Summery: Angel says two words he should have said a long time ago.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Angel walked into the main room of the huge mansion he called home, just thinking.
Thinking about how he should tell her something he should have told her the first night he came back from Hell
"Thank you," he said to himself as he looked into the fire that was glowing a deep gold.
After about a half an hour of thinking he heard a knock at the door. He opened the door, it was the woman he was waiting for.
"Willow."
Willow looked up with big green eyes and said, "Angel."
"Thank you for coming. Come in."
Willow walked inside the huge house and turned around, "Angel, can I ask you a question?"
"Of course."
"Well I was wondering why did you ask me to come here all dressed up?"
Angel just then looked at what the red headed girl was wearing. She had a long black silk skirt that touched the ground, a white blouse, and to little clips holding her hair back.
After eyeing Willow, Angel said, "I'm taking you some place."
That is all he said and put his hand out so Willow could take his. Willow put her hand in Angel's and started walking out of the mansion hand in hand.

Angel and Willow walked to this nice little restaurant in town. They walked in still hand in hand.
***
They walked out of the restaurant, an hour and a half later, both had the biggest smiles on their faces.
"Angel, you shouldn't have. This is the sweetest thing anybody did for me in a long time.
Thank you," Willow said in a slow and sweet voice. "You didn't have to do that."
Angel looked down to the face that was smiling one of the biggest smiles he hasn't see in a long time, and smiled.
They walked until they came to Sunnydale Park. They walked up to the swings and Willow sat on one of them.
"I'm glad you liked it so much, and I did have to do it," Angel took in a breath that he did not need.
"Willow, I have something to tell you."
"Yes, what is it?"
Angel sat down in the swing next to Willow and turned to look in to her eyes. He took her hands in his and started to talk, "I just wanted you to know that I am thankful for what you did for me."
"For what?" Willow asked.
"For my soul, I never had the chance to tell you thank you. I mean after all the things I did to you, Buffy, Giles, everybody and you risked your live saving mine."
"Angel it';s"She was cut off by Angel, "No, thank you and I want you to have this," Angel tool out a box out if his jacket. It was a small black box with a gold ribbon that shined like the stars in the night sky, he handed it to Willow.
Willow opened the box and in it had a silver necklace with a silver heart on it. Willow's mouth dropped open, "Angel it's...it's beautiful."
"Just like you."
"Angel, thank you."
"No Willow...thank you."
Angel took the necklace out of the box and put it around Willow's neck.
"It looks great on you," as Angel pulled away he gave Willow a lite kiss on her pale cheek.
"Thank you," those were the only words Willow&'s mouth could form.
"Come on I'll walk you home."
"Thanks"
They both got up from the swings they were sitting. Angel put his leather jacket over Willow's shoulders and started walking to Willow's house.
