~Part: 1~

As Angel drove, Willow looked out the window, watching the trees whip by as they passed. She couldn’t believe they were going back to Sunnydale. It has been years since they left and now she and Angel were driving from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania back to Sunnydale, California. It was all because Buffy begged every year for her to come back for Christmas, even though she was Jewish.

During their last conversation Willow had slipped and told Buffy she knew where Angel was and ever since then the slayer would always ask Willow if she had heard from Angel as no one else had and could she ask him to come back for Christmas. Of course she heard from him because he was on top or under her almost every night.

After ten years everyone had decided to meet for a ‘Scooby Reunion’ as they called it. This trip wouldn’t be so bad if in fact no one else beside her and Angel knew about their relationship.

“Are you sure you want to go?” Angel solicited. He could hear her heart racing and her body temperature rise. If they weren’t in the car he would have sworn that she was turned on but it was more like the smell of fear.

“Yes, it’s about time everyone knows our secret,” Willow turned and looked at him. “I know she will be hurt but it’s been ten years.”

“Don’t you think that they are going to know that something is going on when we pull up at the motel, at the same time, in the same car?” he questioned.
Willow looked over to Angel. “I told Buffy that you are going to pick me up from the airport in Sunnydale and bring me to the hotel.”

Angel chuckled. “Okay good cover but what about the room? I am not sleeping in a different room.”

“Please Angel, it’s only for three nights,” she pouted with her puppy dog eyes. “Please,” she whispered seeing he was going to say no.

He released his right hand from the wheel and touched her face making Willow close her eyes from the feel. If she knew nothing at all, she knew she loved the feel of his hands on her.

“I can’t remember the last time we didn’t sleep in the same bed,” he whispered while trying to concentrate on driving, distracted by the way Willow responded to his touch.

Willow opened her eyes and smiled as he grabbed the wheel again. “It has been…what…ten years. But, I think we can handle three nights without being in the same bed. If it gets too bad you can always sneak over to my room like you use to do when we stayed in Sunnydale.”

Angel cocked his eyebrow. “Well you better be sure I can handle this or there is going to be one very cranky vampire.”

“I knew you would understand.” She smiled.

The redhead reclined in her seat, looking out the window as Angel continued to drive.

~Part: 2~

Sunnydale………Radisson Inn

Conner sat in front of the television playing a Playstation 2 game. The fire in the fireplace crackled, warming the room.

“Connor,” Cordelia yelled making him paused his game. “Put the tree up by the window.” She walked over to Conner as he stood picking up the tree and put it by the window where she wanted it. She watched as he sat the tree down and went back to playing his video game again without a word.

“Men,” she mumbled as she went back to the living part of the suite. They had rented the upper part of the Radisson Inn. She and Conner were the first to arrive and were actually a day early. The rest of the gang was not due to arrive until tomorrow and she and her ex-husband Lindsey had been auguring the whole weekend about the baby.

“Geez, the only thing I ask for is a week away from the baby and what does he do…complain about work,” she said to herself as she started to unpack her clothes.

“CONNOR YOU BETTER HAVE FINISHED UNPACKING.” She bellowed.

“YES, MOMMY DEAREST,” he smartly responded.

“Don’t be a smart ass Conner,” she spoke as she walked back into the room. “That’s why I’m not with Lindsey right now …and if you want to go back to him then go.”

“No I don’t want too Cordelia,” he replied but never stop looking at his game.

“Good,” she spat, and then angrily walked away.

As she made it back to her room she didn’t know why in the hell she was mad. Well she did, it was just too many things bottled in and it was time to let them all go. Cordelia jumped when the doorbell rang. She walked to the door and was shocked to see who was on the other side of it.

“Lindsay?” She questioned. “What are you doing here?”

He walked in without speaking, at first.

“Better yet, where is my baby?” She inquired as she walked behind him and into the front room.

“Hey Connor,” he greeted as he walked in the room. Conner returned the greeting but didn’t look up. Lindsey took off his over coat and sat it down on the chair.

Getting a little pissed she grabbed him by the arm. Now she knew why she couldn’t stand him. “Where is my baby?”

Rolling his eyes he looked at her. “The baby is at the babysitter’s and excuse me for coming all this way just to try to make our relationship work.”

Cordelia was a bit shocked at what he had just said. They had been separated since the baby was two months old.

Feeling a little ashamed about getting mad a second ago, Cordelia let go of his arm. “I’m sorry, I – I just didn’t expect you here and all. You know since you tried to kill us about what a million times and with Angel being here,” she teased.

“Well,” he said walking up to her. “I know Angel never approved of our relationship but now it’s time to let everything go.”

Seeing that he was sincere she gave him a kiss on the cheek. “So, when will everyone get here?” He asked

“Tomorrow,” she whispered.

Smirking he looked at her. “So, you mean I have to whole day to just make love to you?”

“Love? I know it’s been months since we slept together but love is such a strong word.” She questioned.

“You call it what you want and I’ll call it what I want, as long as we want the same thing,” he teased as he grabbed her hand. “Show me to your room my love.”

Hating him and loving him at the same time was killing Cordelia, but at times like this she really loved him.

~Part: 3~

“Willow, sweetie, wake up,” Angel spoke from the window of the car. Apparently she had fallen asleep. When she looked out at him she could see that he had pulled into a motel.

Groaning she looked into his chocolate eyes. “Where are we?”

“We are about five hours away but it will be morning soon and you know me and the sun.”

Chuckling she sat up as he opened the door. “Yes, don’t want your skin to burn.”

“Ha…Ha you want to make jokes. I’ll have to find something else for that smart mouth of yours to do beside talk.”

She stood in front of him. “Like what?”

“How about this for starters,” he answered as he gently pushed her up against the car then bent to kiss her. He thrust his tongue in to her warm mouth, moaning as her hands clasped him behind his neck. He hardened at the contact of her body with his.

Finally, needing to breath, Willow pulled back.

“I think we should take this to our room,” he suggested.

Willow nodded as he led her inside the motel.
