~Part: 1~

Willow had been working at the library computer as usual.  She was still nervous about Oz.  She had a date with him.  She had a date with a boy.  He was cute, Willow admitted he didn't have the tall, dark and handsome profile that she dreamed of, but he was cute.  And he was in a band.  Did I mention he is in a band, Willow thought to herself.  He was smart, he liked her and he was in a band.  That was something Willow never expected.     She was glow-y as Buffy had told her.  Willow smiled.  Her mental wanderings stopped when Buffy and Angel had returned from a patrol.  Willow had made a note to tone down her glee factor as not to increase Buffy's Greek tragedy factor.  She exhaled and  put her happy voice on. "Anything interesting?"

"Yes, at Dercy's Clearing.  I found an altar to Onnonda." Angel spoke.

"Huh?"

"Onnonda.  She is the one who rights the wrongs." Giles said.

"Is she evil?" Buffy asked.

"Not at all. There are things that should happen and don't.  And things that happen that were not supposed to happen but do. Onnonda is called upon to fix things.  But references to conjuring her are rare at best. "  Giles explained.

"Who would summon Onnonda?" Willow asked.

"I am not sure.  Onnonda is a temporal being, her calling affects the time line of things.  She is not known to listen to the calls of humans.  We are considered but some beings, a rather. whiny. species." Giles mentioned.

"I'm not whiny." Cordelia said.

"The first question here would be who feels wronged?" Xander asked.  He then looked around the room.  " That part could take a while."

"Do you smell something?" Cordelia asked, her eyes darting to Xander.

"Hey, I had my shower today." He playfully countered.   All eyes turned to the doorway to see the silver mist permeating into the room.   Then Cordelia spoke. "Fire?"

"No, the smoke is different." Faith said

Willow jumped up from the computer and in the process inhaled deeply.  Then she fell into a deep slumber. Angel went to her side and soon met her fate as well.

Galway, Ireland  1762

"Jolene..." The voice whispered.  He wrapped his arms around her.  He smiled at the girl who stole his heart.

The girl smiled at him. "Liam... if your father were to see..."

"His mind is tied up with his books."  He smiled at the girl, loving the sparkle in her eyes.  He gave her a chaste kiss on her freckled cheek.

"I know, but it is wrong, Liam, I am but a servant." She said, her eyes threatening to tear up.

"Not to me, you are far better than some wench or servant girl."

She giggled. " Ahh Sweet Liam, the stories are all over town about your conquests.  I am saving myself for marriage.  I shall not be led astray."

"Jolene, my sweet.  I would marry you this instant."

"Liam.." She said, sweeping a long lock out of his face. "Your father would not approve. 'Tis rumored that you shall take the Milligan girl as your bride. I shall not be a kept woman."

"The Mulligan girl is a whiny thing. She shall bear nothing but misery.  It is you that warms the fires of my heart.  We can leave here, take a ship, be together..."  Liam said, pulling her into his embrace.

"And where would we go, my Liam, I have no family to take us in.  How can we live if we have no land for crops, no shelter from the rain?  How shall we live? I have no desire to work in the tavern, giving old drunken men relief from the misery of their loves.  I know it hurts my Liam,..."  She then looked away, knowing that her heart would end up breaking no matter what.

"I have arranged a priest to marry us. I would not let you work in that kind of place and you know that. We can head to the New World, leave behind this place."

"Liam?" The red head spoke up, her eyes watered.

"Come away with me.  We can make this work."  He wiped a stray tear from her eye and kissed her gently.

"I'll gather my things." She whispered.

They took off in carriage to the next town over.  True to his word, they became married.  He took her in the barn that night.  Jolene moaned as he removed the layers of clothing she wore, as if revealing treasure.  He loved how her skin flushed as he touched her.  Her fingers twined with his hair as his hands touched her breast, making her moan with delight.  His mouth left hers and latched onto her nipple, his tongue swirling it in his mouth.  She began to move against him, anxious to relieve the tension building inside her. He grinned and took her hint.  He then exposed more of her skin, taking his time to touch her flat stomach. His tongue found her bellybutton.  She moaned and dug her nails into his shoulder.

He grinned and kissed her deeply.  She then rolled onto him.  She whimpered as she felt his need pressing against her.  He took her time with his chest as he had done with her.    She leaned forward, dangling her red tresses over his bare chest.   She felt his fingers touching his hair.  She knew he loved how the strands just curled around his finger.    He then rolled them back so he was on top of her.   He quickly removed her clothes, desperate to feel her warmth as he took her.  He held her tight and slowly went into her, knowing she had never been with a man before.  He knew his size even left some novice girls a bit tender.    He held her through the tears and kissed her, declaring his love for her. He made love to her completely.

