." She smiled, as they went to the other side of the dance floor, far from the Slayer and her partner. <<They're still a couple.>>

She wrapped her arms around his neck, and his went instinctively to her waist, as they started to sway in time to the music. <<Relaxing.>> Angelus was having a good time. He liked showing off his prize. Leaning forward, he smelled her hair. <<Vanilla.>> He inhaled it deeper, enjoying the sensations it gave him. The memories of past lives and loves it loaned him. She was having an effect on the vampire, and he wasn't complaining.

Suddenly, vicious movement caught his eye. Buffy had spotted him. He whispered in Willow's ear, "They see us."

She stiffened, but he reached down for her face, stretching her up to meet him, and kissed her, sweetly, passionately. She instantly felt every worry in her body go limp. <<He's having the strangest effect on me.>>

"Hello, Buffy." Angelus sneered.

Willow didn't look up at first, until she felt his hand on her shoulder, "Hey, Buffy," She looked from the very angry Slayer, to the even more angry Xander, "Xander."

Xander was mad. And, scared for Willow. He grabbed her arm, and said, "We're leaving."

"Xander Harris," She yelled, "Let go of me!"

That startled him, and made Angelus chuckle. <<She's a wildcat in there, after all. Have to unleash some of that in bed someday. That would be fun.>> Buffy glared, "What have you done to her? Did you vamp her?"

He shook his head, "No."

Willow felt his hand grab her from behind, and pull her in close to him, agianst his groin. She pushed closer, trying to tease him. He looked at her sternly, "Willow....."

She shrugged, "Sorry."

Buffy was confused, "What's going on."

"We're home for the holidays," Willow answered, "I asked him to come with me. I mean, technically, by the rules, he should've met Mom and Dad earlier, but this was the only time it could happen."

"You mean," Xander started to put two and tweo together, "You guys are---"

Angelus cut him off, "A couple."

Buffy pleaded with the hacker to leave with her, to leave the demon alone, but Willow refused, much to Angelus' delight, "Looks like she's not your Willow anymore. She's mine."

"You, you, bastard!" Xander hissed. Bufyf shook her head, and dragged Xander away.

"This isnt' the end of it," She spoke angrily, as they left the club.

Willow sighed, leaning against him, and Angelus dragged her out after them, "Angelus, no. We should just let them stew over this."

"I want to talk to them more."

"No, let's go. I want---"

An idea flashed thorugh his mind, "I have a plan. Be shy."

They rushed outisde, making noise, as he started kissing and touching her. She blushed, and decided to play her part, "Angelus, no. Not now, no."

"C'mon," He leered, hearing Buffy's shoes as they started to follow them, "Don't be shy."

Willw laughed, she had to. It was funny. But then, she sobered, and said, "We're not doing it out in the middle of Sunnydale."

"Lover, this is no fun."

"Wait until we go home."

Buffy froze in her tracks. <<Lover? That's what he called me after we....oh gawd. They didn't.>>

"Where are we going?" Willow asked, and then she saw the mansion, "Do I have to?"

He nodded, "I have to tell them that you're mine. They won't hurt you that way."

"Oh." She said, as they ventured inside. A few fledgling vampires growled and hissed at them, but Aneglus' powerful snarl kept them away. He stood in the foyer, and yelled, "Sit 'n' Spin!"

Drusilla rushed out from one of the rooms, "Angel! You've come back to me!"

He shook his head, "I've come back, but not to you. Where's your---"

"Right here, mate," Spike appeared, wheeling himself into the room, "What do you have here? A meal?"

He hsook his head, "This girl," He held her close, "Is mine. My consort. Anyone touches her, they'll deal with me. I won't be nice, either."

Drusilla whimpered, "But...."

"Don't touch her, Pet," Spike welcomed her into his arms, "I wouldn't like to see yuo served up on a platter for him. You wouldn't look pretty on a silver plate."

She kissed him, and then stood up, "Does she play?" Angelus chuckled, much to the surprise of Willow, whoi was rapidly becoming scared, "Or, only with you."

"Only with me for now."

Drusilla approached the trembling girl, "Poor child. She's scraced of us," She looked up at Angelus, "What ideas did you plant in her head?"

"None."

Drusilla didn't hear him. Instead, she leaned forward, and kissed the hacker. <<What the hell? She' psycho. Totally flipped her lid.>> Willow tried to jump further into his embrace, but the vampyress' grip on her head kept her stationed where she was. When she was done, she pulled back, "Angel's been naughty. A bad daddy."

"Dru...." His voice held great warning. Willow reflected. <<He prbably enjopyed that.>>

"They share a bed, Spike," She said, "Like us."

Spike heaved a sigh of relief, "Well, now, I suppose you don't need to fight over Dru anymore?"

Angelus nodded, "Willow wouldn't like that very much."

