"Ms, is this your stop?" the bus driver asked for the fourth time.
Willow stood on the last step frozen. <What am I doing here?> she thought.
"Ms?"
"Um yes it is, sorry." Willow replied as she walked off. It was noon,
the sun almost blinded her as she walked. <Okay I'll just make sure
Angel's okay and then I'll go back.> she told herself. At six in
the morning she had this unbearable sick feeling that something was
wrong. By seven she was on a bus back to Sunnydale. All the way she
was telling herself that this was ridiculous, that if anything was
wrong someone would have called her. She was supposed to be moving on.
Two years should have been enough time. <Who am I kidding? An eternity
won't be enough time.> she thought walking towards the mansion.
The door was unlocked; Angel didn't need worry about a burglar.
Willow walked up to the bedroom, opening the door slowly. Angel was
asleep. She slowly crept up to the bed. <He looks fine, so I can
leave now.> Her body didn't move despite her reassurance. She needed
to touch him. Reaching out with one finger, she traced his cheek and
smiled, loving the cool feel of his skin.
Angel's eyes flew open. He grabbed her hand and pulled her
onto the bed and rolled on top of her. His game face was on and was
snarling at the intruder.
"Angel it's me." Willow said, a little frightened now. Angel's
game face melted off and now he was just staring at her. <Oh Goddess
he still sleeps naked.> she thought.
"Angel." she said again, touching his shoulder. Willow raised
her head to kiss him. It was a hot, deep, kiss. Willow could feel his
hands moving up her body, and she shivered in anticipation. He
helped her take her dress off and unhook her bra, her panties were
off five seconds later. He lifted himself up a bit to see all of her
naked flesh. He seemed transfixed somehow, as if seeing her for the
first time. Willow mistook this for hesitation and tried to slide out
of the bed. Angel growled and pushed her back on, kissing her at the
same time. His tongue explored her mouth as his hands cupped her
breasts and began to fondle them, teasing her nipples. Kissing and
licking the skin of her throat, down to her breasts, then going down
her stomach and stopping at her thighs were he gently parted them.
Angel took a moment to smell her arousal, making his erection even
harder.
His tongue caressed her clit slowly, making her want more. Willow
was writhing she couldn't take it. She got up and kissed him while
her hand trailed down his cock. She straddled Angel and lowered
herself upon him, riding him wildly. Angel clutched her thighs and
drove himself deeper into her. His game face was back on and this
time Willow wasn't afraid. Cutting his neck and biting her, they fed
from each other at the same time, making their orgasms all the more
intense.
Willow collapsed on top of him as Angel's arms encircled her
waist. She kissed his chest and began to drift off to sleep.
"Can I ask you something?" Angel asked kissing her forehead.
"Sure" Willow said.
"Who are you?"

It was only through the use of their link did Willow realize that
Angel wasn't joking.
"Angel, I'm Willow." she said. Saying her name didn't help him at
all.
"You know, Willow? Best friend to Buffy and Xander,
computer nerd, your mate!" she said. Angel shook his head. "Sorry."
he said, trying not to offend her.
"Hold on here. Are you telling me you just made love to a
total stranger?" Willow practically yelled.
"I can't describe it. I * feel* like I know you but I just
can't remember. And I know we are mates, I can feel that connection."
he said, holding her tighter as she tried to get up.
"Doesn't that bother you at all?" she asked.
"Fang, you up there?" Faith said, not bothering to wait for an
answer, she barged right in seeing Angel and Willow. Faith stared
for a few seconds obviously shocked then she smiled.
"And here I thought all you did was brood all day. No wonder B's
never been able to get anywhere with you." Faith said. She walked
right up to Willow and stuck her hand out.
"Hi, I'm Faith." she said. Willow covered herself with one hand and
with the other she shook the brunette's hand.
"I'm Willow." she said shyly.
"Aren't you supposed to be in school?" Angel asked, irritated.
