~Part: 1~

Willow sat in Giles’ apartment, listening to Buffy’s description of the towns new Big Bad. It was quite exciting to know that there was a new evil in Sunnydale. It gave everybody something to do other than worry about their own individual problems. It gave everybody something new to think about.

Lately, the only thing Willow had thought about had been Spike. Comfortable thoughts now though, compared to the lusty ones she was having a couple of weeks ago. Kissing Spike had made her brain go on overload. She wanted him, and she had finally given her body a taste of him. It was bliss. But now, she was at the stage of almost dealing.

Buffy stood up, and started pacing the room.

“Whatever Adam is, there will be a way of stopping him. And I *will* find it”

Buffy always did find ways of stopping evil. She’s the slayer. It’s her job.

Willow always had faith In Buffy. She knew that if there was a new Big Bad in town, Buffy would find a way to stop it, and protect them all along the way. She had so much strength in her.

“What do you suggest doing Buffy?” Giles asked, from the corner of the room.

Willow had noticed how Giles was always depending on Buffy to find the solution lately. It was strange. He was Buffy’s watcher. Isn’t he supposed to research demons, tell Buffy how to kill them, then Buffy would…well…kill them?

She didn’t know whether it was Buffy making these role-reversals, but it was still odd. She sometimes felt that Giles was preparing them all for his departure. He wouldn’t always be there for them. They knew that. He has his own life In England.

“I think we should brake into the initiative. If there’s any information that will tell us how to stop Adam, I’m guessing we have to go to the creators to find it” Buffy replied.

Now, wasn’t that simple enough for Giles to figure out?

“So we’ll go to the initiative then” Xander said, standing up from the sofa, clapping his hands together.

Anya pulled Xander back down onto the sofa with her.

“Xander, we were going to have sex tonight. Can’t you help save Sunnydale another night?” she told him, quite sternly.

Everybody turned to face the couple. Willow smirked at Xanders suddenly reddened face.

Xander turned to face Anya, and put his hands on her shoulders.

“Anya, remember that conversation we had a couple of weeks ago? You know, the one where I told you not to talk about our sex life in front of our friends?”

Anya looked around at her audience, and turned back to Xander with a blank face.

“Friends?”

Xander took his hands off of Anya’s shoulders and stood up to face Buffy.

“So when are we leaving then” he said, wanting to leave as quickly as possible.

Willow chuckled. She never understood what Xander saw In Anya. It was probably just the sex. If that was the case, then Xander really was a shallow guy.

Buffy walked over to the weapon chest that was up against the wall, and opened it.

“Actually, *we* wont be going. I don’t want to put any of you guys in danger. We don’t know what Adam is capable of yet.” She told her friends.

“You’re thinking of going alone?” Willow asked

She would be in as much danger as they would be. Buffy doesn’t know any more than the rest of them, so her super strength might not be an advantage.

“It’ll be safer. Trust me” she replied, picking up an axe.

Suddenly, the door to Giles’ apartment burst open, making Willow jump a little. Spike walked in carrying a brown paper back in his arms.

“Never fear, because Spike is now here” was the first thing he said, walking further into the apartment.

He gave Willow a quick glance and a smile before anybody would notice. She smiled back, very much like a school girl with a crush.

She liked the stage she was at with Spike now. They could be in the same room as each other, without wanting to rip each others clothes off. Well…almost anyway.

They had talked on many occasions and agreed to try and get over their lust. If they let it go any further, it would lead to bad places. Mainly an ashtray, and 6ft under.

They had accepted that they had feelings for one another, and had teased at it. But it could never go any further than that. They had to control the lust.

“Spike, just in time. Buffy is going to the initiative. Be useful and go with her” Giles told him, adjusting his glasses.

“What?” both Buffy and Spike yelled in disapproval

“Why do I have to go back *there* with *her*?” Spike said, placing his bag onto the floor next to Willow.

Willow took a quick glance inside. Cigarettes, blood, and alcohol. Three of the many things that reminded her of Spike.

“Spike, you’re the only person *here* that can help Buffy if she runs into Adam.” Giles told Spike

Buffy put her weapons bag down, and walked closer to Giles.

“I told you that I was going in alone.” She said to Giles, and then gave Spike a glare from the corner of her eyes.

