Rock'n'Roll Lifestyle Interlude

Author: Janet Lynn

This is an interlude for Rock'n'Roll Lifestyle.  This is actually Xander/Oz with Will's thoughts of Angel and boy kissing.

Kiss Me

Will hurried up the steps and quickly made his way into the house.  He was looking forward to tonight’s rehearsal.  It had only been two days since Angel left and he was already anticipating the older man’s possible return that weekend.  They had spent the night before on the phone, simply talking for almost three hours.  Will’s father had finally come in and told him to hang up.  The boy had to sleep sometime and he did have school the next day.

Thinking of Angel immediately put a smile on the young man’s face.  He couldn’t believe his feelings toward the dark man.  They talked about everything and anything; school and music and movies and their pasts.  By the time they finally said their goodnights, Will felt as though he had known Angel his whole life.  It was a nice feeling.

The blonde quietly let himself into the house and nodded at the boys sprawled on the couch in the front room.

“Hey Spike,” they chorused.

“Hey Devon,” Will said to the man smiling at him.  “Parker,” he growled at the former drummer.  Parker looked suitably chastised and turned away as Will made his way to the back of the house where his bandmates were most likely waiting.

Walking into the back room, Will stopped short, realizing he had intruded on an intimate moment.  Gunn was apparently late again.  The two remaining band members were huddled together on the only real piece of furniture in the rehearsal room.  It was old and ugly and not really comfortable, but it was large enough for both men to sit in together.

Oz was sitting in the red vinyl Barcalounger with his boyfriend firmly in his lap.  Sure, Will knew that they were a couple, but he had never really seen them together, especially like this.  Xander was straddling the younger man’s legs, his knees wedged between the redhead’s slim hips and the duct taped arms of the chair.

As he watched, the brunette snaked his tongue out to trace the smaller man’s bottom lip.  Oz smiled slightly before opening his mouth and sucking the questing muscle into his willing mouth.  Will noted that Oz’s hands were sneaking under the larger man’s shirt, tracing the muscles and silky skin hidden underneath.

The redhead suddenly hit a sensitive spot when Xander suddenly giggled into his lover’s mouth and whined a quiet, “Danny.”  Will knew they had special names for each other.  Xander often called Oz ‘Danny’ when they thought no one else listening and Oz teasingly called his boyfriend ‘Xan’ for short.  He wondered idly if Angel would let him call him ‘Liam’.  Or if Angel would call him anything special.  He smiled lightly at the thought.

Will had seen people kissing before, but this was the first time he had seen two men together.  Oddly enough, he discovered it didn’t disgust him.  In fact, he found himself leaning forward to get a better view.  The soft sounds and gentle touches of these two men were making him half hard.

As Xander reached up to trace his fingers over the soft pale skin of his boyfriend’s cheek, he caught the sight of someone watching them.  Never breaking contact with the soft lips, the brunette whispered, “Got company.”

The two men turned as one, their foreheads touching.  They smiled at the gaping blonde and Oz asked, “This a problem?”

Will thought for several long moments.  Was this a problem?  He was slightly surprised to discover that it wasn’t.  In fact, he felt himself smiling back at the two lovers.  “Nope,” he answered. “No problem.”

“Cool,” the redhead said, turning back to his lover.  Suddenly, Gunn burst in.

“Sorry I’m late.  Let’s get this thing started,” the drummer said as he settled behind his set, getting the drums ready for the night.

Will grabbed his guitar and waited for the rest of the band to get ready.  Maybe if they hurried and the set went well, he could get home early and call Angel.  The thought put a smile on his face for the rest of the evening.

The End
