~Part: 1~
Willow was sitting in the Magic Box with Buffy, her mind drifting back to last night. She had her back against the wall with her eyes facing the door. Buffy was sitting in front of her, telling her about...something. Truth be told, she wasn't really listening. As she watched her, she could see her lips moving but that was it. Willow made sure to nod when she thought appropriately and Buffy seemed to be content with that.
Willow couldn't keep her thoughts away from Spike. Away from last night. She knew that what happened was only a one time thing. And she knew it wasn't about her. He had just wanted someone. Hell, anyone would have probably done. But that didn't mean she didn't have a desire deep in her body for him. Desire? What the hell is she thinking? <It will never happen again. And I don't want it to happen again. Right?> Before she could ponder on these thoughts anymore, she heard the bell over the front door ring. As she looked up at the door, she noticed Buffy had turned around too.
When Buffy saw Spike walking through the door, she rolled her eyes and focused her attention back on Willow. "Can't someone stake him already?"
"Aw...Slayer, didn't know you cared."
"I don't. Don't you have any other interests besides annoying us? You really are moving up on my stake-worthy chart."
Spike started to smirk while he let his eyes gaze over Willow's body. "Actually, I do have a new interest." He caught her eyes with his and held onto the moment before she turned away.
"Good. Go. Far away from here. Find your...interest and do whatever. Just don't come around here."
"Actually Slayer, that's not bad advice. My thoughts weren't far from that exact thing." He saw Willow's eyes widened and took that as his cue to leave. Without another word, he headed out the door and into the night.
Hours later Willow found herself finishing up patrol with Xander and Buffy. After they decided they were finished for the evening, they stood there for a moment just talking. "Don't worry," Willow told them. "I'll be fine getting home. I'm not that far away from my house."
"I know. I just worry," Buffy told her. "Shopping tomorrow?"
"Yeah. What time?"
"Hmm...about eleven. We can get some lunch and then hit the stores."
"What fun," Willow remarked sarcastically.
"Please?" Buffy pleaded.
"Ok, ok, I'll go. I'll meet you at the mall at eleven." She saw Buffy's smile and watched Xander leave with Buffy until they disappeared around the corner. She turned around and started walking the opposite direction, towards her house. Willow was unaware of the pair of blue eyes watching her from the alley.
Willow hadn't even take five steps before she felt an arm go around her waist and another hand over her mouth to smother her screams. She felt herself being pulled into the alley. Willow tried to fight her attacker but it was of no use.
He leaned down to whisper in her ear. "Go on and fight, luv. I like the struggle."
Recognizing the voice, she quit struggling. Willow bit down on his hand hard and smiled when he let go.
"Minx," he growled. Spike pushed her roughly against the wall. "Want to play, do you?"
"Look, I'm not up for your games right now."
Spike smirked and placed his hands against the wall on either side of her body, trapping her in. "But baby," he purred. "I play so well." He leaned down and kissed her neck gently, hearing a sigh of contentment escape her lips. "Content, are we?"
"Yeah," she replied softly. "Wait no. No. This is not going to happen."
"And what is exactly you think we're doing, luv?"
"Nothing is gonna happen. No looks. No glances. No kisses. And no...no sex!"
"That's not what you were saying last night. You were begging for me not to stop." When she didn't say anything, he continued. "You do a spell, witch?"
"A spell?"
"Yeah, a spell. Wouldn't be the first time." Spike raised his hand and grazed the side of her face. "Can't get you out of my bloody mind. You surround my thoughts. And last night..."
"Last night was a mistake. I was...well you were drunk!"
"Wasn't drunk, luv."
"A little over half the bottle was gone."
"The bottle was only half full when I started."
It took a moment for that piece of information to sink in. "But...what...why...why did..."
"Why did I shag you? You were..."
"Convenient," she admitted sadly.
He grabbed her chin roughly causing her to gasp and look at him. "It's not like that. It's...I need you."
"You don't need me. You need someone. Let me go."
"I don't wanna." He pressed his body against hers. "I wanna play," he whispered.
~Part: 2~
"Play?" she asked him. "No...no. We're not...playing. I don't want to play," she told him but hesitated to push him away.
"Don't you?" He pressed his body closer to hers and smirked. "And you're fighting so hard against me, luv. The protesting is just too much," he replied sarcastically.
"Let me go," she almost growled.
"Not gonna happen," he told her seriously. "Ever," he whispered.
Willow rolled her eyes and pushed him back hard, watching him stumble a few steps backwards. "Don't. Just don't. We both know who you really want. You want..."
"Don't say her name," he growled. "I don't want the bitch."
"Don't play this game, Spike. Listen, last night we comforted each other. That's it! Don't read into it. Leave me alone." Willow took a couple of steps toward the end of the alley, only to find herself being gently pushed against the wall.
"Can't do that, luv. This bloody game ends when I say it ends, Witch. And it's far from over."
"I won't let you use me just because you're not with Buffy."
"Didn't you use me to forget about your witch?"
A wave of emotions washed over her. "You're right. I did. That was MY mistake. One I won't be making again."
Spike continued to pin her body to the wall. "And you think I'm just gonna let you leave. That I'm just gonna let you walk away."
"I don't want you, Spike."
"Is that what you're telling yourself? So I haven't crossed your thoughts all day? You haven't thought about what we did last night at all?" Spike took a step towards her, pressing his body against hers. "I thought about you," he whispered into her ear. "I thought about every bloody moment. The way you felt under my touch. The fire inside you." When he felt her hands slide up his arms, he leaned down and placed a soft kiss on the curve of her neck. "I haven't thought about anything else except for you, Willow."
Willow looked up into his eyes and saw them clouded with emotions. She let her hands slide up his arms and into his hair and pulled his head to hers. She then pressed her lips to his, showing Spike her need for him.
Spike took control of the kiss and deepened it, melting into her touch. The kiss started to become rough and needing. He tasted every bit of her, savoring the taste that was Willow. He let his hands glide down her body, touching her everywhere. When he let his hands start to glide, he had let go of his grip on the redhead. She could have easily pushed him away. Instead she drifted her hands under his shirt, along his back; trying to pull him even closer to her body.
