My tea's gone cold
I'm wondering why
I got out of bed at all
The morning rain clouds up my window
And I can't see at all
Even if I could, it'll all be gray
But your picture on my wall
Reminds me that it's not so bad
-Dido, Thank You

Spike grumbled as he looked through another one of Giles' old musty
books,
how he hated research! Apparently some sort of demon was about to 'rise'
and
Giles had told them all to pull an all nighter to find out what it
was and
what its intentions where; which completely ruined his plans with Willow.
Looking over at the redhead, he could tell she wasn't having the best
time
but she wasn't going to complain, she never did. "All in the name of
the
Slayer huh luv?" He whispered leaning down to her ear as he began to
slowly
nibble on it, causing her to lean into him and put her arms around
his neck.
"Eww! Get a room!" Dawn yelled, breaking the two apart as Spike gave
Dawn the
look of death. "Like you scare me! You can't even bite people!" She
replied
sticking her tongue out at him. Spike was about to rebuttal but Buffy
and
Riley walked in, obviously fighting about something.
"I just...I've never heard of them! Why would I go see them in concert?"
Buffy
asked, a little annoyed.
"To enlighten you in music other then what they play at the Bronze!"
Riley
had gone through a lot to get the tickets and now she didn't want to
go?
"What concert?" Willow asked interested, Riley's choice in music wasn't
exactly horrible.
"Save Ferris-" Riley was cut off my Willow jumping up from her chair
and
running over to him.
"Save Ferris? SAVE FERRIS? How the hell did you manage to get those?
I tried
for weeks, but the club they're playing at is so elite and rejected
me so
many times that I couldn't get them." Willow said in two seconds, turning
to
Buffy she said, "how can you not like them? Are you crazy? You have
to go!"
"Gee Will, didn't know that you liked them so much! Well, why don't
you go?"
Buffy said, at least someone could enjoy the concert.
"Really?" Willow asked just as Spike said, "Over my dead body!" They
all
looked at him oddly. "Willow is not going to some concert with Army
Boy! I
won't allow it!" He said sternly standing up.
"Won't allow it?" Willow asked with venom and giving him a murderous
look.
"What do you mean 'won't allow it'?"
"Well, I," Spike stuttered, Willow was beginning to scare him, "I forbid
it!"
He said trying to sound mean, when in reality he was scared and really
hoping
that she wasn't going to kill him.
"Forbid?" Willow asked stalking towards the blonde vampire, two could
play at
this game! "And how, might I ask, will you be stopping me?"
Spike opened his mouth once or twice trying to think of a good reason.
"I-I'll ya know, do that special thing that I always do." Lame.
"Which is?" He so wasn't going to win this.
"Well…" Spike thought for a long minute. "I'll…oh
bloody hell! Just go with
him all ready." Willow smiled big and gave him a huge kiss on the cheek.
"So, what time are you picking me up?" She asked looking at Riley.
**
Spike watched Willow closely as she got ready for the concert, if it
was his
choice she'd be going in long pants and a baggy sweat shirt, but that
wasn't
the case. She was wearing black dress pants, black shoes and a lavender
tank
top with strings in the back and this frilly stuff on the front; all
in all
he hated it. Sure, she looked amazing, but it wasn't for him!
Willow noticed Spike's discomfort and turned to him. "Will you stop
worrying
so much? I'll be perfectly fine with Riley!"
"Oh of course you will be! Perfectly fine-." Spike mumbled back.
"Are you jealous?"
He question shocked him a bit. "Hell no! I'm just...yea I'm jealous."
He said
looking down, he didn't show his fears to anyone other then Willow
and this
scared him, he didn't want to lose her. "I love you, I don't want you
to
leave me for some human."
"Oh, honey!" Willow said sweetly as she walked over to where Spike was
sitting. "You're never gonna lose me, ever! I love you too." She kissed
him
softly on the lips, which he deepened, bringing her as close as possible.
They where interrupted by a knock at the door.
Riley stood there in a dress pants and a white shirt. "Hey! Ready?"
He asked,
noting the look Spike was giving him.
"Yeah, let's go." She turned back to Spike. "Don't worry."
Spike watched them both go and got a feeling of dread in the pit of
his
stomach, he hoped that everything would go all right.
