Ireland:

Willow awoke early the next morning. Too early even for her. She looked around, cleaning the sleep from her eyes and yawning she got out of bed and stretched. Willow went into the bathroom to draw herself a bath. She walked out some time later, vigorously drying her hair.

"Do you know how cute you look?"

"EEK!!" Willow jumped and the towel in her hand dropped to the floor. She hid behind the bathroom door before Angel could say another word. "Angel is that you?!" She heard his laughter coming from the other side of the door. "You know, I don't find this a bit funny! Just give me something to wear before...before...well before I do something. I just don't know what yet!" Willow puffed.

Angel went and got her a dress. Willow peeked out the door and snatched the dress from Angel's hands. All he could see was her fiery red hair and the embarrassment that was clearly written on her face. Willow was mumbling in the bathroom. Angel could only make out a couple of words. <I would give anything for a pair of pants?....hum...Willow in pants...she would definitely look sexy, those gowns cover way too much...those long legs, that thin lean stomach...ummm...Christ, Angelus pull yourself together here!>

Angel was brought from his erotic thoughts when he heard Willow Coming out of the bathroom. Angel looked at her; she looked like she was on the verge of murdering someone.

"You know you could have warned me that you were out here." Willow tapped her foot. " But nooo....not you." Willow advanced. "You just {jab} had {poke} to {jab} scare {poke} me {swat} half to death. Willow punctuated each word with a poke, a jab, or a swat to Angel's chest. Angel retreated, grabbing Willow's hands with his and bringing her body up against his.

"OK·OK. I apologize, milady, that was very rude, and not what a gentleman would do, please except my most humble apologies. " Angel stated, holding out a bouquet of lilies.

All of the anger and embarrassment drained from her face, replaced with a smile. She took the lilies from Angel and ran her fingers delicately down the soft petals of the flowers.

"So am I forgiven for my sins?" Angel inquired, giving her that soulful puppy look that she remembered and had always liked about him.

Willow looked up from he lilies; she always loved these types of flowers; so pretty but elegant. "These flowers are my favorite. I know that they don't grow around these parts, thank you. How can I not except your apology now?" Willow looked from the lilies then back up to Angel.

"Well I am glad I did something right today." Angel smiled. “I was walking past a shop and I saw those flowers and they reminded me of you, pretty and very elegant." Angel teased.

Angel didn't notice Willow was in tears until he saw her shudder. He looked closely, her hair was draped around her like a protective vale. He tucked her hair behind her ear and lifted her chin. He could visibly see the tears that were streaming down her face and it started to scare him.

"Willow, what's wrong?" Angel's protective nature started to show.

"I miss my home." Angel tried to hide the sinking feeling that he had. "Also, it not right to feel this way when I am around you. Its..Its..not right." Angel was confused and he did not know what to do. "I am not like Buffy or Cordy, when I fall I can't stop myself from falling." Willow sobbed. " I'm not beautiful or·or·even pretty. I am just Willow, the best friend or Willow, the brains of the group. Nothing more, and then·I came here and·I met you··and you are different."

Angel arched an eyebrow. Willow was only confusing him more, babbling and nervously expressing her feelings with her hands. <note to self·Don't make Willow nervous, she babbles.> "Willow." Angel wiped away the tears that fell. "Look at me. You are the most interesting woman that I have ever met. You have a mind of your own. Most of these noble women just make themselves look beautiful so that they can find a consort and marry for stability. I don’t want that! I want someone who will marry me because they love me." Angel set her down in the chair. Willow tried to shield herself again. "Willow don't hide for me, don't ever hide from me." Angel scolded her in a mild tone.

"You are beautiful, don't ever let anyone tell you different." Angel took her hand into his own and brought it up to his lips. Willow looked up at him with puffy bright green eyes. He gently gripped her hand. "You know, I always wanted to see the world but I don't know now, because you made things interesting for me." Angel took a deep breathe.

"Willow for some reason, fate has brought you here·to me. Things have changed for me, in the little time that I have known you, you have captured something inside me that no other woman ever could." Angel looked down at Willow and noticed the way she was looking at him. "Willow, you have become my world."

Angel helped Willow stand. He embraced her, wrapping his arms around her offering her the support that he knew she needed. Willow rested her head on his chest and snuggled in to him trying to get closer. She felt like she couldn't get close enough. She was scared to be happy, every time she felt happy and content it was taken away from her. This time she knew what fate had in store for Angel. But she didn't know when it would happen. She just knew the year. Willow decided then that she would take fate into her own hands and love this man that was holding her in his arms. Angel gently brushed his lips against hers. It was a kiss of reassurance, to let her know that he wanted her and only her in his life. She gave in telling him silently that she felt the same.

"Do you feel better milady?"

Willow nodded.

"Well·we should get going. My father is a very impatient man. He hates it when I keep him waiting." Angel said with a light tinge of sarcasm in his voice, hoping that it would have the desired effect.

Willow gave Angel a small sad smile. "Alright."

Angel pulled her into another embrace and kissed the top of her hair. “Willow, I know that you need time to adjust to everything. But I just want you to know that I can and will make you happy."

Angel gathered up Willow's belongings and they left the inn. Finally closing the door on the past and opening up another for even the briefest time with Angel.

Willow and Angel arrived at the plantation. Angel instructed the servants to put Willow's belongings in the guest quarters. Willow was beside herself watching these people following orders at command. She saw another man come and take the carriage away. < I could never order anyone around. It's just to weird.> She began to look around, this place had acres of beautiful land. The house was bigger then Cordelia's. Willow heard someone call for Angelus. She cringed at his true name, she remembered the demon that inhibited his body. Willow hesitantly turned to where the voice was coming from. She saw a man and running ahead of the man was a little boy. <must be Andrew?> The little boy jumped into Angel's waiting arms. They began to roughhouse, Angel acting the same age as his brother. Willow smiled at the exhibition going on in front of her.

"ANGELUS!" Angel stopped and looked up at his father. "I think proper introductions are required?"

"Sorry Father." Angel stood. " Father, this is Willow and Willow this is my Father,Lord O'Bryan." Angel made the formal introductions.

"Hello." Angel's father looked from Willow to Angel and gave his son a nod of acceptance.

<Damn·I hate this. What do I say? How do I say it?>

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Lord O'Bryan." Willow cringed at the way Angel's father was looking at her. But she was also happy that she finally knew Angel's last name. <hehe·I know Angel's last name·this is so cool.> Andrew tugged on Willow's dress trying to get her attention. She crouched down to see Andrew eye to eye.

“My brother said that you saved his life.” Andrew stated.

“Yes...I helped him when he got himself hurt.” Willow replied, watching Andrew’s eyes glisten with happiness

Andrew leaned forward so he could whisper in her ear. “Me Brother, Angelus has spoken very highly of you. You pretty lady, has stolen me brother’s heart." Andrew gave Willow a hug.

Angel and his father looked on in amazement. Andrew was the shy, quite one of the family, mischievous when he got bored, but that was in every child. He would hide behind his mother’s skirt when someone he did not know came to visit. But with Willow it was very different. Willow stood to face the two men; Andrew grabbed Willow's hand and held on to it.

"I hope the accommodations are suitable for you. I have to excuse myself, I have a plantation to run. But I hope to talk to you some more when dinner is served." Mr. O'Bryan stated firmly, giving Willow a nod.

He turned to Angel. "Take your guest to the quarters and make sure she feels welcome. Also I would like to see you when you are finished helping Willow"

"Papa, Can I help Angelus?"

"Now Andrew that is up to your brother, it is his guest now is it not? " Mr. O'Bryan looked at the way Andrew was holding Willow's hand. "You know Angelus, I think that you are going to have some competition for the lady's heart." He laughed and then went on to tend to his business.

Angel looked at his brother. " Ye think you could win the lady's heart from me·do ye? Well Andrew, you know how I love challenges and I always win, but there is no challenge here, because I think I already won milady's heart." Angel grabbed Andrew and threw him up into the air. Willow looked at Angel in amazement. A short time after, the three walked to the guest quarters. Angel helped Willow put away her things. Angel departed after he was sure that Willow was fine with everything and he left Andrew in the company of Willow.

Willow lost track of time when Andrew was showing her around the plantation. He was starting to become mischievous. He showed her the stables and introduced her to all the servants as "His Brother's Lady" and showed her other things around the grounds. They stopped to sit under a tree that was on top of a little hill. Willow was so into watching the sun set, that she never saw or heard Andrew start to climb the tree. She felt something hit her on the head.

"Ow." Willow rubbed her head and looked up to see Andrew throwing acorns at her.

"Andrew, you get down here right now you...you little monkey." Willow spoke in the same tone that her mother used when Willow was doing something wrong.

All she heard was Andrew's giggles coming from in the tree.

"Andrew, <god help me.> please come down here." Next Willow tried to pleaded with the boy.

"NO·I don't want too." Andrews voice was defiant.

Willow ran her fingers through her hair. She was getting frustrated. <I am never ever having any kids.> She stood there thinking, arms crossed over her chest, and her foot was tapping. Willow never saw Angel and his father approaching them.

"All right, THAT is it. I've had enough, you come down here and if you don't come down I am going to come up there and get you. Do you hear me monkey?" Willow looked into the sky she noticed that there were clouds descending on them. <Rain?>

Angel was in mid stride and ready to speak when his father held out his hand and motioned to him to stay silent. Angel looked at his father, he knew what his father was thinking. Angel's father wanted to see if Willow was going to actually go up into the tree and retrieve his youngest son. They both stood there, watching the event unfold before their eyes.

Willow started to take off her shoes. She was oblivious to everything. "You know Andrew, I used to climb trees when I was a kid with my best friend Xander." Willow started to climb the tree with ease, even with a dress on. She looked up to find Andrew perched on one of the limbs. "Come here you." Willow reached for him and grabbed a hold of his leg. He squeaked and started giggling.

"You're funny Willow." Andrew laughed at the face that she was making.

"Lets get back, it looks like it's going to rain." As soon as Willow said that she felt drops of rain begin to hit her head. "Great! Talk about karma." Willow said to no one in particular.

They both headed down the tree. Andrew arrived at the bottom first, staring at his father and brother. Willow was halfway down and she jumped the rest of the way, landing on her feet.

"Let's go I don't want either of us to get sick." Willow turned to see Angel and his father with grins spread across their faces. "umm..how much did you see and hear? Wait I don't want to know, any minute now its going to start pouring."

Willow took Andrew's extended hand and walked past the two men, who were gapping at her.

"Angelus, she is a beauty when she is mad." his father laughed.

Willow heard the comment was ready to turn and say something when the rain started to become heavier. Willow picked Andrew up and started to run to the main house. Thunder started to crack across the sky. She felt the tiny body shiver in her arms. The four of them were at the house in a matter of minutes. When they got into the house, they were drenched from head to toe. Willow was still holding Andrew and Angel came up to her.