“Buffy, you can’t go in alone. You don’t know anything about Adam. It might not be your slayer abilities that will kill him! You could go into the fight, and not come out alive. It’s safer to have Spike go with you” Giles told Buffy then looked away, not wanting to argue about it.

Buffy sighed, shaking her head, and then she walked back over to her weapons bag.

Spike was still not happy.

“Ok, first of all, why can’t the Action Man go with her, and second of all, who’s Adam?”

“*Riley* has essays to mark for tomorrow” Buffy said, gloomily from the corner.

Spike scoffed

“Ok, sad...and Adam?”

“He’s our new Big Bad. He’s made up of all kinds of different demons. We figure, intelligent, but dangerous” Willow told him

Spike turned to face Willow and raised an eyebrow

“Made up of different demons? Interesting” he smirked at her.

Willow held back the blush that was creeping up on her face. Spike knew that she thought his smirk was sexy. She had told him. But he would do it deliberately when she was with her friends, just to see her fight the blush.

“The initiative may have information on how to stop Adam. That’s why you need to go with Buffy, and help her” Giles said, rescuing Willow without even knowing it.

“Bringing up an interesting point here…the initiative are all hi-tech right? So let’s take a wild guess and say that they keep all of their top secret information hidden on their computer system. Wouldn’t it be best if I went along too? I could most definitely hack into their system.” Willow said, starting to think about other things.

Willow stood up, with a hopeful face. She always wanted to help as much as she could. Here was her chance to shine.

Buffy looked over to Willow.

“Professor Walsh did have files in her office, on each commando though. If Adam was her baby, you’d think she’d keep something on him too.”

Willow turned to look at Giles. He had, at some point, taken off his glasses and started to clean them. That’s what he did when he was thinking deeply about something. Well…that’s what he did most of time.

“Well…Buffy, take Xander. You both can go to Ms Walsh’s office to look for files. Spike, take Willow to their computer system *safely*. If she gets injured, you will be making friendly time with an ashtray. Anya will stay here with me, and we will shut down the security system from Willow’s laptop.”

Xander didn’t look happy

“Giles, I’m not happy with Willow going with Spike. I’d be happier if I could go with her”

Giles walked up to Willow as she booted up her laptop.

“Xander, Buffy and Spike are the strongest fighters we have with us. I could have Buffy go with Willow, but then you would complain about having to go with Spike.” Giles spoke over his shoulder to Xander.

“Don’t worry Pizza Boy, I’ll keep her safe!” Spike told Xander, making his way up to the weapons chest.

“Give me something sharp and pointy” Spike finished, making Buffy glare at him. She passed him a cross, which made him snarl.

Xander snorted.

Anya had made herself comfortable at Willow’s laptop, and was listening to Willows instructions on how to shut the security system down.

Willow gave Giles some written instructions, to make sure that they would know exactly how to do it.

“Are you ready to go Will?” Buffy shouted across to her friend, making her way to the door.

Willow glanced over her instructions, then back to Buffy

“I’m ready!”

Giles opened the draw on his desk and brought out a pair of walkie-talkies. He gave one to Xander, and kept one for himself.

“Tell me when you’re ready for shut down.” He told them all.

Buffy opened the door and they started to walk out.

“We don’t know where Adam is, so *please* watch each others backs!” he finished.

“I’ll be watching a little more than that” Spike said under his breath, just loud enough for Willow to hear.

Willow was the last to walk out of the house. She shut the door behind her, smirking at Spikes remark.

~Part: 2~

For the first 10 minutes, Willow walked at Buffy’s side, listening to instructions as to what she should do at the Initiative. Buffy had to repeat the directions to the computers twice to make sure that Willow understood exactly where she was going.  Willow felt sure that she knew what she had to do. She wouldn’t get a second chance if she messed up. The commandos would catch on that they had broken into the place, and they would soon be hunted down. It was quite a scary thought. She would have to work quickly.

Willow slowed her pace, and fell back to walk with Spike. He gave her a cheeky grin, which only made her point her finger at him.

“Are you going to be sensible tonight? I don’t fancy coming home with injuries of *any* kind thank you very much” she told him, keeping the conversation quiet, so that Xander and Buffy didn’t hear.

Spike put his hand on his heart, and pouted

“I wouldn’t let anything harm a hair on your sweet little head ducks!”

She began to blush a little as Spike stared at her, grinning.

