~Part: 11~
Spike was walking back to his crypt thinking about everything Willow and Buffy had talked about. He wasn't so sure about the Slayers take on things. He would be damned, again, before admitting to anyone even himself that he was insecure. Especially when it came to Angelus! He was seriously starting to fall for the girl, now that he'd heard her admit to being in love with him. Hell, Buffy even sort of admitted her involvement with him. Not in any detail mind you but still. He wanted to go back to the house and crawl in bed with his Willow, but he wouldn't. He decided that if she wanted him then she'd have to come to him. Having made that decision he went into his crypt to sleep the day away. Just as he was closing the door he was hit from behind. Spike never saw who his attacker was as he passed into darkness.
When Willow woke up it was almost noon. She dragged herself out of bed and went downstairs to the kitchen. Buffy was already up and making coffee.
"Morning Wills. Want some coffee?"
"Uhg. Please."
"Someone didn't sleep well."
"I had the worst sleep. I kept tossing and turning, I was hot and uncomfortable. I just couldn't sleep."
"Mmm? Mabey you were missing someone in the bed with you? A nice cold someone?"
"Yeah, but it's more than that. Something just feels....off. Like there's something not right, I don't know how to explain it."
"Mabey you need to talk to Spike, tell him that you love him."
"Mabey."
"Look, I'm going to say something that will probably shock you and you might hate me for it but I have to tell you. Okay?"
"You can tell me anything, I'd never hate you Buffy."
"Remember you said that. Here goes. When I first came back, after being dead, I was lost. You remember? I didn't tell you guys about heaven or anything. I talked to Spike, he understood the whole being dead and buried thing. He loved me, or he thought he did. Well, I needed....I'm not sure what I needed but Spike was there. I used him in the worst way possible. I teased him, hit him, insulted him. Then I had sex with him. I never loved him, hell I don't think I even liked him that much. I just needed someone to make the pain go away. I hurt him. Badly."
"Oh, Buffy. You? You and Spike?"
"Yeah. I never meant for it to happen. I finally realized that I wasn't just hurting him by doing that, that I was hurting myself as well. I stopped seeing him. I ended it. He was pissed, but I think he understood why. He knew it wasn't him. It was never him when he held me, it was always someone else."
"Angel."
"Yeah. I took from Spike what Angel could never give me. It wasn't fair, not to him or myself. If you love him I think you should tell him. He needs to know. I hope you can forgive me. I realize it won't be easy."
"I don't need to forgive you Buffy. I'm not the one you hurt. Spike is the only one who can forgive you. You're right though, I do need to tell him, I think he needs to hear it. I'm going to go to his crypt today and talk to him."
"That's probably a good idea. I'll think about what you said, about asking Spike to forgive me. Mabey it'll help both of us."
Willow left the kitchen to shower and dress before heading to Spikes place. Just as she was heading out the door she felt wave of dizziness wash over her. She sat down on the steps and closed her eyes. When she opened them again she wasn't on Buffy's steps anymore. She looked around seeing that she was in a small room. The walls were sterile white, there was a table off to one side that held various medical devices. When she looked the other way she saw a large mirror that covered almost the whole room. she looked down at herself and noticed that she was on a bed only it wasn't her.
"What's going on here? Where am I?"
"Willow? Is that you?"
"Spike?"
"Yeah pet. It's me."
"Where are you? Why am I here but not me?"
"I don't know. I'm not sure where I am. You're not really here though. Just in my head."
"I can see everything. How is that possible?"
"What are you seeing right now?"
"The big mirror."
"Okay, that's what I'm looking at. I just woke up here and starting looking around, then I hear your voice in my head."
"Can you move? Did they strap you down or anything?"
"I can move, they must have drugged me or somthing though. I'm pretty dizzy."
"I know, I can feel it. What happened?"
"I went home last night, walked into my crypt and got hit from behind. That's the last thing I remember."
"Oh Goddess, this is all my fault! If you hadn't left last night this wouldn't have happened."
"Not your fault luv, I shouldn't have stormed off on you like that."
"Spike?"
"Yeah pet?"
"I love you. I just wanted you to know that."
"...."
"You don't have to say anything, I just needed to tell you."
"Okay, but we are going to talk about this when I get out of here."
"How are you going to do that? Do you have a plan?"
"Yeah, I'm thinking you take a nap and I wake up in a cheerleader costume!"
