~Part: 21~

Spike slipped the ring on his finger and looked at her, wondering what she would say next.

"The Gem of Amarra? How long have you had it? Why do you have it?"

"I have it luv because it's mine. I bloody well found it and it belongs to me. I got it back shortly after I escaped from those soldier boys."

"You've had it this whole time? But you helped us. Why did you do that?"

Spike shrugged. "I had the chip." He then looked at her more seriously. "Besides luv, you were here."

"But all the taunting Xander and Buffy gave you..."

"Was pure hell, pet. But one look at you and I tuned everything else out."

"But..."

Spike took a step towards her. "When you look at me Red, do you wish I was someone else? Do you regret being mine?"

Willow shook her head no quickly. "No, of course not. It's just..."

"It's just what?" he growled as he advanced closer.

Seeing his eyes flicker golden, she started walking backwards until she hit the wall. "I didn't mean to upset you," she whispered.

Spike let his eyes return to their crystal blue color. He turned her face towards him, getting lost in her eyes for a moment. "You didn't upset me," he told her calmly. "Now tell me. It's just what?"

"I feel so much emotion in me, for you. That scares me because I'm afraid you'll go away. You're chipless now and you have the ring. You could go anywhere."

"You're right about one thing. I could go anywhere." He took another step towards her, crushing his body into hers. "And anywhere I go," he said seductively. "You're coming with. Willow, look into my eyes." He watched as she met his request. "I will always want you. I will always love you. And I will never let you go. Ever. You're my other half, luv. My light. My everything." Spike took a step away from her body. "I want you to want me like I want you, luv."

"I do," she said quietly but truthfully.

He extended his hand and lightly touched her face. "I want to consume your thoughts, your very being."

"You do," she whispered.

Spike wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her to him. He placed his lips upon her trying to reveal the emotions he held for her. As she relaxed against him, he deepened the kiss. A few moments later he pulled away, taking in her flushed appearance. "We should go, luv."

As they walked outside, Willow stopped to stare at him.

Spike looked at her, concerned. "What? Are you alright?"

"Yeah," she smiled. "I just wanted to watch you for a moment in the sun."

"Let's get this shopping done so we can head home."

"Home?"

"Well I guess not home, but back to the house."

Willow took a deep breath. "You had it right the first time, Spike. It's home. OUR home."

After shopping...........

After they came back from shopping, Spike knew it was time. "Luv, I think we should sit down."

"What's wrong?" she asked while sitting on the couch.

Spike sat next to her, quiet for a moment. He turned his head to look at her. "I'm gonna tell you about the staking and the bonds and the rings. I'm gonna tell you everything."

"Now?"

"Now."

~Part: 22~

"I love you, Willow. More than anyone I've ever known. More than anyone I've ever met."

"Spike..."

"No! I need to tell you this. When I was staked," he started. Spike saw her body tense. "When I was staked, I went to this place. Don't even know where I was." Spike let his eyes cloud over as he recalled the events. "I was in darkness but I could still sense you. I looked down from where I was." He let his eyes clear up and then faced her. "I saw it all. Everything that happened right after I was dusted. Everything that was said. And I saw your tears. When your single tear hit my ashes, I felt myself being brought back. Brought back to you. I know why I didn't go to hell. Do you remember the night before?"

"Yeah."

"Do you remember about the blood?"

Willow nodded her head yes. "You let me drink from you and...and you bit me."

"Claimed you, luv. It created this bond. I don't know how to explain it."

"I could feel you, too. But when you were staked...I felt this loss like I would never be complete."

He sensed she was on the verge of tears. Spike took his hands in his. "There's more, luv." He took a deep breath. "It's about that ring you're wearing."

Willow became very nervous. "Do you...um...do you want it back?" she asked while trying to pull out of his grasp.

"Back?" Spike pulled her body to his and claimed her lips in a possessive kiss. "Never," he whispered. "That ring is yours always. It means that I've claimed you. That you belong to me. Accepting that ring means that you've accepted my family. That you're one of us."

"Us? But I can't be that. I...I can't be a vampire. I..."