"Are you ok?" Angel asked.

"Yes..fine·just wet." She smiled. "Angel we need to get him out of these clothes or he is going to get sick." Her smile faded.

"Ok..follow me." Angel led Willow up the stairs. There was a woman walking towards them.

The women took Andrew from Willow, cooing softly in his ear and Andrew snuggled in closer. "Thank you."

"You're welcome."

The lady descended into another room and came back out awhile later. Angel had his arms curled around Willow keeping her warm. Willow snuggled into Angel, trying to keep herself warm but it wasn't working.

"Angelus, why is your guest still standing in wet clothing?"

Before Angel could respond, Willow spoke up.

"He wanted to get me something dry to wear, but I just wanted to make sure Andrew was alright." Willow shuffled her feet becoming more and more nervous.

"He will be fine. Andrew does this all the time." The woman gestured back to the room. "But now you, young lady, you are going to get sick if you don't change. I am sure I have something for you to wear. Come with me."

The lady turned to Angelus. "And you my son, you get your hide out of those cloths also." His mother scolded him.

"Yes Mama." Angel walked from the direction that his mother came from.

"I don't know about that boy sometimes."

Willow and Angel's mother walked into the master bedroom. " I am not as formal as my husband is, you don't have to be nervous around me Willow." She gave Willow a simple dress for her to wear. "I will leave you so you can change. I will be downstairs in the dining room if you need anything. " She left the room and closed the door behind her.

Angel's father and mother were where she said they would be. Willow stood at the entrance and looked around and saw no signs of Angel. They were discussing her, it was unbelievable to Willow's ears, the praises that they were giving her and they hardly even knew her.

"Trust me on this one Patrick, I am a good judge of character and Willow is a nice girl. She would be good for Angelus. I could tell that they already care about each other. It was the same way with us, if I remember correctly."

Patrick took his wife's hand and caressed it with his thumb. "Yes, I remember I fell in love with you the moment I saw you."

"Umm·excuse me, I hate to interrupt but do you know where Angel is?" Both of his parent's looked up.

"I'm right behind you."

Willow turned quickly on her toes and glared up at Angel. "Oh! What did I tell you before? " Willow shivered.

The rest of the family came in for dinner. Willow met Angel’s two sisters, Katherine and Erin, and their husbands Shawn and Michael. They all asked Willow questions about where she was from and how she knew Angel. They laughed, ate and drank. They did their best to make Willow feel at home and it worked. Willow could feel the essence of the family, made of purity, love, and loyalty.

Willow heard someone enter the dining room while the others were talking. < Damn two years of hanging with Buffy paid off.> She saw Andrew rubbing his eyes.

“Mama” Andrew whined

“What is it Andrew” His mother got out of the chair and went to see the little boy.

“I had a nightmare, it scared me.” Andrew blinked, looking around the room.

“Come on, I will take you back to bed.” His mother extended her hand to her son.

“Mama, can Willow tell me a story?” Mrs. O’Bryan looked back at Willow.

“I don’t mind darling, but it is up to her.” She said to her son turning to Willow. “Do you mind?”

“No...not at all.” Willow smiled.

Willow got up and started to walk to Andrew. Angel stopped her and gave her a look. She had seen that look before, when he was upset with Buffy over that Owen guy. Willow walked behind Angel and crossed her arms around his shoulders, leaning down to whisper in his ear. “Now Angel, don’t get all jealous over your baby brother. He is just too cute and adorable, I can’t say no to him.” Willow teased Angel. Giving him a little peck on the cheek she left the room with Andrew in tow.

After awhile only Angel and his parents were left in the dining room. They were having a conversation about Willow. His parents were telling him that they liked Willow and they hoped this relationship would not end like the others had ended. Angel told them that this time was different he felt connected to her somehow, but he could not explain how. He would do everything in his power to keep Willow by his side. They could tell that this was not a mere crush that Angel had, it was something more. Katherine interrupted the conversation.

“Angelus, I think that you should retrieve your lady. She fell asleep in Andrew’s room.” Katherine told her brother.

“Alright, I am going to retire to my room now.” Angel told his parents and said goodnight to Katherine and went to get Willow.

Angel opened up the door leading to Andrew’s bedroom and found Willow curled up in a chair. “You have the strangest ways of sleeping.” Angel shook his head speaking to Willows sleeping form.

Angel picked Willow up out of the chair and carried her out of the room.

He was met in the hallway by Katherine.

“I left some night attire for her in your room, it is raining to hard to take her back to her quarters, she will stay with you. But behave yourself!” She told Angel and went on her way, not waiting for his response.

Angel took Willow to his room and placed her on his bed. She looked so peaceful he didn't want to disturb her. But he didn't want her to sleep through the night in that uncomfortable gown.

“Willow...wake up.” Angel tapped Willow and she woke up instantly but she was still groggy. “Here is some nightwear for you to change into.” Angel handed them to Willow and left the room to get changed himself. When Angel returned, Willow was buried underneath a mass of blankets. He smiled and got into bed. Angel put his arms around her and Willow snuggled closer to him. She wiggled around to get comfortable again and Angel groaned silently.

“Goodnight Willow.” Angel placed a kiss on the nape of her neck.

Willow mumbled her goodnight and Angel fell asleep with Willow wrapped in his arms.

Sunnydale: The Mansion

Angel was pacing back and forth. He couldn't sleep, visions or dreams plagued his thoughts. He didn't like it, he felt like he was losing control. The dreams were different, him loving someone; he couldn't see her face but it was the same every time. In his mind he could her laughter, the woman's voice was like silk that ran over every contour of his essence. He would see the way she moved, so delicate but

forceful if she needed to be. Sometimes he saw pain and confusion in her eyes, but then other times he saw her love for him. Compassion like he never experienced. When she smiled at him, it made his heart beat ten times faster. Angel hated the dreams, when he woke from them he was left feeling things that he hadn't felt since his soul had left his body. Human emotions that he told everyone that he didn't have. But deep inside of him, he knew that he had them, and they were coming to the surface more and more; it was driving him insane.

"Damn me to Hell!!" Angel screamed and threw one of the many vases against the wall.

"What's the matter with my Daddy?" Drucilla pouted holding Ms. Edith.

"Nothing...Dru just leave me be!" Angel snarled.

Dru left the room pouting and saying that someone stole her daddy's heart. Dru was driving Angel insane with her pouting and talking to her dolls; <Damn...I really did a job on that one. > Spending every moment with him like she was some kind of lost puppy. Angel didn't mind it at first; in fact he loved it. The way he just strolled back into their lives and had Dru the instant he was back. It was also fun watching Spike squirm. But in the past couple of week's things started to change. Angel started to put distance between the three of them. He was a loner, and he liked it that way. His plans worked better when he was alone. Like thetime that he almost killed Willow, that was so unexpected but it was very interesting, the trust that she had in him. The innocence that he felt coursing threw her veins. <Damn how I love virgins, the way her body was pressed against mine and the fear that was coming through every pore. How I loved it! Damn what is it with that girl. Why didn't Angel see what was right in front of him, but no not soul boy he had to go for the slayer. Maybe when Willow gets well, I will change her and keep her. >

"Damn why am I thinking about that pesky little girl." Angel ran his fingers through his hair in annoyance with himself.

He needed to get out, he needed a good kill. But it was mid afternoon and he would just have to wait for dusk. "Ohh...I know what I could do to amuse myself. Let's go play with Spike's emotions for a little while." Angel strolled out to the main room where Spike and Dru were.

"So Spike, My Boy, what is UP with you today? Oh...wait, nothing that's why I'm still here. Just to please my girl." Angel strolled over to Dru and placed a kiss on the nape of her neck while seductively wrapping his arms around Dru's waist.

"Daddy knows how to take care of you doesn't he Dru." Angel cooed loud enough for Spike to hear.

Spike growled.

"Ohh.... Daddy, Don't make Spike mad please, Spike's my pet and I always take good care of my pets, isn't that right Spike?" Dru cooed

Spike grinned. "Yeah Angelus...why don't you go play with your ex-pet. I am very sure that she would just love to see you right now."

"What do you mean by that, Rollerboy?" Angel slid his hands down Dru's stomach and grinned evilly at Spike.

"Ohh...I think you know, Angelus." Spike shifted into his chair, getting ready to get Angel back for all the months of torture. " One of my men told me that you paid a visit to the hospital the other night...to visit...a certain friend of the slayer's. Even brought her some flowers." Spike laugh was from the gut.

Angel pushed Drucilla aside and stalked over to where Spike was, gripping the arms of the chair. Angel leaned forward.

"Don't you ever send one of your pathetic fledglings to follow me again or else I WILL rip your dead heart out of your chest and give it to the slayer as a gift." Angel growled.

Spike smirked, he loved the reaction he was getting from Angel.

Dru pushed Angel aside and sat on Spike's lap. The two watched as Angel paced back and forth.

"Spike...Miss Edith tells me that my daddy doesn't want to hurt the slayers friend. You know which one, the red head." Angel turned and peered at Dru. Drucilla continued to go on. "She also tells me that the stars told her that the red head is awakening something inside of him and she is going to take him away from me. But she will have a surprise, because I am going to rip her heart out and give it to my Angel."

"Drucilla...shut up...do I have to remind you that the slayer and her friends are my kills, and I don't like it when people mess with my kills." Angel hissed at her.

"Its ok...baby." Spike touched her face. "I am always here for you and I will never go anywhere." He cooed in her ear. Spike could feel her relaxing against him

"Damn it, Dru...you are really starting to piss me off. Taking about 'awakening'." Angel took one of her dolls that laid on a mantel and threw it at the wall. "You and your god damn visions, why should I believe you? Your precious Miss Edith didn't tell you that our plan with the judge was going to fail. Hell, what was I thinking when I made you, oh...that's right I just needed someone to screw around with." Angel spat the words out of his mouth like they were leaving a bad taste in his mouth.

Dru clung closer to Spike. The rage that she saw in Angel's eyes scared her more then ever before. Spike folded his arms around Dru trying to comfort her but it wasn't working. She was shaking with fear and Spike could smell it.

"That's enough Angelus, you're scaring her. When in bloody hell are you going to stop tormenting her?" Spike screamed showing the first signs of frustration.

"All's fair in love and war, Spikie." Angel smirked. "No wait...I don't love Dru, you do if I am not mistaken. Possession is more my game, isn't it?"

Angel left Dru to Spike. He was going to do something but he just didn't know what yet. He decided to go roam the sewers, maybe to find a bum that no one cared about and drain him slowly, or he could just sneak into the library and see if there was anything interesting going on there.