Willow suddenly pulled away from the kiss and dropped her hands. "We can't do this," she told him breathless.
Spike took a step back. "Right. I've heard that speech more than once."
"We just can't!"
"You mean you won't. Tell me you didn't enjoy last night. Tell me I didn't touch something inside of you. Something emotionally." He waited for a response but never received one. "You weren't hesitant last night with me, luv."
"Spike..."
"Think whatever you want. This thing between us, this game. This is just the beginning," he told her.
"We can't do this. We can't use each other. I'm not her and I don't want to use you like that."
Spike started to get angry. "I only fucked the girl twice and you act...you act like I was in love with the chit. It's not always about love, sometimes it's only about a fuck."
His words hit her hard. "Maybe then that's all I was to you," she said softly, voicing her fear. She saw his eyes flash golden but she didn't care. Willow took a deep breath. "I don't want you there because you're convenient and I refuse to be some cheap thrill for you." She paused for a few moments and then started to walk away. Suddenly she stopped. "Even if I want to take comfort in you," she whispered. "Because I do." Willow resumed walking away from him and out into the night air.
~Part: 3~
Spike watched her leave the alley and closed his eyes for a moment. He had been so close. So bloody close and now she was gone. He reopened his eyes and took a cigarette from his pocket. Lighting it, he walked out of the alley and headed towards the crypt.
Willow made it to her house and slammed the door behind her. She never knew he could invoke so many emotions inside her. Walking over to the couch, she grabbed the blanket that was draped over the end and wrapped it around her body. As she stretched out on the couch, she kicked off her shoes and let her mind wander. She tried to push all thoughts of him out of her mind. She tried to forget what had happened between them. She tried to forget what had happened in the alley.
"Sleep," she mumbled to herself. "I just need some sleep." Willow lay on her side and closed her eyes, willing her body to rest. And for some reason she just couldn't. She just lay there, even after the sun came up. When the phone rang that morning, she glanced at the clock, noting that it was only nine in the morning. "Hello."
"Hey Wills, it's Buffy."
"I know, I know. Shopping at eleven."
"Actually I gotta cancel."
"Cancel? Shopping? Buff, are you feeling alright?"
"Giles has it in his mind that we need to up our Slayer/Watcher time. He called me at seven in the morning! Seven! Do you know anyone who was up at seven? No one but me!" Buffy took a deep breath. "Anyways he wanted me to ask you since we weren't going shopping if you could come and research earlier."
<That might get my mind off of him.> "Yeah, sure. I don't see why not. Are we researching anything in particular?"
"Naw. Just basic stuff. He's doing the full research watcher thing."
"Great," she mumbled. "I guess I'll see you soon."
"Yeah, if I'm out of the chains." Buffy didn't hear Willow say anything. "You know that was a figure of speech, right?"
"Yeah, Buff I know. I'll see you soon."
"Bye."
"Bye."
Willow hung up the phone and kicked off the blanket. Pulling herself off the couch, she headed into the bathroom, thankful for the hot shower she was about to have.
~~~*~~~
About three hours later, Willow walked into the Magic Box with her laptop draped over her shoulder. Seeing Buffy being grilled by Giles on the other side of the room brought a small smile to her face. It reminded her of high school.
Buffy couldn't believe Giles was acting this way. She had been the Slayer for a while and now all of a sudden he wanted more training. She rolled her eyes at this notion. As she turned her head slightly, she saw Willow. Buffy turned back to her watcher and cut him off in mid sentence. "Willows here and I am so in need of a break." Before he could answer, she jumped up and headed towards her friend. As she approached Willow, she gave her a warm smile. "I am so glad you're here. He's driving me crazy. And since this is my first break, let's sit down."
After they both sat down, Willow glanced at Giles and then at Buffy. "How long have you been training?"
"None. I've listened to him talk for three hours though. And he's making that clucking sound." Buffy saw Willow's grin and couldn't help but to smile. "Enough about me. Tell me about you."
"What about me?"
"You look like hell."
"Gee, thanks Buffy."
"What's wrong? Are you ok?"
"I'm fine. I just...I just didn't sleep that well. Actually I didn't sleep at all. And before you ask, I just had some stuff on my mind."
Spike had been standing in the doorway behind the two girls, listening to their conversation. "And what might that be pet?" he smirked.
As Buffy turned around to insult Spike, Willow closed her eyes for a moment. "Don't you have something else to do Spike?" Buffy asked. "Maybe sleeping or playing with a stake. I'm sure I could give you a few ideas."
"I'm touched that you would think of me, Slayer."
"Think about dusting you."
"Don't you have to spend some Slayer/Watcher time with Rupert?"
"Buffy your break is up," Giles yelled from across the room.
Hearing his order, she moaned as she got up. "I really hate this."
As Spike watched Buffy walk away, he took a deep breath and sat next to Willow. He watched as she grabbed a book and started to leaf through the pages. "Want something to drink, luv? Soda or something?"
"Not from you. If I'm thirsty, I'll get up and get it."
"Right," Spike told her with a nod from his head. After a couple more moments, Spike turned and looked at Willow. "You can't just ignore me forever."
"Watch me," she said softly. Willow focused back to her book until Buffy walked over to her.
"Hey Wills, it's time for patrol."
"Thank goddess, I can't wait..."
"You're not going," Buffy told her.
"What?"
"You haven't gotten any sleep. You won't be alert. And Giles thinks he and I should go. I swear this is torture." Buffy then turned to Spike. "Which means you stay here and watch over Willow." Without another word, Buffy walked away from them, grabbing a stake on her way out the door.
"Just bloody great," Spike mumbled.
Willow slammed her book shut and placed it on the table. "I don't know what you're all upset over." Willow stood up and grabbed her bag.
"Where do you think you're going?"
"Home and away from you."
Spike grabbed her wrist, ignoring the pain in his head. "Sit," he ordered her. When she made no movement, he tried again. "Sit," he growled. Hearing the growl, she promptly sat down next to him. "Since we're both stuck here, the least you could do is talk to me Red."
"I have nothing to say."
"How about why you didn't sleep?"
"You heard."
"I did. You had something on your mind."
"Yeah, so?"
"Something like me?" Spike asked hopefully.