“I should think so, too!” she said, softly but sweetly.

She hated him saying things like that. She was used to him being all demanding and sexy. But that was just…sweet. It was strange, but nice. Only on rare occasions would you find William the Bloody, saying something ‘sweet’ to a human.

For the next few minutes, they were silent. They had gotten all the way to the college campus, without talking.

And then, something dawned on Willow. She hadn’t seen Adam. She hadn’t seen what he was capable of. They didn’t even know where he was. He could show up at any minute now. How would they fight him? Her magic wasn’t anything close to powerful, so she wouldn’t even be able to protect herself properly.

Spike looked over to Willow, as he heard her heartbeat speed up. This time, it wasn’t caused by him.

“Are you ok love? Hearts beating ninety to the dozen!” he said, a little concerned. Should a vampire even feel concerned?

Willow looked up at him, and shrugged, squeaking a little as she talked.

“Oh, you know. Peachy” she forced a smile, then went back to worrying

He raised an eyebrow slowly at her, and she sighed

“I’ve suddenly been overwhelmed with the feeling of ‘worry’. For my safety that is. We don’t know anything about Adam. We don’t even know where he is. If Buffy is right, then he’s not exactly bunny-friendly.” She started, getting herself worked up.

“And what if the commandos catch us in the initiative? Do you think they’re going to be kind to a girl who’s trying to hack into their computer system? I think not! They’ll probably take me hostage and experiment on me. Find out where the magic comes from, or something. Then when Buffy finally gets to me, I won’t know who I am. I’ll be drained and…” she continued, but was cut in by Spike

“Willow, would you just calm down? You’re gonna have yourself a fit if you get yourself any more worked up than you already are.” He started

She glanced up at him, and then looked back down to the grass that they were now walking on.

“If this Adam bloke has a brain, he won’t come after us yet. It’d ruin any type of plan he has. *If* he has a plan. And I don’t think you’re gonna be taken hostage by the commandos to be experimented on. No offence love, but your magic isn’t exactly anything to investigate.” He finished

Willow took in a deep breath, and nodded her head slowly.

“I know. I *know*. You can’t blame me for being worried though. It’s what I do. I worry!”

They carried on walking in silence. The silence only lasted a couple of seconds though.

Willows thoughts were suddenly interrupted by something cold entwining with her hand. She looked down. It was Spikes hand. She looked up to protest, but Spike spoke first.

“Bloody hell Willow. You’re not even gonna let me hold your hand? It’s soddin’ comfort. Give me something!” he said, a little annoyed, but didn’t remove his hand from hers.

Willow looked forward, to Buffy and Xander to make sure that they didn’t hear Spikes outburst.

“And what will that lead onto Spike? How far does comfort go in your mind?”

Spike squinted his eyes at her and sighed, purposely trying to make her feel uncomfortable. It worked.

Willow rolled her left shoulder slightly, and looked away from Spike.

“Just…control yourself” was the last thing that she said to him.

As much as Willow would have liked to deny it, Spikes hand felt right in hers. It wasn’t strange, or uncomfortable. It was right. She turned her head away so that Spike couldn’t see the slight smile on her face.

Here she was, with Spike, doing the thing she loved doing most with Oz. Only, the difference is, that she was dating Oz. She was allowed to love it with him.

She shouldn’t be letting Spike hold her hand. But her body craved for the slightest bit of contact they were having. Her body needed it. Ever since she had kissed Spike in her dorm room, they had never touched. Just teased. It should probably have stayed like that, but it’s too late now. Her body had tasted the sensation of Spikes hand in hers, and now it wanted more. Lots more.

Way to go Willow. Congratulations for dealing with your lust over these past few weeks. Now you can just go ahead and ruin everything. Go back to your confusing thoughts, restless nights, and uncomfortable meetings with Spike. You deserve it!

Suddenly, Buffy and Xander came to a stop next to a heap of grass and mud in the ground.

Willow quickly removed her hand from Spikes, and tucked her hair behind her ears, trying not to look suspicious. She became worried at the ‘empty’ feeling she was having without Spikes hand. That was not a good feeling.

“We’re here” Buffy said.

Willow didn’t understand where ‘here’ was, until she walked closer to Buffy and saw that the heap of grass and mud surrounded two metal doors. It was the entrance to the initiative.

Buffy walked up to Willow.