"Luv, you don't understand. You're more like a human childe, if that makes any sense. You belong to me. That ring says it and that bite says it. I won't let you go." Spike heard nothing but silence. "You belong to ME!" he growled.

After he felt her tense, Spike wrapped his arms around her body; holding her to him. "I need you luv," he whispered. "Say something?" When he heard her silence, he only had one more question. "Are you leaving me, pet?"

Willow turned her face to look at him. "What? Why would you even think that?"

"Because. Because of everything that's happened. I should have told you everything before now, especially about the rings. I figured if you knew, you'd leave me. Red?"

"I could never leave you," she confessed. Willow pulled out of his grasp. "Spike, the creature that wanted to torture me...it wasn't..." She looked into his eyes. "It was Buffy."

Spike shrugged. "What's a Buffy. Wait, your friend Buffy? The Slayer," he growled as his eyes flashed golden. Spike jumped up and started pacing the room, mumbling to himself.

Willow stood up from the couch, watching the vampire in gameface pace. She just stood there until he noticed her.

"Red..."

"I know you want to hurt her."

Spike slid into his human features. "I wanna kill the bitch. I'm gonna kill her."

"Spike," she said with such emotion in her voice. "I need you to be here for me. I need YOU. Please don't go," she whispered. "Don't leave. I need you."

Spike watched as a tear rolled down her face. The emotion in her voice was overpowering. He rushed to her quickly, wiping away her tears. Being near her, calmed his demon. Spike crushed her body to his. "Never leavin', Red."

~Part: 23~

Spike leaned down to her neck and kissed his mark gently. "I need you too. So much." As he felt her fingers tracing invisible patterns on his chest, he tried to keep his voice calm. "You've been through alot lately."

"And you've been there with me," she told him. Willow looked down towards the floor. "I just want you to want me."

Spike tilted her head up until their eyes met. "Bloody hell, luv. I do. More than you know."

"Spike, I'm yours. I have your blood in me. I wear your mark. I accepted to share your life with you by accepting that ring. I'm your mate. Yours."

"Mine," he growled as he pressed his lips to hers. As he leaned back, he looked into her eyes; seeing love and acceptance.

When she felt him  nuzzle her neck, she whispered in his ear. "Spike."

"Hmmm."

"Need you. Want you."

"Luv," he started as he felt her hands slip under his shirt. "I don't think now...the situation you just told me...the sex could get angry, luv."

Willow pulled his shirt over his head and dropped it on the floor. "Don't care," she whispered. She leaned down to his chest and took one of his nipples between her teeth, biting gently.

Spike let out a growl and pulled her up, kissing her possessively. He pulled back and tore off her shirt, giving her quick and hard kisses along her neck and chest. As he continued to kiss her, he walked her backwards to the bed until she fell on it. With a smirk, he undid her pants and pulled them off, throwing them to the ground. Spike undid her bra and shed his own clothes quickly, joining her on the bed. He could smell her arousal and knew she was ready for him. "My mate," he whispered.

"Yours. Always."

Never breaking eye contact, he entered her in one thrust. As she gasped, he caught her mouth in a tender kiss. He stayed still, letting her adjust. When he felt her move against him, he started to thrust into her slowly. Teasing her with every movement.

"Spike," she begged. "Not slow." She looked into his eyes. "I'm yours. Take me." She felt his hesitate for a moment. "Now!" he growled as she scraped her fingernails along his back.

Spike let out a growl as he held her hands to the bed above her head. Roughly, he thrust into her. When he felt her legs lock around his waist, he sped up his motions; sinking further into her. He continued faster and harder, letting his demon take over.

"Spike," she whimpered.

"I know, baby. I know." Spike morphed and sliced his wrist, holding it to her mouth. "Drink, luv." As he felt her lips over the wound, she started to tremble around him. Feeling her take his blood and feeling her body around his, he couldn't hold it back anymore. As he emptied himself inside her, he bit down on her neck. Feeling his mate still drinking from his wrist, he bit down harder as she started to tremble. When they both pulled away, a strange sensation passed through both of them.

~Part: 24~

Willow started to see images. Flashes. Glimpses of Spike as a human. Seeing him with his mother. Seeing him recite poetry. Then she saw his turning. The very life being drained and them reborn. And dead innocent people. She saw only a couple of his victims.

