"Willow," Angel greeted, stepping out of the stacks and into the main room of the library. The redhead's eyes widened, and he couldn't help but grin. "All alone in the library?" he asked, raising his eyebrows.

"No, I'm not," she denied, looking back to her computer screen and trying to ignore the feeling of Angel's eyes on her. Giles choose that moment to exit his office and save Willow from further embarrassment; the librarian placed a book down next to Willow's keyboard.

"Could you cross-check anything you find with this," he asked, indicating the book. Willow nodded her ascent, carefully avoiding the urge to look up at the vampire leaning on the library railing. Giles, however, did look up. "Angel," he greeted coolly.

"Giles," Angel replied, nodding his head. After the niceties were over, Giles stormed back into his office and slammed the door shut behind him. "He doesn't like me, does he?" Angel asked innocently; Willow just glared up at him. He smirked and jumped over the railing; he landed with a bang on top of the table, causing Giles to poke his head out of his office to make sure the Hellmouth hadn't just opened up. "Sorry," Angel shrugged, and the Watcher sighed dramatically, slamming the door shut again. "He has anger issues."

"How much coffee have you had tonight?" Willow hissed, rising to her feet.

"One cup," he grinned; Willow raised her eyebrows. "Alright, five cups." He shrugged again. "I need some liquid courage, and I've already finished all the liquor Spike left behind."

"Well, at least you're not bouncing," she muttered under her breath. "And at least you haven't moved beyond hyper."

"Wanna bet?" he grinned, and Willow let her eyes trail down his body.

"Oh, God," she sighed, closing her eyes and trying to get her body under control.

"Most women have that reaction," he nodded in understanding.

"Get off that table before some sees you," she hissed, looking over her shoulder to be sure Giles was still safely oblivious in his office. Angel crossed his arms and shook his head 'no', "Get down, now, before Buffy comes in here wondering what I'm doing with her boyfriend."

"Ex-boyfriend," he corrected, hoping off the table to stand next to her. "She sent me to hell; I'm pretty sure you don't do that to someone you want to date." He reached over and touched the pale flesh of her neck; she repressed a pleasurable shudder.

"No!" she ordered, shrugging away from him and turning her back to him. "This is so not happening." Angel quickly walked over to her and wrapped his arms around her waist, pressing his body against hers; Willow shifted slightly and bit her lip as he pressed his erection against her.

"Do you know what's after this stage?" he asked softly. She closed her eyes and shook her head. "Satisfaction," he purred; Willow's eyes flew open. She pulled out of his grasp.

"I can't do this," she explained, hurrying out of the library. Giles opened his door just as Willow slammed the library doors open.

"What is wrong with her?" he asked, glaring at the vampire sitting calmly on the table. Angel shrugged.

"Probably stress," he nodded.
