What He Wanted
Thanks to the bloody chip, he was now stuck chained in
the Watcher's bathtub. He had been so close to finally
getting what he wanted in his unlife. All he wanted
was Willow. Killing the Slayer would have been a bonus
but he was really there for the Witch. He had chosen
her and was set on claiming her for his mate. Bringing
her back as his childe. He had been so close. Her
scent, the way her skin felt under his touch, it was
all instilled into his memory forever. And then it was
gone. Because of one bloody chip.
Deals
Spike couldn't believe he agreed to help them. They
were bloody white hats! Not like he had much of a
choice. He needed to feed. And it got him out of the
damn bathtub. No more chains. He gave them a bit of
information and he received a bit of cash. He didn't
like working with them but he wasn't gonna end up as
dust either. He was a Master. He would live like this
until he could get the chip out. He would buy his
time. And then he would have his day. One blood filled
amazing day.
Watching His Goddess
He had watched them for a while now. Watched them when
he was supposed to be 'researching'. More importantly,
he watched Willow. He saw how her 'friends' would push
her aside. They wouldn't even think twice about her
until they wanted or needed something. He would never
treat her like that. In his eyes, she was his
everything. Willow was his goddess. She had so much
power and he could see it. She would be magnificent at
his side. He knew in his heart that not only was she a
match for his demon but she was the fire that William
needed.
Tears Of Sadness
Spike stood in the shadows watching her. He could
practically see her broken heart. He watched her tears
flow down her face. As she walked through the
graveyard, he came out of hiding. "Fancy seeing you
here, pet."
Willow looked surprised. She wasn't sure why. It was a
graveyard after all. "Spike," she said calmly.
He felt more for this human than he had felt for
someone in a long time. "You're upset, luv. You
shouldn't be walking through the night. Demons can
smell your emotions, pet."
Willow couldn't stop her tears. "Does it even matter
anymore?" Looking away from Spike, she wiped her tears
away.
Friendship
Over the next month, Spike had become friends with
Willow. 'Imagine me friends with a human.' He knew it
wasn't just about friendship though. He wanted more.
He wanted her. He just didn't know how to tell her.
Hearing the crypt door open and her scent in the air,
he smiled. Spike turned around. "Hello, Red."
"Hey, Spike," she said happily. She knew she had
gotten quite attached to the vampire.
"We need to talk."
She had been preparing herself for this one moment.
The moment when Spike would tell her their friendship
is over. That he didn't have time for her. That he
didn't want her around.
Ignoring The Obvious
Another two weeks had passed. They never got around to
the talk. Willow had told him she suddenly had to
leave and had tried to ignore him ever since. So far
so good, but she knew it would only be a matter of
time before their paths would meet again. She had
managed to stay away from him but he had managed to
work his way into her mind and into her.heart. She
grabbed her bag and started for home, trying not to
think about how much she missed him. And how much she
hoped he missed her.
Truths?
Willow unlocked her front door but never got the
chance to shut it. The next thing she knew, she was
being pushed against the wall, as the door was kicked
shut. "Ignoring me isn't nice, luv."
Willow had fear for a moment before she relaxed. At
the moment she was caught between the wall and Spike.
"I've just been busy."
"And now you're not." Spike lowered his voice. "I've
missed you, luv," he said softly. "Missed you a lot
actually. Did you miss me?"
Willow looked at the ground. "Yes. But what's the
point. You're just going to leave."
The Talk
Spike froze at her words. "Why the bloody hell would I
leave you?"
"Because."
"I really think we need to have that talk."
"Just say it then."
"Right, then I will." Spike started pacing the floor.
"It's like this.well, you see.well, I.bugger this," he
whispered. Spike took a step towards her and leaned
forward, pressing his lips to hers. He felt a hand on
his chest and he waited. Waited to be pushed away.
Waited for the inevitable, but it never came. Her hand
dropped to her side and he took that chance to deepen
the kiss between them.
Kiss
Willow felt him pull away when she was almost out of
breath. "Why did you do that?" she panted.
"Because I want you. That's what the talk was about.