"Oh. That works for me. Can Angel be invited?"
"Very funny luv. Now get out of my head and go to sleep."
"Okay I'll try."
"Sweet dreams luv."
Willow Quickly stood up and ran back into the house. She hoped that she would be able to fall asleep in the middle of the day. She decided to ask Buffy to help.
"BUFFY! BUFFY WHERE ARE YOU?"
"I'm right here Wills, you don't have to yell."
"They have Spike, I have to go to sleep. You have to help me!"
"Who has Spike? How is sleeping going to help? And what do you want me to do?"
"I don't know who. I was in his mind, I could see through his eyes and talk to him in his head. I have to go to sleep and dream about him."
"Oh! I get it, but what do you want me to do?"
"Hit me!"
"What?"
"Buffy, you have to knock me out, I can't fall asleep in the middle of the day. If I wait who knows what they'll do to him."
"Wills, I don't think I can hit you."
"You have to! Or I'll hit myself with a bat or something and I would probably do more damage than you will. Please?"
"Fine, but remember when you wake up with a headache that you asked for this."
"Thank you Buffy! Now hit me."
"Sorry Wills."
That was the last thing Willow heard before she was hit by her best friend. Buffy Picked Willow up and carried her to her room and put her in her bed.
~Part: 12~
Willow was dreaming. She was standing alone in the middle of a large empty room. There were no furnishings, no people, no sounds other than her own breath.
"Strange? I'd have thought there would be a chair at least. I mean what's with the empty room?"
Suddenly a chair appeared out of no where. Nothing fancy, just a simple wooden chair. The kind you would find in anyone's kitchen.
"Okay...That's a little wierd. I wonder what would happen if I wanted a table? Oh, now there's a table. I guess I just have to ask for something in order to get it. Okay. I want Spike in a cheerleader costume."
"Bloody hell pet! I was joking you know!"
"I know but hey at least Angels not here."
"I'm not where?"
"Aw fuck! Did you have to bring him here?"
"William, nice outfit. Where's your pom-poms?"
"Fuck you Angelus! At least it ain't pink!"
"Willow, what's going on here? Where are we?"
"Um, well as far as I can tell we're in my dream."
"Then why's the poof here? I thought I was the only one you were sharing dreams with ?"
"I'm not sure? When I got here there was nothing, then I started complaining about how there should be a chair and one just appeared. So then I wished for a table and voila! So I figured that if I wished for you then you would show up too. I guess Angel is here because I said his name. I wonder if I talked about Buf.."
"Oh no you don't Red. I'm not gonna be stuck here with her as well as the poof! Especially in this get-up! Speaking of wich, do ya think you could wish me in something else?"
"Like a tu-tu?"
"No ya bleedin ponce! That's yer get up not mine."
"Ooh, how about the spandex?"
"Aw red! This is almost worse than the bloody skirt!"
"Sorry Spike, you just look soooo sexy in tight pants!"
"Why don't you wish him to dance? If we have to be here we might as well be entertained?"
"Angel! That's just mean!"
"Yeah Peaches, Red here wouldn't do that to me. She loves me."
"You do?"
"I do."
"Oh."
"So pet, what say you wake up now and get me out of that bloody white room?"
"I don't think I can yet, I had to get someone to hit me and knock me out."
"Who? Who the hell hit you, I'll rip their bloody throat out!"
"Spike! You can't, I asked her to. It was the only way to save you."
"The Slayer. Figures."
"I don't think she'll leave me sleeping for long."
"Can you wish me my bloody duster at least? I don't fancy waking up in this get up in front of bitchy."
"Her name is Buffy boy, don't you forget it."
"What ever."
"Okay guys, we need to do something to pass the time here so what should I wish for?"
"Smokes, and booze. Oh and some music."
"I'm not wishing for that."
"I still think you should make him dance."
"See luv? I told you he was a poof!"
"Am not!"
"Are so!"
"Am not!"
"Are so!"
"Get over it! The way you two fight is ridiculous! Why don't you just whip them out and we'll see who's is bigger?"
"..."
"..."
"Oh, Goddess. I didn't mean that! Put them away, Now!" "Be careful what you say pet. You might see something to make you blush even harder."
"Oh shut up! That wasn't funny, I didn't really mean it. It was just an expression."
"Yeah but the look on my sire's face when his pants fell was funny as hell, almost as funny as the look as yours."
