~Part: 1~
Spike was bored. He was beyond bored. He needed something to amuse himself with. Smirking, he made his way to Angel's office. Opening the door, he saw Angel and Wes talking.
Angel looked up when he heard his office door open. He had instructed Harmony that he didn't wish to be disturbed. Not that she actually listened to anything he had to say. Seeing Spike, the muscles in his body tightened. He didn't have time to argue with his childe. "Get out, Spike."
Spike raised his eyebrow at his Sire's command. "No hello, Spike?"
"I'm in the middle of a meeting."
Spike looked at Wes and then at Angel. "Yeah, I see that." Walking over to a chair on the other side of the room, he sat down. "Was I supposed to care about that?"
He just glared at Spike. "I'm working."
"Right," he scoffed. "How could I forget? An evil vampire running an even more evil law firm to protect the demons of L.A." He knew he was getting under Angel's skin. "What a hero," he mocked.
"I don't have time for this," Angel mumbled. "Spike, just leave."
"Not bloody likely. This is at least a step up from boredom."
"I have work."
Spike started shaking his head. "You're a vampire, Angel. We fight. We feed. We DON'T do paperwork!"
"You done now?"
"Haven't even started, mate." Standing up, he started towards the two men.
Angel stood up and took a couple of steps toward Spike. "Are you leaving or not?"
"Don't really feel like it," Spike shrugged.
"Keep annoying me and I'll reconsider staking you."
"You already staked me about a century ago," he smirked. "Remember? Although you were Angelus back then." His eyes gazed over his Sire's body. "Of course you were wearing much less at the time. Buggered me good and proper, you did." Spike saw Angel's eyes flash golden and a wave of satisfaction went through him.
Wesley stood up; deciding now was a good time to leave. "Perhaps I should be going, Angel. We'll continue this later." Before he could give the vampire a chance to say anything, he left.
Hearing the door click, Angel spoke up, trying to push back his demon. "What do you think you're doing, Spike?"
"Apparently livening up your unlife, mate."
"I swear I'm going to."
"To what? It's not like you're my real Sire. You sure as hell don't act like it."
Before Angel realized what he was doing, he reached out and grabbed Spike by his collar. He was furious and saw red. Dragging Spike out of the office, he ignored his cries of protest. "I'll show you a real Sire," he told him in a low and deadly tone that only the two of them could hear.