It was at this time Willow realized Spike still hand his hand around her wrist. Quickly she brought her wrist back to her body, causing him to let go. "And why would you be on my mind?" she asked bravely.
Spike leaned back into the couch and took a chance. "Because you were on my bloody mind all night."
"Funny, Spike. But I don't like this game."
"Game? Is that what you think this is? A bloody game?"
"What else would it be?" she asked softly almost hoping he didn't her.
He saw her start to move off the couch when he placed his hand on her shoulder, halting her movements. "Maybe I thought about you all night because I WANTED to. Because I feel something for you."
Willow turned her head to look directly at him. "Highly doubtful."
"How far do you plan on pushing me away, luv? How long are you gonna pretend that there isn't something between us?"
"There isn't," she told him sadly.
"How long are you gonna try to convince yourself of that." Spike placed two fingers under her chin and turned her head to face him. "Don't push me away," he pleaded. "I need you, Willow. Always."
Willow stood up quickly. "I really should go."
"Red..."
"I don't want to be something you settle for, Spike. I-I can't be here right now." Willow quickly ran out of the shop and into the darkness.
~Part: 4~
Willow laid across her bed, her fingers grazing the comforter that was under her body. <Why can't I just forget about him? Why does he have to be this constant thing in my mind and why does he have to tell me he needs me?> She climbed out of bed and tore out of the nightshirt she was wearing. She slipped on a pair of jeans and a tank top. She then tied her hair back and grabbed a stake, slipping it into her back pocket and made her way out the door.
Spike was wearing only his jeans with the top button undone. He had shed the rest of his clothes and was now lying on his side on his bed, leafing through a book that had caught his interest. He wondered about the redhead. What she was doing now? And why was she continuing to push him away. When he heard the crypt door open, he put his book down and jumped up. Seeing Willow enter his crypt sent a look of shock to his face.
After she entered the room, she took the stake out of her pocket and threw it to the other side of the room. Willow glided over to Spike and put her arms around his neck, smashing her lips against his.
Spike pulled back for a moment. "What are you doing here?"
Willow let her fingers play with the ends of his hair. "I can't get you out of my mind." Without saying anything else, she kissed him again forcefully, begging for entrance into his mouth.
Spike slightly opened his mouth, allowing the witch what she was begging for. As he began to taste her, he deepened the kiss, taking control. The kiss was full of need and want. There was nothing slow between them.
When Willow felt Spike take control of the kiss, she reached for the zipper of his jeans. The kisses that were once rough and forced were now hard and quick. He couldn't get enough of her and she had no plans of stopping him. Spike leaned back when he felt his jeans pushed over his hips. He took the ends of her shirt and pulled it over her head, throwing the garment to the floor. "No bra luv," he whispered.
"Why bother? It would just end up on the floor." As she watched him kick off his jeans, she tore out of her own; feeling his arms snake around her waist moments later. As she felt his lips flutter across her neck, she needed to hear the words. "Tell me," she pleaded.
Spike halted his movements and looked at her. "Tell you?"
"That you need me," she said in barely a whisper.
He could feel his body respond to her with that one statement. He held her closer, pressing her body to his. He started to nip at her neck until he made his way to her ear. "I need you," he whispered. "I need you so much."
Hearing his words, she started kissing his neck, which only drove him crazier.Willow stopped kissing him and looked up into his eyes with a grin. She placed her hands on his chest and pushed him backwards until he was backed up against the wall. Willow reached her lips to his and started a slow passionate kiss that grew with need.
As Spike felt the kiss intensify, he let his hands glide over the rest of her body. He switched their places so that she was the one against the wall. His lips left hers and he started to nip at her neck. Spike felt her hands on the back of his neck. "Spike," she pleaded.
He looked up and into her eyes seeing the want for him. He slid his hands under her ass and picked her up, sliding her down on his cock. Their eyes never left each other. He took a step towards the wall using it to help him balance her as he felt her arms go around his neck. Spike felt her hands slip down to grab his arms as she started to kiss his neck. He growled lowly as he started to thrust inside of her.
Willow let go of any mental barriers that she had had with Spike. Giving into the sensations he was building within her, she started to moan his name.
Hearing his name on her lips, he quickened his thrusts, sending himself deeper inside her. "Spike...so close," she panted.
"Tell me," he grunted.
"I need you," she whispered. "I want you."
Hearing the words, he slowed down his movements, barely moving inside her. Hearing her whimpering, he placed a small kiss on her lips. "We're not done yet," he whispered. Spike walked over to the bed, still embedded in Willow. He laid both of them down on the bed as he hovered over Willow.
When Willow felt the silk sheets under her, she relaxed even more. "Spike...need you," she whimpered.
"I need you too baby." He let his tongue graze across her nipple for a moment before he kissed his way back up to her neck. He saw Willow reach for the headboard to keep her body still. He reached his hands up and interlocked their fingers, holding her hands to the bed. He started to move slowly within her, letting her feel every movement between them. Hearing her moan, he thrust into her a little faster. As he sank into her, she arched her body up to his.
Willow knew he was driving her crazy. She wanted him to just take her and he had turned it into something more. Something emotional. As she felt his mouth on her neck, she arched her back to meet the rest of his body.
When he felt her body arch, he let go of her hands and brought them up under her back, holding her close to him. "I need you always," he whispered. He felt her hands slide up his back and decided he didn't want to hold back anymore. "Tell me you need me," he growled.
"I need you, Spike. I need you so much."
Hearing the words spill from her lips, he started to pound into her. And much to his surprise she was meeting each and every thrust. "Willow," he moaned into her ear. Willow lifted her legs a bit, giving him a new angle. He sunk even deeper into her. As he heard her scream out his name when her orgasm hit, he decided not to hold back anymore. He morphed and shot deep inside her while holding her body close to his. As he morphed, he growled her name against her throat.
Spike collapsed against her after his orgasm had hit. His head was now resting against her chest. When their breathing had become normal again, he lifted his head to look at her. He slid out of her and climbed up her body, smiling when she leaned into him.
Willow turned on her side and stared at Spike for a moment. She smiled as he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "Hi."
Spike smirked. "Hi."
"I couldn't get you out of my head."