******************

Angel snuck into the library without being detected by Buffy. < She is really off of her game now that her rock is gone. Willow is the foundation of this group, and with her gone all hell is going to break loose. > Angel smiled at that thought. Then he noticed that they were all seated at the table as usual and Buffy was in all-out pace mode.

"But..Giles, we don't even know what happened to put Willow in the hospital. It wasn't Angel. If it was she would have been dead and left as a gift for me." Buffy said with a shudder going threw her. She had a mental image of finding Willow's lifeless body in the library.

< I would never do something like that. Maybe vamp her and then we could have some fun terrorizing Buffy. But not kill her that would be a waste, Willow is the smartest person I know.>

"Well...yes...I know Buffy...Bu...But I think that the spell Amy preformed will keep Angel out of Willows room for the time being and it does buy us some time to find out what actually happened to Willow and to help her in any way we can." Giles took off his glasses and pinched the bridge of his nose.

Back in the stacks Angel was amused with the concept of the witch, Amy, and her little spell. This is all just another obstacle that would get in this way. But Angel never gave up on any of his conquests. He always found a way to get by and win the prize. He loved these kinds of games, they were most entertaining.

Amy came running though the doors and she threw her books onto the table making everyone jumped. She had tears running down her face and she couldn't form a coherent thought to tell them what she knew. <only tell part of it...then try to find out what I can do about the rest.>

"I have something to tell all of you. But I am sure that you guys are so not going to like this." Amy took a deep breath.

"What is it, Amy?" Xander's voice was full of concern. He just knew it was bad by the way Amy was acting.

"Well...umm...I think that I know why Willow is in coma. But I still don't know what triggered it." Amy rushed the words out of her mouth.

"AMY, don't make me regret something I am about to do. Stop beating around the bush and just get on with it..." Xander's temper was getting the best of him.

Cordelia also knew that there was something very wrong going on. She took Xander's hand and gave it a little squeeze. Xander returned the gesture with a small sad smile.

"Ok...here it goes...I asked my aunt about a couple of things. She told me that her...umm.how can I say this?"

"Christ Amy, just tell us." Buffy interrupted her and was getting very agitated with the young witch.

"Basically my aunt told me that her spirit is someplace else." Amy sputtered out.

That is when all hell broke loose. Xander was screaming at Amy telling her that her Aunt was as crazy as her mother was, Giles was at a lost for words and Cordelia and Buffy both had shocked looks on their faces. Buffy was first to clear the fog that had settled over her.

"Xander, shut the hell up!" Buffy pointed a finger at him. "Amy is just trying to help us figure out what is going on here and you are just making things worse, as usual."

"But Buff....I think that I have every right to be concerned. Amy has just told us that Willow is gone, well her spirit is. What the hell is that suppose to mean? That she will wake up and be a cold hearted killer like Angel is?" Xander ran his hands over his face trying to calm himself down, but it was not working. "How can her spirit be someplace else? That is totally impossible."

"Not quite Xander. Living on the hellmouth you should know better than anyone that these things can and do happen." Giles went into his office to see if he could find any truth to what Amy had just told them all.

Angel was still perched in the stacks listening. He loved the paranoia and the fear that he could feel throughout the room. It was intoxicating to him. Angel wondered where Willow's spirit could have gone off to. But then he dismissed the thought due to the fact that he remembered what Buffy had told him about the young witch's crazy mother. <Maybe it runs in the family>

Angel left while they were still discussing what was going on. He knew nothing about what Amy was talking about. But something deep inside of him was nagging him, like he was suppose to remember something important but he just couldn't pin point it.

**********

Angel roamed the sewers. He knew that he had a couple of hours to pass before dusk. For some odd reason the path that he taken led him right back to his old apartment. He went inside thinking that he had nothing else better to do with his time. Angel didn't want to go back to the mansion, he most likely would have to play tea party with Dru just to get back on her good side and that was so humiliating. Having his minions talk about him like he was whipped. Angel stood in the middle of the room and looked around. There was dust all over the place and he could still smell Buffy all over the apartment. Angel

scowled at the thought of him and Buffy on that fateful night. He stripped the sheets off the bed and threw them out the door. Angel made a mental note to burn everything that smelled even remotely like Buffy. Angel also decided that he would move back into the apartment. He was growing tired of Spike hassling him to kill the slayer. He wanted to control her, to drive her crazy. He could do that on his own. He sat down at his desk and started to draw. When he was finished with the drawing he looked at it closely. The picture was suppose to be of Buffy's demise, but in fact it was of a woman with long flowing red hair. She was plain but very elegant.

"What the fuck...I can't get this woman out of my head." Angel cleared the desk in one sweeping motion.

The rage inside of him grew stronger, until it consumed him once more. His internal clock went off telling him that it was dusk. He smiled to himself. < Now its time to have some fun.>

Angel went back to the mansion to find Spike and a couple of his men there. As he walked past Spike he slapped him upside the head and Spike

gave him an irritated look. He laughed and went to his room. Angel packed his things and told Spike that he was leaving and not coming back. Spike was pleased with the notion of Angel out of their lives for good. He wouldn't have it any other way. Angel also informed him that he would tell Dru himself.

Drucilla was out roaming the streets looking for Angel. She knew that he was around, but she didn't know where to look. Dru skipped around the corner and walked straight into Amy.

"Aww...lookie what we have here...If it isn't one of the slayers little friends." Dru sang. "The witch!"

Amy started to back away slowly. Thinking of ways that she could get out of this predicament without getting herself killed. Amy started to run but in a matter of seconds Dru grabbed her by the back of the neck and slammed her against the wall.

"Naughty....Naughty." Dru wagged her finger in front of Amy, who was desperately trying not to lose consciousness. "Mummy says that you been a bad girl." Drucilla faced changed and Amy screamed. Drucilla sliced Amy's face with her fingernail. She watched Dru lick the blood that was on her finger.

"You are one crazy bitch!" Amy screamed at the vampiress.

Dru pouted and her eyes got this glaze to them. Amy heard Dru starting to talk to the stars. She squirmed and wiggled to try to get out of Dru's grasp. Dru tightened the grip around Amy's neck. She could see everything starting to go blurry.

"Your blood speaks to me." Dru traced the cut on Amy's face. "It tells me that you have a secret that you are hiding. Now, why don't you tell your little secret to mummy."

"What is the witch's blood telling you Dru." Angel emerged from the shadows. Amy saw Angel approaching her looking like a predator ready for the thrill of the kill.

"It whispers to me...My Angel. It tells me that the witch has been holding a secret from the slayer." Dru cooed against Angel.

Angel looked Amy up and down, His blatant stares were full of malice. Angel gave her a sly smile turning back to Dru, Angel traced the ridges of her demon face.

"Tell me her secret Dru, what or who is about?"

Drucilla started to bash Amy's body against the wall again, with every grunt Dru heard from Amy, she would giggle. Amy was now unconscious and the only thing that was holding her up was Druscilla.

"Umm...Dru...Sweetheart." Dru looked up at Angel. Her demonic face changed back to her human facade. "I think you should tell me what the secret she is keeping." Angel repeated with a tinge of annoyance.

Drucilla turned back to Amy and craned her head to the side. "Angel, I can't get into her head...its all cloudy." Dru let Amy's body fall to the ground.

"What do you mean Dru?!" Angel's muscles started to tense. "What do you mean you can't get inside of her head?"

Dru shrugged.

"You crazy...Bitch." Angel slapped Dru across the face. She flew against the dumpster. Angel stalked over to where she was and picked her up by her hair. "You know Dru, I am really tired of your fucking bullshit." Angel punched her in the face once again and was delighted by the sound of her nose cracking. Then he slammed his knee into her stomach. Drucilla was on the ground wheezing for air that she didn't need. Angel could feel the rage slowly dissipate from his vains. He pulled Dru's body up and sank his fangs into her neck. Dru screamed in pleasure from the pain that Angel inflicted on her. He pulled back and saw the passion that filled her eyes. "You always have been a sadistic bitch." Angel kissed her roughly. "Go back to Spike, maybe he can get you off." Dru began to whimper. "And don't ever try to find me again because if you do, I will torture you and hang you from a tree and let you burn with the first rays of the sun." Angel threw her to the ground. He turned to see Amy still unconscious. < DAMN> He picked her up and started to walk back to his apartment. Getting back to the apartment was an easier task for Angel than he expected. He thought he would at least run into

the slayer or one of Spikes men. Angel set her down on his bed. <Ok...I want to know about what she is keeping from the slayer. I am just going to have to try to be nice to her just this once. Angel fixed the wound that Dru had inflicted on Amy. He didn't have to wait long for Amy to regain consciousness. Angel heard stirring coming from the bed.

He also felt her heart rate increase as she awoke in unfamiliar territory.

"Hello" Amy called out nervously.

Angel came out from the kitchen, startling her. Amy cowered back to the wall and huddled herself into a corner. Angel could smell the fear and the demon thrived on it.

"What...what do you want?" Amy stuttered out nervously.

"Answers" Angel held out a glass for Amy. "here take it. It's just water."

Amy looked at the man in front of her and quickly took the glass and began to drink the contents.

"What answers?" She asked.

"If you give me what I want I will let you go. Now what I want to know is what Dru was talking about before you conveniently shut down your mind." Angel sat in the black leather chair across from the bed.

"No...you wouldn't understand what happened....I don't even understand what is happening." Amy babbled.

Fear set into Amy's body once again. Amy contemplated to herself what Angel just said. If she didn't tell him what she knew then he would most definitely kill her, but if she did then she might just stand a chance.

"Promise you let me go?" Amy asked hesitantly.

"I am a man of my word...I never broke my word and I never will. Misguide maybe but lie never." Angel stated with conviction

Amy took a deep breath, unconsciously running her fingers over her face.

She noticed the cut was clean and had a couple of butterfly stitches on it.

Amy looked intensively at Angel and he gave her a cryptic smile. <why did he do that?>

"Ok....here it is...She has done an Astral Projection." Amy blurted out and Angel had a very confused look on his face, so Amy went on. "She is more powerful than I thought, I mean, she didn't even know what she was doing...messing around with different spells and such." Amy started to pace nervously.

"Hold on a minute." Angel watched the young girl in front of him. "Willow is a witch...and you are telling me that she is in coma because she has done this Astral Projection thing?"

"Yes...Angel...Willow is a witch but it wasn't her time to find out. She wasn't trained and I messed up because I was suppose to help train her." Amy walked over to where she had set down the glass and took another sip.

She turned to Angel and stood about five feet away from the vampire testing him, seeing what he would do.

