Love and the Initiative

Part 10

"So, spill, how was it?" Anya asked, causing Willow to blush to a deep pink.

"I don’t think right now is a really good time to get into it, Anya," Willow replied, motioning toward the mirror.

"Oh, please," Anya said, "not like the bitch wasn’t watching or anything. That much was apparent. And I want to hear the dirt. I mean, come on, the man is over,"

"Anya," Willow nearly yelled. She didn’t want to let the people that had them captive to know anything about how long Angel had truly been around. Then they would probably want more answers and be willing to do anything to get them. "If I tell you, you have to promise not to tell anyone, especially Buffy."

"No prob. You know how I feel about that girl anyway, especially since she and Xander refused to help me search for you when you disappeared." Willow looked over at the brunette, sadness crossing her features over the fact that her two supposed best friends hadn’t even been worried about her disappearance. She wondered what that said about her relationship with them. And she really wanted to talk to someone about what had happened with Angel. So what if they were being monitored. Anya was right, it’s not like they didn’t know exactly what had happened.

"Okay, I’ll tell you everything." Willow grabbed Anya’s arm and led her over to the bed, both girls sitting down and making themselves comfortable. Willow decided that as long as they were stuck together, they might as well act as normal as possible. Willow already knew that whatever the Initiative wanted, they were going to be patient about getting it.

"Well, to begin with, you asked how was it," Willow got a dreamy look on her face. "It was fantastic. Better than I ever imagined it could be." Anya got an envious look on her face. While she enjoyed the sex she had with Xander, it wasn’t everything that she imagined it would be. She knew there had to be a whole lot more than what she and the teenager did.

"Well, start from the beginning and don’t you dare leave a single detail out."

"It started when I cut my wrist so that he could feed." At Anya’s look of confusion, Willow explained what she meant. "They did something to Angel so that he can’t hurt a living being. And I bet they did the same thing to Spike if he is still here."

"Bastards," Anya hissed, looking over at the mirror, picturing a very brutal death to those responsible for her captivity. "So, you cut your wrist to let him drink?"

"Yeah, and let me tell you something. It was majorly erotic. And somehow, we aren’t sure how, he went all Grrrr and bite my wrist. I swear I was about to come just from that."

"Really? It was that erotic?" Anya asked.

Willow shook her head, "And then some. Then when he was done we just kissed. Not a little friendly kiss either, but a full fledged passion filled type. The kind that make your knees go weak and all you want to do is fall to the floor."

"Can we say lucky much?" Anya was jealous of just the kiss that she had described. She started picturing receiving that kind of pleasure and was surprised when the man in the vision was a certain bleached blonde vampire instead of a dark haired teenager.

"Well, from there, things kinda progressed." Willow again blushed as she started to again describe what she and Angel had done. Anya hung on every word, envious of the pleasure that the red head had received at the talented hands of the handsome vampire. And the fact that the two of them had been so wrapped up in each other that they had completely forgotten that someone was watching just made it all the more interesting.

"Oh man, I for one, am wishing I was you. That is how I always wished it to be."

"What about you and Xander?" Willow questioned, curious about the relationship between her best friend and the former demon.

"Xander, please, that boy is okay but rather dull," Anya replied. "Never wants to experiment, which is rather surprising if you think about it. I mean, I thought teenage boys, all they ever thought about was sex. Makes you wonder how many of them really know what they are doing."

Willow giggled at the thought of Xander being boring in bed and she found that she could picture it. She remembered the stolen kisses from the year before and realized that the biggest attraction about them was the fact that they were forbidden, not that they were really all that good.

"I’m sorry. Maybe Spike can do something to make your life a little more pleasant," Willow teased, finding that she was actually enjoying just relaxing and giggling like she would if she was back in her dorm room. "I mean, since he was helping you and all."

Anya looked a little embarrassed under Willow’s teasing glare. "Well, not saying I wouldn’t mind a little blonde action myself, but I don’t think that he would be all that interested. I mean, look at his last girlfriend."

"Oh yeah, the insane Miss Dru," Willow shuttered at the memory of the insane vampiress. "Let’s not even go there about that one. But, see, that should be a good sign. I mean, after her, he should be looking forward to someone who has an entire deck of cards in their head. He did help you out tonight, right? He wouldn’t have done that if he wasn’t interested in you."