"Shut up Spike!"
"Or what Peaches?"
"That's it, I wish Angel and Spike were both wearing grass skirts, coco-nut bras and doing the hula!"
"Willow, I really don't think this was a good idea."
"Why not? I'm entertained. You do a very good hula dance Angel. Not as good as Spike but still very good."
"I dance better than Spike."
"As much as I hate this, and I hate this alot! I gotta agree with Red. I dance better. You're too stiff."
"Am not!"
"Are so!"
"Am not!"
"Are so!"
"ENOUGH! Both of you! I really wish I would just wake up now!"
And so she did. Buffy looked up from the chair she was sitting in and saw Angel and Spike dancing the hula, she burst into giggles. Willow sat up and smiled. The two Vampires immediatly stopped dancing and turned to glare at the girl on the bed.
~Part: 13~
Buffy jumped up from the chair and stood btween the Vampires and the bed where Willow was currently hiding under the covers. The Vampires looked at the bed, then looked at the Slayer and then looked at each other. They nodded their affermation at the silent exchange. Angel grabbed for buffy as Spike leapt onto the bed after Willow. The two Vampires then proceeded to tickle their captives. The shrieks of laughter could be heard half way down the street. When they finally released their victims they were out of breath and had tear tracks on their faces. They looked at each other and then at the Vampires. They burst into a fresh fit of giggles.
"Wills, I gotta say you have the strangest dreams."
"I actually did that on purpose."
"Really? So it was like one of those controled dream things?"
"Yeah, It was kinda fun except for one part."
"What happened? Wills you're blushing! You gotta tell me now."
"Um? I'm thinking no. Definatly not. Burning the image from my mind as we speak."
"Hear that poof? She doesn't even want to remember what your co..."
"William! That's enough! Willow, I think it would be a good idea if we never speak of this again."
"Okay, I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to, I mean it was an accident."
"That's fine. It's done with , let's just forget it."
"Eh, not much to forget anyway, eh sire?"
"Spike, so help me I'll stake you."
"No you won't, Red loves me and if you kill me she'll be upset and then the Slayer will be all upset and she'll stake your sorry ass."
"There will be no staking anyone in my room! Spike, leave Angel alone. Angel, don't threaten Spike. Besides I wasn't looking and didn't really see anything anyways. And it was cold in that room so it doesn't count."
Spike laughed at that last remark and Angel glared at him with yellow eyes. Buffy took control of the situation and lead Angel out of the room leaving Willow and Spike alone. As soon as he stopped laughing Spike took off the grass skirt and coco-nut top. He flopped down onto the bed with Willow and pulled her into his arms.
"Thanks for getting me out of there pet. Even if you did dress me up in poofy costumes."
"Sorry, I couldn't help myself. It was just to tempting."
"Oh and I loved the cold room statement. Don't think Angel did though."
"I was trying to help. You know for such a big guy I thought it would have been...bigger."
"I'm not having this conversation luv. My sire's dick is none of your concern."
"I know that! I hope I never have to see it again, I'd much rather look at yours."
"Cheecky brat!"
"Yep, that's me!"
"I love you Willow. I wasn't sure untill yesterday but the thought of someone else as your life mate tore me up inside. I realized then that I love you."
"Oh, then why...?"
"Why didn't I say anything before?"
"Yeah?"
"Because I'm a stupid fool. But I'm telling you now, I love you."
"I love you too Spike."
"So. Tell me about this life mate deal. Do I have to buy you a ring and wear a suit and that kind of thing?"
"No silly, it's not a marriage. This is actually permanent."
"As in forever? You'll never leave me?"
"Never. But it means that you'll be stuck with me for the rest of your life. Your very long possibley thousands of years life."
"Sounds bloody wonderful to me. What do we have to do and when can we get started."
"It's a simple binding ritual. I 'll need someone who understands magic to perform it. We can do it as soon as we find someone."
"Then the dreams will stop?"
"Yeah, no more surprise visitors in my bedroom."
"Good, I don't want to wake up and find Harris dancing around the room in a dog suit."
"I could ask Tara or Giles to do it but I think it might be too strange."
"Agreed, the watcher would probably refuse on principle, me being a demon and all, and it's gotta be bad luck having your ex perform the cerimony. I mean Dru could probably do it but I wouldn't ask her either."
