Part 6

"Wills, you have to calm down," Xander said gently.  "You won't be
able to help him if you don't."

"Willow," Angel hissed.

"I'm here," Willow said.  She knew that Angel needed blood, so she
cut her wrist and put it in front of his mouth.  "Drink."

Angel recognized the smell of his mate's blood and didn't take too
much.  His chest felt like it was on fire.  Buffy must have dipped
the stake in holy water.

"Little One, are you all right?" Angel moved her wrist from his mouth
with a kiss.

"She's not the one with a stake sticking out of her chest, Deadboy,"
Xander cracked.

Angel realized that Xander was trying to calm Willow and was
grateful.  "Well, then, I guess she's all right."  Angel grunted as
Cordy hit a bump.

"Sorry Angel," Cordy said, pulling up at the mansion.  "Can you walk
or do we sit here until Faith and Buffy show up?"

"I can walk," Angel ground out.

The three teenagers managed to help Angel into the mansion and into
bed before Buffy showed up.

Cordy walked over to Willow, "How are you doing?"

"I'm fine," Willow said.  Willow took a deep cleansing breath and
moved over to the bed where Angel was laying.

"Xander, get him some more blood.  He'll need it.  Cordy, could you
get me a towel?"  Willow laid her hand on the stake that was still
protruding from Angel's chest.  "Ready?"

"Yes," Angel ground out grabbing a handful of the black silk
bedspread.

When Cordy handed Willow the towel, Willow pulled on the stake with
all her might.  The stake came out with a sickening slurping sound.
Willow held the towel against Angel's chest to stem the flow of blood.

"Here," Xander said holding a cup of warm blood to Angel's lips.

Willow was busy using her magic to heal the gapping wound in Angel's
chest, not paying attention to what was going on around her.

"What happened?  Who did this?" Cordy was flying questions off at
Angel trying to find out what had happened.

"Buffy," Angel growled.

Part 7

Everyone in the room glanced at the door from where the gasp had come.

"What do you mean Buffy?" Cordy hissed, "How did that happen?"

"It was an accident," Buffy whined.

"Oh, right, Angel just tripped and fell on your stake," Cordy snapped
at the blond.

"That's not how it happened," Buffy tried to defend herself.

"Right, and?" Cordy glared at Buffy.

"It's Angel's fault, he got in the way," Buffy cried.

"Oh, yeah, because he does that so often.  I can just see it, vampire
puts himself in front of the slayer with a stake."  Xander stood from
the bed glaring at the slayer.  "I wonder how many times he has done
that."

"Good thing your aim's bad, B," Faith said coming up behind the
blond.  "Or you would dusted your own boyfriend."

Angel let out a low growl, "Stop, please."

Willow turned back to Angel.  "Do you need more blood?"  Willow knew
he did but with Buffy standing there she couldn't show how much she
knew about vampires, or this one in peculiar.

At his nod, Xander left the room with a mumbled, "Got it."

"You can all leave now.  I'll take care of him."  Buffy crawled in
bed beside Angel.

"After you almost turned him into Mr. Big Pile of Dust?  I don't
think so," Cordy snapped.

"I didn't mean to," Buffy yelled, hitting the bed with her fist,
causing Angel to moan again in pain.

"Oh, right, just like you didn't mean to hurt him just then," Cordy
yelled back.

"Get out, Cordy.  You are no longer welcome here," Buffy glared.

"No," Angel growled, then reached out for Cordy's hand.

"Stop it, both of you.  This is not helping Angel at all," Willow
said.

"And just who are you to tell me what to do, Angel is mine," Buffy
turned on Willow.

"I am the one that is trying to save his life.  Would you like me to
continue or do you want to yell at me some more," Willow shouted.

Buffy had decency to look down and nod, "Continue."

"Thank you, now could you move so Xander can give him the blood?"
Willow pulled the towel up and felt his chest to see if the hole had
started to close yet.  It was still there.  She laid her hands on
Angel's chest and started to chant.

They all watched as a blue glow formed over Willow's hands and seemed
to seep into Angel's chest.

