Cordelia yawned sleepily as she headed into the kitchen for some coffee. She walked passed the living room and something seemed different. She walked into the kitchen and then it hit her. She gasped and ran back to the living room. The couch was empty. She looked towards Willow’s door and saw that it was closed. *Way to go Will's* she thought. *Wait that little brat beat me* she though indignantly. All of her thoughts were lost when she felt a pair of arms slip themselves around her waist. Angel kissed her cheek.
“Good morning.” He said softly into her ear. She smiled.
“Morning.” Then he saw the empty couch.
“What did I miss?” He asked. Cordy shrugged.
“You tell me.” She replied. They headed into the kitchen. As soon as they sat down with some coffee and breakfast Spike casually appeared. He sat down and picked up the paper, not saying anything. It became apparent to him that two sets of brown eyes were burning themselves into him.
“What?” He asked. Angel just shook his head and smiled. Cordelia wasn’t so tactful.
“What were you doing in Willow’s room?” She asked bluntly. Spike shrugged.
“Why don’t you ask her?” He said. Willow walked into the kitchen and looked at everyone. She picked up her laptop.
“Today I suggest we seriously research this demon. I mean that is why Spike and I are here.” She said. She walked into the living room.
“Guess she didn’t want to tell you.” Spike said. Cordy sighed and walked into her room to change. Angel sighed and followed her. Spike walked into the living room. Willow was sitting on the couch in jeans and a T-shirt working on her computer. *She still looks gorgeous* he thought. She looked up at him and a faint blush crept across her cheek.
“Hello.” She said quietly. He smiled at her and sat down next to her.
“What are you working on?” He asked. Willow shrugged.
“I’m trying to find the demon we came here to find.” She said. He nodded.
“Good plan.” He replied softly. His hand touched hers as he reached across her to grab a glass off the table. She jumped up.
“You know I think I’m going to go work i-in the kitchen.” She ran into the kitchen. She ran right into Cordelia. Cordelia grabbed her shoulders and sat her down before she had a chance to run off.
“Here.” Cordy said handing her a check of $4800 *Thank heavens I got into that damn mento's commercial and the Blockbuster commercial* she thought. Willow looked at it and turned red.
“But wait we didn’t…Cordelia we didn’t sleep together.” Willow said bluntly. It only made her blush harder.
“Oh.” She took the check and slipped it into her back pocket. “Well then what did you do?” She asked curiously. Willow smiled at her memories of last night.
“Who said you could come in here?” Willow asked snuggling up to Spike’s bare chest.
“I did. And actually so did you.” He replied. Willow smiled.
“Oh yeah I did.” She remembered. He smiled.
“If you want luv, I can go.” He said. Willow held on to him tighter.
“No…you don’t have to.” She said. He brushed a piece of hair from her face.
“What happened to that innocent blushing girl I like so much?” He asked. As if on cue her cheeks turned red.
“N-nothing. What are you talking about?” She asked. Spike brushed the top of her head with his hand.
“Well you’ve been acting pretty strange. Very un-red like.” He explained. Willow smiled.
“I can’t tell you.” She whispered.
“All right. I’ll take that pet.” He said. “But you know I’ll make you tell me eventually.” Willow sighed and closed her eyes.
“I know, but not right now. Then you might leave.” She said sleepily. He kissed the top of her head.
“I’m not going anywhere love.” He whispered.
“And he didn’t...” She said dreamily. “He was there all night and when I woke up and God it was so nice waking up in his arms.” Cordy smiled.
“That is so sweet.” She said. Willow nodded.
“But don’t tell him I told you because he said it would ruin his rep if anyone found out that he slept with a girl but didn’t really…sleep with a girl.” Willow said blushing more. Cordy nodded.
“Don’t worry. Secrets safe.” She promised. Under the table and right out of Willow’s sight Cordy had her fingers crossed. “So now about the bet.” Cordelia continued. Willow turned her laptop on.
“We really need to work on this demon.” Willow said. “We really don’t have time to talk about Spike and Angel right now.” Just as she said his name Spike was walking by the kitchen. *Maybe I ought to listen to this* he thought.
“Come on Willow!” Cordelia pleaded. Willow sighed.
“Delia, come on. I have to work on this. I don’t have time to talk about the bet.” She said. *What bet* Spike wondered.
“Well it doesn’t matter because I’m going to win.” Cordelia said haughtily. Willow tried not to let Cordy bait her.
“I don’t care Cordy.” Willow said.
“Oh yes you do. Don’t try that on me. It’s not about the bet anymore. It’s about the fact we got in a little too deep. I can’t believe I let myself get talk into this.” Cordy grumbled.
“Oh this is all my fault?” Willow asked.
“Yes!” Cordy exclaimed. “You’re the one who made the bet. We are tying to seduce two vampires. Ugh!” Cordy’s head fell on the table and Spike’s jaw dropped.
“Oh I see what it is.” Willow exclaimed. Cordy looked up at her. “You feel guilt because you’re falling for Angel!” She declared.
“Oh shut up. No you aren’t falling for Spike one bit?” She asked. Willow blushed.
“Can we just work?” Willow asked. Cordy sighed.
“Ok fine but this discussion is not finished.” She said firmly. Spike walked into Angel’s room.
“I have something very interesting to tell you mate.” He said.