"That's good cause she'd probably kill me."
"I'd kill her first luv, I won't ever let anyone hurt you."
"Thanks Spike."
"Your welcome pet. Now what about the poof?"
"Angel?"
"Yeah, the git knows a fair bit about magic. He's here. Why not?"
"Um, the fact that I put him in a grass skirt and coco-nut bra? Or how about the fact that I inadvertantly embarrassed him about his man-hood?"
"Right, forgot about that, I guess we'll have to wait until we find someone else then eh?"
"Yeah I guess, I wish I knew someone who could do this who doesn't either hate one of us or is an ex-lover or was recently embarrassed by one or both of us."
"What about the whelp's girl?"
"Anya?"
"Yeah, she knows some magic, she doesn't seem to care who's shagging who as long as it doesn't interfere with her getting any. She's as good a choice as any."
"Okay, we can call her later. Right now I have other things I'd like to be doing."
"Really luv? Like what?"
"Well, I believe you promised that we'd finish what we started last night before Buffy interrupted us?"
"Oh yeah, so where exactly were we?"
"Don't remember, I guess we'll have to start at the beggining again."
"Sounds like a plan."
~Part: 14~
Angel had just finished changing into a pair of sweat pants and a T-shirt.
"Not that I'm not thankful, but where did these clothes come from?"
"I bought them for you. I figured if you showed up here once it was bound to happen again. Spike keeps clothes here too. Actually I think Wills bought some for him."
"Does he end up here often?"
"Yeah. Alot."
"Is there something between them? They seem...close."
"She loves him. Or rather she's in love with him."
"Oh. Why?"
"He's good to her, treats her like the most important thing in the world. Angel, I hope you won't interfere."
"Why do I get the feeling there's alot more going on here that I know nothing about?"
"Because there is. It's a complicated story and you won't like it. I'll tell you but be warned you won't ever look at any of us the same way again."
"I'll take my chances, start talking."
Buffy filled Angel in on everything that had happened, including her own relationship with Spike. Angel sat quietly throughout the whole thing. When she was finished Buffy looked up at him with tears in her eyes. Angel moved to her and held her.
"It's okay, it's not your fault. You were messed up he shouldn't have taken advantage of you like that."
"No, it's not his fault. I went to him, I used him. If anything he's the victim here. He did love me."
"No! Not love. He may have obsessed over you but it wasn't love. No matter how much he may have wanted it to be. Spike could never fall in love with you Buffy, you're the Slayer and he's a Vampire. I have a soul, my soul loves you not the demon. The demon actually hates you. It hates the soul for loving you. Spike may have a chip in his brain but he's still all demon."
"But what about Willow? Does he love her, I mean can he? She's a human."
"Of course he can. I...Angelus, loved Dru when she was human, that's why she was turned."
"Oh, well I guess it's a good thing that Willow's a witch then even if she stopped using magic. Spike won't turn her cause she'll live as long as he does if she binds herself to him."
"You're taking this rather well, what happened?"
"I guess dying made me realize that life is short. You gotta go with it sometimes. She's gonna do this with or without my consent. I don't want to lose my best friend and Spike's not so bad once you get to know him."
"Yeah well, I'd still like to stake him for just how well you know him!"
"It wouldn't change things, and it would hurt Willow."
"I know, that's the only thing keeping me from marching down the hall and killing him."
"How about we stop talking about Spike and you can fill me in on why you guys were doing the hula? Oh and what did Wills mean when she said the room was cold? What exactly were the three of you doing in her dream?"
"I'd really rather not explain the 'cold room' comment. As for the rest, let's just say that Spike and I were carrying on as usual and we got on her nerves. That was her revenge."
"I'll let the comment drop for now. Was that your only costume?"
"For me yes. When I first got there Spike was wearing a cheerleader outfit, then she switched him to the Spandex and bowtie number. I kept trying to get her to make him dance but she wouldn't go for it."
"Are you sure there isn't anything you want to tell me?"
"Ha ha, very funny."
"I know."
"I should really call about a ride back to LA, the gang there is probably worried about me. I was in my office when this all started."
"Okay. The phones beside the bed, I'll meet you down stairs when you're done."
Angel was on his way back to LA by the time Spike and Willow came downstairs. Buffy gave them a knowing look and went into the kitchen. Willow and Spike followed her.
"Hey Buff, where's Angel?"
