Coupling: Willow/Spike

Xander was the first of the Scooby's to arrive the next evening just after Giles had recovered from his hangover. Anya soon followed. Gradually every entered except the new couple, Giles noticed.
Xander noticed all the tention in the room and finally asked Buffy what the problem was.
"Hey Buff, what's the sich?" He asked.
"Willow is sleeping with the undead." She answered not looking up from her book as Willow finally arrived for the night, with Spike in tow.
"WHAT????? She sleeping with DEADBOY." Xander shouted and turned bright read.
Anya was the one to answer the question though.
"No. She's been sleeping with Spike. What didn't everyone already know?"She asked surprised.
Several glares passed her was along with some surprised expressions. She had known for months that the two had been together, but for some reasons she didn't know, Spike had been acting as if he was inlove with Buffy.
Finally Willow spoke, after she recovered from the shock.
"Xander, please calm down. I love Spike and yeah he and I are together. Last night I told Buffy and since Giles was still here he knows too. I had planned to talk to you tonight about it, but Buff beat me to it." She babbled paniced.
"You are sleeping with DEADBOY JR. How is that any better?" He again shouted.
"Yes, we had been for a while but had other things to work out and he dealt with that by proclaiming love for Buffy. Last night I made my claim known and we dealt with some of our issues. Buffy however made an ultimatum, I hope you don't as well." She continued to babble long windedly.
Xander took a calming breath and thought about what she had just said. Of course he had questions, who wouldn't, but he knew if Spike made Wills happy then he would go along.
"What did she say?" He asked.
He also noticed how all of the others had remain silent through this conversation. Buffy looked as if she was now ignoring the witch.
"She said it was either for love or her friendship. I chose Love Xan. Please, don't make me lose another friend?" She blused and waited.
"I would never say that to you, however, I say this now Jr. Ever hurt her again and I will make what Angelus used to do look like a three year old child did it. No shovels involved here. Oz already has one in his future, if I ever see him again." Xander stated calmly and pulled his best friend since childhood into his arms for a brief hug.
Willow was waiting for Giles and Buffy to say some thing after Xander and Anya left for the night. Spike was actually surprisingly behaving himself by reading a book on candles. That had her thinking naughty things when Giles finally spoke.
"Willow, I do not condone the relationship you have chosen, however, your friendship is something I value greatly. I will not ask you to chose. I care very much for you and am glad you are happy finally." With those words Giles retreated to his room for the night.
Buffy stood looked at her former best friend and without a word gathered her things and made for the door, all she heard behind her was Willows words.
"Buffy, please listen to me!" Willow asked just before the door slammed closed.
With a sigh Spike pulled Willow into his arms and let her cry. He knew soon he'd have to talk to the slayer or convince Willow to leave.
Maybe even go and help the Poof if that is what she wants. He thought.