“Are you sure you know what you’re doing? I’d say we have 10 minutes, tops. 7 minutes could be pushing it. As soon as Anya and Giles shut the security system off, the commandos are gonna be straight onto us. It’ll take them at least 5 minutes to find us, but catching us…” she trailed off.

Ok, now the pressure was on.

Willow opened her mouth to speak, but nothing came out. Buffy tilted her head, and rubbed her friends arm sympathetically. Spike had to make himself look away. He wanted to comfort Willow. Rub her arm, kiss her forehead, and make her feel better. But no, they weren’t allowed. How stupid was that?

“If you have any doubts whatsoever, you don’t have to do this. Nobodies forcing you” Buffy said, trying to reassure Willow

Willow stood up straight, and sighed

“I’m gonna do it. I’m gonna try. We need this information, and I’m gonna help get it. With time left at the end for coffee and cookies!”

Buffy smiled at Willow, feeling proud that she had a friend that was willing to be so helpful. She then walked back to Xander.

“Ok Xand, we’re ready.”

Xander pulled the walkie-talkie out of his pocket, and put it close to his mouth.

“Giles, we’re ready” he said, speaking into the walkie-talkie.

The four of them stood around the entrance, waiting for their signal. Willow and Buffy gave one last, quick glance at each other.

The red lights on the entrance switched off.

“We’re in” Buffy said, then quickly opened the doors.

~Part: 3~

Willow jumped down from the entrance into the initiative, and watched on as Buffy and Xander rushed off to find Professor Walsh’s office. She squinted her eyes, trying to clear her vision in the dark. She held Spike’s axe as he climbed down from the opening.

“Sheesh! I didn’t think it would be so dark in here. You’d think they’d be more thoughtful to the people breaking in to steal their files.” She said, handing Spike his axe as soon as he hit the floor.

Spike looked around, and then started walking forwards

“I can see perfectly fine” he told her

“Well whuppee for you Mr ‘I’ve got a ton of extra powerful senses’. Us humans have to work twice as hard you know” she pointed out, walking closely behind him.

Spike looked over his shoulder at her and raised his eyebrow slightly, but kept walking.

“Nervous love?” he asked, a little annoyed at her sarcasm

Willow caught up with him, and folded her arms

“Sorry. It’s just really dark. I don’t handle pressure well in the dark.” She apologised.

“I guessed”

They turned a corner, and headed down a different corridor. Willow kept her eye out for the room she was looking for. “Take the third door on the third corridor” Buffy had told her. It would be so much more helpful if the doors weren’t the same colour as the walls. Maybe then, she would be able to figure out where the heck she was going.

Spike looked around, remembering the last time he had been in the initiative. Damn commandos. They ruined everything for him. If he didn’t have the chip, he could be the vampire he used to be. Wreak havoc on Sunnydale, torture the slayer a little, and then wreak a little more havoc.

But Willow probably wouldn’t even give him the light of day if he didn’t have the chip. She’d be scared of him.

Or not.

Maybe she wouldn’t care. If she trusted him, she’d know that he wouldn’t bite her. Not if she didn’t want him too though, of course.

For now, it was probably best to keep the chip. As much as it pained him to do so, it’s for the best. It was the only thing keeping Willow close to him right now.

“It should probably be down the next corridor.” Willow said, breaking into Spikes thoughts.

“Well let’s not hang around then Red!” Spike perked up, grabbing her hand once more

Willow immediately pulled her hand away, and tucked her hair behind one of her ears. Her pace sped up a little.

Spike watched Willow for a moment, walking slowly behind her, then came to a stop.

“So you can lead me on outside, but everything changes once we’re in here?”

Willow stopped and turned round to face Spike

“Spike, don’t start. Please, just not right now!”

“You’re making me crazy Willow. Just hurry up and make up your mind as to when we can touch and when we can’t, then maybe I can be something close to sane again”

“We shouldn’t be touching at all! We’ve coped pretty well these past few weeks. Now, my heads all confused again. I do want to touch, you know I do. But we can’t. We want…” she was cut off by Spike

“Do us a favour, and *don’t* finish that sentence. I’ve heard it all plenty of times before. ‘We want each other but we can’t have each other’. It pisses me off that we can’t get close” he said, as he fell back against the wall sighing.