Spike saw flashes of Willow's life before the Slayer had come along. Flashes of her with her friends. The way her parents treated her. Her magic.

After a few moments passed, Willow spoke up. "What was that?"

"A part of the bond."

"I saw your past."

"I saw yours too, luv."

"I can feel you, Spike. Your blood. What you're feeling right now."

"Part of it's the bond, the rest will pass. Get some sleep."

They both fell asleep in each others arms.

Hours later......

Spike woke up sometime after sundown. He knew Willow was still asleep and only one emotion ran through his body. Fear. Fear of her knowing too much about him. Too much about his past. Too much she could hurt him with emotionally. He drifted his fingers through her hair. "Red? I need you to wake up."

Willow opened her eyes slowly and looked at him. She reached for him, but Spike caught her wrist; pushing it away. "Spike, what is it?"

He climbed out of bed and pulled on a pair of jeans and a shirt. "This isn't gonna work, Red. Me and you, we don't belong together." He stormed out of the bedroom, leaving her behind.

The first emotion to go through her body was shock. It was followed by outrage. Willow pulled on her robe and went to look for the vampire.

"You think you love me Willow," he told her. "I'm a demon. A monster." Spike morphed and pushed her against the wall. Willow reached out to touch him but the only response she received was a warning growl. She growled back. Spike let his human features slide forward. He let go of her body and watched her slide down the wall to sit on the floor. "Willow?" he whispered. She just turned away from him. As he walked out of the house, he could smell her tears. She took off her ring and threw it at the door.

~Part: 25~

After she threw her ring, she wiped the tears away from her face. Willow got up slowly from the floor and made her way to the bathroom. Turning on the warm water for the tub, she dropped her robe to the floor. As the water started to rise, she turned it off and slid in the tub; letting the water soothe her.

As Willow was in the tub, Spike was right outside of the house in the garden. He was sitting on the concrete bench, letting his mind wander. <What the bloody hell am I doing? She's my mate. My unlife. And I just push her away. And the tears. She was crying and I just left.> Spike stood up from the bench and picked a small night flower from the garden and then headed back to the house.

When he opened the door, he didn't see his mate; but something did catch his eye. He leaned down to pick it up, realizing it was her ring. He tensed at her gesture and went to find her.

He followed her heart beat to the bathroom. When Spike looked inside the doorway, he saw Willow sitting in the tub. She was hugging her knees against her chest with her eyes closed. Spike went to the side of the tub quietly and kneeled beside her. He then reached out his hand, touching the side of her face.

When Willow felt the touch, her eyes flew open.

"Let's get you out of the tub, luv."

"Why do you care?" she spat out. "You said it won't work out, remember?" She looked away as her voice started to tremble. "You don't want me," she whispered.

Spike then realized the effect his words and actions had on her. "I will always want you."

"But you said..."

"I know what I said." Spike took a deep breath. "I didn't mean it," he whispered. "Let's get you out of the tub."

Spike dried her off and wrapped the towel around her. Picking her up, he carried her to the bedroom. He then placed her on the bed and brought her a pair of underwear and a tshirt. After she changed, she climbed in the bed and under the sheets.

Spike climbed in the bed with her and presented the flower he had picked in the garden. He leaned forward and placed it in her hair. He then smiled at her and took her hand. As Spike started to place the ring back on her finger, he looked into her eyes. "Will you still be mine?" He saw her shake her head yes. "I need to hear the words. Please, luv."

Willow knew she couldn't deny him. "I'll still be yours."

Spike slid the ring the rest of the way on her finger and pulled her body to his, just holding her. "I didn't mean what I said, luv. I didn't mean it," he kept whispering. "Mine."

~Part: 26~

Willow woke up hours later and found blue eyes staring at her. "Spike?"

"Do you still want me, luv?"

"What?"

Spike started drifting his fingers through her hair. "Do you still want me? After everything you saw about my past? About the demon and the man?"

"It's a part of you, Spike. I love you. Everything about you."

He nuzzled her neck after hearing her confession of love and acceptance. "I ain't never leavin you. We're forever, luv."