"Yeah, but that was because he was concerned about you," Anya pointed out. "It wasn’t like he wanted to spend quality time with me. Originally I was going to be dinner."

"So," Willow shrugged her shoulders, "he could have always gone out on his own, but he didn’t. He stayed with you. Gotta say something." Willow then laughed, causing Anya to stare at her.

"What’s so funny?"

"Here were are, being held captive by my psych teacher and Buffy’s boyfriend and we’re talking about hooking you and Spike up and me sleeping with Angel. Only on the hellmouth can something like this happen." Anya joined Willow in her laughter.

"Wait a minute, you and Red did the deed?" Spike said, surprised that his sire had risked losing his soul again. "Didn’t you learn anything from your relationship with the damn slayer?"

Angel was losing his patience with his childe. He had been trying to avoid answering Spike’s questions for the past ten minutes but it was getting to be increasingly difficult. Angel was not in the mood to deal with the blonde but found that he apparently had no choice.

"I’m not going to lose my soul, Spike. It’s permanent," Angel explained, to the shock of the other vampire. "Angelus isn’t coming back."

"So, you’ll always be Peaches, eh?" Spike chuckled, although he was actually happy for the older vampire. Spike didn’t exactly relish the thought of Angelus coming back, considering the way that things had ended between the two of them the last time.

"Spike," Angel growled, warning his childe that he was losing his temper at his antics. Spike just raised his hands up in the air, placating his sire.

"So, how come you and the witch got together?" Spike inquired. "I mean, it’s about time, that’s all I have to say about it."

Angel’s head shot up, as he glared at Spike. "What are you talking about, it’s about time. How would you know what has been going on between me and Willow?"

"Oh please," Spike replied, "I could tell you had a thing for the red head last year when I had her and that moron friend of hers. I hadn’t seen you that worried in a long time. Knew then that you had it bad for her, even if you were still to besotted with the slayer to do anything about it." Angel took in what Spike was saying. (Could it be true? Could I have loved her, even back then? Yeah, I guess I did.)

"Let’s just say things always seemed to be in the way,’ Angel admitted.

"But not anymore?" Spike encouraged. Angel smiled at the younger man.

"No, not anymore. My soul is permanent and the wolf is gone. It’s just the two of us," Angel said wistfully at the thought of the woman he had held just a few hours ago.

"Yeah, well, not until we get ourselves out of this little predicament," Spike pointed out. He was happy that Angel had found someone who accepted him for everything that he was. That was one of the reasons he had hated his sire’s relationship with the Slayer. It made him act as if he had to be ashamed of his vampire nature. Spike knew that Willow accepted everything about Angel, good and bad.

"True," Angel agreed, before deciding to ask about what had been on his mind since Spike had regained consciousness. "What’s going on between you and Anya?"

"I don’t know what you mean," Spike feigned innocence, but Angel wasn’t buying it.

"You know exactly what I mean. Why were you helping her in trying to get information on Willow?"

"I was worried about Red," Spike replied. Angel just looked in disbelief at the blonde. "Oh, okay, so I like the little chit. She’s got this fire in her that just screams out to warm me. And I love her temper. I haven’t seen anyone who could get as angry as her since I first met Darla."

"Yeah, Anya definitely can hold her own in a fight," Angel stated, remembering all his conversation with Willow that had talked about the relationship between Anya and Xander. "But you have to remember, she has a boyfriend right now."

Spike grinned, "Not necessarily. Apparently the moron and the slayer pissed her off because they didn’t believe her when she said that something had happened to Red. She wasn’t exactly happy with them. Actually when I ran into her she was considering hitting both of them over the head with something quite painful. Doesn’t necessarily put a relationship on good terms, if you know what I mean."

"Yeah, I do," Angel replied, remembering how many times he had felt that way towards Buffy. "Just don’t hurt her, or I’ll hurt you."

"I promise, Peaches. I won’t harm her, but that goes for you too. Don’t do anything to Willow that will make me have to stake you. Her and Anya are the only two out of the entire scooby gang that are worth the air they breathe."

"That they are, Spike. That they are."
