~Part: 1~
"So are you planning anything special for tonight or are you just winging it?" Cordelia asked Willow as the two girls made their way through the Saturday afternoon mall crowd.
"Kinda figured we'd wing it," Willow answered. "Angel doesn't want to make a big deal over it so he made me promise not to do anything. Figured we'd meet up with you and Faith at the Bronze."
"I can't believe Angel doesn't want you to make a big deal out of his birthday," the cheerleader commented. "I mean, how many birthdays do most people get?" Willow shrugged her shoulders.
"Well, I can't speak for most people, but this is Angel 272," the red head reminded her friend. "I can't exactly blame him for not wanting anything special, even if I think he should be happy for everything he's got."
"Like you?" Cordelia teased, causing Willow to blush slightly.
"Well, not me exactly but I'm not going to complain about the fact that Angel and I are together." Willow smiled and shook her head. "You know, even after all this time and no matter how often I say that, I still can't quite believe that Angel is my boyfriend. I mean, I never imagined that someone like him would ever be interesting in someone like me."
"Yeah, well, this past year certainly has proven that life has a way of unexpectedly changing a person," Cordelia stated as she and Willow walked into Fredericks. "Look at me for instance. This time last year, Xander and I were spending all our free time in a closet and now just the thought of the two of us makes me shudder."
"Couldn't have anything to do with the fact that you're involved with Faith or that Xander has gotten involved with one of the most feared vampires in history, could it," Willow pointed out.
"True. Who'd have thought that Xander and Spike would have become a couple." The cheerleader shook her head. "I always wondered if Xander was gay, but damn, even I was surprised by that one although I can't fault his taste."
"Yeah, but you weren't nearly as shocked as Buffy." Cordelia and Willow laughed as they remembered the Slayer's reaction to the changes within the group's dynamics.
"Yeah, well, finding out that her ex-boyfriend and her best friend were dating was bad enough, but then to discover that her other best friend was involved with her mortal enemy," Willow continued. "It just sent her over the edge."
"Didn't help that her mom started dating her Watcher," Delia added.
"True. Talk about wigging out."
"Must be talking about Bitchy," came a female voice. Cordelia smiled as she turned to face the new arrival.
"Faith, what are you doing here," she asked as she gave her girlfriend a kiss. "I thought you were supposed to be training with Wesley."
"Yeah, well, Wussy started bitching about my attitude and my lack of discipline so I just took off," the brunette Slayer explained.
"Oh and that just proves how disciplined you really are," Willow teased.
"Bite me, Red. Or better yet, have Fang do it for you," Faith bit back, grinning.
"Don't even think it Slayer," Willow said playfully.
"Yeah, if anyone bites you it'll be me," Cordelia added with a sly wink towards her girlfriend who wore a huge smirk on her face.
'Promises promises," she said. "Don't make me hold you to that."
"I'm counting on it." Willow rolled her eyes at the two women.
"Goddess, being around the two of you makes me feel like Dr. Ruth is in the area with the way you act," she told her friends, all the while happy that the two of them were together. It had surprised Willow at first when she had originally found out about Cordelia's feelings towards the Slayer but she supported the cheerleader's relationship with the other girl, even going so far as to defend it when Buffy tried to break up the pair. Between that and Willow's acceptance of Spike in Xander's life was the final rift in the fragile friendship between the two girls. Now, the only time that Willow spent with the blonde Slayer was when some research had to be done.
"Hate to break it to ya, Red, but you and Fang are the same way," Faith replied, wrapping her arm around the brunette girl that she loved. "Why do you think we've taking to sitting in the back corner at the Bronze. Hate to give everyone a free show."
Willow blushed as she realized just how accurate Faith was in describing how she and Angel acted when they were together. The two of them were extremely affectionate towards each other and often had to leave their friends early because of where that affection often led. In fact, come to think of it, all three couples were very similar in the way that they acted towards one another.
"Fine, so why don't we all agree that we're nothing but a bunch of horny teenagers and leave it at that," Willow pouted. Faith and Cordelia laughed.
"I'll agree that you, Xander, Faith and I are a bunch of horny teenagers but what are Spike and Angel's excuses?" Cordelia laughed. "Been a long time since they could call themselves teenagers."
"Must be the vampire in them that makes them all affectionate and perverse," Faith commented, again drawing a blush from Willow. Faith saw it and couldn't resist needling the young girl. "So, come on, Red. Dish. What's it like doing a two hundred plus man? I mean, he's gotta have some great techniques."
"You could say that," Willow said mysteriously, not going into details but Faith and Cordelia refused to be put off.
"Oh no you don't, Red, "Faith insisted. "You don't just say something like that and not go into details. I want facts."
