“I hate vampires.” Cordelia grumbled sitting at the table drinking coffee the next morning.
“You too?” Willow asked. “What’s you reason?” Cordelia sighed.
“One minute everything’s fine and we’re you know making out. And then boom he’s gone. It’s like he vanished. He’s all like sorry but you should get some rest!” Cordelia was now standing. Willow nodded.
“It was the exact same with me!” She exclaimed. Both girls sat and looked at each other.
“There’s something going on.” Cordy said. Willow nodded.
“But hell if I know what.” She said grumbling. Spike’s kisses still lingered on her lips, neck, and anywhere else that had been available. Cordelia’s eyes widened.
“You don’t think they know do you?” Cordelia asked. Willow shook her head.
“No way. T-they can’t.” Willow didn’t even sound like she believed herself.
“Know what pet?” Spike asked walking into the kitchen. Willow blushed.
“N-nothing.” She said. Spike looked at her.
“That doesn’t look like a nothing face to me.” He noted. Angel walked in right behind him.
“What did I miss?” He asked. Cordelia was frustrated and didn’t feel like playing games.
“Do you two know about the bet?” She asked bluntly. Willow’s face was as dark as her hair.
“What bet?” Angel asked innocently. Cordelia stood up.
“Don’t you pull that innocent act on me Mr. Broody.” She said poking her finger at his chest.
“Now Delia…” He grabbed her hand and pulled her into his arms. “Spike and I were teasing you for your own good.” He said.
“You did know!” She exclaimed angrily. Spike laughed.
“Hell yeah! And I’ve got to say that was some bet. So whose idea was it anyway?” He asked sitting across from Willow. Both girls blushed.
“Well…” Willow said slowly. “It wasn’t like one of us came up with it on our own exactly…” Cordelia sighed.
“It was all the red head.” She said. Willow blushed harder.
“Cordy!” She exclaimed. Spike smiled at her deviously.
“See I told you! Pay up peaches!” Spike exclaimed. Willow and Cordy looked at each other in shock.
“You made a bet about us!” Willow exclaimed. Angel nodded digging money out of his pants pocket.
“Yeah. Spike bet me a hundred bucks that it was your idea and not Cordy’s.” Angel grumbled handing Spike the money. Willow stood up.
“I can’t believe you two!” She exclaimed. Spike smiled and took her hand into his.
“A bit hypocritical aren’t we Red?” Spike asked. Willow looked down at the ground embarrassed.
“Ok no more betting. That’s it I’m done with it!” Cordelia demanded. Angel smiled at her.
“Of course honey.” He said. Cordelia smiled.
“So what are the plans for tonight?” She asked. Spike pulled Willow into his lap.
“I can think of a few interesting things. Red and I will be going out anyway.” Willow looked at him in protest.
“But I don’t want to go out.” She protested.
“Dinner…dancing…hotel room.” He whispered into her ear. Willow’s eyes widened and she blushed a little.
“Spike and I are going out.” She announced, quickly. Cordelia and Angel smiled.
“All the better for us.” Angel said looking at Cordelia.