~Part: 3~

Sunnydale, CA, Present Day

Giles noticed that Willow and Angel were moaning. He also noted that the smoke, which quickly dissipated, had affected no one else, just them. It can't be good, he reasoned.    Buffy and Faith stood transfixed to the spot, mesmerized by the whimpers coming from Angel then Willow.  Giles was glad that whatever slumber the fog had induced, it lifted.  Angel woke up and looked at Willow. "Jolene?"

"Liam???" Willow said.  Both were unaware that everyone else was staring at them.

"What just happened?" Xander asked.

"It was so real." Willow whispered. Then grabbed her head, as if willing the fog that settled to completely dissipate and return her to normal.   Oz took that moment to walk in.   He did his sniff thing and looked at Willow.  "What happened?"

"Who's Liam?" Faith asked.

"It was my birth name." Angel said quietly.

"Ohh.."

"And Jolene?"  Buffy asked.

"Someone I knew a long time ago." Angel said his eyes dimmed as the feeling of sadness washed over him.

"I was her.  I saw. I mean I can remember..I'm confused." Willow said.

"Tell me about her." Buffy asked.  Angel picked up on the unease he felt coming off from her.

"Jolene was a servant in my father's house.  Our second.  Anna, our first servant, had died from a fever.  Jolene was related to her. " Angel said, without revealing too much.  He never took his eyes off Willow.

"Was she pretty?" Buffy asked.

"She was Irish, red hair green eyes." Willow said.

"Just like you, except Jewish not Irish." Cordelia pointed out.

"Ok.  It was fun to reminisce but what just happened?" Xander asked.

The group had begun researching the connection between Onnonda and the mysterious fog.  Willow was thankful that Faith had filled Oz in on what he missed. Willow's mouth felt dry.  The air seemed to be getting thinner.  She looked up at Angel.  She saw him looking at her, both lost in memories.  " I need to get some air." Willow said.  She got up and left. She didn't even looked to see the expressions on anyone's face. She made a dash for the women's room. She was splashing cold water on her face. She jumped when she heard the voice.

"You look so much like her." Angel said. "I really didn't notice it before, but you remind me of her. She had more freckles. I'm sorry.  I'm rambling, I think."

"You were married?  To her?"

"I was.  We kept our secret safe for about two months.  She changed me.  To win her heart, I stopped drinking and whoring around.  Even took an interest in my father's business."

"What happened?"

"My father found out.  He was furious. You are well aware of the reputation I had with women back then..."  Willow answered him with a blush.  " My father had caught us together.  He accused me of corrupting our servant.  I told him that I loved her and married her.  He said it changed nothing.  The dowry had already been accepted and I was the wed the Mulligan girl in five days."

"But you were married?"

"Yes.  In those days, if the father forbade the marriage, it didn't happen.  My father arranged the annulment with the local bishop, who was in my father's debt. Her family was not of good repute.  Her mother worked in a whorehouse and her father was a married man.  Since there was no dowry, there was no marriage.  He sent her away.  I looked all day and night to find her.  But she was gone.  She left behind the necklace I gave her as a wedding gift.  I fought with my father all day.  My mother said nothing.  I left that night.  I went out drinking, trying to drown my sorrows.  It worked. I met Darla that night."

Angel noticed Willow was crying.  He felt bad; he didn't want to make her cry.  "Liam, I feel terrible. It's so sad.  She loved you with all her heart. I felt it.  I can remember your smile."

"You look so much like her, like my Jolene."

"What do we do?"

"I don't know." Angel said.  He pulled her into a hug.  It was the not so subtle clearing of the throat that startled them.

" If I didn't know better, I would say you both look guilty." Cordelia said.

"Now is not a good time." Angel said, with a little more menace in his voice.

"Why did you save her?"

"Huh?"  Willow asked.

"With the 20 questions routine from Buffy." Cordelia said, giving Angel her DUH! look.

"It's a long story."

"Condense it." Cordelia said.

"Jolene was a girl I loved."

"Ok.  What is it with you and the tragic love stories?" Cordelia said and walked away.

"That was kind of painless." Willow said.

"You said; you had her memories."

"Some of them."

"What is the last thing you remember?"

"The wedding night."  It was Angel's turn to blush. Willow just gave him a sly smile.

"She was incredible. No other woman made me feel so complete as I did with her."