"He went back to LA, some guy named Gunn came and got him."
"Oh, were we up there that long?"
"Yep."
"Time flies when you're having fun pet."
"Fun was definately had."
"So...you guys good? The two of you get everything worked out?"
"Yeah Slayer, Red and I are fine."
"I told him. We're going to ask Anya to do the binding."
"Why Anya? Couldn't you get Giles to do it or Tara?"
"No. Tara's my ex and Giles wouldn't be comfortable doing it. Spike is a demon after all."
"Oh. I guess I didn't think about that."
"Big shock there, the Slayer didn't think."
"Spike! Behave."
"Are you going to be ordering me around for the rest of my unlife? Is that how this is gonna work?"
"Yeah, pretty much. But I promise to make it look like you win once in a while."
"Ha ha. Very bloody funny pet. Make me look like a wanker in front of the Slayer."
"Buffy knows you're not a wanker Spike. Besides, I won't let her pick on you either."
"Fine, whatever. Call the demon girl and lets get this show on the road."
Willow called Anya and explained everything that had been going on. Anya was surprised that they would ask her to perform the cerimony for them. She agreed to do it out of frienship but mostly because she didn't like Xander waking up in Willow's room. They agreed to meet at Buffy's later in the day. Anya had a few things to pick up at the Magic Box for the binding. She called Xander and asked him to meet her at Buffy's after work. Once everyone got there they would begin. Anya was the first to arrive.
"Hello? Anyone here?"
"Hey, we're in the kitchen come on in."
"Where's Willow and Spike?"
"They're up stairs doing their best imitation of you and Xander. Dawn should be home from school soon so I hope they come down soon."
"Don't get your knickers in a twist Slayer. Nobody's doing anything to corrupt nibblet."
"Hey Spike."
"Anya."
"Where's Willow?"
"Takin a shower."
"Okay, we'll start as soon as Dawn and Xander get here."
"How long's this gonna take ducks?"
"Not long. The ceremony only takes a couple minutes. The after effects take alot longer."
"After effects? What kind of after effects?"
"You mean Willow didn't tell you?"
"No. But since you seem to know you tell me."
Just then Dawn came home from school and wandered into the kitchen. Buffy told her about Spike and Willow's upcoming bonding ceremony and the two sisters started talking animatedly about wether it was a gift giving occasion or not and what would be an apropriate gift for a Vampire anyway. Anya decided to take the opportunity to slip upstairs and talk to Willow about the after effects of the ritual and why she never told Spike about them. There was always the possibility that she didn't know about them. She figured she could have some fun if that was the case.
~Part: 15~
Anya knocked on Willow's bedroom door. Willow opened it and she stepped into her room. She watched as the witch finished brushing her hair and applying her make-up. Once she was finished Anya decided to find out why she hadn't been completely honest with Spike or if she truely didn't understand the full implication of the bonding.
"So Willow, why didn't you tell Spike everything about the bonding? If he is to be your life-mate shouldn't he know exactly what he's getting into?"
"What? I don't understand? What are you talking about?"
"I assumed, you being a witch, that you would know about the after effects of a life-mating ceremony. You do understand what thebond will do to both of you don't you?"
"Do to us? I...Giles told me about this, I never knew."
"Oh. Of course, now it makes sense. I mean you would never keep something this important from Spike on purpose."
"Anya! What the hell do you know that you're not telling me!"
"Mabey you should sit down. Do you want me to get Spike in here?"
"NO! Tell me what you know first, then I'll talk to Spike."
"Alright. I assume Giles told you about the expectancy thing, that you'll live as long as he does?"
"Yes."
"Okay, well there's more than that. Everything that he is you will become. Everything that you are he will become. You will share each others strengths as well as each others weaknesses. You'll share thoughts, feelings, memories and dreams."
"Oh, I don't think I like this."
"It won't be forever, just two lunar cycles. After that you will have the power to draw on each others strengths when you wish. It's a good thing, really! Think about it, you'll be able to use his strength and fighting skill. Also he'll be able to walk in the sun or use magic. There are alot of benefits."
"Yeah, I guess. But the whole sharing of everything, that kind of freaks me out. I mean am I gonna like act like a Vampire? Cause you do remember Vamp me right?"
"Yes I remember. She had a serious Xander fetish. I'm not sure if you'll actually share the demon or not. I would assume so, but if that is the case then Spike would share your soul as well."