"Forever?"

"Eternity. You do want forever with me, don't you?"

"Eternity...I'm not a vampire."

"Not yet, I'm not ready to turn you. My unlife wouldn't be worth living without you." He saw her start to smile. "No more fears, Red. No more worries."

"Ok."

"You should get something from the kitchen to eat, luv."

"Are you coming with?"

"I have to go out."

"Can I go with?"

"Not this time."

"But..."

"I'm going hunting, pet." Seeing her facial _expression, he felt the need to say something else. He searched for that something else. "I'm a vampire, Red. A Master. It's what we do."

"I know."

"I'll be back in twenty minutes."

"Be careful," she pleaded.

"I'm a Master vampire, luv. It's the other things that need to be careful."

An hour later.........

Willow was pacing the main room when Spike still hadn't returned. She knew something was wrong. She could feel it through her body. Willow finally couldn't stand it any longer. She slipped a cross and some vials of Holy Water into her jeans. She then grabbed a stake and headed out the door, focusing on their bond. About ten minutes from the house, the bond suddenly became very strong. She could feel it throughout her body. Taking a few more steps, she came across an unnerving scene. She saw Spike laying on the ground in pain while Buffy stood over him, kicking him.

"Willow could never love you," Buffy told him. "She just handed you over to me."

As Willow heard her words, anger started to fuel her. "Senau te peos," she whispered. She watched as Buffy was thrown into the air and landed with a thud on the ground. "Like hell I did! I would never hand him to you."

Buffy jumped up and glared at her.

"Stay away from my mate," Willow growled.

"Spike can't even defend you against me."

"What did you do to him?" she seethed.

"Just a little temp spell I learned. It makes him feel like he has the chip in his head again." Buffy gave her a wicked smile. "Pain. Pain. Pain," she sung in a high pitched voice.

Willow looked down at her mate and then back at Buffy. For a moment her eyes flickered black. "Bitch, you have no idea who you're fucking with!" Willow used her strength to try and get into Spike's mind. "Spike?" she said only to him but Buffy heard silence. When she saw Spike turn his head toward her, she gave him a small smile. "Can you move?"

"Yeah."

"I'm gonna lift the spell. You do what you need to."

~Part: 27~

As Willow lifted the spell, she felt their bond full force. It wasn't clouded with spells anymore. Spike jumped to his feet and turned around to face the Slayer. "Well, well. Looks like your spell is gone."

"That's impossible."

"Let's test it, luv. Shall we?" Spike punched Buffy before she could react, sending her stumbling to the ground. "Consider this payback."

"This? Payback?"

"You took the one thing I love. The ONLY thing I care about." He saw Buffy start to try and punch him. He grabbed her wrist and spun her around, bringing her back against his body. "You hurt my mate. I don't look too kindly upon that. Now there's only one thing that could make things right."

"Wh-what's that?" Buffy nervously asked.

Spike slipped into gameface. "Your death," he replied. He bit into her neck, draining her body.

Willow watched what was happening inform of her but wasn't sure how to react. She watched as he drained Buffy. As he killed her.

Spike dropped the lifeless body to the ground. He stepped over it and advanced to his mate. Spike frowned as she stepped away from him. He let his human features slide forward and grabbed her quickly, pressing her body to his. "Don't be afraid," he whispered and placed a kiss along his claim. Spike let his eyes drift up from her neck and focused to her eyes. He could still feel the blood through his veins. Possessively he pressed his lips to hers, demanding entrance. As she obliged, he deepened the kiss. Spike sliced his tongue on his fangs and sliced her tongue, needing to taste his mate. After a few moments of tasting her, he leaned back. "We need to go."

"Uh...ok."

"NOW!" Spike grabbed her wrist and pulled her to the house in silence. After they entered the house, he pushed her against the wall. Trailing a finger down the side of her face, he leaned into her neck. "Need you. Need...my mate."

Willow leaned her neck, giving him more of an access. "Will you turn me?"

He leaned back, his eyes meeting hers. "When you're ready."

"I think I'm ready now. Make me yours forever."

Spike grinned as he took her to their bedroom. Her world would change tonight and his would be complete.