"Faith, sweetie," Cordelia put her hand on her lover's arm. "If Willow doesn't feel comfortable enough with us to share the intimate details of her love life with one of the best looking men around, then who are we to pressure her." Cordelia looked over at Faith. "I mean, it's not like we haven't kept anything from her." Willow could see that there was no way that she was going to get out of this conversation so she took a deep breathe and decided to just go ahead and play along.
"I can't believe the two of you are going to make me do this." Willow looked over at Faith and Cordelia and saw that there was no way to get out of talking. "Fine. You want details, you got details. What exactly are you curious about?"
"First off, is he any good?" Willow just rolled her eyes at Cordelia. "Scratch that. We already know the answer. What's the most amount of times that he's ever made you come?"
"In one night or just one act?"
"Both."
"Well, the most times at once was four while the most in one night was twenty."
Faith and Cordelia looked on in shock at the small red head.
"Twenty times?" Faith asked, astonished. "Damn, Fang is better than I thought."
"Okay, color me impressed," Cordelia added on. "Next question. Does he have any fetishes?" Willow thought for a moment before answering.
"Well, one, but you have to promise not to tell anyone." When she saw the two girls nod their heads, she continued. "He kinda has this thing for the Smurfs. He loves making love when there on. Don't ask me why. I think he has a thing for Smurfette."
"Man, I think him and Xander need to get together," Cordelia muttered as she remembered the teen's obsession with the blonde haired little Smurf.
"Anything else." >P?"Well, you mean, other than the leather thing?" Cordelia and Faith's ears perked up at the mention of leather.
"What leather thing?"
"You know, the leather thing." Willow rolled her eyes when she saw the Faith and Cordelia had no idea what she was talking about. "Angel loves to see me In leather. Preferably red or black or a combination of both. So I bought a little leather bustier and mini skirt to surprise him."
"And was he surprised?"
Willow nodded her head, a sly smile forming on her face. "Oh yeah. That was the night of the twenty."
This time it was Faith and Cordelia's turn to blush.
"Let's just say, it was very productive." Faith and Cordelia continued to grill Willow on Angel's talents throughout their shopping trip. The three girls laughed about some of the things he liked to do, but there were a few times that Delia or Faith had to excuse themselves to the ladies room because of what the discussion was doing to them. All in all it was a very interesting day, which promised to turn into an even more interesting evening.
~Part: 2~
Willow was standing in the bedroom she shared with Angel, getting ready for their night out at the Bronze. While Angel had stated that he didn't want anything special for his birthday, especially nothing like a party, he did reluctantly agree to go to the Eighties night that the Bronze was throwing. Willow had even managed to get him to dress in character, Angel having donned a nice pastel suit that looked as if it had come straight off of Don Johnson's character from Miami Vice, complete with shoes and no socks. The only thing he was missing was the sailboat and alligator.
Willow had decided to dress completely different than she figured people would expect from her. She was wearing something resembling an early version of Madonna, before the Material Girl had gone completely overboard on the sex. She had on a skimpy black tank top covered by another top made of sheer lace. Her skirt was extremely short, barely covering what needed to be covered to be considered decent. She had on dangle bracelets and her hands were in a pair of fingerless lace gloves. To complete the outfit, she had on a pair of heeled boots, not completely zipped up.
"You look too good to go out," Angel said, coming from behind the red head and nuzzling her neck with his face. He wrapped his arms around the petite girl, pulling her closer to him. "How about we just stay home instead and entertain ourselves?"
Willow tuned in the vampire's hold and wrapped her slim arms around his neck. "You always want to just stay home," she teased.
"Especially with you." Angel leaned down and kissed Willow passionately.
She leaned into the kiss, intensifying it, before having to break away in order to breathe. "You are definitely all I need for a good time. Why would I want anything more?"
"Don't know but I'm glad to hear that you don't need anything else," Willow smiled. "And, as much as I love the idea of staying here and spending all night in bed with you, we already promised the others that we would meet them at the Bronze."
"They'll understand if we didn't show up," he offered, not releasing Willow from his grip. "Not like they don't have the same ideas themselves."
"That might be true," the teenager agreed, knowing that Faith and Spike were probably doing the same thing as Angel was, "but we're still going."
Angel groaned as he realized that there truly was no way for him to get out of going to the Bronze. Willow smiled gently at the man that held her. "And, if you're real good, I promise to give you a reward when we get home."
"A reward?" Willow nodded her head and watched as Angel's mood rapidly transformed.
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's get going." Willow couldn't help
but laugh at the sudden eagerness that her lover was showing, considering
she was now anticipating their homecoming as well since she knew that she
would have to come up with something special to make up for forcing Angel
to do something he didn't want to do. 'Now, where did I put that leather
outfit?' she thought.