"We should get back in there." Willow said.  "I need these images to go away."

"What images?"

"Us... I mean Jolene and Liam. having happies.lots and lots and lots of happies." Willow said, a little breathless at the end.  Angel tried not to notice the dreamy look in her eyes.

"I know what you mean." Angel sniffed her.  " I can smell your need from over here.  You have her eyes and her hair."

"Really?" Willow asked in a hopeful sort of way. Angel then leaned into her.  His lips placed a gentle kiss on her forehead. He became overcome with emotion and broke down.  He just held her tight, trying to control the need to break down in tears. Willow wasn't sure what exactly to do.  She played with his hair and mumbled a tune that she had never before heard in her life.  She felt his struggle, one more way his past had caught up to him.  He looked up at her, touched the side of her face. "She was so smart.  In those days women weren't educated.  It was frowned upon. But she asked so many questions.  I taught her to read, to write.  She had a knack for drawing.  She taught me to draw."

"We need to head back in there.  Come over after everybody goes home.  We talk more then.  Liam... Angel. we need to figure out why this happened. I have no regrets about it, about knowing you so. intimately."

Angel smiled. With that they headed back in.  Buffy was giving her way too happy that they were back smile. "So far we know that Onnonda was definitely involved, the type of mist confirms it, as well as that only you both have been effected. " Giles told them.

"Next question. Why them? "  Cordelia asked.

"I don't know." Giles offered.

"He really didn't hang out with Willow.  He was into the Buffster. " Xander said.

"Yeah, he and Buffy are freaks of nature, no offense." Cordelia said.

"None taken." Buffy said.

"Didn't Red restore his soul?  I mean that has to somehow link two people.  Or maybe in some past life they were like soul mates."  Faith asked, as she wolfed down the king size Snickers bar.

"That might be." Giles said, his mind working quickly.

"Faith is right.  I remember Jenny told me that she said the old woman's pain was lessening before he got too happy.  I do have a connection to him, I gave him back his soul. Plus my resemblance to Jolene."  Willow mused.

"I forgot about that."  Giles said his eyes cast down.

"But the re-souling thing that was just a spell." Buffy said.

"Yes and no.  The wording in the spell is clear that the castor is bound to the person they cast it upon." Giles said.

"So what we are saying is what?" Xander asked.

"It means that in a very odd way we are connected.  If he were the intended source, I would feel it. Just like if I were the intended source, he would feel it."

"This is creepy."  Buffy said.

"You have no idea." Willow softly said.   She then grinned at Angel.

"Well we know the whole Buffy/Angel, curse thing all too well." Cordelia said.  "That is so wrong..."

"For Buffy's sake I agree." Giles said.

"Well you have been wronged." Xander said.  Giles nodded.  Everyone knew about the hope of love that died with the teacher, but no one had to heart to say it.

"I think it was Jolene who was wronged." Willow said.

"But she is dead." Xander said. He then looked at Angel. "No offense, unless you ate her."

"Xander!" Willow said, punching him hard on his arm. She felt vindicated when she heard his "oww".  Faith grinned.  She winked at Willow.

"I never found her.  I looked for her." Angel said.

"But she was just a servant?" Buffy said in a very clueless way.  Angel's temper got the better of him, since the tone she used was the same tone his own father dismissed her.

"Jolene was more than servant girl, she was also my wife." Angel said defensively.

Buffy blanched and mumbled an "oh".  Willow spoke, her curiosity getting the better of her. "If you did find her?"

"As Angelus, I would have hurt her.  I am glad on that level I never found her."

"So now what?" Cordelia asked.

"I have more research to do.  Perhaps it is best if we call it a night. Besides, the books I need are not here anyway."  With that the group left.  Buffy walked Xander home and Angel walked Willow home.

"I am sorry that the secret is out."  Willow said, knowing that Angel's past was never the topic of the day, at least not in a good way.

"Its ok.  You are right. She was wronged.  I loved her, right up until the end I loved her." Willow then stopped walking and turned to face Angel.

"I know I can feel it." Willow spoke softly.  Her hand touched the side of his face.  Without even realizing it, Willow kissed him deep. Angel responded to the kiss immediately.  He gently brought them against a tree.  His hands were playing with her hair.  Willow moaned as she felt something pressing into her stomach.  She felt his hand near her breast, stroking it through the fabric. Willow moaned out Liam's name as he touched her.  Willow found herself getting wet, aching to have him inside of her.   She rubbed herself against him, needing a sweet release.  His hands knew how to touch her nipples.  His mouth descended upon a breast, loving it through her shirt. He felt her body twitching.  Soon Willow came hard.  Angel looked at her.  He saw the confusion in her eyes.  He also felt her desire for him.

