Summary:  It’s Thanksgiving and Willow admires her lover.

Author’s Note:  I was listening to my clip from Pangs.  And decided to write this.  Has nothing to do with Pangs, but hey.  Happy Thanksgiving everyone (though I don’t actually seem to celebrate it, we had a Shepard’s Pie today) and I hope you all had a wonderful day.

Willow slowly opened her eyes.  Happiness immediately filled her.  It was going to be a wonderful day, she could feel it.

She rolled over to face her lover, who’s arm was currently trapping her in the bed.  She couldn’t help but smile at how peaceful he looked.  It wasn’t often that she got to see him like this.  Normally he had so much energy that he woke long before her, but today she got the chance to watch him as he slept.

He was perfection.  A solid mass of masculine beauty.  And he was hers.  All hers.  And had been for almost a year now.

She loved everything about him.  His hair that fell in messy curls before he slicked it back.  His cheekbones that she teased were sharp enough to cut through solid steel.  His lips.  Goddess his lips, that felt so wonderful against hers.  His shoulders, his chest, his arms his thighs. Most importantly though, his eyes.  They were hidden from her view now, but she could see the icy blue darkened with lust gazing at her in her mind’s eye.  Those eyes that could hold so many different emotions, or be masked over with indifference were what she love the most about her lover’s body.

Though his penis came in a close second.

Willow blushed at that thought, even though she knew she shouldn’t.  After all the sex they had had, just thinking about it still made her turn bright red.  She was getting better though.  It took twice as much to make her blush now than it did at the start of their relationship.  She was trying to stop, but her lover said it made him hot, so she figured it wasn’t all that bad.

She snuggled closer to his cold body, loving the feel of him against her.  She could never get too much of him.  She placed a light kiss against his lips, and couldn’t help but smile again when the eyes she loved so much opened and gazed at her, full of love and adoration.

Her light kiss quickly became a passionate one.  She just couldn’t help herself.  For all of the things he made her feel, the feeling that she was loved affected her the greatest.  It ignited a great passion in her.

They eventually broke apart and just snuggled.  There would be time for other things later.  “How long have you been awake?” she asked him.

“Mmm I woke when you did luv, “ Spike answered running a hand through his love’s silky red strands.

“And you didn’t make a move.  You naughty boy,” she giggled in return.

“Not bein’ naughty at the moment, pet.  But if you want—“

“No.  Right now I want to just hold you and be thankful.”

“Thankful bout what?”

“That you’re here.  That you love me.  You know today marks the day that you became a regular part of my life.”

That confused Spike a little.  “Did it now luv?”  He tried to remember what day it was.

“Of course silly.  Today is Thanksgiving.  It’s the day you first came to us for help.”

Oh so that was what it was.  Spike smiled a bit remembering the day.  Sure it wasn’t one of the best moments of his life, the chip and all, but it was an alright day.  And hey, if it made him a regular part of Willow’s life then he had better be remembering it with happiness.  “Well if it’s Thanksgiving, I guess I better show what I’m thankful for.”

“And what would that be?”  Willow questioned.

The redhead suddenly found herself pinned under the vampire.  “You.”

And with that Spike proved just how thankful he was.  Repeatedly.

The End.