"Where are you staying?" Drusilla tried to get more information out of him, but he shook his head, which angered her, "You aren't going to tell me...." She trailed off, and studied Willow again, "She's wearing yuor other lover's clothes. How many lovers have you had?"

"Pet," Spike said, "This si getting out of hand. Let them be."

Angelus backed away, taking Willow with him, "I have to go, Dru, Rollerboy," He heard Spike snicker, "Remember the girl is mine."

Willow attacked him when they got outside, "You liked that, didn't you?" He didn't answer, "Didn't yuo? You liked seeing me terrified, didn't you?"

He doubled over in laughter, "It was priceless. She would'nt've hurt you. It was cute though," He kissed her, "Pretty sexy, too. Hw would you feel about it?"

She was furious, "You better start figuring out a way to make up for that. I'm not getting involved with them. Then I'll start to feel like I'll have to be one. I don't want to be. I want to be me."

"I like you the way you are, don't worry."

End Part 7

"So," Angelus smirked that morning, as she was dressing to visit her parents, "You never told me if you actually enjoyed Dru's kiss, or not."

Willow blushed, "I can't believe you."

"I'm a monster," He admited dryly. Willow just rolle dher eyes, as he continued, "Because I must admit that it turned me on to see her do that."

"Do you still want her?"

He was hsocked, "What kind of question is that?"

She reasoned, "Well, I obviously can't compete with her, and it makes me worry, because---"

He picked her up in a searing kiss. It left tears in her eyes, especially after he said, "If that leaves any doubt in your mind how I feel about you, Willow---" He broke down, and confessed, "I'm getting soft. I've fallen in love, with you. I love you, and no matter how hard I try and fight it, I can't. I don't want to."

"Angelus," She embraced him, "I don't know what to say," She studied his eyes, searching for the truth. Knowing it was true, she blurted out, "I've been in love with you ever since that first rose."

He sighed, and kissed her, letting his hands slide up her skirt to feel her breasts, enclosed in a silky bra. She moaned, as he pulled back, "You better go have lunch."

She nodded, "Dad might worry if I'm late."

"Do you want to go to the mall tonight?"

"Why?"

He smiled, "I was thinking of buying you a few nice dresses, so when we go out to dinner...." He trailed off, "I want you to be radient. More than you are now. I want to show you off to the world. To shower you with gifts."

She shuddered, and smiled, "I'll be back before the sun sets."

Buffy stormed into the library, where Giles was reading a book, even though school was closed, and he was ordered to stay out, he couldn't just leave all the slaying matierials there.

"Giles," She said, "I saw Angelus last night."

"Really?" His eyebrows shot up, "Do you know why he's back?"

She shrugged, and then thought about what Willow had said to them, explaining why he was with her, "Home for the holidays."

"How poetic," He reflected, and then added, "You should train."

"I haven't been here in so long," She mused, as they walked inside, "I was going to go shopping, when...." She faltered, "When...."

"Willow," He soothed her by saying her name softly, "Does it still hurt?"

She looked up at him, "Betrayal hurts for a while, but I'm picking up the pieces."

"Good," He smiled, as he steered her towards a fancy shop, "There might be something in here that yuo'd like. Of course, we could always go to Europe to find more suitable clothes, but for now---"

She cut him off, "You don't need to shower me with gifts."

"I want to."

"Twist my rubber arm," She grinned, and then said, in awe, "Wow. This is amazing."

It was. It was a dark, almost back, green satin dress. She tried it on, and was amazed. Everyone in the store was. It fit her perfectly. The boat-neck was very flattering, and the skirt clung to her newly aquired womanly curves, "You like?"

He nodded, almost drooling, "You're a dish."

She blushed, and went back into the change room to take it off. She could hear Angelus tell the clerk that they'd take it with all the accessories that went with it. <<I'm going to be spolied. I can't take this much longer.>>

"I'm glad you liked it," He said, "It was beautiful on you. More than those 'uniforms' of Darla's."

"Really?" she squeaked, and then her eyes ran across two people she didn't want to face, "Um, they're outside. I don't like this."

"Who?" His eye scanned the crowd. He found the Slayer, and her mother, shopping in a jewelry store across from the store they were in, "I think I should get yuo a fancy trinket to go with that."

"ANgelus, no," She whispered, as they took the two boxes from the clerk, and headed outside.

He looked at her, "Where's your sense of adventure?"

She grumbled loudly, as they walked inside, "I think I lost it, that night in the mansion when Dru---" He started to laugh out loud, as Buffy walked over to them, "Oh, hi, Buffy."

"Mansion?" She repeated, "You've changed, Willow. WHo are you?"

Angelus stood protectively behind her, "She's a mature Willow," He frowned, "I can't take credit for her changing, though. I think that's where you came in."

She looked confused, but quickly changed the subject, "Willow, please don't get anymore involved with him. He's dangerous. Menace to society. And Dru? Don't even get me started. Please, Will."