He let up on her, slowly allowing her feet to hold her body up. Her heartbeat was rapid.  He saw the way her skin flushed in the moonlight.  "Angel... ohh wow. "

"I'm sorry I wish I knew what happened. You kissed me...I couldn't help myself."

"Was Jolene frisky after the wedding?" Willow asked.

"Oh yes, she was a feisty lover." Angel said.

"I wish you would have warned me about that." Willow said.

"It's been sometime since I thought of her." Angel said.  They walked home the rest of the way in silence the most comfortable silence.  Angel made sure she got home safely.

~Part: 4~

Willow watched him leave out her bedroom window.  She still couldn't believe that kiss.  She knew how wrong it was, but she wanted him like never before.  She tried to sleep but in her dreams she saw Liam and felt his passions.  Willow moaned as she tried to shake the dream.  Willow found her hand taking care of her needs as she felt the sensations of being made love to.  She finally wore herself out and fell into a more restful sleep.    She was dreading going to school today.  She smiled when Oz had sat down ad the lunch table.   He looked at her funny.  It was making Willow crazy. "Did I grow a third eyeball?"

"No, you smell different."

"Oh. Ok."  Willow.  Willow went through her day and looked forward to going to the library.  Maybe Giles could help.  She knocked on his door.   He smiled as he saw her.  "How did you sleep?"

"Good, except for the porn going through my head." Willow said, and realizing what she said blushed.

"Porn?" Giles asked, not really sure of what to make of it.

"The adventures of Jolene and Liam." Willow said.

"Ahh..Has Angel been experiencing these dreams?"

"I don't know. I haven't talked to him today." Willow said.

"I think you were right about Jolene calling Onnonda forth."

"But she died two hundred years ago."

"I know, but her soul may have.  You mentioned you have memories of hers."

"Yes, I feel like I have known Liam, I mean Angel my whole life.  I can remember nursing him from hangovers. I remember the fights he had with his father.  It's like I have my memories and some of hers too.  And let me tell you that was one riled up girl. Sorry, I think she had that lack of tact thing go on at times."

"I don't mind it.  Perhaps we can keep that from Buffy." Giles said.

"I don't think she'd like to the see their adventures.  Did you know its possible to have wild sex while horseback riding?" Willow shook her head. "I need to go home, or do something that is non-talking.  I can't keep talking this way. It's... naughty."

"I agree, about the horseback thing." Giles said giving Willow a sly grin.  He then put her to work finding out more about what was happening.  All was quiet, until Willow opened her e-mail.  She gasped. Giles heard her furious mumbling. He then heard a more furious hitting of the keys on the pc. "What is the trouble?"

"This e-mail." Willow said pointing top the screen.

"Technopegan8215@yahoo.com?"

"That e-mail account belonged to Jenny.  I traced the e-mail, but yahoo says its not a valid address.  Then I ran the IP number.  The IP number is her classroom, my classroom.  I tried authenticating the e-mail through another program I have, but it doesn't exist."

"Enlighten me?"

"Ok.  For any e-mail type of message to travel it has paths.  The IP address is from where the message was sent. The IP address was her old IP address, from the computer that Angelus wrecked before he killed her. This is strange.  If this is someone's idea of a sick joke.." Willow said, her temper threatening to get the better of her.

Buffy then came into the library. "Giles, I had this strange dream."

"Go on."

"It was about Jenny.  She was telling me about the curse.  She then gave me a parchment and some sort of spell book.  When I woke up this CD-ROM was on my nightstand."

"This makes a little more sense then.  I got a phantom e-mail from Jenny."  Willow tried opening the disk, but it was password protected.  Willow opened the e-mail.  It contained one word. "Ripper".  Willow then typed in ripper and the disk opened up for her. Willow read the details to permanently anchor Angel's soul.  Willow also found a file for Giles, one for Angel, one for Buffy and one for herself.   Giles began pouring over the file entitled spell book. Buffy's file was printed out.  It was a twelve-page letter saying all that she wanted to say.

Angel's was also printed.   Willow noticed the way Giles had commandeered the PC.  She was bringing him into this century; it made her smile.  She looked up and saw Angel looking at her.  She felt her knees get weak. Buffy was reading her letter, wiping away her tears. Willow went over to her friend and hugged her. Angel was reading his letter on the other side of the library.   Xander noticed the somber mood.  He wanted to ask who died, but somehow felt that would not be appropriate.