"Astral Projection is when you are put to sleep or you fall asleep and you can travel through space and time, but you don't know where you are going to end up. Willow didn't know her own powers and she separated her spirit from her body and that caused her to go into coma. I have never seen anyone that could do that." Amy started to pace around the apartment. She could feel Angel's eyes on her with every movement that she made.

"There is nothing that you left out that you are suppose to tell me is there? Because if I find out there is more to this situation, and that you conveniently left it out, I will find you and torture you."

Amy swiftly turned to glare at Angel. Her eyes started to lightly glow.

"Listen...I gave you all that I know. Now I want out....LET ME GO!!"

Angel lost his patience, Amy was not playing the game like he wanted her too. He got up and grabbed her by the arms, tightening his hold on her by the minute. "You want out then get the hell out of here. But before you go....one more question. How long until the invitation spell wears off on Willow's room?"

"NO!...I am not going to tell you that...If I tell you...you are going to kill her." Amy screamed her eye's glowing more.

"I am not going to kill her. Why would I do that? I mean Willow is the

backbone of the gang...the smart one...It is too early in the game to kill her." Angel growled and shook the young witch.

Amy's eyes turned white, she gathered up her inner strength and propeled

Angel across the room. Angel hit the wall with such force that it rendered him unconscious for the time being. <damn that witch can pack a punch.>

Amy fled the apartment not even bothering to look back...

Ireland:

Over the months that passed, Willow and Angel's love for each other grew. Angel took her to places where she had only dreamt about going. He was considerate, kind, gentle and sweet. One night a couple of months into their relationship, Willow was walking around the house, trying to find Angel. She went into the foyer and saw Angel talking to his parents. Willow noticed that both of his parents were smiling while he was talking and his father was nodding his head in agreement. Willow walked out into the foyer and Angel turned automatically opening his arms. Willow stepped into Angel's welcoming arms.

"Hi." Angel kissed her on the top her hair.

Willow looked up at him with a smile painted on her face. "Hi!"

Angel's parents watched the exchange between the two.

"We have to make the arrangements for tomorrow night." Angel's father told both of them. He dismissed himself and took his wife with him.

Willow tightened her hold around Angel's waist. "So Angel, are you going to tell me what that…" Willow pointed to the door "was all about?"

Angel gave Willow a sly smile, the one that she loved so dearly, it was mischievous and sexy. He kissed her pouty lips, then moved along her cheekbone and placed small kisses going down the nape of her neck. "It's my birthday.." Angel trailed off in between kisses.

Forgetting all about what Angel just said Willow gave into his minstrations, they were creating a very pleasant feeling. Willow tilted her head back giving him more access to her neck. Every touch from Angel sent more heat and passion through her viens. Angel captured her lips again in a passionate kiss. Willow traced the contours of his chest with her fingertips, as they broke the kiss they were gasping for air. Angel looked down into Willow's lust glazed eyes and he placed his hand softly on her cheek, caressing it with his thumb.

"I love you." Angel spoke with such conviction and Willow could see the happiness in his eyes.

"I love you too." Willow kissed Angel again. Angel, wanting more passion, tried to deepen the kiss. Willow broke it off before it could happen. She loved teasing him; she enjoyed seeing him squirm under her touch. It excited her more than she ever though possible. Angel lips were coming towards hers. Willow's mind just registered what he had said before the lust clouded it.

"Wait…did…you just…say that you birthday was tomorrow?"

"Well, yes I did." Willow's babble cut Angel off.

"Why didn't you tell me before…I can't believe you didn't tell me. How in the world could you not tell me something as important as that…I mean Angel, come on now…no one forgets to tell some one that they love that it's their birthday…I told you mine but you forgot to tell me yours!" Frantically looking around Willow waved her hands in the air trying to express what she was saying. " I have to get you something…but what do I get for a man that has everything…I don't even know what you want or..or if you wanted something where could I get it and…and where would I get the money to pay for it.." Angel watched Willow babble to herself. He knew that if he didn't stop it soon that she would and could go on for hours like this. He smiled, laughing to himself, she would do this when she would get flustered or when he knew something that she didn't. He would do this on purpose sometimes because he loved watching her like this. It was one of the many parts that made up Willow Rosenberg and he loved all of them. "If I knew it was your birthday I would have bought you something special…be…because you are special to me, you always have been." Angel kissed her suddenly…catching her lips with his just to make her stop…make her cease the babbling. The kiss that Angel gave her made Willow's mind go blank. Willow ran her hands up his chest and around his neck, leaning against his body more intimately. Angel raised an eyebrow; subconsciously wrapping his hands around her waist pulling her closer, hands moving lower on her body gentle cupping her bottom. Willow gasped and looked up at Angel.

"Angel…" Willow purred. "What do you want for your birthday?"

<I can play this game too…>

Willow, not being the bold and daring type, boldly brushed her hips lightly against him.

"You." Angel groaned.

"Willow released herself from Angel's grasp. She strolled seductively around the foyer, her body screaming to Angel with every move that she made, never taking her eyes off of him. "But you already have me…silly.."

Angel stood there with his hands in his pockets, he couldn't move. He watched her move, his eyes roaming over her body stopping at certain places. He wondered what it felt like to have her bare body against his, he could feel the tension course through his body, while he watched her seductively moving around him. Angel had to say what he wanted to say to her before his libido took over and he lost all control over his mind.

"Willow come here…please." Angel swallowed hard as he watched Willow approach him like a tigress, wild and untamed, just waiting for the right moment to pounce.

Willow smiled up at him, noticing how stiff his body was. <got him now!…hehehe..>

"What?"

"I want to ask you something…but hear me out first before you speak." Angel tried to clear his mind trying to phrase the words right before he spoke. "I want you…in my life, day and night. I want you to grow old with me….to have my children…many children. I want you to become my wife." Angel took Willow's hand in his.

Willow was shocked. She wasn't expecting a marriage proposal. <oh…boy…he wants to marry me…little Willow..oh..god what do I do…what do I say?> Willow started to cry, looking up into Angel's eyes and then down at his hand, the hand that held the other part to his claddagh ring. Then she noticed that his was turned around with the heart facing inward towards him. Willow looked at Angel once again. Angel cringed <she isn't going to accept!?…why? > ngel withdrew physically and mentally, dropping Willow's hand and closing the ring in his. He started to back away towards the door.

"No…don't.." Willow laid her hand on his forearm to make him stop retreating from her. "I mean….yes…Yes Angel, I will become your wife." Angel turned around with a shocked look on his face. He didn't know what to do. Willow caught his mouth, whispering yes and telling him that she loved him. Angel finally accepted Willow's advances and gave into her, embracing her, picking her up and swinging her around. Willow giggled, kissing him once again melting into him, making two bodies, two souls into one. Both of them parted after hearing clapping and giggling, they slowly turned to see Angel's family standing there.

"I swear…You have no tact…my son." Angel's father replied smugly.

"It's about time my son began to settle down. I knew she was the one that could tame your heart." His mother added.

"Well get on with it Angelus, make it official…go on." Erin screamed happily over her mother's shoulders.

Angel set Willow down, both losing each other in their eyes. "Willow…marry me…I promised to love you till my dying day." Angel had just put his heart out on the line once again but this time it was in front of his entire family.

"Yes." One word redefined both worlds.

Throughout the night they celebrated Angel and Willow's engagement. They talked about the upcoming wedding and tried to set a date. His father even asked when his first grandchild was going to come. Willow blushed a bright red at the comment. They finally decided on a date, which was to be three months from that night. Katherine, Willow, Erin and Mrs. O'Bryan went to talk about the details of the wedding, gowns and such. They left the men to go find other things to talk about.

When Angel decided to retire to bed. Angel opened his door and found Willow sleeping on his <their> bed. He walked over to the bed and noticed that her hair was still wet. Angel shrugged, going into the other room to bathe and change. Willow awoke to the sound of Angel humming. She walked silently into the room that he was in. Willow noticed that he was shaving. She never could get enough of watching him do that. < I wonder if…>

"Willow?" Angel was looking at her with what looked like to her to be an old shaving knife in his hand. <Damn he must get cut a lot with that thing. >

"Huh?" Willow arched both eyebrows.

"Are you ok?" Angel mocked her. He knew that she was fine. But for some strange reason he always wondered to himself why she had this obsession with watching him shave. Ever since a month after she moved from the guesthouse into the main house. He remembered his father cursing him because he was never in his own bed when his father went to wake him up in the morning. But it wasn't because he didn't like them together, it was just the fact that his father had to go into the other direction just to get him.

So his father let him move her into the main house. She slept with him in his bed, he was the perfect gentleman, never pushing her into anything that she didn't see fit. He knew that she would make the first move when she was ready. But he also wanted to be their first night together special.

"Can I help?" Willow smiled and swayed back and forth on the balls of her feet.

"What?" Angel was confused.

"Shave?"

"Sure, if you want." Angel gave her a skeptical look. He handed the knife over to Willow and she sat up upon the bureau that had the basin of water on it. Willow started to glide the knife carefully down his face, making sure that she did not cut or nick him. "Why does it seem that you are so interested in my mere shaving?" Angel startled Willow with that question, and she accidentally nicked him on his chin. Angel winced. She hurried and grabbed a towel, pressing it against the nick,

"I'm sorry…I didn't mean…"

"Willow" Angel took the towel away from his cut and out of her hand. "You are avoiding my question."

"It's just a force of habit…I mean you look so cute when you are shaving….well not that you aren't cute…but when you do shave it makes you look cute…er…I mean.."

"Willow." Angel cut off her babbling.

"Huh"

"Did I ever tell you that I love the way you babble?" Angel told her and kissed her on the nose.

"ohh…ok..umm..are you going to let me finish?"

"Yes milady."

Willow finished with her task -. "All done." She jumped down from where she was sitting and moved into the bedroom. Angel could tell by the way she was acting that she was nervous or upset about something, he just didn't know what. Angel walked into the bedroom to find Willow absently brushing her hair. He took the brush from her and started to brush her fiery red hair. Angel could feel the tension drain from her body from just that simple act.

"Willow." Angel said quietly. " Are you happy here…with me?" Angel suddenly had this insecure feeling wash over him

"Of course…I am Angel. I love you, I love being with you and a couple of months from now I am going to become your wife, and of course I am happy here. Why are you asking a question like that?"

"Cause sometimes I just get this feeling that you are unhappy. I don't like to see you that way, Willow." Angel put the brush down and pushed the remaining hair that laid on her shoulders away, exposing her neck. "I love you…" Angel whispered placing kisses on her shoulders up her neck and nibbled on her ear. Angel felt a shudder go through her body. He turned her around slowly towards him.

"I love you too…my Angel."