Joyce heard her daughter pleading, and walked over, "Hi, Willow, and," Her eyes widdened, "Angel, right?" He nodded, while she turned to Buffy, "Is somethign worng?"

"She's only making the worst mistake of her life!" Buffy protested angrily, "And,I'm trying to stop it."

Joyce shook her head, "I don't think you can control who she dates. If it didn't work out for you, yuo can't stand in the way of his happiness with her."

Angelus nodded behind her back, as she left to talk to a salesperson. Buffy huffed, "Willow, break away. Before he gets you into---" The look on her face confirmed her nightmares, "You aready.....?" They both nodded, "Why?!"

"We love each other," Angelus rested his chin on the top of Willow's head, "She trusts me, I trust her."

"And, I don't think you have much of a claim on my life anymore," Willow pointed out, "I mean, you couldn't even call or write and tell me how you felt about him. Angelus was there, and he helped me forget all of my troubles."

"Him?" Buffy questioned. And, then, it his her. That's why she never came home for Thanksgiving. <<She saw us.>> She tried to appologize, "I'm---"

Willow cut her off boldly, "I don't care."

Willow stayed at home for part of the night, while Angelus went to hunt. She didn't want to know what he did while she wasn't there, and he knew that, and didn't tell her. It worked out wonderfully. She felt bad, because of her run in with Buffy. But, now that the rtuth was in the open, maybe everyone could just accept it.

There was a knocking at the door, so she got up, wearily, and opened it. <<Shit!>> It was Drusilla, "Is Angel here?"

She shook her head, "He went out to hunt." She was scared, knowing this one could kill her in an instant, and wouldn't think twice about not heeding Angelus' warning.

"Can I come in?" <<She hadn't been invited?>>

This was a sigh of relief. She hsook her head, "He told me not to invite anyone in."

Dru pouted like a child, "But, now, we can't play," She leane din closer, "You liked it, didn't you?" Willow blushed, not wanting to face the issue, "Miss Edith said you did. She also told me that Angel liked it."

<<Angelus...hurry up. Don't leave me too long with this nut.>>

"What's wrong?" Dru ventured intot he silence.

She dispelled her worry, "Nothing. I'm just---"

"Dru," Angelus growled from behind, making Willow sigh in relief of his arrival, "What are you doing here?"

"I wanted to play, with her," She grinned wickedly, "Like before. Miss Edith said you both liked it."

"Not here, Dru." Willow was thankful that he was protecting her.

"She wants it," She taunted, "But she won't come to me."

Angelus made it to Willow's side, and wrappe dher arm around her, "If she wanted to, she would."

"She's scared," Dru protested boldly, "But I don't know why."

<<Because a mad woman is trying to seduce me.>> Willow's thoughts raced. She sunk deeper into his embrace, trying to get farther away from Drusilla. <<Angelus, save me!>>

"Maybe she doesn't know how to play games like you, Dru," Angelus said, noting how tense the hacker had become, "Maybe she isn't in the mood."

She countered, "But she's in the mood for you."

He was growing frustrated, "Drusilla, please, go back to Spike. He needs you."

"I'll be back. To play for real."

End Part 8

Two days later, before Christmas, Willow stirred out of sleep just before the sun set, very confused. Angelus noted this, and nudged her to speak of it, "What's wrong, Lover?"

"Would yuo like to see me and Dru," She gulped, "Together?"

He chuckled darkly, and she knew he would the minute he did that, so his words didn't surprise he rmuch at all, "It's crossed my mind, a few times. But, I'd be worried about you."

"You'd protect me, wouldn't yuo?"

"Of course I would. But, she could scare the daylights out of you, with her insanities," He kissed her bare shoulder, pulled her in closer, "And I like you now."

She was considering it, "If it means a lot to you, I would. I mean, I thought I'd be shy for the rest of my life, but," She smirked, "You've brought out a different part of me."

"I'm proud of that accomplishment, Wildcat." He teased her. <<She's amazing. Every inch of her.>>

"Seriously. Is that what you want?"

His hands travelled lower and lower, "Yes."

"I'll be brave, then," She sighed as he started to tease and play with her, "For you." <<I'm crazy. I've really flipped now. At first, I thought just being with Angelus was bad, but this, this is insane.>>

"I love you," He whispered, as she rolled over to face him, "I hope yuo know that." He started kissing her breasts, and then, it became sucking and nibbling. She moaned as he flicked his tognue over her erect nipples, and arched her back towards him, craving more. He started planting kisses down her chest, across her stomach, as they got lower and lower, her breathing started to quicken in anticipation. He got as far as the patch of red hair, before stopping.

She groaned, "WHy did you stop?"

"Keeping you in the mood for tonight," He grinned, making her want to hit him, which she did. He grimaced lightly, putting his hand to the cheek she had hit, "Willow, what was that for?"