Giles had shown him the letter Jenny had left for him.  Willow then went over to Angel.  She could tell he was upset.  "What is it?"

"She forgives me.  The tribe does as well.  This was sent to say I have earned forgiveness.  She said that you have to ritual to make my soul complete."  Angel said looking at her with awe. "It said my past has caught up with me."

"That might be why Jolene was sent to me.  She told me. It's gonna be okay, Angel."

"It might not be.  For the ritual, he needs someone to willingly bind his or her souls.  A bond sealed with blood." Giles cautioned.  Everyone then turned to look at the blonde slayer.

"Don't look at me." Buffy said.  "No offense, but I am not the on-the-menu kind of girl."

"I thought you loved him." Willow said.

"I do, but it could never be the same, too much bad things happened between us. I can't, I'm sorry. "

"I'll do it." Willow said.

"I couldn't feed off you." Angel said.

"You won't be draining me? Would you?"

"No, the ritual doesn't require that much of a sacrifice.  However, you will be committed to him on another level." Giles said.

"I think I can handle it. I mean the home movies in my head get me up close and personal with him as it is." Willow said.

"Home movies?" Xander asked.

Willow sucked in her lower lip.  Angel grinned. "She has my Jolene's memories, of the wedding night, the horseback riding, under the waterfall in the rain ."

Willow's eyelids fluttered and she let out a not too soft moan, that every heard.  Then she did the typical Willow thing; she blushed.  "Too much information!" Xander said.

"So Giles will they end up lovers only minus the angst and he keeps his soul?" Cordelia asked.  The way that sometimes they beat around the bush drove her crazy.

"Yes, actually." Giles said, opened his mouth to say further and then shut it.

"Are you willing to do this, Willow?" Xander asked.

"Yes. It makes sense since I gave him his soul in the first, I mean second place."

~Part: 5~

Willow was nervous.  She dressed in a long skirt, with a peasant blouse.  She had gathered the necessary ingredients.  Willow had reread the text, making sure not to forget anything. Since her "introduction" to Jolene, she had been thinking about the changes she was going through. This would be a big change.  She was all too familiar with Buffy's feelings towards Angel, even the ones she wouldn't admit.  Buffy was her friend, her savior of sorts.  She prayed that she would not lose that friendship when all was said and done.  She could feel Angel near her, almost as if he could sense her hesitation.  "Are you sure about this?"

"Yes.  Jolene made me a believer in you." Willow said. "Plus I have a vested interest in this."

Angel smiled.  "You do?"

"Yes.  If that soul were to disappear, my life would get very complicated or very simple."

"You are right. " He then kissed her forehead.  "There is a strong chance we could end up lovers."

"We nearly did once.  Besides, I have seen and, yet never experienced, just the kind of lover you are." Willow said.

"Do you want that?" Angel asked.

"I do." Willow said.  Angel then pulled her into a deep kiss.   Angel then lit the candles.  Willow closed her eyes and began to focus.   She amended her curse with ease.  Then all she felt was Angel.  He was on top of her, his body pressing hard into hers. Willow moaned as he began to trail kisses down her neck.  Willow locked her fingers in his hair, loving the way he felt against her.  Willow lifted her hips up to Angel.  His hands traveled up the blouse she was wearing.  She whimpered as Angel touched her.

Angel slowed his groping down.  Some part of his mind remembered that Willow was still a young woman.  If they were to become lovers he needed to know that she wanted him for him, not because of Jolene's memories. Willow also noticed the change in his movements. "Angel?"

"Yes Willow."

"That was wow." Willow said.  Angel pulled her half naked form next to his.  Willow moaned as she felt his lower body temp.  It made her nipples even harder. "If you don't want me.."

"I do Willow. I just think we should slow down a little bit."

"If you say so."

"I know that you are young, impressionable.  I think Jolene left one hell of an impression on you.  I just want to take things slow.  I need you to want me, because you want me.  Am I making sense?" Angel asked.

"Perfectly." Willow smiled.  That night she slept with Angel, the sleeping kind of sleeping with.  She was glad Angel had put the brakes on.  She could believe her first kiss, with tongue, was only a few days ago.  She took a shower and began to get ready for school.  She woke Angel up to tell him she was going to school. He kissed her goodbye and in the process copped a feel.    Willow grinned and headed to school.

~Part: 6~

Willow was having a good day.  She smiled as she ran into to Faith. "Rough night?"