Willow and Angel arrived at the Bronze, only to discover that it was filled to capacity. Apparently every teenager within an easy drive of Sunnydale had decided to go to the nightclub and the outside reminded them of the pictures they had seen of Studio 54 back in its hey day. The only reason they got in was because the bouncer knew them as regulars and ushered them in. The pair pushed their way through the mass of warm bodies, looking for their friends who should already have arrived.
"Over there," Angel shouted, pointing towards the sofas in the darkened recesses of the Bronze. Willow looked in the direction he was pointing and saw the other two couples. Angel and Willow headed in the direction of their friends, parting the other teens in the club, and had to try and control the laughter that threatened to wash over them when they saw Spike and how the blonde vampire was dressed.
"Not one word, peaches," Spike growled, having recognized the look that Angel was giving him. Angel promptly shut his mouth; cutting off the comment that he had at the appearance of his favorite childe, and shook his head. 'Figures Spike would dress like Bart Simpson. Never could do things the usual way,' he thought to himself.
"Interesting look you've got going there, Spike," Willow giggled, not having gotten a reprimand from the blonde for saying anything. The red head then looked over at Xander and took in the way he was dressed. "Nice look Xan. Let me guess. Ducky, right?"
"Complete with shoes." Xander pointed down to his feet where Willow saw his favorite pair of worn out shoes that Xander had had since freshman year when she, Xander and Jesse would recreate their favorite scenes from the Brat pack movies. "And let me guess your look, Wills. Madonna, the early years."
"You know it." Willow then turned her attention to the other pair of lovers in the group, both of who were in similar outfits. "And you're supposed to be?"
"The Go-go's," Cordelia replied cheerfully, while Faith just rolled her eyes.
"Not my idea, Red," the Slayer explained. "I'm still not sure how I let Delia talk me into this. I mean, look at what she did to my hair." Faith pulled at a strand of her long, dark hair and Willow could see the purple and pink glitter that was there.
"Awww, poor Faithy," she cooed. "Got glitter in her hair. Whatever will the little Slayer do?"
"Red," Faith growled, sounding eerily like Spike. Willow just smirked at her as she watched Cordelia pull the other girl closer to her, whispering something into her ear. Faith turned to look at the cheerleader and Cordelia nodded her head in answer to the unspoken question that was between them. "I'm gonna hold you to that, Delia."
"I'm counting on it," the brunette replied, dropping a quick kiss on the Slayer's lips.
"Why do I have the feeling I so don't want to know what they're talking about?" Willow muttered, low enough that only Angel heard her. He leaned in and whispered into her ear, causing her to shudder at his proximity.
"Probably because you have a real good idea of what she said because you're thinking the same thing for when we get home. Or at least, that's what you told me earlier." Willow blushed, turning her face an interesting shade of red as she remembered what she had promised Angel for when they got home.
"And you know I always keep my promises," she snuggled into his arms, deciding to turn the tables on him a bit. "Especially the ones that I can enjoy as much as you."
"Really," Angel quirked his eyebrow at the seductive tone in Willow's voice. He pulled her closer to him, leaning in and giving her another kiss. "So, what exactly do you have planned for this evening. I mean, it is my birthday and all."
"But you said you didn't want anything special for your birthday," she replied innocently.
"I think I could handle a little private celebration with just the two of us."
"Well, well, well, what do we have here? Looks like it's the sick and twisted version of love on the Hellmouth." Every person groaned at the unwelcome intruder into their private party.
"Slayer," Spike hissed.
"Buffy," Angel groaned as they turned to face the irate blonde Slayer.
~Part: 3~
"Hello, Willow," Buffy sneered as she took in the hacker and her outfit. "Looks like we had the same idea. Then again, you do prefer to take things that don't belong to you, don't you. Why should my costume be any different?" Willow looked at Buffy's costume. It was nothing more than a black leather bustier with two large, gold cones that covered her breasts.
"You mean other than the fact that Willow went with the still somewhat wholesome image while you went for the sluttier version?" Faith quipped. Buffy turned on her fellow Slayer.
"Screw off, Faith," the blonde growled. "I wasn't talking to you. I was talking to the tramp that has the nerve to actually think that she could steal my boyfriend and get away with it."
"She can't steal something that wasn't yours in the first place," Angel informed his ex-girlfriend. "You made sure of that the minute you sent me to Hell and ran away from home and your friends. You proved how little you value the people that care about you."
"That's not fair," Buffy cried out, upset that Angel apparently had not yet forgiven her for her actions the previous year. She didn't understand why he couldn't just over what she had done. She didn't see how he could still hold her responsible for what happened. She didn't have a choice when she sent him to Hell. She had to do it in order to save the world.
"Life isn't fair, Buffy," Angel told her. "That's why you learn and move on. So, I would suggest that's what you do." Angel turned his back on the girl that he had once thought he loved and was now trying to remember what it had been that had attracted him to her in the first place. Buffy was proving how self centered she truly was with every attempt she took to break up the couples that had come together in her absence.