"Teasing me," She growled fiercely, "I can't believe you'd do that, and stop!"

He rolled out of bed, out of her angry, yet playful, reach, "You'll get beyond that point tonight."

"Promise?"

"I do."

<<I'm insane.>> They were walking towards the mansion. First, she didn't believe they'd do it there, with Spike there. But, He found out that Drusilla would keep him out of the house. Odd. Angelus was excited. His obsession and his love were going to play. His manhood had been growing progressively since Willow mentioned that she would do this for him.

Angelus was thinking other thoughts contrary to Willow's, however. <<This is going to be great. Willow's amazing. I never thought she'd be this good. I never thought I'd share this willingly.....>>

They walked into the deserted mansion, to see Drusilla, in the the main room, dressed in a beautiful red satin dress. Willow looked so much more tame next to her, dressed in a little sheath dress in a peachy color. <<God, help me. Give me strength.>>

"Angel! You've come!" Drusilla clapped her hands together, "And you brought your love with you. How delightful. We can all play."

He nodded, "Yes, we will. But, hurt her, and you'll pay. She's mine---"

"Say no more."

She circled Willow. They watched each other carefully. Angelus smirked. Despite his love for the hacker, he still loved things like this. It was part of him. He oculdn't help it. <<If only Darla was here, too. But, maybe that would be too much for Willow.>>

Drusilla made the first move, like usual. She kissed her. Gently, this time, treating Willow as if she'd break. Willow sighed, and decided she might as well enjoy it, so, despite herself, she reached out to touch the dark hair of the crazy demon. <<Unreal. Maybe I'm dreaming.>>

Angelus split them up, bringing Willow to his mouth. She was glad that he reclaimed her. Dru, not wanting to feel left out, started to undo his pants. When they were low enough, she took his manhood into her mouth, sucking on it. He uttered a deep growl, and hoisted Willow up around his waist. She wrapped her legs awkwardly around his torso to keep her balance.

He pulle dhis mouth away, giving Willow some much needed air, "Maybe we should---" Dru stood up, and led them to a room. The room she shared with Spike. Angelus started to care, but then, he realized he could use that against 'Sit n Spin', "Good idea, Dru."

They lay down; Dru resumed her job, while Willow sat motionless, confused on what she should do. Angelus decided that for her, ripping her panties off, and sitting her on top of his face. As he licked and lapped at her pussy, Dru sucked his cock. Every once and a while, the vampyress would reach forward and grab Willow from behind, making her yelp in pleasure.

Angelus finally came inside of Dru's mouth, around the time Willow came on top of his. She rolled off his face, exhausted. As she caught her breath, the other went up, and kissed him, letting him taste himself in his mouth. Willow took the oppurtunity to position herself over his sex. Dru looked over her shoulder, and smirked at her. Angelus groaned, as she started to pump herself slowly, up and down on him. He started getting into it, thrusting his hips with her rhythm. Dru just watched, getting herself aroused further by massaging her clit. Willow felt herself losing control, and let a surly moan out from her mouth as she came, her juices running down over Angelus.

His climax soon followed. Willow crawled up to his head, and kissed him gently. He smiled, offering her encouragement and gratefulness, as he rolled over, to start fucking Dru. The hacker tried to sit and watch, but she didn't like seeing their faces, and them biting at each other, so she got up, and slid outside, into the main room to explore.

"What in bloody hell are you doing here!" Spike cursed, wheeling in, "And nude!"

She gasped, jumping out of his reach, "Nothing. I was, um, sleepwalking."

He sniffed the air, "Bloody Angelus, and you, and Dru?" She nodded, wincing, scared that he might hurt her. But he wouldn't, because he knew that doing that would be the end of him, "And you didn't invite me."

"ANglus is a little possessive."

"A little?" He snorted, "Understatement of the year." She could feel his eyes roaming her body, and it made her feel uncomfortable. She nodded quietly, and hurried backt ot he bedroom, to get dressed.

Angelus laughed, as they left, "So, how did ol' Spikey look when he saw you there?"

"Pissed."

He laughed louder, much to the dismay of Willow, "I'm sorry. It just seems so---" She punched him with all her force, which barely affected him, but it left an impact in his mind, "What was that for!?"

She whimpered, "I feel like I did something terrible. Three of Buffy's worst enemies have seen me, well, in my birthday suit. I'm not exactly proud of being the demons' slut."

"Don't say that. You're not."

"But it's how I feel. At first, I thought it would be fun," She reasoned with him, "But now, I just feel guilty. Really guilty."

He stopped her, sensing that tears were on the way, and pressed her close to his body, "I'm sorry. I really am. If I had known yuo'd be this upset after, I wouldn't've. Willow---"

She cut him off, and stared into his eyes, "Promise me from now on, it'll just be us."