"Not necessarily a bad thing, luv. I haven't been able to forget about you either."
Willow didn't want the awkward silence she was sure that would follow. "I should go...back home." Willow sat up but was stopped when Spike placed his hand on her arm.
"NO!"
"Spike..."
"Stay with me for a bit. Don't leave yet. For me?" He watched as Willow laid back down on the bed. He draped the silk sheet over their bodies and leaned partially over her. "I'm not ready for this moment to end, Red. And it will when you walk out that door. We'll go back to...to whatever was going on before and I'll just want you that much more." He leaned down and placed a soft kiss on her lips. As he leaned back, he knew he had to ask. "Stay for a bit?"
"I'll stay," she whispered. After a few moments passed, she turned on her side and snuggled into his chest. She wanted to tell him that being with him made her feel content. Happy. Instead she said nothing. Deep down inside she felt as if he'd rather be with someone else other than her.
~Part: 5~
Willow woke up the next afternoon and noticed a cold body next to hers. She slowly turned her head and saw Spike with his eyes closed, his body molded to hers. She looked down at her waist and noticed his arm draped around her. Willow took a deep breath and carefully picked up his arm, placing it against his side. <I need to get out of here.> She sat up slowly on the bed, careful not to wake him. Willow glanced back at him one more time, noticing that he looked like he was still asleep and raised her body from the bed. Before she could move another step, she felt an arm snake around her waist and pull her back onto the bed.
"Going somewhere, luv?"
"Well...I...was...I..."
"Don't leave yet," he whispered into her ear.
"You want me to stay?"
"Of course I bloody well want you to stay."
Willow turned in his arms to face him. Spike saw the look in her eyes and knew what was coming next. "This shouldn't of happened," he heard her whisper.
Spike felt all of the emotion in him drain in a matter of seconds. "That right?"
"It just..."
Spike grazed a finger down the side of her face. "Did you want me, luv?" he interrupted.
"What?"
"You were the one that came to my crypt. Did you want me..."
"Spike...you know..."
Spike jumped out of bed and slid on a pair of jeans. "I don't know a bloody thing. The only fucking thing that I know is that you ACT like you want me one minute and then you push me away the next. I'm not something you can toy with."
As Spike ranted, Willow climbed out of his bed, quickly dressing. "Is that what you think I'm doing with you? You're SUPPOSED to have a thing for my best friend. And I'm SUPPOSED to be mourning my lover. But instead I'm here." She pointed at the both of them. "Doing this...with you."
"Can't stand the thought that you had sex with a demon?"
Willow was furious at this point. "I can't STAND the thought that while we were together, you could've been thinking about Buffy. I can't stand the idea that you could be comparing us...AND THAT I DON'T MEASURE UP!"
Spike expected her to say a lot of things, but THAT was not one of those things. He didn't know how to deal with what he was feeling, so he did what Angelus always taught him. To hurt the people you love. "That's what you fuckin' think? Get the hell out my crypt. I don't want to see you right now."
"Spike..."
"GO!" he growled.
Willow quickly left with tears running down her face. After Spike saw the crypt door shut, he started throwing anything he could. "BLOODY HELL!" he screamed.
That evening at the Magic Box.....
Willow was sitting on the couch when Spike entered the Magic Box. After locking eyes with her for a moment, he looked away. "Well, if it isn't all the Scoobies...and what are we researching tonight?"
"Nothing in particular," Giles told him.
"Didn't someone dust you yet?" Buffy remarked to him.
The only person he had come to see was Willow. Spike's eyes flashed golden. "Sod off Slayer," he growled. As he saw Buffy return to the conversation she was having with Xander and Giles, he walked slowly behind Willow. As he passed behind her, he let his fingers graze along the back of her neck.
The sensation of feeling his fingers along her neck, sent shivers through her body. She watched as Spike sat down on the couch next to her and opened a book, his eyes never resting on the pages.
Spike grazed his leg against hers 'accidentally' and smiled when he heard her heart beat pick up. "About earlier," he said softly.
"Yeah," she just as softly.
"I didn't want you to leave."
"But you said..."
"I know what I said. Unfortunately, there's a lot of things being unsaid between the two of us." Spike wanted to say more but didn't know how to form it into words. He stood up and left the room without another sound.
Giles looked around the room. <I wonder where Spike went to? I was going to send him downstairs for supplies.> "Willow?"
Willow looked behind her shoulder and saw everyone but Spike. "Yeah."
"There are a few items I need from downstairs. Could you go and get them, please. I have them all written down." Giles picked up a piece of paper, emphasizing his point.
Willow got up from the couch, took the piece of paper and started down the stairs. When she reached the bottom, she turned on the single light as her eyes widened a bit.
Spike was leaning against the wall downstairs, smirking. "Fancy seeing you down here, Red."
~Part: 6~
"Spike! What...um...what are you doing down here?"
He held up the cigarette he had been smoking. "Fancied a drag, luv. And you?"
"Oh...Giles sent me down here. Supplies and stuff. So...I'll be going there now. To get the supplies."
Spike watched her start to look over the jars. He then looked at the stairs and then back at Willow. Quietly and slowly, he came up behind Willow and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Spike! I have to get these supplies."
"I heard you the first time, luv. Did you really mean what you said earlier?" he whispered.
"A-about what?"
"That you think you don't measure up." He felt Willow freeze in his embrace. Spike placed a kiss on her neck.
"It's true," she whispered.
"Like hell it is." Spike took a deep breath. "Why do you really think we keep meeting up like this?"
"That's easy. I'm attainable."
Spike spun her around to face him. "Is that what you think?" he growled. "Is that why you think that me and you are happening?"
"What other reason is there?"
"How about that I want you? And I-I was kinda hoping you wanted me too, luv."
"It's just that..."
"Since that night in the graveyard," he interrupted her quickly. "Since that night you have been the only person to consume my thoughts. I know you don't believe me but I'm not giving up on you. On us."
"I should get this stuff ready and..."
"Are you even listening to me, pet? You're so concerned on blocking me out. What would happen if you let me in?"
"Why? So you can hurt me?"