"Not really, Faith." Willow said.

"Just checking up on you. B was wicked rage last night on patrol."

"Is she mad?" Willow asked.

"She has issues, but she isn't mad at you.  So how is Oz?" Faith asked.

"He was in physics class this morning. Why?"

"Did you and he?"  Faith then made an obscene gesture with her hands.  Willow laughed.

"No we didn't. Why?"

"Just curious.  He seems cool, even with the werewolf thing."

"That is his Oz-ness." Willow said with a grin.

"He's cool.  So no test drive then Red." Faith asked.

"Haven't been on any test drives Faith.  But I am getting the hard sell from Angel." Willow said, grinning.

"Hard, huh?  I think Oz is pretty cool, most do-able. I just wanted to make sure it is cool with you."

"I have no problem with it, but Oz isn't the test drive kind of guy. Devon is.  Oz wants at best a lease."

"That scares me. I mean most guys, they just want to hit and run."

"Oz isn't like that. He's loyal and caring.  My advice, be friends with him, then work the booty angle." Willow said.

"I guess Jolene isn't so uptight huh?"

"She said what was on her mind. I like her."

"She rubbed off on you."

"She definitely made an impression."  Willow said. "So Faith, why the sudden niceness to me?  You haven't been too chummy before."

"I know.  I guess I got so wrapped up in the awe that is being chosen.  I mean here was my big chance to get pointers from the champion slayer.  Plus you seemed way too."

"Nerdy."

Faith winced. "Yes, I guess.  But then I realized you had some moxie to you, I though I should take another look."

"Thanks. We five by five?" Willow asked.  Faith grinned.

"We are." Faith hugged the redhead and walked her into the library.

~Part: 7~

Angel woke up when the sun went down.  He looked to the other side of his bed.  Then he remembered she was in school.  His demon wanted to claim her last night. He knew that she needed to fully understand what was involved in the claim.  He wanted her so bad last night, but he knew it might be too soon.   He deeply inhaled, savoring in the fragrance that was uniquely Willow.  He knew he would find her in the library.  He took his time heading there.   He stopped by the jewelers.  He saw the sterling Celtic knot necklace. He bought it for her.  He wanted to get her the cross, but he knew that she was Jewish and it could burn him.

He took his time heading to the library. Sure enough, she was perched at the computer.  He walked in.  He noticed the grin Faith shot him, as well the looks on other faces.   The group had made small talk and decided to patrol.  One group was Faith, Angel and Willow.   The other was Buffy, Xander and Oz.    Both groups found trouble.  Fortunately, all the vamps became dusted.  Faith could feel the tension between Willow and Angel.  She wanted to tell them to get it over with; they would feel so much better.   Back at the library, Faith noticed they stayed close to each other.  She also caught some book stack smooches. She grinned, tapped Willow on the back and whispered to get a room.   She then emerged from the stacks as did Willow and eventually Angel.

The group voted to hit the Bronze, since patrol was successful.  Faith mentioned something about post-patrol angst she needed to work off.  Angel asked Willow to dance for a slow song.  That was trouble. Even though the tempo had changed, they held each other still.  "Angel, the song changed." Willow mumbled.

"I know.  It just feels good to have you in my arms." Angel said.

"Me or Jolene?" Willow asked and walked away.

Faith noticed the exchange.  She twisted herself off the dance floor. "Red!" she called out. Willow turned to see who call her. "Wait up."

"What?"

"You ok?"

"Yes. No. This is too much." Willow said and collapsed on the pavement.  Faith immediately pulled the girl close to her.  She heard the others coming. She shot them a look and they left. "What's wrong?"

"Its not me he loves. It's Jolene."  Willow said and began to cry.

"Willow, let's get you home." Faith said.  Willow nodded and they walked home in relative silence.

Faith waited until Willow had calmed down.  Her heart went out to Willow.  She understood that Buffy could be a hard person, and the fact that Buffy had purposefully chosen both Oz and Xander for last night's patrol versus Willow hurt the witch deep. Faith had didn't care who she got her violence on with.  She wanted to fight.   The sound of cold water took Faith from her thoughts.  She saw Willow emerge from the shelter of her bathroom. "I don't know about that."

"About what?" Willow said, sniffled and then blew her nose in a very ungraceful manner.

"I have seen how he looks at you, pre-Jolene.  Willow you gave him his soul. That has to mean something."

"But what?"

"I remember when Gwen came to town.  She had the glove.  He made sure you were safe before anyone else."