Willow watched him as he reached into his jacket pocket and brought out his lighter and a cigarette.

He lit the cigarette, inhaled deeply, and then brought it down to his side. He turned around kicked the wall gently as he inhaled from the cigarette again.

“Would it make you feel any better if I told you that it pisses me off too?” she asked, giving him a slight, sympathetic smile.

He looked up at her, not replying. If it was so much trouble to want her, then why did he even bother? And why had he only just started to notice her for what she was? It was just something about her that made him go crazy. She was so different to any human he had come across before. Beautiful.

“You’re beautiful you know that?” he told her softly, then looked away quickly, feeling a little uncomfortable with what he had just said.

Willow grinned and poked him in the chest

“You’re not too bad yourself mister!”

She watched him for a moment. He was so different to what he used to be like when he first came to Sunnydale. It was probably the chip that did it to him. Without the chip, he didn’t even notice her.

Spike threw his cigarette to the floor.

“Right, you’ve had your coffee and cookie. It’s time to get to work!” he told her, crushing the cigarette with the heel of his boot.

~~~~
Spike opened a door, and looked around the room that he was about to let Willow enter. No commandos, just computers. Obviously the right place.
“I’m guessing this is your place”
He opened the door further, to let Willow walk in, and then he shut it behind her. Willow automatically rushed to a computer and booted it up. She set her bag down on the floor beside her.
“We don’t have much time left!” she said, with no intention for Spike to say anything.
Spike threw his axe onto the floor, and propped himself up onto a desk, and watched as Willow quickly tapped at the computer keyboard. It amazed him how intelligent she was. Back in his day, you wouldn’t even be able to find a woman who could shop for corsets by herself, let alone hack into the computer system of a secret government agency. All fairness to them though, there were no computers back in his day. There might have been a potential Willow somewhere. Cecily was quite smart. Could have been her.
He gritted his teeth as he thought about Cecily. Bitch.
He reached into his pocket for another cigarette, still watching Willow.
He inhaled the lit tobacco, and closed his eyes; enjoying the slightest bit of pleasure it filled his mind with. It was the only kind of pleasure he was getting lately, so he had to enjoy it.
He could easily have any girl in Sunnydale if he wanted to. He knew that. But something inside him told him that it would all be worth it in the end with Willow. That something inside him was probably the last essence of William he had. Only one other person had brought him out, and that was Drusilla. Willow must be special.
He tilted his head to one side, trying to make out if Willow had had any luck on the computer.
“Found anything?” he asked, realising it was simpler to just ask
“I don’t know. I’m just loading whatever I can find, onto a disk. Something on here has got to be about Adam. I’ll have to read what I find when I get home. There’s not enough time to do it here” she told him, not once looking away from the computer screen.
“Speaking of time…” he started, looking up at a clock which was on the wall.
“We don’t have much of it” he finished, crushing his cigarette onto the desk.
Willow didn’t say anything. She just looked up at the clock, then back to the computer screen. Her typing pace sped up, and she rolled her shoulders. The nerves were catching on.
“Who bought this darn computer? The snail in my back yard walks faster than this loads!” she said, becoming impatient.
Spike sighed and jumped down from the desk. He walked over to the door and opened it, to look out. He could hear faint footsteps and shouting in the distance.
“Now would be a great time to be leaving pet!” he told Willow, keeping a lookout by the door.
Willow tapped the computer screen, hoping that it might load quicker if it was under pressure.
70% loaded…73%...76%...
Suddenly, the lights came on, and an alarm sounded. Both Willow and Spike covered their ears from the siren.
“Now would be a *very* good time Willow!” he yelled, trying to make himself heard over the alarm.
85% loaded…86%...89%...90%...
“Come on goddamit!” she yelled at the computer
Spike spotted two commandos walking down the corridor, straight for the room that he and Willow were in. He rushed over to Willow and grabbed her elbow, ready to pull her away when she had got her information.
96%...98%...99%...finished.
Willow quickly removed the floppy disk from the computer, and Spike pulled her away. They ran out of the room and were immediately spotted by the commandos, who were only a few metres away from them. Both of the commandos charged at Willow, who was the nearest to them, but Spike pushed her out of the way. He drew both of his fists back, and threw them forward, with enough force to knock the commandos to the ground, unconscious. The pain caused by the chip filled his head almost straight away, making him scream out in pain, and he fell to the floor.