Spike pulled her body to him, crushing her against him. His lips met hers in a rough claiming kiss. When he pulled back, he looked into her eyes. "I won't hurt you. I could never."
Willow tried to pull away but found she didn't really want to. "I need to go back upstairs."
"Not yet," he pleaded. "Let me?"
"Let you what?"
"Play."
Her eyes widened. "We can't have sex down here. Anyone could..."
"Not sex. Just let me touch you. Let me feel you."
"Spike, we shouldn't."
"But," he said hopefully.
"But I want you," she whispered.
That was all the encouragement he needed. As his lips descended upon hers, he pushed her up against the wall. He pulled away from the kiss, only to trail kisses along her neck. He bunched her skirt and let his hand drift under her skirt. Feeling nothing underneath, he smiled and brushed two of his fingers across her wet folds. Hearing her gasp, he resumed kissing her neck and slid his two fingers inside her. He started a very slow and torturous pace, barely moving his fingers. Spike's head popped up when he heard the door above them open.
"Wills, are you still down here?" they heard Xander call out.
Spike noticed that Willow had tensed when heard Xander's voice but wasn't moving away from Spike. "Get rid of the moron. We're not done yet."
"Wills?"
"Yeah," she moaned. "Xander, I'll be up soon. Just gathering everything."
"Need help?"
"NO!" she shouted. "Oh goddess," she moaned into Spike's ear. "I'm fine," she yelled back up at him. When they heard the door shut, Willow started rocking against his hand.
"Tell me, luv. I need to hear it."
Willow looked into Spike's eyes. "I need you." When she felt his fingers thrust into her more quickly, she leaned down and started kissing his neck. "I want you Spike. So much." He took a step towards the wall, so Willow was leaning against him as he continued. Every movement one of them made excited a set of nerves within her. "So close, Spike. So close," she mumbled over and over.
He added another finger, his movements becoming rough and needing. "I know you wanna scream, but I don't recommend it. Not unless you want an audience."
As she felt the tightening in her stomach, she looked down at his lower neck. As she felt the orgasm hit her, she bit down on his t-shirt, right below the neckline, hard. The bite muffled her screams. She could hear Spike growling at her while he continued his motions, letting her ride it out. When she let go of his neck, she found his lips pressed against hers.
As he pulled away, she started to apologize immediately. "I'm sorry. I didn't..." Spike smoothed out her skirt.
"You didn't mean to what?"
"Bite you. It was just..."
"A turn on."
"Really?"
"I'm a vampire, pet." He leaned into her neck and whispered in her ear. "You can bite me anytime you want. Anytime." He took a step away from her. "Well I better get back up there. I'm sure they have something for me to do. Patrol. Research."
As Willow saw him about to walk away, she grabbed his wrist and pulled him back to her. "We're not done yet," she whispered.
"We're not?" he asked her with his eyebrow raised.
Willow pushed him against the wall. "No. We're not."
Willow pressed her lips to his, while she undid his jeans. When she had them undone, she pushed the jeans down over his hips. "I wanna have a little fun," she whispered. Slowly, she made her way down his body, planting small kisses on his skin. She lowered herself to her knees before him and let her hot breath graze his skin. Her tongue reached out and barely grazed over the head. When she heard him groan, she drifted her tongue around the head of his cock in circles.
"Luv, you're killing me."
Willow smiled and slid her mouth over his length, trying to relax her throat. She felt a small shiver run through his body before she started moving. Slowly she let her mouth drift up and down his length.
"Willow look at me," he demanded. When their eyes met, he was turned on that much more. Spike drifted his fingers through her hair, guiding her; not that she needed any help. <Cor, the chit is driving me crazy. Biting me and then this. I'm not gonna last if she keeps this up.> He knew he was almost there and started to moan her name. "Luv, stand up."
Willow started to suck harder and grabbed the back of his thighs to prevent him from going anywhere. Spike couldn't hold back anymore. "Fuck," he growled as he came into her mouth. Spike morphed and bit into his wrist, letting the taste of blood and the feel of Willow surround him.
He collapsed, leaning against the wall, when Willow stood up. Spike zipped up his jeans and pulled Willow to him. "That was..."
"Fun," she smirked.
"That it was. I need to sit down." He slid down the wall and pulled her with him. He nuzzled into her neck.
"Spike?"
He tightened his grip on her expecting to hear the 'we can't do this again' speech.
"Next time...well...when we're alone, can I call you William sometimes?"
That was not what he was expecting. "Next time, huh?"
<He doesn't want a next time.> "I just thought...but if you don't want..."
"I want very much." <She's the one. She's the one that I was always supposed to be with.> "And I'd like it a lot if you called me William."
"I better get upstairs," she told him. He watched as she gathered the ingredients and climbed the stairs. Spike pulled out a cigarette from his pocket and lit it, thinking about 'his' redhead.
~Part: 7~
After the meeting at the Magic Box, Willow had returned to her house. She glanced up at the clock and saw it was one in the morning. She had been home for almost three hours. She sat on the couch and let her mind drift to Spike. Thinking about him brought a blush to her face. <I wonder where he is right now.> She stood up and turned, about to walk to the kitchen when her front door slammed open. Willow jumped and turned around, clutching her hand to her chest. "Spike!?"
His eyes flickered golden as he watched her for a moment. He pushed the door closed with enough force to almost break it. Pushing back the demon, he tried to keep his voice calm. "Take off your clothes, luv."
"What? Are you drunk?"
"Do. It."
Willow tried to appear confident, but knew he was still a demon. He could kill her in one moment. "NO!"
"Take off your bloody clothes before I rip them off your body," he told her through clenched teeth.
"Spike..."
Spike morphed. "Now," he growled. Willow started slowly taking off her clothes with trembling hands. She didn't know what happened and she wasn't sure if he was in control of his demon. As he saw her slowly undressing, he walked over to her. He grabbed her chin roughly, directing her eyes towards him. "Wait for me in the bed."
Willow nodded, her breath in short pants and quickly left the room. After she left, Spike closed his eyes pushing back his demon. When he opened them again, he looked around the room. He needed to hit something. He closed his eyes again and this time concentrated on Willow's heartbeat. It was soothing to his demon. That's when he noticed it. Fear. As he opened his eyes, he frowned. <The chit is scared of me?>
Spike quickly made his way to Willow's room. He saw her naked, lying on the bed, fear surrounding her. Her scent hit him and calmed his frazzled nerves. He made sure the window was covered up before he stripped out of his clothes. He then joined her on the bed.