"You know anything you want me to promise I will," She pleaded, "Just us. No Dru. Just us."

"Thank you," She wiped the few stray tears away, "I guess we're Bronze bound?"

"Yuo feel up for dancing?" She smiled, nodding rapidly, "Let's go."

End Part 9

Christmas had passed, and even Willow, being jewish, celebrated with Angelus. She took him to meet her parents, not in the house, but at a restaurant just outside of town. They seemed to love her choice in men, as Angelus was polite and curitous, to say the least, to them, making him seem all too good to be true.

However, the night hadn't gone without a hitch. As they were walking home (because they had shared a drive with her parents, in a limo, payed for by Angelus--and they didn't want anyone knowing where Angelus lived), Xander appeared, waving a crossbow in his hands.

"Merry Christmas, Deadboy," He sneered, aiming, "I hope you like your present."

Willow's mind raced. She jumped out in front of him, "Xander Harris, you will not shoot him!"

He shook his head, "Willow, move."

"No! If you want to kill him, you're going to have to kill me, too! Go ahead!" She screamed at him, "I love him. If yuo can't accept my choice, then I don't want anything to do with you! I respected all of yuor decisions, and you hurt me time and time again with your choices. I'm not letting you do it anymore!"

He backed down, seeing her in tears. He stalked off, yelling, "Watch out, Dead boy! The war's started!" over his shoulder.

When he was gone, Willow colapsed in a heap, sobbing. Angelus picked her up, and hurried to their apartment. When they walked inside, she spoke, "I almost lost you."

"No, you didn't," He said, hoisting her onto the bed, "I'm always going to protect you. Always. I protect what's mine."

She smiled awkwardly, "I didn't know what I was going to do," She started to sob agian, "I'd be alone, for real this time. I didn't want to be alone. Oh, Angel---"

"Shhh," He held her close, rocking he rback and forth, "Don't worry."

"He'll come back. When I'm not around. Like when you're hunting, and maming, and visiting Dru---" She cut herself off, "I'm sorry. I don't share well."

He chuckled, "Neither do I, so consider it a truce. I don't play with her. I only play with yuo."

"But don't you wish sometimes that you could hunt with yuor partner?" He shook his head, "But why?"

"Because, coming home to you makes it all worthwhile."

She furrowe dher eyebrows in thought, and then said, "Oh."

She woke up the next evening, to see Angelus pacing. <<He looks mad. Scary, almost.>> She stirred to an upright position, "What's wrong?"

He hsook his head, "Nothing."

She growled, "Tell me."

He brought the paper over that he had been reading over and over, and sat next to her, "This is from Buffy," He groaned, "A challenge one New Years. For you, I won't fight her. I know you don't want her dead, and to tell you the truth, I'd prefer her living, so she knows that we're together," Willow nodded sadly, realizing the demon in him still wanted to hurt Buffy, "And, I don't want you to be alone if anything happens to me."

"You're going to go?"

He shrugged, "It's a trap," Then he chuckled, "Do I ever sound like a coward. Not quite the Angel I used to be."

"Don't go. We'll send a decoy for them," She pleaded, "Or something."

The idea went well wth Angelus, "Good idea," Suddenly a plan hit him clearly, "We'll disappear after. To Europe."

"B-b-but, school."

His happiness was clouded, "Well, we'll just have to make another trip then. Where would you like to go?"

"I heard the beach is romantic at night," She grinned mischieviously, "Maybe that woul do?"

"Perfect," His plan started to form, "We'll go celebrate New Years at the Bronze. In front of everyone," He explained, "And then, after the countdown, we'll get in a limo, and we'll send someone out there for her to battle with. Maybe Dru," he frowned, "No. Spike would be mad."

She shrugged, "What about a couple fledglings?" She hated thinking like this, and being on the other side of the battle, but it was all so grey when she thought about it. Buffy seemed like the enemy now, because of the bridges burned between them, and ANgelus was now the white knight, because they were in love.

"Good idea. I would like to stop by, and see how she's doing, though," She shuddered, "So, I'll meet you somewhere."

She shook her head, "No. Where you go, I go. If they're planning something, and it goes down, I don't want to be on a beach somewhere, going insane while I wait for you to come back to me in pieces."

"That's not going to happen. Think positive."

She nodded wearily, and struggled to her feet, "I'm going to get a shower," She announced, and then saw the look on his face, "I suppose you want to join me."

"Willow," He hsook his head, "Do yuo even have to ask?"

She slipped into one of her favorite dresses. It was one of Darla's, from Angelus' collection, but it fit her perfectly, and the colors, navy blue and plum, looked stunning on her. It was short, and clingy, and it had a deep and wide v-neckline. She put her hair up in a loose updo, and did her makeup the way Cordelia said she shoul do it. A spritz of vamilla perfume dfinished it off.