"I could ask the same thing of Red here." Faith countered. Her
slayer instinct told her that Willow wasn't a vamp or demon but there
was something about this girl.
"Why are you here Faith?" Angel asked.
"We have to have our meetings here from now on. Principle Snyder is
beginning to get suspicious about our extra curricular activities.
Your lucky I stopped by early, it would ruin your lonesome warrior
image if everyone saw you with Red." she said, picking up the dress
from the floor and handing it to Willow.
"Thanks. When are the others coming?" Willow asked.
"After school, which will be pretty soon." Faith answered.
"Buffy and the others will tell you who I am." Willow turned to
Angel.
"You know the Scooby gang? They never mentioned you." Faith said.
"Buffy never mentioned me, not even once?" Willow asked hurt.
"All she ever talks about is how great she is. Or why oh why Fang
doesn't want to be her. If she only knew the reason." Faith said with
a smile.
"You aren't with Buffy?" Willow asked Angel. It was the whole
reasn she left in the first place. <Well it's really a good thing
considering we just had
sex.> Willow thought.
"Why would I want to be with her? She's a whiny brat."
Angel said.
"How do you know the gang?" Faith asked, sitting on the bed beside
Willow. She already liked her.
"I was one of them." Willow said.
"You're kidding. I haven't even seen you in school before."
"I'm not a student any more. But I can prove it. Go back to
school and get a yearbook there's a picture of Buffy, Xander,
Cordelia and me." she said.
"Yeah Faith why don't you go back to school." Angel said. He
wanted to be alone with his mate. Faith threw him a look and left.
"She's only slightly less annoying than Buffy." Angel said.
"I like her. When did she join the gang?" Willow asked.
"Faith is a Slayer, Kendra's replacement"
"Two Slayers in Sunnydale? How is Buffy taking that?"
"Not very well. She is constantly belittling her and lecturing on
how she is the "real" Slayer. Don't worry, Faith gives back as good
as she gets." Angel said. Willow smiled
"I imagine she does." Angel smiled also. Then Willow began to
put her clothes back on, he frowned.
"You asked me before if me not remembering you bothered me. Well it
does it bothers me a lot to know that you were mine and I was stupid
enough to let you go." he said getting up to kiss her.
"Hey dead boy Oh my god there's a girl in Deadboy's room!"
Xander shouted. Immediately, grabbing the attention of Cordelia,
Giles, Jenny and most of all Buffy. They all came rushing upstairs.
"Who is this?" Buffy demanded to know pointing right at Willow.
Angel pulled Willow back down on the bed. He nuzzled her neck and
then looked at them and grinned.
"My mate".

"Your WHAT!" Giles, Jenny, Xander, Cordelia, and Buffy screamed in
unison.
"Does she know about your grr grr vamp thing?" Cordelia questioned
recovering first.
"Don't any of you recognize me?" Willow asked looking at all of
them.
"Should we?" Jenny answered.
"Guys it's me Willow." She got no reaction from them.
"I can prove I know you. You're name is Jenny and you're engaged to
Giles but you hate the way he always dresses in tweed. You're
Cordelia and you're going out with my friend Xander and you actually
think his Snoopy dance is cute, and Buffy you're my
best friend." Willow said.
"How does she know about the Snoopy dance?" Xander asked
Cordelia.
"I know about it because I * know * you all." Willow said.
"You know all this because you are some kind of demon. You
couldn't get a boyfriend of your own so you stole mine!" Buffy said
angry. She had tried everything she knew to get Angel to just smile
at her for the last two years, * nothing * had worked.
"Buffy, that theory is a little extreme." Jenny said.
"It is not! She put a spell on him. It's not like Angel to show
affection." Buffy said.
"You mean it's not like Angel to show affection for you."
Cordelia corrected. Finally somebody had come to knock Buffy of her
pedestal of self-delusion. Cordelia didn't care if girl was a demon.
"First of all, Willow is not a demon, she is human and she is
my mate. And second I am not nor will I ever be you boyfriend." Angel
said.
