CORRUPTING INNOCENCE (2/?)

Mayor Wilkins looked up as Faith walked into his office. He smiled, "Faith, dear. How did your little experiment go?"

"Better than I ever imagined," Faith said, resisting the urge to simply kill him. She moved to sit on the edge of his desk, watching his eyes narrow. She smiled, not believing that she had ever worked for this little slimy bastard.

"There are three perfectly good chairs," Richard pointed out dryly.

"Yeah, I can see," she said, not making any attempt to move.

"Fine, sit there," he said, knowing it would be pointless to argue with her. "So, things worked as you predicted."

"Oh yeah," Faith said, licking her lips as she remembered the past two days fucking and learning from her new sire. She had made her first kill under his tutelage. It had been amazing, the thrill of the hunt, the feel of the blood as it coursed down her throat, the sound of the heartbeat as it faded. She got wet just thinking about it. And Angelus was an amazing lover. He was the best fuck she had ever had. A rough, fierce lover but at times generous and almost caring. They had spent days discussing their plans. He didn't want to make the same mistakes as he had before. The only two things they knew for sure were that the mayor had to be dealt with and that Willow was going to be theirs.

"So, do I count Angelus among my staff now?" Richard asked, frowning as he noticed a few subtle differences in her.

There was a snort from the doorway. "Sorry, I don't work for anyone."

"Angelus, I assume?" Richard asked, the frown deepening as he sensed the power in the arrogant man standing in his doorway.

"In the flesh," Angelus drawled lazily, entering the office and shutting the door. He moved in between Faith's legs, his hand moving to her chin. "Baby girl was good."

Faith smiled at the praise, "I waited for you, Daddy."

"What is going on here?" Richard asked, rising from his chair.

Faith looked at him, allowing the change to take over her face. She could smell his fear, and inhaled, enjoying the scent. "Surprise!"

"No..this can't be," Richard said, backing away from the two vampires.

"Poor little man. Did you really think I would allow my town to be handed over to you?" Angelus asked, his tone amused. "I think not. I must admit that I am very glad Faith came to me before your immortality went into affect. I would so have hated having to think up some sort of plan. As it is, you made my life easier."

"You two timing little hussy," Richard said to Faith. "After everything I did for you, this is how you repay me?"

Angelus lashed out, catching Richard's head in his hand. He pulled him back forcefully, his eyes flashing yellow. "No one, I repeat no one, speaks to Faith like that."

"I'm sorry," Richard stuttered. "Maybe we can discuss this."

Faith moved beside them, her eyes yellow and glaring with anger at the man who had controlled her for the past months. "Daddy, I'm hungry."

Angelus smiled, "Then eat, my dear."

They both sunk their fangs into Richard Wilkin's neck, Angelus' hand covering the mayor's mouth as he screamed. They fed, draining the powerful blood from the man. Angelus pulled away when he felt the final life draining from Wilkins. He pulled Faith away, letting the mayor's body drop to the floor. He kissed her possessively, their tongues sharing the blood. Pulling away, he smiled, "One task completed."

Faith laughed, "Shall I mark it off the calendar? Mayor killed, check."

"What am I going to do with you?" Angelus asked, his lips twisting in a smile.

"Let's get Willow, and then I'll give you some ideas and suggestions," Faith said, laughing as she pulled him towards the desk.
