"Please, Spike," Willow pleaded. She stared at him while they sat on her couch. Even giving him puppy dog eyes for good measure.

"No."

"But it's."

"I said no. I'm a vampire, luv. Remember?"

"So?"

"So I don't celebrate Christmas or any other bloody holiday for that matter." He watched as her lips formed into a pout. "Besides aren't you Jewish?"

"Well.yeah. So?"

"Not exactly your holiday either, is it?"

"I like the family thing and the tree thing and the present thing."

"And you're Jewish."

"Yeah," she agreed.

"And a Witch."

"Yes, vampire undead guy. Would you?"

Truth was he enjoyed spending time with Willow. Enjoyed her begging to him even more. It always gave him nice images.

"Please," she tried again. "It's Christmas," she said softly.

He knew he couldn't resist her and he didn't want to. "Fine," he relented. "I'll help you decorate the bloody tree!"

"Yay!" she squeaked jumping off the couch. He stood up and felt her arms go around his waist. Spike smiled at the innocent gesture.

"So, where is this tree?"

Willow took a step back. "Well.I don't exactly have one. I kinda had an idea."

"Why don't I like the sound of that?"

"I figured I could get out a strand of lights and some of those icicles. The glittery ones."

"Yeah," he said slowly and carefully.

"AndIcoulddecorateyou."

"What?" he asked confused. "Slowly this time."

"I could decorate you."

"No way in bloody hell!"

"But I don't have a tree. And it would only be us. Everyone else is away or busy."

"Let me get this straight. You want me, the most impatient vampire to stand still so you can wrap lights around my body and toss something sparkly all over me?"

"Yeah," she beamed at him.

"Get someone else, luv."

"There is no one else. How about after I decorate you, I'll pretend to be your present and you can unwrap me?"

And in that one statement, Christmas took on a whole new meaning for Spike. He raised his eyebrow up at her. "Unwrap you, huh?"

"Yeah," she said shaking her head up and down. "Oh wait, I know. I'll be back."

A couple minutes later she walked back into the room with a red bow on the top of her head.

"See," she said pointing at the bow. "I can be your present. What do you think?"

"What do I think?" He walked over to her and pulled her to his body. "I think we skip the tree and I open my gift early."

"Huh?" she asked confused.

"You're my gift. You're not taking my gift away are you?"

"I didn't mean I was actually your gift, Spike."

The smile fell from his face. "Oh," he said softly.

"Spike? Do you want me as your gift?"

He looked into nervous green eyes. "Do you want to be my gift?" he asked softly.

She bit her bottom lip, wondering what to say next. "Spike?"

"Yeah, luv."

"You can unwrap your gift now, Spike." She took a step towards him. "Unwrap me."

"You sure?"

"I've wanted you for a while," she admitted.

Taking the bow off of her head, he leaned down to her ear. "Wanted you for so long," he whispered. Kissing her neck, he traveled to her lips and gave her the first kiss of the night, which was followed by more kisses, tender caresses and loving touches.