"Oh, he is SO not gonna be happy. I don't think he'll go through with this now. I mean it was bad enough thinking that I would share his demon, but him sharing my soul? I need to tell him right away. Could you send him up here?"
"Sure."
Anya went downstairs and told Spike that Willow wanted to see him in her room. After he headed upstairs she walked into the kitchen with a huge smile on her face.
"Hey Buffy, Dawn. Want to hear something really funny?"
"Okay but this better not have anything to do with Xander or sex or the mutilation of the male species."
"Oh settle down Buffy! This is about a joke I just pulled on Willow and Spike."
"You Pulled a joke on them? Cool! About what?"
"Well Dawn, I just told Willow that after the bonding ceremony she would share Spike's demon for Two lunar cycles and that he would share her soul!"
"Why?"
"Because it's funny! They will share eachothers minds and dreams and thoughts, but not his demon or her soul. Can you imagine how Spike will react when he hears that he will have to have a soul for a little while if he wants to be with her?"
"I hope he doesn't back out on her because of this. What if he decides it's too much to give?"
"He won't. He loves her. He'll probably yell and bitch and moan for a while but then he'll give in."
"I hope your right."
"I am."
Just then they hear a very loud 'BLOODY HELL! NO FUCKING WAY!' from upstairs. Anya started to laugh as Buffy tried to cover Dawns ears. The two sisters cringed at the stream of curses that followed as the ex demon continued to laugh at her own joke.
"Oh, you two are no fun at all.! This is funny, but are you laughing? Nooo!"
"Anya! This is not funny, you may have ruined Willow's chances with Spike. You have to go up there and fix this. NOW!"
"Oh fine Buffy! If Xander gets here before I come back down don't tell him. He'll probably get mad at me too. Stupid humans and their stupid sense of humor!"
Anya continued to mutter to herself all the way up to Willow's room. She listened at the door before going in.
"I still don't see what's so bad about it! I have to share your demon too you know! At least you've had a soul before, I've never had a demon."
"What about last night pet? You certainly 'had' one then."
"Oh shut up. That's not what I meant and you know it. Besides it won't be for that long."
"But it's a SOUL luv. I don't want to be a prancing nonce like Angel. I refuse to start crying and brooding about my past."
"But Spike, it'll be my soul, not your's. I don't feel guilty about what you've done. It wasn't me."
"Alright. Fine luv, I'll share your soul. But you don't tell ANYONE about this."
"Okay, but we'll need to find a place to stay. I don't think we can stay here if we're both all demon having and soul having at the same time."
"Oh no! I'm not going to stay in LA luv."
"But Spike!"
"NO!"
"Um excuse me? Buffy made me come up here and tell you the truth. You won't share the demon or the soul. I was playing a joke on you. Not that anyone else found it funny, humans have no sense of humor."
"A joke? Anya how could you?"
"Oh, bloody hell woman! That's a good one, if it weren't directed at me I'd be rolling on the floor about now!"
"Spike? You find this funny! She made you think you were gonna have a soul!"
"Yeah! It's bloody brilliant!"
"See? Humans have no sense of humor. I wish I could have seen your face when she told you. I bet it was funny."
"You two are very scary! Demon humor is SO not to my understanding."
"Well pet after you live in my head for a while mabey you'll get it."
"Can we just get this started before I have a chance to think about that and back out?"
"That's funny pet. And you said you didn't get it."
"I was serious, really."
The Vampire and the ex demon continued to chuckle about the joke she had played as the threesome headed down stairs. In the time that they were upstairs Xander had shown up and he and Buffy and Dawn were waiting in the living room.
"Okay, everyone is here so let's get started. Willow and Spike need to sit on the floor across from each other. Good, now take each others hands. Right in right and left in left. Now, once I finish binding your hands with this rope you'll need to open your minds to each other."
Anya finished wrapping the rope around their wrists and began to chant. The couple on the floor in front of her opened themselves to each other. Her chant bacame louder as the force of the blending of their lives grew stronger. There was a blinding flash of light and the couple on the floor fell forward into each other as they both passed out. Anya opened her eyes and looked down at them noticing that the rope she bound them with was now gone.
"It worked."
"An, honey how do you know it worked?"
"The rope's gone."
"Okay. Not seeing the significance of that."
"The rope binds them in a physical sense until the bond becomes more of a mystical one. The rope dissapears from the physical and becomes mystical."