As he climbed onto the bed, he noticed the fear getting stronger. Spike didn't say a word. He wasn't sure there was anything he could say. He lay down on his side and brought his hand slowly to her face, letting his fingers graze her skin. He then wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her to him, nuzzling her neck.
When she felt his arm around her, she started to relax. Her fear slowly disappeared. "Spike?" He lifted his head and stared into her eyes. "Spike, what's going on? Are you ok? Are you hurt?"
He held her even tighter against his body. "I just needed to be near you, luv. I needed to hold you. To feel you in my arms." He returned to nuzzling her neck and started to mumble. "You make everything better. The light in my dark world."
Willow decided that she would try to find out tomorrow what had happened for him to act this way. After hearing his words, she kissed the skin right below his ear and wrapped her arms around him. "Night, Spike."
"Goodnight, Willow."
~~~*~~~
Willow woke up the next morning and found herself watching Spike. She wasn't sure how to bring up last night. What had happened had been so different. Always before it was about sex, not necessarily a connection, just having someone there. Having someone needing you. Wanting you.
Spike could feel her eyes watching him. "Not polite to stare, Red."
"I...uh...I wasn't?"
"Right," he smirked. "So what was going through your mind?"
Willow looked away from him. "It was always about needing and wanting and sex with us and then last night...what was that?"
"What was what?" he asked innocently.
"Don't play games, Spike. I want to know what happened. You..."
"I never meant to scare you last night."
"What happened?"
He extended his arm onto the pillows and smiled when she snuggled against his body. Spike curled his arm around her shoulder and held her close to his body. Her head was right below his chin and was resting on his chest. The moment was perfect. He took a deep breath and knew how vulnerable he would be once he told her. "I went on patrol with Bitchy last night."
"You mean Buffy?"
"That's what I said, luv. She started talking about when we slept together. She..."
"Is that what you want?" Willow whispered.
"I'm a bit confused, luv. Is what what I want?"
Willow tensed. "Her. Do you want to go back to her?"
Spike could feel her body tense and knew she was serious. "Cor, no! I'd rather be dusted, luv. I...I want you, Willow." He saw her look up at him. Spike tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "Always. I want you always."
Willow relaxed and placed her head back down on his chest and wrapped her arms around him. "What happened next?" she whispered.
"She started saying things. It made my demon a bit angry, luv. That's what you saw last night. I would NEVER hurt you. You-you comfort me. You soothe the demon. You...make me feel like a man. But none of this is the point," he added quickly. Spike was afraid he had said too much, so he went back to the original conversation. "The bint pissed me off. Told me I wasn't worth anything. That anyone that ever got involved with me would be wasting their time. That they would leave because I wasn't worth it."
Willow frowned when she heard his words. <He believes a part of that.>
Spike tightened his grip on her. After a moment of silence, he continued. "Please don't leave me, Willow. Don't leave me."
Willow could hear the pleading in his voice. She lifted her head and looked at him. He was vulnerable and scared. Willow had never seen him like this. She had never seen him look so hurt and frightened. "Is that what you think? That I'm just gonna leave? That I'm going to walk away from me and you?"
"Yes," he whispered without looking at her.
Willow frowned and snuggled closer to him. When she looked up at him, she realized he was still looking away. "Spike?"
He looked down at her. "Hmm."
"Remember how you said there's stuff not being said between us?"
"Yeah."
"You're right. I wanted you to know that. I um...wanted you to know something else."
"Ok."
"I'm scared that you're gonna leave me. And I don't even know why that bothers me. No that's wrong, I do know why it bothers me but I just...I'm afraid that when you're with me, it's not me you're thinking of. That this is a joke to you and I..."
Spike could see her starting to take quicker breaths. While he had his arms around her, he started rubbing small circles on her back to calm her down. "Sshh, luv. Me and you...this is real. I've never felt like this. Never."
"I just...don't want you to go away," she whispered softly.
Spike kissed her neck softly. "I'm not going anywhere," he whispered. After seeing her smile, he continued. "Come out with me tonight? I wanna take you somewhere." He saw her nod her head yes and then met her lips with a kiss.
~Part: 8~
Willow woke up that evening just as the sun was setting. She opened her eyes and looked around the room for Spike but he was missing. As her eyes focused, she saw an outfit hanging on the door. Climbing out of bed, she walked over to it and grabbed the note that was attached to it.
Get dressed and meet me downstairs.
S
Willow picked up the outfit and raised her eyebrows. The outfit he had decided to leave for her was a black leather skirt that stopped at mid-thigh and a green silk sleeveless top with spaghetti straps. Looking at the ground, she saw he had decided to leave her a pair of boots with the outfit. "These are not Willow clothes," she mumbled to herself.
After much debating with herself, Willow put on the clothes and tied her hair up, revealing her neck. She made her way downstairs, seeing Spike with his back to her. As she reached the bottom step, she decided to speak up. "Umm...Spike?"
Spike turned around and took one look at her. <She's a goddess.>
"Spike, this isn't me. I'm not a leather and silk kind of girl."
He made his way over to her and drifted his arms around her waist. Spike pulled her to him as he leaned down to her ear. "Actually," he purred. "It's very you."
"Spike..."
"I'm just not sure if I want to go out anymore. We could stay here." He nipped at her neck. "Have our own fun."
"And here I thought you were gonna take me out and put some sort of verbal claim on me," she remarked sarcastically.
His eyes flashed golden at the mention of the verbal claim. "That's exactly what I intend to do," he mumbled to himself. "C'mon, luv. We're wasting the moonlight."
~~~*~~~
About ten minutes later, they had walked up to a solid wood door that looked like no one had entered through it in the last hundred years. "Spike?" Willow asked fearfully.
He draped his arm around her shoulders and pulled her closer to him. "No worries, luv. You're with me and the only demon to put his hands on you will be me!" As the door opened, Spike morphed and was granted admittance to the club.