Willow couldn't help but be nervous. She was scared that he'd be taken from her. If she was left alone, she didn't know what she'd do. He was so important to her--even though he was a demon--and if he was gone.... <<I better not think about it.>>

Angelus appeared, dressed nicely, in a tux, without the tie. The top buttons were undone, and the pants, despite them not being leather, showed off his assets. he was gorgeous. But, then again, he was always gorgeous to her.

"Are you ready?" He asked, his voice deep and caring.

She nodded, and walked over to him, "You?"

His eyes glimmered in the light, as he said, "You know it's a swing party," She groaned, "What?"

"Is this period clothes?" He nodded, "Seriously?"

"I might even still have the reciept somewhere," He grinned, "Besides, you're beautiful. It won't matter," He leaned into her and inhaled deeply, "You smell amazing. Vanilla, right?"

She smiled, nodding her head, "Vanilla Fields."

"Let's go," He suggested, "I don't want to miss out on some good wholesome fun."

They were the first to walk into the Bronze from the 'war parties'. Angelus got them a table, where they put their coats and Willow's bag. She took her seat, and watched people start to dance. She wanted to, but was apprehensive, because she wasn't sure if she could do it. Her coordination has always been lacking when it came to dancing.

"C'mon," Angelus said, sensing the Slayer was near, "It's time to put on our happy faces, and go dancing. The Slayer and her boyfriend are coming," She pleaded silently with him, "None of that; yuo're sad and nervous, and dancing is just what you need," He stood up, and extended his hand for her to accept, "It helped you before."

Willow shook her head, frustrated, "Fine," She took his hand, and they walked off to the dance floor, where many teens where dancing to the loud swing music, "Just don't expect me to be any good."

He chuckled, "I do expect a little something," He demonstarted how to do it, and slowly, she began to learn, "See? It's not that hard."

She looked up at him, "I expect it to get difficult any second."

"Good prediction." Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Buffy and Xander enter. Quickly, he picked up the pace, leaving Willow to follow aimlessly. He swung her in his arms, through several intricate moves, abviously showing off to his ex. <<Buffy's taking it all in...>> Willow noticed. <<Falling right into his trap. And I'm the pawn in the middle of it. This is not good.>>

She tried to offer a smile to them, in peace, but before she could make eye contact with either of them, Angelus had her dancing again. The music had changed, but it made no difference; he just kept swinging her around merciless.

"Could we stop?" She tried to sound manacing, "I'm dizzy." It came out more like a plea, but, it had the same effect.

He nodded, swooping her up in his arms protectively, as they walked to their quiet table. They could feel Buffy's cold eyes on them. It made Willow start to squirm, "Would you quit that?" It didn't take long for it to bother the vampire.

"Her stares are scaring me," She refered to the Slayer, "I---" He leaned forward and kissed her, "That helps."

"Good."

A magickal thought crossed her mind, and since she couldn't do it there, she excused herself politely, "May I go to---" He nodded before she even finished. <<I have to do this. It might save everyone a lot of pain.....>>

<<I hope I remember.>> She crept into the bathroom, and luckily, no one was there, "Let's get this started...." She wanted to try a small spell, in hopes to stop the fight between Angelus, Xander, Buffy and herself. She sat comfortably on the counter, and started to chant, while holding the charm the Angelus had given her because of the gemstones' magick properties, "Make peace with me, oh mighty....." She faltered, forgetting the deity's name, "Oh mighty Julilea," <<I hope that was right.>> "Your powers fill me, now I pray, give me the strength to face today."

A strange vibe went through her, the longer she chanted. It felt strange. Really strange. Then, her eyes started to glow a pale green. However, she didn't see that. Her fingernails changed colors, from natural to a deep crimson. <<Like blood. Did the spell say that would happen?>> She tried to recall the after effects, but she couldn't, so she headed back out to where ANgelus was.

She found him fighting with Buffy verbally. She looked upset, worried, and concerned. <<I wonder what's going on!>> She slid into his lap, quietly, and asked, "What's up guys?"

"Why are you so attatched to him?!" She stomped her foot frustratedly, "He's a monster, Willow, plain and simple. Not a good guy to be dating. Not one to bring home to Mother."

"But, she already did."

Buffy's eyes went wide in fear, "Did he hurt them?"

She shook her head, "No. In fact, they think I should marry him."

"You're crazy," Buffy continued, "C'mon. I want you safe, and happy. You can't trust him. You can trust me, though. Willow---"

She shook her head, "Can I really trust you? After all of that pain you caused me?"

Angelus agreed, "I think she has a point there, Slayer."

Willow changed the subject, by looking into her lover's eyes, "Can we go dance?"

"Of course."

As they stood up, Buffy asked, "How's Dru, Willow?" She turned a bright shade of crimson, and started giggling nervously. Angelus just chuckled darkly, "Something funny?" Willow shook her head, "Then why did I hear from some little vampy that you were hanging around there."