"Buffy is a slayer. She's faster."

"I am too.  But he only looked at us after he covered you.  I have seen how he looks at you Willow.  He doesn't look at Buffy that way."

"Yeah he gives her the puppy dog eyes."

"But you, he gives you bedroom eyes. I have seen him undress you more than once." Faith said.

"Yeah right."

"Listen, I have a lot of experience with guys, trust me. It's you he wants."  Faith said.

"I want to believe that, but he's what all the girls want; tall, dark, handsome, slightly dangerous.. What I am? Research girl?  Entry-level wicca? Hacker?"

"If I am not mistaken, you are the one who gave him his soul, and made it permanent.  You gave him the ability to love without hurting innocent bystanders. He understands you have given him something money can't buy? " Faith said.

"I guess I did." Willow said, and then loudly sniffled.

"Well you mean something to him, he is outside your window.  Well there is a vamp there; I think it might be him.  Should we check?"

"What if its not him?" Willow asked.

"I'll kill it for you." Faith said with a grin and stuck her head out the window.  Willow smiled at her new close friend.  Faith got up and looked. "It's him.  You two need to talk.  Without me would be better I think."

Willow laughed. "Send him up." She then took a deep breath.

There was a knock on the door.  "Come in."

"Areyoualright?" Angel asked, worry clearly evident.

"Yeah. I just."

"It's awkward at times, confusing.  I feel it too. It's been over a century since I thought of her.  I won't lie to you and say she didn't leave an impression on me.  She isn't alive anymore, only in memories."

"I get that part."

"I care deeply about you Willow, I love you.  This is one of the reasons I want to take things slow between us."

"Name one thing about me that makes you crazy for me." Willow asked.

"The way you get focused on a task, especially during research, the way the laptop lights your face.  The way that one piece of hair keeps falling in your eyes and drives you crazy.  The way you seem to know you hit pay dirt.  Then there is the way you hold the old texts, careful not to injure them.  Shall I continue?"

"No.  Kiss me." Willow asked.

"Anytime you want." Angel pulled her close to him. The soon to be lovers didn't see the happy smiles of a certain slayer and watcher peeking in.

Faith had smiled.  Giles ended up meeting her there. Giles had found some things to tell Willow in regards to her bond with Angel.  He was surprised to see Faith, peeking in, like some pervert.   She then told him of the angst that they hit.   "You are quite a wise girl."

"I try."

"Sometimes I underestimate you."

"It happens. I am sure thought that you would much rather undress me." Faith said with a grin.

"Faith." Giles said, clearly at a loss for words.

"Sorry, post patrol, I get riled up." Faith said, looking away.  No matter which way you cut, rejection sucked.

"Really?"

"Yeah.that make me strange?" Faith asked.

"It was never mentioned in any of the other slayer's journals."

"Well, if you think about it, they might not have known what to make of that, randy-ness.  I mean, were slayers ever sleeping with their watchers?"

"Hard to say.  There are hints in various journals of a more than mentor relations, but I am sure the council would be against it. Why?"

"Diane and I were lovers.  She helped me deal with my post patrol urges.  I was just curious."

"I might be a tad old for you."

"I don't think so. " Faith said and kissed him.  She let her tongue slide slowly into his mouth, making him moan.   He pulled her close to him, holding her tight.  Faith broke off the kiss panting. "Home. Yours or mine?"

"Mine." Giles said.  He pulled her close for a second lip-bruising kiss.

~Part: 8~

Willow woke up late that day, panicked and realized it was Saturday.   She felt something else in her bed.  She smiled as Angel held her.  She felt well rested.   She turned her head to look at him.  His eyes were closed and he looked sleeping.  She did find it disturbing that his chest didn't rise and fall. But he wasn't cold per se either.  She did admit to being a closet Anne Rice fan, until she met the real deal. Her eyes became open.

She smiled when he mumbled in his sleep, pulling her closer to him.   She felt wanted, needed and even cherished.  That was what she felt when he opened his eyes and looked at her. "Hey sleepy-head."

Angel smiled. "What are you thinking about?"

"You.  You have three very distinct personas, all rolled up in one.  Very interesting, if you ask me."

"Do they scare you?"

"Angelus does, a little bit.  But he fascinates me at the same time."

The vampire smiled. "My demon cares for you. He sees in you the potential that no one else sees.  To him, your innocence makes you even more attractive.  My demon understands that you would kill to protect him as he would kill to protect you.  He wants you as much, if not more than I do."

"I thought your demon would hate me."

"Why?"