~~~*~~~
Willow looked around at her surroundings. All around her were various kinds of demons. She didn't even recognize most of them. She felt Spike behind her and relaxed when he wrapped his arms around her waist. Willow turned her head to look back at him. "Why did you bring me here?"
"Why? Cause I wanted to." Spike took her question as a sign that she didn't want to be seen with him. "I'm a demon, luv. Or did you forget that?"
Willow frowned at the tone of his voice. "I didn't forget. I know you're a demon and I don't care."
Spike allowed her to turn in his arms. "Really?" he whispered. As he saw her nod her head, he leaned into her and nuzzled her neck. "Let's get some drinks, pet."
After they each had had a couple drinks, Spike took her hand and started to lead her up a staircase that led to the upper floor. He pulled her into a dark corner and watched her for a moment.
When they had reached the dark corner, Willow put her hands on the railing in front of her and looked down at all the demons. She didn't feel threatened with Spike there.
Spike came up behind her and placed his hands on her hips. He then leaned into her neck, starting to place kisses on her skin.
"Spike," she started to whimper.
Spike quit kissing her and leaned up to her ear. "Want you, Willow." To emphasize his point, he pulled her ass against him, letting her feel his erection.
Willow quickly turned her head. "We can't do that here! There's demons around and...and..."
"We're on the upper level in the dark, pet. No one can see us. The music is so bloody loud, you can scream all you want."
"Spike," she started but could already feel his hands slowly pushing up her skirt.
"Let me?" He kissed the back of her neck as he heard her whisper softly the word yes. Hearing her answer, he pushed her skirt all the way up over her hips and let his fingers drift over her wetness. "Need you, luv." He undid the zipper of his pants and pushed them down a bit.
When Willow heard the zipper, she looked around quickly but no one was paying attention. No one even knew they were up there.
"Bend over slightly and grab onto the railing," he whispered. When she did as she was told, he smiled to himself. He guided his cock to her entrance and slowly slid into her. He stayed still for a moment, letting her adjust to him. He let her skirt fall against them as he held onto her hips. Slowly he began to move inside of her. As he sped up his thrusts, he got lost in her. All he could hear were her gasps and her moans.
Willow couldn't believe she was letting Spike fuck her in a demon club. She was getting lost within him, like she always did. As he slid in and out of her, she wanted more friction. Grasping onto the railing tighter, she started to push against him as he thrust inside her.
Spike felt the witch matching each thrust and knew it would be over soon if he didn't do something. His demon wanted to come out. He wanted to taste her blood. He slowed down their movements, turning their actions into something slow and tender. He let his left hand drift to around her waist as his other hand drifted up her body and pushed her top up, his fingers finding her nipple. As he let his fingers graze across it, he could hear her breath come in shorter pants. He leaned over her and started to whisper to her. "Stand up and lean back against me."
Willow did what she was told. She leaned back slowly until her back came in contact with his chest. Spike never broke their rhythm. Willow noticed that the new position she was in hit nerves inside her body that had never been touched before.
Spike made sure to hold her up as continued to fuck her. The new position allowed him to go deeper inside her, her heat surrounding him. He knew he was close.
"Spike...so close," she panted out between breaths. "Need you," she moaned.
While holding her up with one arm, he let his other hand drift down to her clit. He started to massage the tip of her clit with his fingers as his thrusts became hard and rough.
"Spike...oh goddess..." Willow took a deep breath. "More," she growled. "Harder," she whimpered.
Spike pushed her body down until she grabbed onto the railing again.
He grabbed onto her hips and morphed, letting the demon come out to play.
The tender caresses were gone. Now it was about need. He started to slam
into her body, pulling her ass back at the same time. Each thrust was harder
than the one before that, each one a little more rough. Spike could feel
her body start to tremble and felt her juices surround his dick, but he
didn't stop. He only wanted to fuck her even harder. When her muscles start
to squeeze him, his demon growled. Digging his fingers in deeper to her
skin, he continued fucking her. He smelt blood and knew he was hurting
her but his demon wasn't satisfied. When her body started to collapse,
he caught her but didn't slow down. He heard her start to moan again and
twisted her nipple hard, causing her to clamp down on him again. When he
heard her yell his name, he thrust hard into her one more time and held
her body to his as he emptied his seed inside her.
"Mine," he growled into her neck.
The demon melted away and was replaced by his human facade. He felt her body trembling and held her close for a moment before pulling out of her. When he thought she could stand without help, he let go and pulled up his pants, zipping them up. He then pulled down her skirt and fixed her top. The demon inside him was screaming 'mine' while the man in him felt ashamed for hurting her. Without a word, he took her by the hand and pushed her up against the wall gently. He let his lips drift across hers, just enjoying tasting her. He let her deepen the kiss, the kiss remaining tender and full of...love? He pulled away and nuzzled her neck. "I never...I didn't mean to hurt you," he mumbled against her skin. When he pulled away, he wrapped his arms around her. "I have to tell you something Willow."
<This is it. He's gonna tell me we're through. I...I need him. Please don't leave me. And tonight...what was that? What's worse is that I liked it. I enjoyed him possessing me.>
"Willow, please say something." He started to frown, worrying that he had hurt her a lot and now she would be scared of him.
"What is it, Spike?"
Spike took a deep breath. "The chip...it quit working about a week ago."
<This is it. He brought me here to kill me.>
~Part: 9~
Spike expected her to run from him but he didn't receive that kind of reaction. Instead she looked down at the floor and remained silent. "Willow, say something," he said softly.
"Are...are you going to kill me? Is that why you brought me here?"
"Look at me." He watched as Willow shook her head no. He brought two fingers and rested them under her chin, tilting her face up. When her eyes met his, he saw a mixture of emotions. "I haven't killed anyone since I found out. That's not why I brought you here."
"Why did you bring me here?"
"Pet, I...we should leave. Let's get out of here."
"Tell me."
"Not here. Not to mention the fact that what I just told you...it needs to sink in first." Spike grabbed her by her hand and led her out of the club.
They had been walking for about five minutes in silence when Willow suddenly stopped and stood still. Seeing her actions, Spike also stopped. "Red? You ok?"
"A week? Your chip hasn't worked in a week?"