"Don't you dare turn your back on me," she snarled, grabbing Angel's shoulder and forcing him to look at her. "We aren't finished. Just because you think you and Willow should be together, it doesn't mean that it's true. I know you love me. Its just stupid spell that she put on you that's making you talk this way." Buffy's voice softened with each word and she tried to convince Angel of what she thought of as the truth. "Think about it, Angel. You were never interested in Willow until you came back. Maybe it has something to do with her restoring your soul. Maybe that's why you think you love her."
"I. Do. Love. Her," Angel spoke slowly and clearly, as he would to a small child that was having trouble comprehending something. "Willow is the other half of me. She completes me."
Buffy shook her head, as if trying to block out Angel's words. "No. I'm your soulmate," she argued. "None of this makes any sense, Angel, can't you see. This has to be something to do with the hellmouth. I mean, how else can you explain this. Come on, we're talking not just you and Willow, but Xander in love with Spike, a merciless killer."
"Why thank you, slutty," Spike grinned, pulling Xander closer to him. "That's a the best compliment I've received all day." Xander playfully hit the blonde vampire on the arm.
"The best compliment?" Xander raised his eyebrow at his lover. Spike kissed Xander before gently nipping at the teenager's ear, causing Xander to moan.
"Trust me, pet. Nothing slutty can say or do to me, compares to what you do," Spike whispered into Xander's ear, making the dark haired teenager grow hard at Spike's words. The vampire chuckled as his lover's need and desire began obvious to him. He lightly petted the bulge that had suddenly appeared in Xander's pants. "Do you want to leave now?" Xander could only nod his agreement as he allowed Spike to lift him to his feet and gather him in his arms. Spike took the opportunity to kiss Xander again, this time much harder and deeper.
"Home. Now," the boy demanded.
"Night all," Spike grinned as he led Xander away from the grinning friends. Cordelia shook her head as she watched her ex-boyfriend in his new lover's arms.
"I don't even know why the two of them even get out of bed," Faith chuckled.
"Probably so they can do it somewhere else," Angel joined in, causing all four of them to laugh. Buffy looked between the two couples, who had obviously forgotten about her.
"How can you just let him leave with Spike?" She demanded. "Remember, Spike. Tried to kill us more times that you can count." She didn't understand how Xander could let himself become involved with the blonde vampire or how the others were so willing to accept the relationship.
"We remember, Buffy," Willow said patiently. "Its just that, with Xander, Spike is different. Besides, the only one he's tried to kill lately is you and that's because you refuse to leave him alone. Maybe if you tried to accept the two of them together, Spike wouldn't feel the need to goad you so much."
"Nah, he would still feel the need," Faith stated. "Its too much fun for him to stop."
"Shut up Faith," Buffy ordered only to have Faith grin at her.
"Kiss off, B," Faith told her. "I'm not some little pet that you can order around."
"If you were, I would put you to sleep," Buffy threw back at her. Faith stood and covered the distance that was between her and the blonde, standing directly in front of the other slayer. "Like I'm afraid of you, F. Try it and see whose the better Slayer."
"That would be me, B," Faith retorted, "and everyone here knows it." Faith turned to her girlfriend. "Delia, for some reason the air suddenly turned very rancid. Want to split?" Cordelia stood up and joined her lover, placing a light kiss on her lips.
"What are we waiting for?" Cordelia said, taking Faith's hand in hers. "Let's go home. Happy birthday, Angel. Talk to you later, Wills."
"Later, guys," Willow said as she watched the other couple make their way out of the Bronze, leaving only Buffy, Willow and Angel. "Well, I don't know about you, Angel, but I think this has turned into a rather interesting evening. Not exactly what I had planned though."
"What, did you plan on seducing him again? Maybe throw in a little spell or two?" Buffy spit out. Angel had finally had enough of the blonde girl.
"I want you to listen, Buffy and listen good," he ordered, his tone sharp. "Willow did not use any spells. This is not some trick of the hellmouth. This is real. I love Willow. I will always love her. And, as for her seducing me, I certainly hope so. And I plan on returning the favor." Angel placed his arm around Willow's waist. "Come on, kitten. Let's go home."
"Good-bye Buffy," Willow said sadly. Buffy tried to make a grab for Angel, to prevent him from leaving, but Angel had anticipated the move and slid out of her arms, causing the blonde slayer to fall on the floor, crushing the two gold cones that covered her breasts and causing the people around her to laugh at her destroyed costume.
"Don't ever touch me again, Buffy, or so help me you will regret it," Angel told her. "Willow is twice the woman you are and ten times the lover." And with that, the last couple left an embarrassed Slayer.
