Katrina slammed the vampire into a wall. "Where is he?" She hissed.
Katrina pulled a dagger out of her boot, she slowly slid it across the
vampire’s
neck. The vampire was nearly delirious with desire for blood. "I-I
don’t kn-know." He stammered out. Katrina pushed the blade deeper. "For
the last
time. Where is Angelus?" The vampire groaned as the blade continued
to cut deep into his flesh. Katrina slit his throat deep, than when his
body was
drained of blood she let him slide to the ground. "Catherine!" She
called out. Catherine walked over from where she had been fighting two
other
vampires. "What is it Kat?" Kat wiped the blade across the dead vampire’s
chest. Than stuck the blade back in her boot. "Angelus’s minions are more
loyal than we had thought." Catherine smiled, her blonde hair shining
in the moonlight. "Than the harder he shall fall." Kat smiled. "That he
shall sister
mine, that he shall."
Willow woke up gasping for air. What was this strange dream about? Why
did she dream about Angelus, Catherine, and Kat? Who were those people?
And what did they have to do with Angelus? Was Angel in trouble? Willow’s
heart tightened in fear. What if Angel was going to die? She couldn’t let
that
happen. It just couldn’t.
Giles noticed Willow looking rather sleepy. She was nodding off, her
head lying on Spike’s shoulder. "Willow." Giles called softly. "Red. Watcher
wants to
talk to you." Spike shook the redhead gently. She was one of his closest
friends, and he was worried about her. Giles continued to frown as Willow
just
lay there rather drowsily. What was wrong with her?
Angel woke up in a cold sweat. Why did he keep seeing her? He ran his
hand through his hair, causing it to stand up in spikes. Knowing that he
wouldn’t
be able to get back to sleep, he got out of bed and pulled on his pants.
His door flew open. "Damn Delia! Don’t you knock?" Angel yelped. Delia
stopped
dead. "Sorry Angel. I thought you were still sleeping. Gunn wanted
to see you." Gunn walked in. "Hey man I need your help." Angel nodded and
followed
him out of his room. Angel grabbed Delia’s arm. "I’m sorry Delia. I
didn’t mean to yell at you." Delia smiled. "It’s okay. But you can pay
me back by no
brooding tonight. There are lots of other things you could be doing
with your time."
"Like what cheerleader?" Spike drawled. Angel glared at his once favorite
childe. "Spike. What the hell do you want?" Spike glared at him. "Something’s
wrong with Red." Angel took one step closer to him. "What did you do
to Willow?" Spike glared back. "Nothing. She’s always tired now, but she
keeps
talking about weird dreams. Something about Angelus and cats. Don’t
have a bloody clue, but she’s real sick." Cordelia cut in. "Spike why do
you care?"
Spike glared at the cheerleader. "Because Red is my friend, and if
she dies that that means I have to put up with Slutty moping over her bloody
soldier
boy leaving all by my bloody self."
"Riley’s gone?" Cordelia asked. "Yeah. The bloody slayer kissed me.
I still feel like throwing up. The stupid jerk tried to take me out, than
he got pissed
and left. Bloody good to. ‘Cept now the fucking slayer is bugging me."
Spike stopped to let the information sink in. "Joyce may have cancer. And
with
Willow sick, and with her boy toy gone, Sunnyhell is getting in rough
shape. So I got sent to ask for your bloody help." Angel looked at his
childe. He
knew that Willow and Spike were friends. But the fact that Buffy was
single again didn’t affect him the way he though it would. "Let’s go Cordelia.
Gunn?"
He called out. "Yeah?" The street-wise hottie answered. "Want to come
to Sunnydale?"
Willow sighed. She and her friend Tara had been going trough the books
for hours, and they still had nothing o the mysterious dreams Willow was
having. Than Willow heard the sound of a car door slamming. Spike walked
in, pissed as hell. Angel followed him in. Than he stopped and gave one
of
his rare smiles to Willow. Willow jumped up and hugged him. "Oh my
god you’re alright." Angel hugged her back. Delia walked in and sat down
beside
Spike. Gunn followed them in; he stopped dead when he was Tara. His
mouth dropped open. Tara was equally stunned to see Gunn. "Hi. I’m Tara."
Tara introduced herself. "Gunn." Gunn sat down beside her. "So what
is going on here?"
Giles walked in to hear Gunn’s name. "Hello. I’m so glad you all could
make it. It seems Willow here has been having dreams of a peculiar nature
recently." Willow smiled sheepishly. "I think I found a spell that
may help. It will allow me to show you the dream." Giles nodded. "So we
shall do this
spell."
Willow sat in the middle of the circle. She could hear Giles chant
something in the background, than she was falling through the mist.
Kat lay on the field, starring up at the sky. A shadow fell across
her face. "Oh William. Go away." William lay down beside Kat. "I’d rather
lay with you my
pretty kitten." Kat rolled her eyes. "I wonder…" William looked at
her. "I wonder what it would be like to no longer see this." She waved
her hand to
indicate the sky. "To no longer have the sun’s warmth." William propped
himself up on one elbow. "Thinking of Angelus again? Should I be jealous?
Perhaps you would rather lie with him."
"Perhaps I would." Kat smiled at her oldest and dearest friend. The
bugle sounded for the start of the archery contest. "I do wish I could
have entered."
Kat saddened. "I wish I was a boy." William looked Kat up and down
his eyes lingering on her breasts. "I prefer you as a girl." Kat jumped
up, and began
to walk away. William followed her. "Kat I was just joking. Kat, please,
Kat!" Kat untied her horse, Starlight better known as Star. William grabbed
her
arm as she started to mount; she fell and landed on top of him. She
was lying on his chest, staring into his eyes. He pulled her head down
to kiss her.
Kat closed her eyes and let the kiss wash over her. Star whinnied.
Kat pilled back and stood up.
Catherine walked up to the two friends. "Mother is looking for you
Katrina." She turned her gaze to William. "I didn’t notice you their William.
You look
ever so clever today." William bit back a groan. He did detest having
to be civil to Catherine. But he knew that Kat would be annoyed with him
if he were
rude, besides, maybe Kat would let him kiss her again if he was civil.
His body reacted to the thought of kissing Kat. God how he loved her. Only
a few
more weeks till he could ask her to marry him. Than, he was never gonna
let Kat leave his side ever. They would always be together.