"That's right."
"And you knew for the whole week. You knew before I saw you in the cemetery that night."
"Look pet, I don't know what you're getting at."
Anger coursed through her body. "You...you...VAMPIRE!" She didn't even want to speak to him or she knew she would break down.
"What the fuck?" Spike mumbled. He walked faster to catch up to the redhead. "What the hell was that back there, Red?'
"Don't talk to me. I can't believe you." Seeing that she was on her front porch, she took out her keys and unlocked the door. Willow turned around once more to face him. "The games are over Spike. Goodbye."
"You mean goodnight, right?" he asked in a cautious voice.
"No. I mean goodbye," her voice cracked. She ran in her house and slammed the door, making her way as quickly to her bedroom as possible. She tore off her clothes and climbed into bed, letting her tears fall freely.
Spike found himself standing outside with a slammed door in his face. <What the bloody hell? That girl is mine. What the hell am I still doing outside?> He pushed open the door and heard her heartbeat coming from her bedroom. He shrugged out of his duster and boots and made his way up the stairs, taking two at a time. When he pushed open the door, he saw the girl that he wanted for a mate curled in a ball and crying. His undead heart went out to her. He walked over to the side of the bed and climbed in, wrapping his arms around her. As he pulled her closer, he heard her mumble. "What's that, luv?"
"I told you goodbye. Which means I don't want you here right now."
"Got that, luv. But see, it goes like this...I want to be with you right now, so instead of letting you push me away, I decided to push back. You wanna tell me what has you all riled?"
"YOU!" she yelled. "You...you don't want me," she added softly.
"What? How the hell did you come to that conclusion? Were you not there at the club? I know I was a little rough but..."
"It was just sex."
"No it wasn't," he growled. "I told you at the club you were mine."
"It was just something you said."
Spike was becoming frustrated quickly. "Why do you think that? Why do you think I don't want you? You're the only girl I want."
"Because you didn't!" she blurted out.
"I didn't what?"
"You're a vampire and when a vampire..."
"Shags?"
"Yeah, when you do that...I thought vampires bite out of sex or love or just because and you didn't because you don't want me and this whole thing between us is just I don't know and you didn't want to bite me and now you can." Willow took a deep breath and looked up into his eyes. "I'm shutting up now," she mumbled.
Spike was floored. <Am I hearing this right? The chit wants me to bite her?> "Red, do you want me to bite you?"
"Maybe," she whispered.
"I never did it because I thought it would scare you. I didn't want you to turn away from me."
"Why doesn't your demon want me?"
"Bloody hell," he groaned. "My demon wants nothing more than to claim you for his own. <I'll have to tell her about the mate thing some other day. Not sure if she would go for it.> My demon wants to mark you to let everybody know that you're taken." He grazed his fingers down the side of her face. "The man in me wants the same thing too, luv." Spike placed a small kiss on the side of her cheek. "In my eyes you're already mine and I was hoping you saw me as yours. Because I am...if you want me. Willow?"
"Sshh, just sleep Spike."
He nuzzled into her neck, inhaling her scent. "Do you want me for yours?" he asked softly.
"Yes," she whispered back.
~Part: 10~
Spike woke up the next afternoon and smiled at Willow, who was still sleeping. He pulled off his clothes and snuggled in closer to her, feeling the heat radiating from her body. He drifted his fingers along the side of her face, feeling her skin under his touch. He waited until her eyes fluttered open and looked at him. "Mmm...that feels good."
Spike leaned into her neck. "Afternoon luv," he whispered. He let his hand drift down her body. "I want you." He nipped at her neck and could smell her arousal. "Want me, luv?"
She regarded his eyes seriously for a moment. "Always."
"Always? I could use that to my advantage." They were both lying on their sides, staring at each other. Spike picked up her leg and drifted in across his hips.
"I hope so," she smirked. As she saw him pause for a moment, she frowned a bit. "Spike?"
"There's a chance...a really good chance that I'll claim you and I just don't want you to regret it."
"I won't!"
"Right, then." Spike guided his cock to her slit and slid in slowly, letting her warmth surround him. While letting her adjust, he started to nibble on her ear. "What did I ever do to deserve you, luv?"
"No more talking, Spike."
"I can do that." He started to move slowly within her. Every time she would try to speed up their movements, he would only slow them down again. Letting them explore each other's body.
Willow wanted to do nothing more than to have him take her right there, but he insisted on going slow. His movements were driving her crazy. She wanted to explode. "Spike," she moaned.
As he heard his name, he started kissing her shoulder, licking away a drop of sweat. He wanted to express to her how important she was through his actions because he couldn't find the words.
"Spike," she pleaded.
He continued sliding in and out of her, while holding her close. "Sshh, luv. Let me into your mind, Willow. Into your heart." Spike started to pant. "No more bloody games. No more barriers. No more pushing me away. Tell me I'm yours."
Willow looked into his eyes. "Mine. And I'm yours."
"This is how it should be, Willow. Me and you." He pushed into her as far as he could go and stopped for a moment, only to pull out a little and push into he again. His actions became a bit more aggressive. He was claiming her body with his. And she was meeting his actions every step of the way.
"Spike," she moaned. "Goddess yes. Don't ever stop," she panted.
Spike knew she was on the edge and swept her hair off the side of her neck. He started to thrust quickly inside of her, bringing her hips to meet his. Suddenly he felt her insides start to flutter around his cock. "That's it baby," he whispered. "No holding back. You were made for me." As soon as he said the words, he felt her muscles tighten around his dick.
"Spike...goddess Spike...William!" she cried out as her orgasm hit her hard.
Hearing his real name on her lips was too much for Spike. As he came inside her, he morphed and bit into her neck. When his demon tasted her blood, he knew he would always crave it. He knew he would always crave her. Spike felt her hit her second orgasm and he bit down harder, leaving a permanent claiming mark. He continued to drink when he felt her hands on the back of his neck, holding him in place. Spike didn't want to take too much and cause her to black out, so he pulled away nuzzling her neck.
Willow couldn't believe how much she enjoyed feeling him biting her. Her whole body called out for him. As she felt him pull away, she whispered the words she had never meant to say out loud. "I love you," she whispered.
