~Part 1~

Willow’s parents had retired and had asked Willow to move back in with them away from the dorms. As much as Willow loathed the idea, Xander convinced her that it would be a good idea. So she did.

All seemed to be going well for a while but soon things returned to how they where when her parents left all the time. Only this time they were straight out ignoring her and she was depressed.

After examining all the evidence Willow discovered that they weren’t doing it on purpose. Her Mother was pregnant.

“Don’t worry Will’s, It’s no biggie.” Xander told her.

“But my Mum’s too old to have a baby and I don’t want a little brother or sister. I wouldn’t know how to look after them."

“Oh but baby’s are so cute! And Tiny! You’ll love it Willow! And plus you have that whole motherly instinct going for ya! Nothing’s gonna change!” Buffy assured her.

“What would you know slayer?” Spike asked as he approached the table.

“Spike.” Buffy said flatly, “What do you want?”

“Yeah! I thought you said you wanted nothing to do with us!” Xander added.

“And I don’t. I just couldn’t help over hearing your conversation. So. Your Mothers pregnant huh? Tough luck.”

“What do you mean tough luck?” Willow asked.

“Move over slayer,” Spike said as he shoved Buffy off her seat so he could sit down. “Home Wreckers!” He announced and Buffy was trying to pull him out of her seat. “They cry all night, and make noise. Not to mention the smell they leave around the house and all the barfing, no pet, not for me, or you I might add. Do you know how this is going to effect your life pet?”

Buffy by this time had given up and had gotten herself another seat.

“Nope, but I bet your gonna tell me.” Willow guessed.

“That’s right pet. No more spells in the house. It’ll be ‘What’s that smell? It’ll harm the baby!’ or ‘Stop ringing bells! It’ll wake the baby!’ and ‘Put out that light! It’ll wake the baby!’. No luv, no more spells, rituals or rite’s in the house. No more coming in at all hours. And your bedroom? Forget that! Your out. Into a room downstairs. No more balcony for Buffy to sneak in from, or anyone else for that matter. No more phone, or computer. And you can’t move back into the dorms ‘cause they’re all full.”

“Oh shut up Spike! Don’t you have blood to buy? Or soapies to watch?” Buffy asked exasperated.

“Yeah sure thing, but mark my words luv,” he said to Willow. “Baby’s are bad business.”

And with that he left the Bronze leaving Willow in a daze.

<It can’t be as bad as all that can it?> She thought to her self as Buffy and Xander launched into another conversation on how wonderful baby’s are.

~PART 2~

Willow was unsettled for the next nine months. She didn’t want a new little brother or sister. Who would?

One day Willow came home from school and went up to her room. She opened the door and nearly fell over at what she saw.

It was no longer her room. All her things had been moved out and the room had been painted a vile pink colour. Here bed had been replaced by a baby’s crib. The room was now a nursery. Spike had been right.

“MUM!” Willow shouted running down the stairs to the kitchen.

“Yes dear?” Sheila asked calmly

“Where did my room go?”

“Oh sweetie we had to move you. Your in the spare room now.”

Willow was stunned into silence. She went back upstairs to collect the books she had dropped at the door to her old room. She then proceeded back down to her rather cramped new room. It was only half as big as her old room. No balcony for people to come visit at all hours of the night. She wasn’t going to enjoy this at all. So she decided to do something about it.

Willow knocked at the door to Spike’s new apartment. As much as Spike didn’t want to help the scoobies, he found it was the only way to get his kicks, so to speak. Over the past nine months he and Willow had become quite good friends. They loved spending time together. That’s why Spike had bought an apartment. That’s why Willow was here.

“Who is it?” Spike asked from the other side of the door.

“Willow.” Spike opened the door and let her in. “What are you doing here?”

“I need to ask you a question.” Willow was nervous beyond words. < What if he says ‘no’? What if he laughs? What am I doing here? > She thought to herself.

“Well go ahead then” Spike prompted her.

“I uh, I um, I need a, a,” For some reason the words weren’t forming as Willow would have hoped.

“A what luv?” Spike asked her.

“A drink?” Willow replied.

“You came all the way over here to ask me for a drink?”

“Uh huh.” < I can’t ask him. > Spike raised an eyebrow. “Ok that’s not what I came here for. I need a place to stay because I’ve been kicked out of my room and my new room is so tiny and they took away my balcony and I just can’t stay there but I knew that you had a spare room so I figured that you wouldn’t mind if I stayed with you indefinitely but maybe you do I ...” Spike couldn’t believe what he was hearing. He had wished for this ever since he had bought the apartment.

“Yes.”

“What?” She asked hearing him interrupt.

“I said yes pet, you can stay. And You can have the room with the balcony. Well go shopping for furniture tomorrow night and you can move in the night after. OK?”

Willow couldn’t believe it < He said yes! >  “uh huh.”

“Right well then you go home now and plan what you would like for your new room and I’ll meet you here tomorrow night.”

“Ok, see you then, oh and Spike?” She said as she made her way out the door.

“Yeah?”

“Thank you.”

With that Willow made her way back to her house. Then something hit her and she stopped walking. She was going to be living with Spike. HE had been the object of her fantasies since the time he had kidnapped her. < I’m going to live with Spike. > She then thought of some thing else. < I wonder what Buffy’s going to do? Oh well, to hell with her! I’m gonna live with Spike.>