If it weren't for this bloody chip, you would have
already been mine. I want you for mine. I want to kiss
you and touch you and worship you and claim you, if
you'll have me." And all Spike heard was silence. "I
shouldn't of.please say something, luv," he pleaded.
Willow started to grin. Spike wanted her! "I think you
should kiss me again." And he met her request.
After The Kiss
Kisses of want turned into kisses of need. She met his
passion and he knew that this moment was theirs. He
needed her and hoped that he didn't push her away. He
tore off her clothes, needing to feel her. Before she
could say anything, he also slipped out of his own and
was rewarded with a smile from her. Spike leaned down
and kissed her neck gently, the way a lover would. He
wanted to fuck her there, against the wall but he knew
she was better than that. Deserved better than that.
Picking her up, he carried her to her bedroom.
The Moment Everything Changes
Spike layed her down on the bed. "Are you sure?"
"Yes."
He knew she was ready, the scent of her arousal thick
in the air. As he pushed inside her, their eyes locked
and they both knew everything would change from this
point forward. He continued to slide in and out of
her, keeping a steady pace. As she raised her hips to
meet his, he couldn't help but to lower his head to
her neck, purring against her skin. He knew they
wouldn't last long. This was something that had
building up in both of them for some time. Feeling
himself on the edge, he bit into her neck, hearing her
whisper the words 'I love you'.
Reality
As Spike lapped at the bite mark, he tried to bring
himself back to reality. "You bit me," she whispered.
"I claimed you. You're mine."
Willow's body filled with worry. "Did you mean to
claim me? I mean."
"Did you mean what you whispered? Do you really love
me?"
"Yes," she whispered softly. "I meant it. I love you."
And then Spike felt like William all over again.
Except this time he wasn't reciting poetry and pining
after someone who would never love him. This time was
with Willow. A woman that loved him. "I love you too."
Willow's eyes widened. "Really?" she asked, her voice
hopeful.
"Forever."
Us
Spike grinned as months went by. Her friends never did
figure out that there was a growing relationship
between the redhead and the vampire. He had decided
early on, he didn't want it just to be about sex. He
had claimed her and was now in love with her. And he
knew she was in love with him. Most nights, he would
stay with her in her home. Now that he had Willow, he
didn't think about the chip that much anymore. He knew
it would short out eventually and he would take her as
his childe. He also knew he had forever to do that.
The Surprise
Six months down the road, her friends were still
oblivious and would have stayed that way except for
one little thing. Angel. His Sire. Spike didn't know
he was in town. He didn't have a reason to concentrate
on their bond. Just as they opened the door to Giles'
flat, he was yanked inside and out of Willow's grasp,
and was flying through the air; hitting the opposite
wall.
After Willow's initial shock, she ran in after Spike,
ignoring the words of caution from Angel. She had to
make sure Spike was ok. Kneeling down to where he was,
she saw him move and smile. "Guess they're gonna know
something now, pet."
Angel
Angel wasn't sure what he was seeing. Spike was evil.
And Willow was acting towards him as if.she loved him.
"Willow?" Angel asked.
She glared her eyes at him. "You could have hurt him!"
"He could have hurt you!"
"He wouldn't."
"He would Willow."
"He wouldn't"
"Give me one good reason."
"Because he loves me," she whispered.
"WHAT?" everyone in the room yelled.
Ignoring them, Spike sat up and gathered Willow in his
arms, nuzzling her neck.
"I thought he hurt you," she told him through unshed
tears.
"Gonna take more than that to damage me, luv. Besides
I have you now. I don't fancy myself going anywhere."
Family
Angel listened quietly as Willow and Spike told him
everything that happened. He was quiet. Too quiet.
Giles had made everyone else go and patrol, leaving
the three alone.
"I see."
"Not giving her up, Peaches."
"That so? As your Sire, I could force you to but I'm
not." Angel turned to Willow. "You sure he's what you
want? Not that it matters. He's already claimed you."
"I know that I love him."
Spike watched Angel carefully as he stood up. "Well I
really should be getting back to L.A. Childe, I hope
to see you soon. And Willow, welcome to the family."