"Well it's obvious that Willow knows stuff about us. The question
is how?" Xander asked.
"I told you why. Doesn't anyone believe me?" Willow
said.
"I do Red." Faith said coming from the door holding a yearbook.
"Faith did you see my picture? It's there right?" Willow
asked.
"Sorry Red, there's nothing in here on you but I still believe you."
Faith said.
"See not only is she a boyfriend stealing demon she's a liar
too." Buffy said, trying to prove her point.
"Use your Slayer instinct B, she feels human. And she wouldn't
send me to look through something that she knew didn't have her
picture of her. Nobody's that stupid, well, maybe you." Faith said.
Before an argument could start, Giles stepped in.
"Buffy it's getting dark, why don't you patrol?" he said.
"Why can't Faith do it?" Buffy whined.
"Because I asked you to." Giles said, pulling his Watcher's
authority over her.
"Fine. Don't think you've won." Buffy said to Willow as she left.
"I'm going to the library. Perhaps there is supernatural
explanation for this." Giles said. Even though this ordeal was
strange he didn't think Willow was a threat.
"There always is." Jenny said, leaving with him. <I need clothes.>
Willow didn't know what made her think of it now, but it was true.
She didn't bring anything with her. The second she had the feeling
that something was wrong with Angel, she left.
"Um, Cordelia, Faith, could we go shopping?" Willow asked.
Cordelia's eyes brightened.
"I like you already." she said and pulled her out of the bed
along with Faith.
"Wait, I'm coming." Angel said. "Mr. Bad ass vampire is
coming shopping with us? Wow Red, you're already a good influence on
him." Faith commented.

<How did I get stuck with all the bags?> Angel wondered watching the
girls in front of him. He was sure that they had beaten Cordelia's
old record, hitting all of Sunnydale trendiest stores in a two-hour
period. It was a good thing Xander decided to go help with the
research. He would have never survived it.
"Oh, the Victoria's Secret store. We have to stop here."
Cordelia said and Faith agreed. Dragging in Willow they entered the
store. Angel sat in the corner, watching his mate choose from a
variety of underwear, her choice was the plain cotton kind. Faith
shook her head and Cordelia lead her somewhere else Angel couldn't
see. He could feel through their link she was feeling tired. <This
will be the last stop. Willow needs rest.> Angel thought.
Willow. That's what she said her name was. In five hours this
girl had managed to completely turn his world upside down, and have
him loving every minute of it. Ever since his soul had returned (an
occurrence which had yet to be explained) Angel felt incomplete. As
if a part of him was missing. His demon felt it also more restless
than usual demanding something he couldn't name. That name was
Willow.
Using his heightened senses, he could hear the girls
conversation.
"Willow you have to wear this. It's so you." Cordelia said.
"Yeah Red, Fang won't be able to resist you in this. Not that he can
now." Faith said.
"I don't know, it's not something I would usually wear." Willow
protested.
"Just buy it. If you don't wear it, fine. But incase you change
your mind it will always be there." Cordelia said. She had been
arguing for almost every piece of clothing so far. Whenever Willow
would even start to go near anything loose or fuzzy, Faith or
Cordelia would effectively block her path, and then divert her
attention to something more daring or at least something that would
fit.
"Okay." Willow said. She just wanted to go. The brunettes
smiled and lead her up to the cash register where Willow pulled up
Angel's credit card. He insisted on paying for everything. Seeing
that they were ready to leave, Angel got up to pick up the bag.
"Mom, Dad?" Willow ran out the store. Shelia and Ira were
across the street admiring a desk at an antique store.
"Mom, Dad it's me!" Willow said. They didn't turn around.
"Mom." Willow said again, grabbing her hand.
"Will you kindly let go!" Shelia said.
"You don't remember either?" Willow cried.
"Dear, I think she's emotionally distressed. Listen miss I could
recommended some good therapists.." Ira was talking but Willow wasn't
listening.
No one remembered her. There was no physical proof that she was who
she said she was. It was like she never existed.
