ÆÆÆÆÆÆ
I didn't hear you leave
I wonder how am I still here
And I don't want to move a thing
It might change my memory
Willow Rosenberg could feel the warm sunlight
dancing across her face as she
slowly got up, brushing the cobwebs out of her
face. Cobwebs? Willow
screamed silently, she hated spiders and frogs
and cobwebs, they were just
to gross. Her surroundings were almost
black except for a small patch of
sunlight. She knew where she was; she had
spent the night with Spike. But
where was he? It wasn't like him to be
gone during the day. He might
disintegrate in the sunlight. Willow tried
to push the visual out of her
mind.
Spike had been so sweet to her ever since Oz left.
Buffy couldn't see the
pain and fear in her eyes, but he could.
Spike sensed fear; he was a
vampire, creature of the night, and a really
good lover.
Oh I am what I am
I'll do what I want
But I can't hide
I won't go
I won't sleep
I can't breathe
Until you're resting here with me
I won't leave
I can't hide
I cannot be
Until you're resting here with me
Willow paced around the crypt, tidying things
up to keeps her self-calm.
Where was he? She needed him so much right
now. He was her protector,
Buffy, the Vampire Slayer and her best friend,
couldn't even come close to
attaining that particular job.
The door to the crypt opened slightly and Spike
was standing there, hiding
under a dark black cloak.
"Where did you go?" Willow asked softly.
Spike produced a French Vanilla cappuccino and
a bag of pig's blood.
"Breakfast in bed."
"You could have turned into a pile of dust!" Tears
began to roll down the
witch's cheeks.
Spike set the coffee and blood down and embraced
her, kissing her salty
tears. "Don't cry, Red. I can't stand
to see you cry."
"I was so worried," Willow's voice was laced with fear.
"I'm here now," Spike replied.
I don't want to call my friends
They might wake me from this dream
And I can't leave this bed
Risk forgetting all that's been
Willow had yet to tell her friends about this
relationship. Buffy and
Xander would highly disapprove. Well, maybe
not Xander, he was to wrapped
up in Anya to actually care. Buffy had
Riley, her precious little Iowa
farmer, and Willow had Spike. She didn't
want to see it any other way. She
wanted to be with Spike that wasn't so much to
ask, was it?
