It's not her fault she's so irresistible
But all the damage she's done isn't
fixable
Every twenty seconds you repeat her
name
When come to me you don't care
If I'm alive or dead
Spike was late. Again. Maybe he wasn't coming at all. Sometimes
he
forgot. Well maybe not forgot, but rather had something, or someone
more important to do. Willow looked at the clock it was eleven he was
supposed to be here at eight. She wasn't surprised he was late.
It's not like movie night was a big deal to him. It was just two
hours of making fun of vapid actors, bad special effects and horrid
scripts. She wasn't surprised at all, just hurt.
So objection I don't want to be the exception
To get a bit of your attention

But you don't even bother
For the first time in the six months of quitting,
Willow used
magic. She didn't mean to. The coffee mug just flew into the
wall
before she could stop it. < I don't know why I care.> Willow
thought
while pacing. She knew though, she didn't want to admit it if she did
that meant she would have to go the rest of her life without love.
<He loves Buffy, he always will> Soon a green plate followed the
mug,
she didn't care this was her parents house. Willow had moved
back in
a few months ago both her and Buffy agreed it was for the best.
And
Willow really couldn't stand seeing Spike pine after the blonde
Slayer. It made her sick.
Objection I'm tired of this triangle
Got dizzy dancing tango
I'm falling apart in your hands again
No way I've got to get away.
"Stupid blonde vampire!" Willow shouted to no one. This
was the
highlight of her week and Spike was ruining it by not being here.
Without magic she was back to being "research girl", Willow hated
going back to her former self and the the gang started to treat her
like the old Willow. Ignored until something needed to looked up,
researched or cataloged. The only person who didn't treat her
like
that was Spike. He always respected her and realized even though
she
didn't use magic anymore she was still a valuable part of the group.
It was that a genuine friendship began and movie night. Willow
started to see a side a of Spike that she didn't even imagine
existed. He was still a demon but he was as caring as he was
vicious, as genuine as he was deceitful, as gentle as he was harsh.
<Maybe it was an act. Maybe he was just nice so I could put
in a
good word about him to Buffy> The more Willow thought about it the
more it made sense. Buffy was all Spike cared about.
Next to her cheap silicon I look minimal
That's why in front of your eyes I'm invisible
But you gotta know small things also count
You better put your feet on the ground
And see what it's about
Willow knew she could make Spike happy. She accepted him for what
he
was, she would never try to change him never demand that she become
his whole world. Buffy would. The Slayer would be too much
and to
little for him at the same time. They would never work out, everyone
but Spike knew that.

It was twelve now and a glass table shattered by itself, the mirrors
in the hallway started to shake. <I'm such an idiot, I wait around
here every freakin Friday hoping Spike will realize Buffy isn't right
for him. That * I * am. > Willow shook her
head, and laughed at
herself. She would wait here till the day she died.

The house was a mess now, furniture was being over turned, and
silverware was raining from the drawers. Tears were streaming
down
her eyes. She loved Spike so much and at best the most she was
to
him was a sometimes friend. What hurt most of all was that he
was in
love with her best friend who could never really love him back.
It
was like some stupid, cheesy, demonic, soap opera. Instead this
was
her reality, this was her world.
I
wish there was a chance for you and me
I wish that you couldn't find a place to be
Away from here
Willow wanted to hate him. Wanted to hate him for being a fool
and
going off after some whiny blonde who wouldn't love him back.
When
someone who not only accepted but longed for him was right here,
ready to love all of him.
This is pathetic and sardonic
It's sadistic and psychotic
Tango for three was never meant to be
But you can try it
Rehearse it
Or train like a horse
But don't you count on me
Don't you count on me boy
She couldn't take this anymore. This was going to kill her one
way
or the other. The objects in the house were still floating and
breaking as she made her way up to her bedroom. Spike was going
to
have to find someone else's heart to break, he had already crushed
hers.
So objection I don't want to be the
exception

"Red open up it's me!" Spike banged on the door. His inhuman ears
couldn't hear anything behind the door. Concern filled him, Willow
was supposed to be here and he busted the door open. "Red you
there?" Spike asked. Possibilities of why she wasn't there ran
through his head, jealousy bit him when the possibility of her having
a date and not telling him came up. Everything stopped when he
saw
the state of the family room. The room where he and Willow had
spent
so much time in was beyond repair nothing was whole and pieces of
everything seemed to scattered everywhere. "Willow!" Spike shouted
running through the house. Every room was just at horrible, he
finally made up to Willow's room to find it condition as the others.
All her clothes were missing and so was her laptop and a few
pictures. Spike rushed to the phone ready to call Buffy to tell her
that Willow was missing, but he stopped midway when he saw a note.