"Oh. Should we move them or leave them there on the floor?"
"Move them. Xander you get Willow and Buffy and I will get Spike. We'll take them upstairs and put them in Willow's bed. Then we should all leave for a while. When they wake up there will be much noise and lots of sex."
"Anya! Not in front of Dawnie!"
"Oh please! You think I don't know about sex Buffy? Willow and Tara lived here together. I know they weren't just friends. Besides, Willow and Spike are like married now right? So It's only normal that they would like do it you know."
"Okay, just wait here till we come down and we'll all go have dinner and see a movie or something."
"Hey! Mabey you guys could stay with me and Anya tonight, we'll have a sleep-over."
"Xander! Then we can't have sex!"
"Not now An."
"Fine! The things I put up with."
Once the passed out couple was put to bed the foursome left the house for dinner and a movie. Buffy decided that staying at Xander's for the night would probably be a good idea. Willow and Spike would need some privacy after all.
~Part: 16~
Willow woke up in her bed and wondered how she had gotten there. The last thing she remembered was sitting across from Spike while Anya performed the life-mating ceremony. She looked beside her and noticed that Spike was in the bed as well and that he was still sleeping. She decided to wake him in the nicest way she could think of. A while later when they were both fully awake and rather worn out from their activities the two decided to venture down stairs for some food.
"Hmm? I wonder where everyone is?"
"I'd assume that they decided to leave us alone tonight pet. This being our 'wedding night' and all."
"Mmm. you're probably right. And what a night it's been so far!"
"Yeah I could definately get used to this sharing thing. You think the sex will always be that explosive from now on?"
"I hope so! I mean, it was like I could feel everything you felt as well as what I felt. It was...wow!"
"Definately. I almost starting breathing at one point."
"Oh, and I had no idea how much you liked it when I did that thing whith my pinky."
"Nor did I understand just how good my mouth made you feel."
"Oh yeah, I really like that part!"
"Willow, if we don't go back upstairs right now I'm going to take you right here on the kitchen table."
"Last one up has to be on top!"
Willow and Spike both raced for the bedroom. Neither one cared who won or lost, knowing that there really was no loser in this race. As the hours past from night into day the two lovers were still so caught up in each other that they didn't notice the return of the house's other occupants.
"Okay, Dawn grab your bookbag and lets go or you're going to be late."
"Yeah yeah. I left it in the kitchen. Give me a minute. Geez, if you'd told me that we were staying at Xander's I would have brought it with me last night."
"Yes, fine. My bad. Blame everything on me, just hurry up."
A loud banging noise was heard from upstairs followed by muffled groans and screams. Buffy grabbed a smiling Dawn and pulled her out of the house. After dropping her sister at school the Slayer returned to her home hoping that the newlyweds were up and out of bed.
"Hello? I'm home! Slayer in the house, don't be making with the happy noises."
"Buffy! We're in the kitchen. Sheesh, it's not like we're sex maniacs and can't get out of bed."
"Speak for your self luv. If you didn't need to refuel I'd keep you bed all day."
"I think I might have to complain if you tried that."
"Okay, too much information. Besides the noises I heard this morning I'd say you wouldn't complain too much."
"You were here this morning? When? Why?"
"Dawn needed her book bag, I pulled her out as soon as the thumping starting."
"Aw shit, sorry Slayer. Didn't know nibblet was here."
"Yeah well, I'm sure she's not scarred for life or anything. She seems to think you guys make a good couple."
"Oh! Hey Buffy, guess what? Spike and I are getting our own place."
"You're moving out Wills?"
"Well it's either that or Spike moves in here and somehow I don't see that working."
"True. I'll miss you. When are you moving out?"
"Later this week, Angel gave us use of the mansion. We're just waiting for the utilities to be turned on."
"Cool, can I come visit?"
"Of course! You're welcome anytime."
"Call first! Other wise you might interrupt our shagging."
"Spike!"
"What? I told you pet, if it were up to me we'd never get out of bed."
Later that week Spike and Willow moved into the mansion. They learned alot about each other through the bond they shared. Fortunately for both of them they seemed to accept each others faults as well as their good qualities. Spike finally felt at peace. Something he hadn't felt since he was human. Willow finally felt like she belonged. She felt truely loved. No matter what the future held for them they were ready to face it. together.