Willow went on her tiptoes and pressed her lips against his, flicking Her tongue against his lips, silently asking for an invitation. Angel accepted and slowly opened his mouth without hesitation. He felt Willow's tongue enter his mouth, roaming and exploring every contour. Angel picked her up, placing her gently on the bed. Willow was breathing heavy from the passion that was growing inside of her. She hardly expected to feel the heat that quickly took over her body. The heat grew when she felt Angel crawl up her body, bringing her nightgown along with him. She could feel him planting small kisses on every bit of exposed flesh that he uncovered. Angel reached her desire and gave it a quick kiss through her panties. Willow arched up into him wanting more. Before she knew it Angel had her nightgown off and was lying on top of her supporting most of his weight on his elbows. Angel was looking at her...the woman he loved, the one that was going to become his wife. Admiring the way her body flushed in the moment of passion, the way her nipples harden under his chest just waiting to be kissed and suckled upon. Willow tangled her hands in Angel's hair and pulled him down for a long passionate kiss. Angel ground against Willow's desire making her moan against his lips. He smiled as he descended lower only stopping to suck her hardened nipple into his mouth and ravish it. Then ,giving the other the same treatment, and then going lower, he started to lick away the perpetration that was forming on Willow's tight stomach. He smiled against her skin with every moan and gasp that escaped her mouth. Willow thrashed as she felt Angel slowly taking off her panties. Angel stopped to admire her swollen lips just waiting to be tasted and her hidden joy waiting to be suckled on. He took off her panties and placed them on the floor, spreading her legs further apart he could see that she was wet with her feminine juices, just waiting for him, and he was not going to disappoint her. Angel placed butterfly kisses up her thigh. Angel felt Willow tugging on his hair trying to make him go faster than he wanted to take this. Angel had one

hand cradling her leg and the other was creeping up to her core. Willow

was pushing her body against his skillful fingers trying to get the unbearable pressure to stop. He slid a finger into her core and she bolted up into a sitting position throwing her head back and screaming in ecstasy. Willow fell back onto the bed and was panting for breath. Angel was on top of her once more stroking the hair that was matted to her brow.

"I...love...you...Angel." Willow panted

Angel placed a small kiss on her puffy lips, stroking her body as he Waited for her to come down. Willow started to unbutton his attired spreading it open. She flipped them over so that she was on top. Willow tentatively started caressing his body, going further down and being bold, she started to stroke his manhood. Angel captured her mouth in a possessive kiss, Willow took off the rest of his clothing ,braking the kiss. Willow took advantage of the situation, and swiftly she took his manhood into her mouth coming back up raking her teeth lightly against it, swirling her tongue around the head. She sucked on the head taking more and more into her mouth.

"Willow ....oh god...damn....Willow....please." Angel gasped and grabbed the sheets. "Willow gotta stop....please!"

Willow snickered to herself.

Grabbing her and settling her on top of him, Willow felt the tip of his manhood at the entrance of her core. She bit her lip and thrust herself down, impaling herself. She screamed as she felt the pain when he broke through her maidenhood, collapsing onto his chest. Angel rubbed her back, cooing in her ear waiting for the pained look on her face to dissipate. Lifting her head, Willow kissed him passionately. Willow started to move slowly, Angel helping her set the rhythm. Willow saw the lust and the passion in his eyes. Lifting into a sitting position she started to set her own pace. She felt her nipples harden with Angel's touch. Angel flipped them over once more, and he started to pump slowly

into her; his movements became faster, knowing that he was on the edge. Willow was matching him thrust for thrust and when they both came together, screaming each other's name. Angel spilled his seed into

her womb. Angel slid beside Willow possessively pulling her into his arms, kissing her on the cheek.

"I love you...Willow."

"I love you too...Angel."

Angel and Willow fell asleep cradled in each others arms

Willow awoke famished…but feeling energized. She happily snuggled into Angel's arms. Angel stirred, his hands beginning to roam her body.

"Hey.." Willow giggled.

"Good morning." Angel smiled, cupping her breasts in his hands. Willow pressed herself against him, hearing him groan; Angel rolled on top of her. Willow welcome him home once again. Their lovemaking was short, sweet and wild.

After several hours of lovemaking, Willow and Angel decided to get out of bed and help his family with the preparations for tonight's ball. Willow was taken away by his sisters the moment that they saw her. They had to prepare her for the party and make some last minute adjustments.

At the party, Willow and Angel were inseparable. They danced and drank, and when the time came he introduced Willow as his bride-to-be. Most of the noble women were shocked and envied Willow. The happy couple was able to slip away from the party to have some time to themselves. When they finally came back, Erin greeted the two of them.

"And what were the two of you doing in the guest house?" Erin snickered.

Willow blushed. <Boy…I just can't get enough of him..>

"Very funny Erin." Angel rolled his eyes.

"You know…if the two of you don't stop you'll will wined up having a litter of children. Which will make papa very happy to say the least. Speaking of papa, you have nothing to worry about Angelus, he didn't even notice that the two of you were missing." Erin walked away after seeing her husband.

Willow was looking around just relaxing in Angels' arms, when she saw someone staring at Angel that she had hoped she would never see again.

"Angel…I have to go to the ladies room."

"Can I come with you…" Angel corked a smile

"Angel!?!" Willow giggled and slapped him on the arm playfully

Willow walked through the crowd and looked back to make sure Angel was not following her. She spotted the blonde that she was looking for. She grabbed the woman's arm. "Ladies Room NOW!" Pulling her in with her Willow saw that there were ladies in there chatting about her engagement to Angel. "EVERYONE OUT NOW!" Willow stated holding the woman securely by her side. All the ladies hustled out of there giving her looks. The ladies room was emptied in a matter of minutes. She shoved the blonde against the wall, taking her by surprise.

"Excuse me maim…but you are hurting me.."

"Well lets see if a wooden stake or a cross would hurt you….most likely it would." Willow spat through clinched teeth. The woman was surprised and looked scared for her life. "I know who you are Darla and I suggest that you don't mess with me."

"You know?" Darla was taken back by the red head. She could see her eyes beginning to glow.

"Yes…you are a vampire…you want Angel, but guess what? You can't have him."

Willow yanked a cross off her neck. She held it against her face. Darla hissed in pain, trying to get away from the holy object.

"How are you going to save him…red. I always get what I want." Darla hissed at Willow.

Willow taking the cross into her hand, she grabbed Darla's arm. When the cross made contact with her flesh she hissed in pain.

"You listen to me and you listen to me good. We are going to walk out of here and I am going to escort you off this plantation. I will make sure that you are never to come near here again."

Darla looked up into Willow's eyes they glowed with power. "You're a witch…"

<Witch?..> "Let's go…I want to get back into Angel's arms."

Willow and Darla walked out of the ladies room. Angel was there waiting for her after hearing about what happened in the ladies room.

"Willow dear, is everything ok?" Angel asked, concern showing on his face.

"Everything's fine Honey…" Willow gripped more onto Darla's arm. Darla winced as the cross burned more into her flesh. "Just escorting someone out that I don't like very much…she did myself and my friends wrong in the past Angel." Willow quickly kissed Angel on the cheek. "I'll be right back." Willow and Darla walked out to the beginning of the plantation. "Now leave and if I ever see your face around here again Darla, you will be seeing something you haven't seen in ohh…what a couple of hundred years." Darla ran off into the night. Willow recited the spell that revokes a vampire's invitation. Willow hoped and prayed as she walked back to the party and Angel that she scared Darla enough to never see her again.

*****************

Willow was being kept busy by either the wedding preparations or by Angel. She loved how Angel had a knack for keeping her busy, not to mention other things. But Willow was happy, truly happy. She started to feel ill a week before the wedding, but she passed it off as the jitters and so did everyone else.

Willow looked and felt like a princess the day of her and Angel's wedding. Angel stood at the altar nervously waiting for his bride to come down the isle. Angel's father walked Willow down to his son. The priest went through the mass. Willow and Angel committed themselves to each other through love, devotion and loyalty. They had the claddagh rings as their bands and at the end of the ceremony, they kissed, sealing their vows. Now Willow was Mrs. Angelus O’Bryan and she coulD not have been happier.

Willow and Angel traveled to Dublin for their honeymoon. Angel took her to see plays, operas, and musicals. But most of their time was spent in bed with each other. While they were there Willow was beginning to feel tired and she had no idea why. Angel didn't understand what was going on with his wife. He was worried about her, so about a month into their trip they both decided that it was time to return to Galway.

Willow slept most of the trip home to Galway, cuddled in Angel's arms. But they did have a lot of fun on the carriage ride home. One night, they were about a day's ride away from Galway when Angel spotted this carriage that had a broken wheel. He was debating whether to stop and help or not. But he looked over at Willow sleeping peaceful and decided to stop and help. Before he got out of the carriage he kissed his wife's forehead and whispered that he loved her and that he would be right back. Willow was awaken by Angel's blood curddling screams. She got out of the carriage and ran to see what was going on. When she got there she saw Angel's semi-concious body lying on the ground. Willow started to cry, berating herself for forgetting that Darla was around. She knelt near Angel and started to lovingly stroke her husband's hair, seeing the fang marks on his neck.

"An…Angel, did she…force…you to drink from her?" Willow cried, tears rolling down her face because she knew that she had to kill the man that she fell in love with, her husband.

All Angel could do was nod his head.

Still stroking his hair. Willow kissed him on his forehead. "I love you Angel, only you till my dying day." Willow shut her eyes and took a deep breath. She got up to search for a piece of wood.

"Willow look out behind you!!" Angel screamed with his last ounce of energy.

Willow turned around quickly. Darla was behind her with her demon face on. Darla grabbed Willow roughly and made her face Angel. Darla grabbed her head and pulled it, making the vein visible to her eyes.

"Now Angelus…you will watch your wife die by my hands." Darla pierced through her neck with her fangs drinking Willow's lifeblood.

"NO!" Angel screamed helplessly as he watched this demon kill the only thing that he loved. Through the tears that stung his eyes, Angel could

actually see Willow's spirit leaving her body. Before Angel succumbed to death, he watched her spirit and whispered his love for her.

On that night Willow died and a demon was born.

Sunnydale:

Months had passed since the night Amy was attacked by Drusilla. She still thought about the events that happened that night. She could not get rid of this strange feeling she'd had ever since Angel had rescued her. Something about the way he had behaved, the human rage that she seen in the pits of his eyes. She had to find out what was happening for Willow's sake. Amy walked into the hospital, making another stop to see Willow. While looking at the condition Willow was in, her mind flooded with thoughts of what had happened a couple of weeks ago. Mr. and Mrs. Rosenberg were going to take Willow off of the machine that was keeping her alive. Amy and Xander had pleaded with her parents to give Willow time so that she might come out of it. Her mind burned with the expression on Xander's face when he came to her house to tell her about what Willow's parents were about to do. Amy was the one who visited her the most. Buffy was too busy with slaying and worrying about Angel. Xander well he was just Xan der, trying to rid the world of his hormonal state. Amy knew that Willow understood what was going on and would forgive them, just like she always did. Amy could not help feeling a little upset that she was the only one who came to visit Willow. Amy walked into the room and saw Willow lying there helpless and tears threaten to spill from her eyes. She took a seat next to Willow, taking her hand in her own.