When Willow raised her hands from Angel's chest it was healed with
only a slight pinkish scar where the stake had been.

Willow raised her gaze to look at where Angel's head should be and
smiled, then she passed out on top of him.

Part 8

"Willow," Xander and Cordy cried.

Angel wrapped his arms around Willow before she could fall, and held
her to him.  "Will?"

"Wake up, Willow, you know you are just trying to get attention,"
Buffy snapped.

Everyone in the room turned to stare at Buffy as if she had lost her
mind.

"Buffy, I think you should leave," Angel stated as calmly as he
could.  "I'm fine now, and you still need to finish patrol."

"But I don't want to leave you, honey," Buffy pouted.

"Give it a rest, B," Faith rolled her eyes.

"Why is everyone treating me this way?  I haven't done anything,"
Buffy whined.

They all just stared at her.

"Angel put Willow down, there is nothing wrong with her."  Buffy
reached out to poke the red head.

Angel rolled suddenly despite the pain and moved Willow from Buffy's
reach.  "I think we all need some rest, Buffy."

"Fine, why doesn't everyone leave and I will take care of you," Buffy
said brightly.

"I think you have done enough for one night, Buff," Xander said from
beside Cordy.  "I mean after you staking him I don't think he needs
any more of you taking care of him."

"Xander, I said it was an accident!" Buffy yelled.

"If all you can do is argue, leave," Angel growled, staring straight
at Buffy, he understood about Xander.  The boy was upset because of
what Buffy had done and Xander wasn't really trying to start a
fight.  He was just letting the slayer know that they weren't going
to leave Angel.  And Angel understood that, but Angel wanted the
slayer out so he could find out about Willow.

Finally deciding that the only way he was going to get rid of her was
to make her leave.  Angel let go of Willow and stood.  Leading
everyone out of the room.

"Now Buffy, as you can see I'm fine and don't need you to take care
of me.  You can leave," Angel said while, opening the door for Buffy.

"I'm not leaving if they're staying," Buffy hissed indicating Xander,
Cordy, and Faith.

Angel glanced over at Xander and Cordy and nodded.

"Fine, let's go, Xander," Cordy snapped as she grabbed Xander's arm
and pulled him out of the mansion.

Faith followed them out.  "Get better."

The minute everyone was out of view Angel watched Buffy move over to
him and wrap her arms around his waist.

"I'm glad that you're not hurt too bad," she whispered.

Angel stared down at her head not moving to hold her.  "Well, I would
have been better if you hadn't gotten angry when I refused to . what
was it . cuddle with you?  And staked me."

"Oh, come on, I didn't hit anything vital.  I knew what I was doing,"
Buffy said while smiling up at him.

"That's right, Buffy you did.  I think it would be best if we didn't
see each other for a while, if this is how you are going to be."
Angel removed her arms from around him and backed up.

He indicated the door with a nod of his head.

"Fine if that's how you're going to be about it," she snapped,
rushing out the door.

Angel managed to get the door closed and leaned against it for
support.  Watching as Xander came in through the back doors and
walked up to him.

"You all right?" Xander reached out to put his hand on Angel's
shoulder.

"Blood," Angel gasped.

"Right," the boy smiled and walked off.  "Cordy will be back soon."

Angel looked up when he felt Spike enter the mansion.

"Faith knows," Spike said.

Part 9

Angel shook his head making his way over to where Spike was.  "Later,
first Willow ."

"Is fine," came a soft voice from behind Spike.

Spike spun around, and had to catch the girl in question when her
arms flew out.  "Sorry, luv."

Angel watched Willow closely, she wasn't moving right.  Where had her
confidence gone?  Then Angel realized what the problem was and took
her hand and led her to the couch to sit with him.

"Did I hear you right Spike, Faith knows?"  Willow was having trouble
finding where Spike was standing since Angel moved her.

"You heard right, Red."  Faith came back in through the courtyard.

Willow's head snapped to where the new voice came from.  This was the
part she hated, not being in control of her sight.  With her emotions
on overload and her exhaustion from killing those vamps and healing
Angel she wasn't able to pin point the colors down.