Angelus covered up for them, "We went to get some of my old things. And to warn Spike's men that if they ever hurt Willow, they'd die."

She quoted Giles, as they went dancing, "'How poetic.'"

"Happy New Years," She curled up in his arms, as the new year arrived, "M---" He kissed her, gently at first, and then she deepened it, before pulling away, "What was that for?"

"The one you kiss on New Year's is the one you'll be with forever," She nodded sadly, "What's wrong?"

She confessed how she felt, "You'll live forever. I won't. We can't be with each other---" He cut her off in a kiss, his familiar style of interuption, "It's true though."

"I will love you forever," He took her hands in his, and brought them to his mouth, where he kissed them gently, "When did you paint your nails?"

She shrugged, "I did a spell," He groaned, "Only one to bring peace between you and Buffy," He chuckled, "Which I realize now is kind of foolish, but, I did it, and poof!" She waved her hands, "My nails wre this color. Do you know why?"

"Did you invoke someone?" She nodded, "That cou lbe why," He then suggested, "You want to go?"

AT that moment, Buffy tapped him on the hsoulder, "Let's go, Deadboy."

He groaned, "Did I mention how much I hate that name?" Se shot him a withering look, "Fine. It will take fifteen minutes. I want to get Willow someplace safe."

She nodded, "I'll be waiting."

End Part 10

Buffy screamed, enraged with the vampire who did show up, "I'll kill you brutally when I find you, Angel!!!!"

From a distance, vampire and hacker watched, "Will she be alright?" Willow asked.

He nodded, "Don't worry. Those are just some inexperienced youngsters. They'll be dust in no time. I just needed a distraction, so she owuldn't be tracking us down," He put the car into gear, "Will we leave now, or would you like to see more?"

She shook her head, "That's okay. Let's go." With no more urging, he drove away, to their beach hideout.

"Do you like this one?" Willow appeared in the bedroom, wearing a white satin nightgown. Her red hair was loose around her, and swung freely as she walked towards Angelus, "Or would you like me to put anothe rone on?"

He shrugged, "Doesn't matter. It won't be on long."

As she grinned wickedly, he tugged at the straps of the gown, pulling them over her shoulders so that it would fall to the ground, exposing her body to him. <<I hate it when he strips me, and stays clothed. I feel so exposed.>> He reached down, and lightly pinched one of her nipples, causing her to gasp slightly in pain. Then, as if to make up for it, he bent down slightly, pressin ghis mouth to hers. <<This is much better. When he kisses me, I feel like I could stay here like this forever.>>

"What?"

She snapped out of her pleasant thoughts, "Nothing, I was just thinking."

"Dno't think," He breathed, as he lowered himself to her lips again, pulling her in close, "Just kiss."

"I can handle that." She closed her eyes, as his hands reached behind her, pulling her hips closer to his. She could feel his hardness through his clothes. She pushed herself in closer to him, grinding gently. He growled softly, and she giggled into another kiss. She entwined her fingers in his hair, lost in the moment.

Quickly, she found hersefl lying on the bed, as Angelus towered over her, undressing. He removed the shirt slowly, and then leaned over her, for a few stolen kisses. She ran her fingers up and down his washboard stomach, until he pulled away, to remove his shoes, socks and pants.

The sight of his body still made her gasp, after all this time they've spent together. <<A god. A rock solid god. And he's all mine.>> She reached out to touch his sex, but he pulled back, "Not so fast, Lover."

She rolled her eyes back into her head, "What are you going to do, stare at me all night?"

He chuckled, and started the long game. He lowered his mouth to one of her breasts, using his teeth to tug at it gently. She moaned, and arched her back up to meet him. He was fueled on by the noises she was making, and continued the torture on her. Afer he was done with one, he moved to the other, driving her mad by brushing her hips and below with his hands quickly and teasingly once and a while.

<<He's such a tease. I can't believe this.>> She pulle dhis head up out of her chest, and growled, trying to sound as threatening as possible, "If you don't hurry up, and stop playing games, I'm gonna go ride a carrot."

He laughe dout loud, "You're funny."

"I'm being serious!" She pouted, "You're playing too many games," He gave her a sideways glance, "I know you like, no, love playing games, but I don't. Not know."

Slowly, he pulled her legs apart, preparing to enter her. He brought his cock to the entrance, just to see her squirm. When she growled again, in frustration, he figured he better start fucking her soon, befroe she goes insane. He entered her slowly at first, making slow, lusty strokes inside her. <<He's driving me crazy.>>

"Wrap---" She did as told, immediately, as he plunged inside her deeper, increasing the speed and rhythm of his strokes. They kissed hungrily, and then Willow felt this surge go through her, as she began planting tiny kisses along his collarbone and neck.