"Willow...I know you can hear me. You have to come back from wherever you are. Things are getting weird around here. Buffy is just at a loss, first she lost Angel and now her best friend is lying here and she can't do anything about it." Amy sighed, feeling a headache coming on. "She's blaming herself for what is going on, Willow. You have to come out of this.... PLEASE." Amy felt the tears run down her face. "Another thing, Angel...he has been going out of his mind. Buffy thinks that he is going insane. But for some reason I have this feeling that it has something to do with you." Amy felt some pressure on her hand and looked up at Willow. She could have sworn that Willow squeezed her hand.

"Will..." Amy looked up at the intruder that just entered the room. It was one of the nightshift nurses carrying a bouquet of lilies. Amy looked at the nurse her eyes wide, realizing whom the lilies had to be from. "Where would you like me to put these?" The nurse asked Amy. Amy pointed to the rest of the floral arrangements that made the room smell like she was in a garden instead of a hospital room. "The young man is still outside, he comes here almost every night just to check on the young lady's progress." The nurse shrugged. "The weird thing is he never comes in and visits her." The nurse left the room.

"Damn it why is he here? What does he want?" Amy looked at the door and looked at Willow. She sat back down and proceeded to talk. "Well Will, more flowers just arrived from you know who. There are so many thoughts going through my mind right now. I wish you were awake to help me figure this all out." Amy placed her head against the cool metal bars that hung from the bed. She was getting a stress headache. Standing suddenly, Amy was going to find out what she needed to know even if it killed her. "Willow.... I will be back soon..." Amy left Willow's room.

"Angel?" Willow spoke softly to a silent room.

Amy walked through the corridors of the hospital for some reason she could sense where he was. She approached him; his back was facing her. Amy touched his shoulder.

"Will..." Angel turned and looked into the startled girl's face.

Amy was shocked and horrified when she heard what Angel had just said. Not wanting to make a scene she pulled Angel into one of the empty waiting rooms.

"Ok....I WANT to know what is going on NOW?!" Amy started to tense. She had to know now what was going on.

"What are you ever talking about Amy?" Angel gave a sly smile to the witch. He took a seat in one of the chairs.

"Don't give me that!" Amy folded her hands behind her. "You know what I am talking about. It started when Willow left us."

"Left us?" He cocked an eyebrow.

"YES!" Amy's tone startled him. "Don't try and walk around the subject with your cryptic manner, Angel. I know your game....I see right through you. I want to know what your reason is for terrorizing a person that doesn't know that you are there."

"She knows I am here." He told Amy.

"Ohh...yeah she knows that you are here. Willow knows that Angelus is here to terrorize her." Amy threw her hands up in the air in frustration. "You know Angel, I wish I knew what you want with Willow. I mean it is really strange that you stop pestering Buffy and change tactics and go after Willow."

"I don't know what you are talking about...I want the slayer and I will have her when the time is right for me." Angel grounded out threw clinched teeth.

"You know Angel." Amy tapped her finger against her temple. "I have been thinking about you and..." Amy pointed to Angel and then pointed out into the hallway towards Willow's room. "...Willow...if I am right...and I know that I am right, Angel you are showing some human emotions." Amy smiled slightly when she saw the surprised written clearly on Angel's face.

"I don't have emotions....just the thrill of the hunt, passion of the kill. Those are the only emotions that I have." Angel stated smugly. "I don't think you know what you are talking about, do you Amy?"

"Ohh....Angel on the contrary. I do know what I am talking about." Amy moved closer to where Angel was seated. Angel watched as Amy moved closer to him. He could sense no fear, only confidence. He watched her as she kneeled in front of him, seeing her eyes take on a different light. At that moment he could feel the power radiate from her. Angel knew that she was a witch from the memories of the past conversations with Buffy, but he did not realize how powerful she was and did not expect her to take Willow underneath her wing as she did. Angel remembered when he first lost his soul. How the first person that he went for was Willow. He wanted to kill her because he knew she was the weak one, just as he was when he was human. But when he held her in the school he loved the smell of the fear that coursed through her veins. Also he was shock to realize that underneath that fear was power. Yes, he toyed with Willow only for all of the power that lied underneath the insecurities.

"You know Angel," He focused on Amy once again. "I think I finally figured out what you are all about."

"Yeah...so why don't you tell me a little about myself. Something that I don't already know," Angel leaned forward so that he was nose to nose with Amy. He had a feeling that she was too close to the truth of why his obsession for Buffy diminished so easily and why he forfeited all of his time to spend on a new obsession.

"You, or should I say your demon, is attracted to innocence, like everything evil is. You just take it to a higher level." Amy had to be the one in control. She knew that Angel thrived on fear, he could smell it. She had to show no fear. "You thought that it would be fun throwing Buffy's love for you in her face, that you could break her. When you realized you couldn't, you decided to move on to something weaker, something that you have been drawn to ever since you lost your soul." Amy turned and started to walk away. She stopped but did not turn around. "One other thing...Don't think that you are going to destroy Willow like you did Drucilla, because it will not work." Amy walked out of the room leaving a stunned Angel behind.

#####

Spike walked down the empty streets of Sunnydale thinking about what was happening. Angel lost his soul, taking full advantage of his weakness by taking Drucilla right away from him. "Bloody hell...She didn't even put up a fight. Just walked right back into her Daddy's arms. All those years since Prague, I helped her, I've been faithful to her, and this is what she does to me." Spike shook his head, clearing away all the self-loathing. Spike was seriously thinking about leaving Drucilla and Sunnydale for good. He was getting frustrated, Angel came back and took everything away from him. He looked up and saw that his walk had brought him back to the mansion. He heard Drucilla's wild screams coming from inside. Spike hurried over to where he left his wheelchair and rolled himself inside. "Bloody hell, I leave for a few hours and I come back to this." He looked around at the others. "Someone mind telling what is going on here?"

Dalton stepped in front of Spike nervously. "It seems that Drucilla had one of her visions. She went out and came back about a half a hour later babbling about 'They are not going to take him away from me.' "

"Ohh...bloody hell." Spike turned going to check on Drucilla. "Why didn't one of you try to stop her?" When he entered Drucilla's room he could see her pacing in front of the fire. He could tell just by her movement that she was upset. "Luv, is everything ok?"

Drucilla turned to see Spike looking at her. She began to pout. "The bad lady is trying to take my Daddy away from me Spike. I will not let her."

Spike went closer to her but stopped as she moved to the fireplace. "Drucilla, tell me what you saw."

"It's from the bad lady my Spike." Drucilla brought the disk into Spike's sight. "The little witch uses these...but she can't now...she is happy now.... with Daddy." Spike gave Drucilla a confused look. "They will not have my Daddy again.... I want him. He belongs to me."

Spike's felt humiliated. His heart clinched. "Dru give me the disk. I will take care of it." He noticed her eyes go hazy as she tilted her head to the side. "Baby, I will get rid of the disk. Tell me where you found it?"

Drucilla walked over to Spike. She trusted him, handing the disk over to him. "Ms. Edith told me where to find it. It was where Daddy killed the bad lady." She sat in his lap. "Spike..you will make it all better won't you...you always make princess happy." She cuddled in Spike's arms and fell into a contented sleep.

Spike put Drucilla into her bed and left her to sleep. He stopped in the corridor just staring at the disk. <Could this really be a way to get rid of Angel for good? It has to be the curse. > Spike could hear Angel cursing at his minions. His sire was agitated about something. Someone got underneath his skin. That brought a smile to his face. <Have to thank that person. > Spike went to the sewer entrance. He knew that if he was going to do what he had in mind, then it had to be while Angel was asleep. Spike went through the sewers following the way to the high school. His mind was focused on the task at hand. He had to figure out who could help him. Spike knew that he could not go to the slayer, she would help, but it was too risky. He needed someone outside of the little gang. He reached the high school, avoiding the sunlight. Spike entered through the library's back entrance. He could hear Buffy and the others talking about Willow. It interested him, how the slayer's friend could cause he r to be so unfocused.

"So how is Willow…has anyone check on her progress?" Giles asked the group.

"Amy has been watching her, visiting her I mean. I have been busy trying to find out a reason why Angel would be doing this?" Buffy's tone was one of guilt for failing not of jealousy.

"Well, I am sure she will be fine.." The group heard the bell ring telling them that

another period has begun. They all left the library with Giles right behind them.

"Where you off to G-man?"

"If you must know, Xander, Principle Snyder asked me to see him about Willow's absences." Xander gave him a sad smile. He felt helpless standing by and not being able to do a thing.

Spike came out of the shadows and he was just going to leave the disk on the watcher's desk. He froze in mid-step when he heard the door open. "Mr. Giles are you in here? I have some news about Willow." Amy's voice echoed through the empty library. Amy felt another presence in the library. The presence she felt was not Angel but it was tainted with the same kind of evil energy. "Ok…whoever you are …if you don't come out now…I will fry your ass."

"Well, Pet why don't you just tell me how you are going to do that…low burn or just chuck me into the flames of the sun?" Amy looked towards the doorway and saw a sight that made the color drain from her face. "Don't worry Pet. I was just leaving." Spike began to walk back the way he came when he stopped. He was surrounded by sunlight. "Bloody hell." He turned slowly to see Amy standing in front of him, eyes black as midnight.

"Now that I have your attention, why don't you tell me why you are here?" Amy took a seat in one of the chairs. "Or we can do this the old fashion way….which is my way."

"I don't have to tell you a bloody thing…. I kill people like you every day just for the hell of it. Did you forget that?" He could feel the heat of the sun close in on him. "Bloody hell…you are doing it…" He watched as Amy mumbled a couple of words, seeing how she manipulated the light.

"Tell me and I will make it stop…if not Buffy and the others will find your ashes." Amy said off handedly.

"Fine…I like my undead life. Drucilla she found something of the watcher's dead girlfriend and I was bringing it back." Spike could feel the heat hitting his arm. "Would you bloody hell stop it already! I am telling you…" Amy just smiled at Spike, watching as he jumped into the confines of the small amount of shadow that he had. "As I was trying to tell you, the Watcher's dead girlfriend…I could only suspect that it is a restoration spell from the way Drucilla was ranting earlier."

"Where is it?"

"It's in the Watcher's office….Can you stop with the freaking suntan already? I am beginning to feel violated!"

