Willow woke up with tears in her eyes. She had made the biggest mistake of her life. She loved Spike, she always had. And now he was gone, because of her stupid temper. God how she wanted him back. "Please, please someone bring him back to me." She turned and tried to muffle the sounds of her sobs in her pillow.
Angel heard Willow crying as he stood outside her door. She had run into her room after Spike had left. Her tears had already begun to flow, leaving trails down her face. Angel knew that she loved Spike, but after she had told him to leave, Spike wouldn’t come back. Willow had hurt his pride, he would never come back after that humiliation.
Spike slammed the bottle into the wall. "Why?" He yelled at the empty crypt. He dropped to the ground, running his hands through his hair. "Why damn it! I love her, why can’t I have her?" He began to sob, great heart-wrenching sobs. It was tearing him up inside. The feel of her against him, it was more than he could bear. He had to forget, anything to make him forget the feel of her body, the taste of her lips. Spike groaned. "Why can’t you love me Willow?"
Willow wiped at her eyes. She headed towards what she hoped was the stairs going to the front of the building. Angel came up behind her. "Willow?" Willow jumped around, than started to fall down the stairs. Angel jumped forward and caught her. "Willow are you alright?" Willow began to sob some more. "No, I love him Angel, please help me get him back, please?" Angel held the sobbing girl close to him. "I’ll try Willow, I swear I’ll try." Cordelia came up the stairs to see the sobbing redhead. "Willow? Willow! Oh my god, are you okay?" Willow shook her head. "Why did I tell him to go? Why?" Cordelia hugged her. "It’s okay Willow, I promise you it will be okay."
Spike staggered to the entrance of the crypt, all it would take would be one more step, than the sun would take him. He slid his foot forward, closing his eyes he spread out his arms. Than he fell……backward. He was too much of a coward to go through with it. He had to have one more kiss from Willow. He wanted to die with her sweet mouth being the last thing he remembered. He jumped up and grabbing his blanket ran to his car. With a squeal of tires he took off to the Hyperian Hotel.
Angel could feel Spike getting close. He looked out the window, and saw the car driving up. Spike got out under the cover of a blanket and ran to the door. Angel nodded to Cordelia. "Delia, maybe you could go get something for Willow to drink?" Cordelia smiled, and walked off gracefully to the kitchen. Angel hugged Willow tightly; she would need the support. Willow wrapped her arms around his neck; she buried her face in his shoulder.
Spike came in and saw Willow in Angel’s embrace. Spike took one step forward, he saw Willow snuggle against is grand-sire. He turned and fled back out the door. "Spike!" Angel called after him. Willow whipped her head around to see him run off. She sank to her knees, the tears doubling out of her eyes. Angel flew down the stairs, and made it to the door, before they could hear the squeals of the tires flying away.
Spike drove like a bat out of hell. He didn’t care what happened to him; all he knew was that he had seen Willow with Angel. He drove for hours, just feeling the pain as Angel had yet again taken the one he loved. Willow. The thought of her mad him shake with anger and pain. How could she act like his love was nothing? She had said that she loved him, so why was she in Angel’s arms?
Angel went to the Oracles. He had to get his childe with Willow. The Oracles were of little help though. "What is meant to be, will be." Angel grumbled to himself. That’s all the help they had given him, well he would be damned if he would let Spike and Willow suffer, when they should be together.
Willow let her tears stop. She would find Spike; he had to hear that she was sorry. She stood up and almost fell down again. Okay, maybe she should eat something first. She found her way into the kitchen. Cordelia was there making her some tea. Willow sat down and put her head in her hands. "Don’t worry Willow, Angel and I will think of something." Willow just laid her head on her arms. "I miss him Delia, I love him." Cordelia hugged her tightly. "Angel will fix it Willow, I know he will." Willow lifted up her head. "I hope so Delia, I really hope so."