Angelus loved it when she kissed him there. It reminded him of vampiric foreplay, and it turned him on even more, "Ow!" He protested, as he felt a sharp prick in his neck. And then, he felt blood slowly leaving him. He opened his eyes, and saw Willow, latched on to his neck. <<What the hell?!?!?>> But, he thought the time to ask questions would be later, and did the same to her, loving the taste of her blood in his mouth.

After a powerful climax, she fell down on the bed, and he saw familiar ridges on her forehead. She looked up at him, "Why are you staring at me?"

"You're a vampire....."

"Did you?" He shook his head, "But, I bit you, didn't I?" He nodded, as she reached out to touch it, "I'm sorry."

"Are you?"

She hsook her head, "I don't feel evil, if that's what you mean," A thought crossed her mind, "I sucked your blood, you sucked mine; does that mean I'm going to be bad?"

He shrugged lying down next to her on the satin sheets, "You bit me first. You had ridges, and fangs," He smirked, as she made them disappear. Then, he looked at her hands, which were still crimson, and that made him think of something, "Which spirit did you invoke?"

She answered truthfully, and then she added, "I thought it was the friendship deity."

He fell over laughing.

"What?"

No answer.

"Angelus," Her ridges started to show, "Answer me, dammit!!"

He suddenly turned serious, seeing her angry glowing eyes, "You invoked the soul of an old vampire queen," She looked ocnfused, so he launched into the story, "She was Darla's sire. She lived for a long time, until a Slayer, Julianna, killed her. But, she didn't use the old stake through the heart trick," Willow nodded, absorbing the information quickly, scared at what she had become, "She casted a spell, because she was half Rom, you know, and had these powers. A spell to send her soul to walk over the Earth. No one would be able to see it. Or feel it," he snapped his fingers, "Unless you invoked it. Good job."

"What will happen to me?" She sounded very scared.

"If you want to be good, you control the urges; if you don't, yuo may feed with me."

"Am I a vampire?"

He shrugged, "MAybe you shoul talk to Giles."

"Good idea."

End Part 11

She walked into Giles' office a week later, alone. It was dark, but she kenw that she'd be there. Buffy was there, too, which made her nervous.

"Giles," She said, after they all exchanged greetings, "I need to talk to you privately. It's really important."

He shot a look at Buffy, and tossed her a stake. She took the hint, still angry at Willow for 'betraiyng' her, and then she left them alone, "What's wrong?"

She made her 'grr' face, "I'm half and half!"

His eyes opened wide, as she melted back into her human facade, "WHat do you mean?" She launched into the story: about what she did, and what Angelus had told her. As she was saying this, Giles walked to his shelf, and produced a couple of books of the hybrids, "There are more of you."

"Goody," she joked darkly, "Maybe I can join a supprt group."

"Have you killed yet?" She shook her head, "Good. Because when you do, the urges will become harder and harder to define," Slowly, she slumped down in a chair, "Good news is, you can live on people food. You won't always need blood, however, you'll become weak if you don't have at least a bag of blood every eight days."

"Does that affect my need for it?"

He shook his head, "As long as it's not taken in pain from someone."

"Good."

"You can fight this, Willow," He soother her, wiping away the fallen tears for her as he spoke, continuing to talk, "YOu have to be strong."

She stood up, "Could I borrow one of those books, to read at home?" He nodded, handing her the more informative one, "I'll bring it back, don't worry."

"Yuo can keep it. It might be handy somedays."

She hugged him, "Thank you, so much. I'll come back tomorrow."

"You still have a pulse, Willow, yuo're fine. Still alive. Just---"

"I have a dead vamp inside me," She cut him off, pulling back, "I better go."

He nodded, and she disappeared into the night.

She found Angelus in the park, waiting patiently for her return, "Hey, Lover," She teased him playfully, as he swooped her up in a kiss, "What was that for?"

"I'm trying to be supportive," He replied, pulling the book out of her hands, "So, there's more like you?" She nodded, "What's the prognosis?"

She made a ts'k - ing sound, "You're stuck with me. For ever and ever."

"That wouldn't be a bad thing," He settled her on his lap, "And, just so you know, I don't care what path you take, good or bad. I like you, Willow," She blushed, and was about to say something, when she saw his eyes flash, so she backed down and let him continue, "Just the way you are. We'll work things out."

She smiled, nuzzling against his chest, "Good."

"Besides," He teased, "It was a huge turn on to find you drinking my blood. A vampire's mouth is the sexiest thing---" She hit him, using her newly aquired force, "Hey!"

She menaced, "I was terrified, and you were loving whole thing!" Her ridges appeared, and she didn't bother to hide them, "The nerve! That's why you didn't stop it!"

He grabbed her, and silenced her with a trademark smooch, "C'mon," His eyes glinted, "Let's go work things out."

"Ooooh...." She snarled, as they walked back to his apartment, to celebrate.

The End