Amy stood from the chair and walked into the office and retrieved the disk, which was on the desk. "I don't think so…I just might need you for a while longer." Spike waited as she went over to the computer to check the disk. From the smile that was on her face Spike could tell that he was right. Amy's head jerked up as she felt Spike was watching her. He broke eye contact with her. "So I guess that is the spell…Now let me get out of this hell hole before the slayer or the watcher come back."

"Well, I do need your help…" Spike gave her an amused look. "Well, it takes three people. Me and you that is two…we need a third…I know that you know someone who can help…so I don't want to hear any complaints. You are helping." Amy went over to the printer and waited for a copy to print out. Spike was ready to object but he felt the sun burning into his arm once again.

"Fine." He growled. "I know someone…just stop with the bloody sun tanning session."

"I want you to meet me in the gym. It's far enough from the here so that we won't be interrupted." Amy released Spike from the sun's cage. "I don't want to come looking for you."

"Whatever you say Pet. I am sure the slayer will be happy. She will have her puppy back." Amy arched an eyebrow at him. "Oh...not doing it for the slayer I see? This is getting more interesting by the minute. So tell me Luv, who are you doing it for?"

"I am certainly not doing it for Buffy. Sure she helped me out last year, but Willow needs this…" She held out the printed paper. "more then Buffy does."

"Well, fine with me…it's not like I give a damn…Angel will be out of my hair… that is all the I am concerned with." He was gone before Amy could say another word.

"He better be there tonight…."

"Who better be where tonight, Amy?" Amy looked up to see Cordelia standing in the doorway.

"I don't really think that is any of your business." Amy gathered her things and walked out of the library. Amy went to get the things that she needed at a local Wiccan store that only select members were allowed to enter.

######

Spike entered the mansion. The first thing he needed to do was to find Dalton. He was the only one that was still loyal to him. "Where's Dalton?" He growled at one of Angel's minions.

"Where is he usually, Spike?" The minion growled back. "He is playing with his books."

"I should throw your ass out into the bloody sun for talking to me like that you imbecile." Spike threw the comment over his shoulder as he walked to Dalton's room. He could hear Angel and Drucilla talking about something. But he could not hear the specifics of the conversation. <I'll have the bloody wanker out of my hair in just a little while. >

Spike walked into the room, and he saw Dalton reading something in an old tome. "Dalton…you have helped me in the past." Dalton looked up at Spike a little nervously. "I need your help again."

"Anything Spike." He adjusted his glasses sticking his head into the book again.

"What is so fascinating about that book you are reading?" Spike walked over to Dalton, looking at the tome that was written in Latin.

"It…um...looks like a prophecy of some kind." He points to a specific text in the book. "It's very vague." He looks up at Spike. "It says something about darkness and light will join and bring together two communities."

"Well, this is why I usually leave this kind of work to you isn't it? Anyway, meet me at the high school at sundown." Spike patted Dalton on the shoulder, leaving him to his books.

####

Amy was preparing for the rite, which granted her the ability from the gods and goddess. Amy didn't notice Spike and Dalton walk in. Dalton just stood there watching the witch. She had power, why he knew that was why Spike had chosen her. Spike cleared his throat. "Can we bloody hell get on with this...I have a dinner reservation at midnight."

Amy looked up eyes glowing white. "Well, I wouldn't want to keep helpless people waiting." Amy stood to retrieve the orb, placing it into the middle of the circle she pointed where Spike and Dalton should stand. Amy lit the herbs and handed them to Spike. "Hold these...."

"Bloody hell Pet, this shit stinks.... My dinner will be able to smell me coming a mile away."

She looked up at Dalton. "You are?"

"Dalton."

"Here." Amy handed a sheet of paper to Dawton. "I suspect you know what it is by the look on your face. All you have to do is read it." Dawton nodded.

"Ok...we are ready."

"Ready as rain Pet, the wanker will become the slayer's lap dog once and for all."

Amy closed her eyes, sending all the negative energy out of her body. "Gods bind him, cast his heart from the demon...realm."

Amy looked at Spike as Dalton began the Latin version of the spell. "Te inplor Doamne, nu ignora accasta rugaminte! Lasa orbita sa fie vasul care-i va transporta sufletul la Angelus! Este scris, aceasta putere este dreptul poporuil meu de a conduce..Asa se fie! Acum!."

***********

"I want the slayer dead...She bores me." Angel paced in front of Drucilla.

She growled at Angel. He turned and looked at her. "What is with you tonight Dru?"

"My Angel, you don't want me anymore." Angel walked towards the pouting vampiress. He raised his hand to touch her cheek but she swatted it away. "Daddy is going to be bad again."

"But Dr…." Angel gasped for air as he fell to the floor, grabbing his stomach. "Oh…Fuck!"

***********

Amy's voice grew as she felt the power coursing through her veins. "I call on you, gods do not ignore this supplication! Let the orb be the vessel to carry this soul to Angelus!" She closed her eyes and she could see the essence that made Angel.

"It is written, this power is my people's right to wield."

***********

Drucilla was staring at Angel's body, screaming at the top of her lungs. She knew she was helpless. Angel looked up at her; he extended his hand in a plea for help. She pulled away and cowered in the corner shaking her head as his eyes took a glow to them. Angel's body fell on the floor motionless, the mansion was silent. Minions came running into the main room where they heard Drucilla's screams. What they saw next amazed them. Angel stood and looked at them with tears in his eyes. One of the vampires growled at him, knowing there was something wrong with his master.

"GET AWAY FROM ME!" Angel snarled, running away from the mansion and into the night.

**********

In the room Willow's father sat in one of the chairs nearest to his daughters bed. He cried himself to sleep begging for someone to help his daughter.

"Angel!" He woke up to his daughter's screams. Willow was looking around the room frantically looking for someone Mr. Rosenburg didn't see.

"Willow..Honey.." Her father tried to sooth her but it didn't help. He ran out of the room calling for a nurse for help.

***********

"Pet, did it work?"

"Yeah…I think it did, Spike." Amy collapsed in Spike's arms from exhaustion.

~Part: 10~

Amy was startled as she woke up.  She looked around and found not sign of Spike.  She tried to stand but fell right back into the chair looking down she found a note.

Sorry Pet, had to leave with sunrise due in a couple of hours.  I like my undead life.  I am sure to see you soon.   S~

She shook her head.  Amy was weak from the spell but she knew that she had to get moving before the school day started.  Amy stood once again and made it on her shaky legs.  She cleaned up and left the room taking the note with her.  She stopped by the library and she heard Buffy's voice.

Amy looked around and saw all the things that she used for the spell.  She hurried around to clean up before Buffy and Xander found out what she did and with whom.  Amy looked up to see Buffy, Xander and Cordilia walk pass the room that she was in.  She sighed in relief Amy didn't feel like dealing with them today.  All she wanted to do was to go home and sleep.

Amy walked out into the hallway ready to head out the door.  "Hey Amy…wait?"

She turned to see Xander running down to where she was.

"I wanted to know if you were going to see Willow tonight?"  He asked her while gasping to fill his lungs with air.

Amy rolled her eyes.  "Xander, I am always there…You."  She pointed an accusing finger at him.  "Only visit her once a week or sometimes less."

"Well it isn't my fault…I have to help Buffy…She has been out of it since she found out about Willow."

"Buffy can take care of herself, she is the chosen one…the slayer.  Xander you should really get your priorities straight."  Amy's sarcastic tone left him wondering what she was talking about.  "I have to go." She turned and left Xander there speechless."

Xander walked to the library considering Amy's words.  He was spending too much time with Buffy and Cordilia.  "That will all change."  He mumbled to himself as he pushed the library doors open.  "Hey G-man, you here?"  Xander looked around the empty library.  He walked over to the office to see Giles sitting in the chair sleeping.  "Giles..its time to wake up…a watcher sleeping on the job…is not a good thing."

"Xander will you please leave me be."  Giles grumbled as he began to wake up.  "I would rather see someone else's face when I wake in the morning."

"You know I am really hurt by that statement Giles." Xander spoke as he left the office throwing his books on the table while taking a twinkie out of his pocket.  "I thought that we were buds."

"That is hardly what I would call us Xander."  Giles straightened himself out, putting on his jacket and waited for his slayer to arrive with a report about last night's activities.  His wait was not as he expected.  Buffy came storming through the library door with Cordilia hot on her trail.  "S..So Buffy how was patrol last night?"

"Well, let me just tell you Giles…there is something going on…and I don't like it.  Angel hasn't been seen in the last couple of day…that is not a good thing."  Buffy hopped on the counter ready to proceed with the events of last night.  "There were no vamps out last night Giles.  Not to say that I am unhappy about it…but I have a feeling that Angel and Co. are planning something big.  Its to creepy."

"Maybe he just gave up and found other interests."  Cordilia spoke as she snatched the twinkie from Xander's hand and threw it in the trash.  "Xander I swear, do you know how many calories are in one of these things?"

"Cordy…honey.."  Xander pouted.  "I'm a growing boy."

"Can we please stay on topic here."  Giles stressed to the bickering couple.  "Now Buffy as you were saying?"

Well, as I was saying.  There has been no sign of Spike, Drucilla or Angel.  I don't like it.  The last time I seen Angel was a couple of months ago…when we first found out about Willow.  Unless he is trying to get to me through her."  She looked over to Giles.  "Giles if he hurts her I am going to have to kill him."

"Yeah..right."  Buffy looked over at Xander.  "You can't do it he even knows it.  He killed Ms. Calendar and you couldn't do it what makes you think that if he hurts Willow you could kill him then."

"XANDER THAT IS ENOUGH!"  Giles spat the words out of his mouth.  He was still grieving from the loss of his love.  Every time Xander brought her name up it would cut into his soul.

"Fine..I am just stating the truth."  Cordelia slaps him across the head.  "OW!"

"Alright…that is enough."  Cordelia looked around the room. "Willow should be our main concern here.  Not  Angel, We all have to keep her safe.  When was the last time any one of you when to visit her.?"  They all had their heads bowed knowing that she was right.

"I am the Slayer….I have to keep the world safe Cordelia…Willow would understand that."  Buffy retorted.

"Oh…yeah…almost forgot ..its all because of you that Angel isn't is soulful self."  She lashed out on Buffy.  "Maybe if you would have kept your hormones in check we would not be having this problem right now.  You demon of a boyfriend would not be trying to kill us all just to get to you."

Buffy rushes at Cordelia.  Xander gets up and puts himself between the two bickering girls.  "That's enough...out of both of you.  Cordy we are leaving."  Xander takes Cordelia by the hand pulling the resisting brunette out of the library.

" You know she's right Buffy."  Giles walked into his office and leaves the slayer to an empty library.