"I gave you the soul." Willow said.

"I admit, the demon wasn't too thrilled about it, but ever since vamp Willow came here, my demon has been looking at you in a whole new light."

"And that would be good?"

"Very."

"Ok.. I was wondering." Willow said, looking away. Angel cupped her chin and brought his lips to hers. They began kissing.  Angel positioned her on top of him, letting her feel him against her.  He took his shirt off.  He took her hands and placed them on his chest.

"Be curious..." Angel huskily whispered.  Willow smirked. She let her fingertips travel over his nipples lightly.  He moaned.  She then let her fingertips make circles around his nipples, one clockwise, the other counter-clockwise.  She felt the vampire writhe underneath her.  Willow felt powerful in that moment.  She licked her lips.

"Do you like this?" Angel asked.

"Like what?"

"Being in control?"

"It's nice." Willow said.

"I want you to set the pace.  I don't want you to feel pressured or rushed."

"I feel you." Willow said then gave him a quick kiss.  She rubbed herself against him, loving the way he felt against her.  She smiled, walked her fingers up his chest, then dug in, she felt him jolt up against her.   The moan he made, let her know, he liked it. If Angel wasn't already dead, he would have died and thought he went to heaven, the way Willow was touching him.   She smiled as she flipped her head, running her long hair over his chest.   He couldn't resist her. His arms reached for her. Willow whimpered. "Touch me."

He did as she told him, his long arms easily removed her shirt and bra, exposing her breasts to his lustful eyes.  Willow threw her head back as his fingertips lightly stroked her nipples. Willow was gasping, whimpering and moaning with his every touch.    His other hand wandered over her heat.  Willow lifted her hips, allowing his hand to touch her.  Willow nearly jumped off him when his fingers brushed against her clit.

"Do that again.." Willow whispered.

"It would be easier without your clothes." Angel whispered before bringing her lips to his for a deep kiss.  Willow moved so he could undress her.    Willow found herself grinding against his fingers, aching to relieve the pressure building within her.  "Need you."

Angel then positioned her under him.  He kissed her deeply.   "Are you sure?"

"Yes. please." Willow pampered.

Angel positioned himself at her entrance.  "I am going to go slow, it will hurt for a second, but I promise, you will enjoy everything I will do to you."

He slowed pressed into her.  Her heard her gasp.  He brought her lips to his. He gently kissed her.  He murmured that he loved her.  He kept still inside her; not wanting to either hurt her or lose the wonderful sensation of being inside her.

Willow then pressed her hips up, indicating she wanted more.  Angel found he couldn't stop touching her, everywhere, anywhere.  The intimacy of being this close with another person overcame him. Willow also felt overcome, her body was not used to being loved. Her orgasms blended into each other.  She was only aware that he was with her, he loved her and wanted her. Both lovers lost track of time and fell into a blissful sleep.

Willow felt the warm rays of sunlight on her face. She felt Angel's arms around her.  Then she shot up. She looked at Angel, who was instead of going up in flames, sleeping soundly.  "Angel. the sun..."

He registered her warning.  He got up, and looked at his hands, he wasn't burning. This wasn't possible. Then she looked around. "Angel when were there two suns?"

"Where are we?" He asked nervously.

"I have no idea. " They looked, not really sure in what direction.  They saw the couple walking to them.

"It's her." Angel whispered and pulled Willow close.

"Who?"

"Jolene."

"Welcome, Angelus and Willow." A very young, very innocent looking man said.  Willow couldn't believe she was looking at Angel, as a human.

"What is happening?"

"Corrections. You see, Liam and I were to leave, to the New World.  His father found out.    I was sent away.  I was put on a ship by his mother; given some coins and told never to come back.  It turns out that I was destined to give birth later that year, twin girls.  Twin slayers.  I died before they were to be born."

"We were never destined to be vampires.  Because of the wiccan's sacrifice, we can now be together and we have waited for so many years now.  We are in your debt. Onnonda has anchored both your souls.  You, wondrous witch, are like ... him... now, immortal. Only losing your head will kill you. "

"Silly Liam, I can tell you didn't heed yet again. Angelus also will now be allowed to bask in the light of day, and he too must watch his head.  Stakes won't kill you now, only the loss of your head.  As time progresses vampire, you shall shed your vampire nature and like your mate, become immortal, under the service of Onnonda.  Blessed be to you both..Come Liam.. We must go."

With that both Willow and Angel woke up.  They held each other.  They had no idea what would happen in the future, but they knew they had each other, no matter what.