Willow grabbed his arm, and started to pull him back up again.
“Worth it?” she yelled to him
“Totally *not*” he yelled back, still holding his head in his hands.
They both looked up, as four more commandos came round the corner. Spike pushed himself up and started backing off along with Willow.
“Don’t fancy the mother of all migraines lamb chop. I say we leg it!”
Willow did as he said, and they both ran.
~Part: 4~
More commandos knew where they were, and they were on their tail. Spike had to pull Willow by her arm, to make sure that she kept up to his pace. If they didn't find somewhere to hide soon, the commandos would definitely shoot.
Just as Willow was about to turn a corner, the door to another corridor opened, and Buffy and Xander ran out, knocking into Willow and Spike. There was no time for small talk.
"This way!" Spike yelled, as Willow pushed Buffy and Xander back through to the corridor they had just come from.
Another door opened as Buffy ran past, and two more commandos came out for the attack. Spike stayed well away this time, letting Buffy do the fighting. She grabbed hold of the gun which one commando was carrying, and hit him over the head with it, then immediately spun around to kick the other commando. As the commandos were regaining their balance, Buffy ran off again, along with Willow, Xander and Spike.
They came to another corner, and were faced with a dead end. They stopped, and turned around, looking for any place to go.
"We need to get out of here" Buffy panicked, trying to open the doors which were down this corridor. All of them were locked.
"Why does this place have to be so darn big?" Willow forced out through gasps, as she held her stomach trying to calm a stitch.
Spike watched Buffy failing to open the doors. He groaned and walked over to a door.
"No need to be gentle slayer!" he shouted, raising his leg, and slamming it forward into the door. It crashed down to the ground.
He turned back round to face Buffy, rolling his tongue a little. He loved it when he was better than Buffy.
Suddenly, Spike came tumbling down to the ground, followed by another male. Willow squeaked and walked back into Xander. Buffy went for the attack, but froze her arm, as she realised who the male was.
"Riley!"
Riley looked up at Buffy, surprised to see her.
"Buffy?" he questioned, but then looked back to Spike.
"Would you get *off* of me?" Spike growled, freeing his neck from Riley's hand
Riley stood up, and saw Xander and Willow. He looked back to Buffy, not so sure of what was going on.
"Buffy.what are you doing here?" he asked
"Breaking in and stealing files. You?" she told him, crossing her arms.
"I heard the alarms go off, so I came to help sort the problem out. I've gotta say Buffy, I didn't expect it to be you!"
"Well hey; I'm just full of surprises"
"I hate to interrupt the greeting, but we *are* being chased by men with guns. I say we find a way out now, and say 'hi' later" Xander said, clearing his throat before talking.
Willow glanced over to Spike, trying to see if he was ok. He realised what she was doing, and nodded his head to suggest that he was fine.
Riley looked down the corridor to make sure that his commando pals were nowhere to be seen, and then he gently grabbed hold of Buffy's arm.
"Come on. I'll get you out of here. But you've got to promise me that you'll tell me everything when I get home, ok?"
"I promise. Besides, there are a few questions that I want to ask you anyway" Buffy told him, nodding her head slightly, squinting one of her eyes a little.
They began walking further down the corridor, feeling a little safer with Riley leading the way.
Willow sighed, and then quickly drew in her breath when she heard Spike groaning. She looked over to him, to see that he was holding his head.
"Are you ok?" she asked
"Who cares?" Xander said, scoffing
Spike removed his hand from his head, and glared at Xander. He then looked back to Willow, gritting his teeth before talking.
"I'll get over it" he told Willow, then rubbed his forehead.
Willow gave Xander a glare, even though he wasn't looking at her. Xander couldn't help being horrible to Spike. He got his jollies from it. He probably didn't even think about what Spike might do if he ever got his chip out. He wouldn't exactly be gentle with Xander's death.
Willow frowned, thinking about what it would be like if Spike got his chip out. Would he kill her? Of course he would. He wouldn't spare her life, just because of a stupid lust.
A stupid lust.
Yeah, 'cos that's all that it was.
She began to feel a little ashamed of herself. She *was* leading Spike on. He was right. It was surprising that he had even stuck around to try and get close to her. He could have just left. Moved on to another girl who could do what she liked with him.
So why didn't he?
Maybe she should just tell him to move on.