Sunnydale Memorial:

Willow was laying in her bed thinking about the way she got into this mess.  She felt guilty now.  She could not tell Buffy what happened.  Xander was most definitely out of the question. She sighed hoping that Angel would not remember what happened so long ago, how she changed her future with just one spell. Tears started to run down her face as she felt her heart constrict. Willow remembered everything.  Angel, how he was, how he treated her.  The two were two totally different beings.  The Angel that she fell in love with was sweet, kind, loving, and no torment in his eyes. <Just like Angelus but he was not a killer.>  This Angel was brooding, tormented, never smiled, and never could be happy.  Willow scrubbed her eyes trying to wish the tears away, but she could not.  She knew now that as soon as Angel regained his soul that he would go back to Buffy.

"Willow?"  Willow looked up to see Amy standing there looking shocked.  "Oh…my..god, Willow your awake…"  Amy ran to Willow's bedside and automatically embraced her.  "How are you feeling? Are you ok?  Do you remember me or anything that happened?"

The tears that Willow thought were gone came back.  She cried on Amy's shoulder.  "Amy…Breathing..need to breathe."  Amy loosened her grip on Willow.  She wiped the tears that slid down her face. "Willow..What's the matter?"

"Nothing..I am fine."  Willow gave her a sad smile. "I am just happy to see you."

"You sure?"  She persisted.

"Yes…Amy."  She looked around the room.  Amy noticed this and was reluctant to tell her whom the flowers were from.  "Amy, where are the others, and who sent all these flowers?"

"Oh…Buffy and the gang are at school.  I skipped a couple of classes because I wanted to check in on to see how you were doing." Amy looked briefly over at the flowers by the window.  "Um...Will, I don't know how you are going to take this but Angel sent all those." Amy saw a look of horror pass on Willow's face.  "Its ok…he's alright now. Well just say that he's Angel again…and will never lose his soul."  Willow laid her head back against the pillow tears started to fall from her eye's once again.  "Will, hey Willow what's the matter.  I thought that you would be the first to be happy about what I did."

"I am happy…"  She sniffled.  "Did you tell Buffy yet or have you seen him around?"

"The answer to both of your questions is no."  Amy shrugged. "After we did the spell I fainted because of the power that was needed to do it…"

"Wait?"  Willow interrupted Amy's answer.  "Who else help you…it could not have been Giles because then Buffy would know."

"Um…well that is another story in itself."  Amy didn't want to put all this strain on Willow but she knew that Willow would persist until she found out all the answers.  "Spike….was the one…he helped me…" She watched as Willow's eye's grew wide.  "I could not believe it either I know that he wanted Drucilla back…that is why he did it."  She laughed.  "He got on my nerves…I wanted to stake him myself." Willow was not listening to the comment Amy just made it dawned on her that Angel would remember her, and their past.  "Will…" Amy's voice once again drew her out of her thoughts. "What is the matter…tell me now…before I get Buffy to drag it out of you." Willow knew that she had to tell someone…someone out of the group. She knew that Amy would believe her.

"Amy you are going to have to sit down for this."  Amy sat immediately.  Willow told her everything that happened.  Beginning with the night that she accidentally combined and casted to spells. To meeting Angel and falling for him.  To marrying the man that she met so long ago.  "I didn't even think about anyone back here. How selfish could I be.  I fell in love and married my best friend's hunny."  Willow looked down her hands, her hair made a protective shield around her face.  "I should have never done any of the things that I did."  She cried.  "What if he remembers?…what if he tells Buffy and they both hate me?"

"Willow."  Amy took her hand into her own.  "You can't help the falling for people.  You should know that by now…."  Amy leaned over and tugged a piece of hair behind her ears.  "The Angel you met was a combination of the two.  Now I know why Angel became so obsessed with you…"  Willow looked up at Amy with tear stains down her face.  "Willow no one knew why Angel out of the blue changed his tactics.  Buffy and the others thought that he was trying to get to Buffy threw you.  But it seems like they were wrong.  He just has this attraction to you that he didn't understand.  You changed the future by going into the past. You, Willow Rosenburg have become a very powerful witch."

"No…No…"  Willow started to tremble.  "Amy he can't remember.  You have to promise me that you will not tell anyone what I told you."

"Willow."  Amy tried to comfort her.  "Calm down…I don't want you to get sick again.  I promise that I will not tell anyone what happen."  Willow cried on Amy's shoulder mumbling about how she loved Angel.  Also how she betrayed Buffy and how she wished how she could make things right again.

The two girls stayed like that until Willow was all cried out. Amy didn't know what to do.  She just watched helplessly as her friend went through this alone.  After about a hour of Amy trying to convince Willow that she did nothing wrong.  Willow finally drifted off to sleep.  Amy smiled at the sleeping girl in the bed and promised her that everything would work out.  She left Willow's room after she made sure that everything was ok. While she was walking out of the hospital Amy thought of a plan to help her fellow witch.

**********

Buffy was fighting one of Angel's men.  She dusted him with the grace and ease of only a slayer would have.  Buffy didn't give any sarcastic remarks just let her fighting skills take over and take it out on every vampire that she would come in contact with.  As she strolled threw the cemetery she felt a presence following her around.  It was becoming unnerving.  She knew the who it was, but she could not figure out why didn't he just come out of the shadows and taught her with what she had done.

"Alright, that is it."  She hallered.  "Come out right now…I know it's you…you want me, so here I am."  Buffy was frustrated. She wanted to take her frustrations out on the one vampire that was killing her inside.  "Come on…"  She screamed right at the shadow where he stood.  "I know you are there Angel.  Why don't you just stop hiding so we can get this done. I do have trig homework to do."  Buffy watched as Angel stepped out of the shadows.  "Now, let's play."  Buffy rushed him delivering an upper cut to the side of his jaw.  Angel staggered backwards.

"That is for everything that you did to me."  She kick his feet from underneath of him.  "What's the matter, Angel.  Don't want to fight me…just figured that you drive me off the deep end?" Buffy sneered kicking him in the ribs.  "That is for using Willow to get to me."  Angel let out a shout of pure agony.  "No wise comments tonight now that you are the one on the ground."

She kicked him again hearing his ribs crack put a smile on her face. Buffy pulled him over to where he was laying on his back.  "And this is for Ms. Calendar."  She was ready to drive the stake right through is heart.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you, Pet."  Spike stepped out of the shadows where he was watching the two of them fight.

"Why is that Spike?…What trick are you two playing now gang up on the slayer and share?"  Buffy cackled.

"I am surprised."  He came closer to the two of them.  "That you of all people would know the difference between the two."

"What the hell are you talking about Spike?"  She looked from Spike down to Angel.  "Stop being so damn cryptic."

Spike laughed.  "Do you really think our dear Angelus would allow you to have him in that position?"

"It's a trick."  Buffy whimpered looking down at Angel once again.  She saw something that she had not seen in months shining through those dark eyes, regret and sorrow.  "Angel?"

"Well, slayer…you aren't as stupid as I thought you were.  I will be going now."  Spike walked away.  Buffy didn't even hear his last comment.

Buffy backed away from Angel with pain in her eyes.  "Buffy?" She started to cry uncontrollably shaking her head in denial.

"No…it's a trick."  Buffy repeated over and over again.

Angel slowly got up wincing at the pain on his side.  He slowly moved towards Buffy not to scare her.  Angel knelt down in front of her and gently touched her arm.  "Buffy."  He pulled her into his open arms as she struggled to free herself from his hold.  "Its ok." Buffy gave up and burrowed into his shoulder.  It had been something she'd been dreaming of ever since he lost his soul.  "I'm sorry…" Angel whispered into her hair.

Spike was on his way back to the mansion.  He stayed just to hear the slayer's tears.  It gave him such joy just knowing that she was going to kill the wanker.  He decided to cut through the park and grab a bite to eat before going to back to see if Drucilla was ok.  He heard a scream.  Spike changed his direction when he smelled the sweet aroma of fear.

Amy decided to take a short cut threw the park to make it home quicker; she hadn't meant to stay at the hospital that late.  But what Willow had told her made her stay.  Amy was thinking about everything that the young redhead had told her.  Pondering on certain aspects of the tale, calculating the events.  She believed Willow, how could she not?  But for Willow to be that strong was unheard of.  Only the blood of a true witch could obtain such a strong power.  Amy was so much in her thoughts that she didn't hear the vampire come up behind her.  The vampire snarled and Amy turned around and screamed.  She tried to run, but the thing backhanded her across the face.  Amy searched her mind frantically looking for a spell to help her.  She found one and started to recite it.  Nothing happened.  The vampire picked her up off the ground growling as it was going in for its first kill.  Amy screamed again as its fangs pierced her sink.  She could feel her life force being drained.  As everything around her started to go black she saw a blonde come up behind her with a stake in its hand.  Amy smiled as she lost consciousness knowing that she was not going to die.

Spike staked the vampire and as it turned to dust he lunged for Amy, catching her before her body hit the ground.  Spike checked for a pulse and finding one there he walked back to mansion with Amy in his arms.  Spike walked into the mansion to see his minion standing around.  "Where's Dru?"  He asked as he set Amy down.

"She's gone Spike,"  One of vampires spoke up.  "She was ranting after Angel ran out of here."

"Bloody Hell."  Spike cursed.  "None of you tried to stop her?"

"Yes."  Another vampire took over.  "But she just ripped his heart right out of his chest."

"How long ago was this?"

"Before the sun set…She is most likely dead, Spike… from the exposure of the sun." Dalton came out from behind the other vampires.  "I'm sorry Spike."

Spike had the look of shock on his face.  His black goddess was gone.  What would he do now?  Spike turned back to Amy and picked her up, leaving the gang of vampires staring at her.  "If anyone dare to touch this girl in my arms…it would be the death of them."  He walked into his bedroom, closing the door behind him.

At the hospital Willow looked out her window as the moon shone above her.  She knew that she had changed the future, but when she was with Angel he made her forget about where she came from.  He was so gentle..loving.  The loyalty that shined in his eyes when he looked at her was amazing.  She loved him so much.  <Amy was right…you can't help who you fall in love with…but what to do now?>  Outside a knock came.  Willow looked up scared to find out who it was.  "Come in."  The door opened and she sighed in relief seeing that it was only a nurse.

"I have something to tell you dear.  Can I sit down?"  Willow extended her hand to one of the chairs.  The nurse sat and looked up at Willow.  "Now…the blood work came back and everything seems fine.  But we found some enzyme changes in the blood. We did a second culture and sent it up to the lab again.  Miss Rosenburg…we ran the test through three different times. The test came back saying the same thing.  I don't know how it happened."

"What is it?  Just tell me!"  Willow practically screamed at the nurse.

"Miss Rosenburg…you are three months pregnant."

All of the color drained from Willow's face.