Spike sat on the couch beside Willow and she jumped. "Don't do that,"
she hissed.

"Willow," Angel said, as he laid a hand on her thigh.  "Calm down,
everything's all right now."

"How can I calm down?  That bitch almost staked you!"  Willow kicked
out at the table she knew was in front of the couch but missed, but
ended up hurting her leg.  "Ouch," she whispered, trying not to cry.

"Willow, I'm fine."  Angel smoothed.

"What really happened?  I felt you upset, then all of the sudden,
shock and pain."  Spike looked at his sire.

"Let's just say that it wasn't the accident she claims it was.  She
knew what she was doing."  Angel skirted around what really happened.

"You mean she did it on purpose?"  Cordy walked back into the room
with Xander.

"Yes," Angel stated.

"Well, if that's the way she wants it.  I say we start the plan,
now."  Willow sat back on the couch and leaned against Angel.

"Willow, Faith is here," Cordy said.

Willow smiled, looked at where Cordy's voice came from.  "You two
ready to become vampires?"

Part 10

Willow sat in Angel's lap as they waited on Angel's new childer to
wake up.  Spike was over in the corner keeping a close watch on the
slayer, who was sitting in a chair beside Willow.

"This is your plan?" Faith reached out and fiddled with the edge of
the chair.

"There's more, but this is the start of it."  Willow looked over to
where the voice was coming from.  She was still having trouble
seeing, but it was starting to get better.  "If you patrol with Buffy
tomorrow, act surprised when you run into the vampires turning them."

"Then what?"  Faith glanced back over to the two lying on the bed.

"Then, if all goes right, Buffy will demand that I give them back
their souls."  Willow smiled.

Spike snickered from the corner.  "Won't she be in for a surprise?"

"That's the idea," Angel spoke for the first time since turning the
two teens.

"Then it will be my turn," Willow stated, smiling up at where she
hoped Angel's face was.

"But, what I don't understand," Faith committed.  "Is why you three
want your souls."

Willow turned back to Faith, "We have no desire to kill the
innocent.  Well, except Buffy, but I don't consider her innocence.
And if we have our souls we won't.  We will just feed.  Not kill."

Angel stood and sat Willow back in the chair, and left the room.

"What's wrong with him?"  Faith looked to Spike.

"His soul is bothering him," Willow whispered.  "I was hoping this
wouldn't happen."

Willow heard a noise and realized that Cordy and Xander were waking
up.  Glancing in their direction she smiled and waited.

Willow felt Angel come back into the room.  Now she understood why he
had left.  He could feel that they were waking up and went to get
them some blood.

"Mmmm," Cordy moaned, opening her eyes.

"Here, drink this," Angel said softly.

"Stuck in the body of a teenager forever," Faith stated.

"Oh, I think I can handle it," Cordy replied around her newly
acquired fangs.  "This talking will get some getting used to though."

They all laughed.

"But you will never be taken seriously as a teenager," Faith finally
got out around her laughter.

"We will be by those that count."  Xander woke up and took the blood
that Angel was holding out to him.

"Yes and the family is all that matters," Willow whispered.

Cordy got up and moved over to Willow, kneeling down in front of
her.   "And how are you doing?"

"I'm not going to break Cordy, you don't have to worry so much about
me," Willow said softly.

She was finally getting the colors under control and she could see
the outline of Cordy's aura.  Willow reached out and caressed the new
disfiguration on Cordy's face.

"No, you won't break," Angel said.  "But you can fall if you aren't
careful."

"Spike, do you have the two picked out that will be sacrificed for
this play?"  Willow turned to Spike, not bothering to comment to
Angel.

"Yes, they will rise tomorrow," Spike stated.

Willow tilted her head and stared at Spike.  He was watching Xander
and his aura kept wavering.  What's that?  Willow smiled as she
figured out what the problem was.

Spike wanted Xander.

Well, Willow would just have to talk to Angel about that.  She didn't
see any problem with it and knew that Xander wouldn't.  But Angel was
their sire, and would soon be hers as well.
