One month later - Angel's apartment.

Willow replaced the handset and stared at the phone.  Angel entered the room and smiled at her.

"It won't ring if you keep looking at it."

"It just did.  I've just finished talking to Xander."  Willow attempted a smile.

"Oh."  Angel considered this for a minute.  "What did he say?"

"A lot.  He's calmed down a bit.  He says he's okay with us now."

"And yet you don't look happy."  Angel moved over to her took her hand.  He led her to the couch and sat her down.  "Do you regret leaving
Sunnydale?  Coming to live with me?"

"No.  I miss everyone, but it was the best decision I ever made."  Willow stroked his face, her touch conveying reassurance.

"So you're just a bit homesick?  We can go back and visit.  Cordelia wants to visit as well."  Angel smiled at her, and bent forward, his lips
brushing hers.

"Well...you see...that's  kind of a problem."  Willow was hesitant.  "Buffy sort of said we can't go back."  Willow looked utterly miserable.

"Buffy said what?"  Angel jumped up and began pacing the floor.

"She told Xander to tell us that if she sees us in Sunnydale, you're dust."

"Who does she think she is?  She can't control our lives.  Who we love, where we go."  Angel ran a hand through his hair.  "We'll go back to
Sunnydale whenever we want.  You tell me when you want to visit, and visions permitting, we're there."

"I love you."  Willow's words were enough to sooth him.  "You're right.  Buffy has no say in our lives."  Willow stood and wrapped her arms
around Angel's waist.  She tilted her head back, and their lips fused as anger and love melted into passion.

"Shall we go and do something else that would make Buffy angry?"  Angel questioned.

"We shall."  Willow took his hand and led him into the bedroom.
