~Part: 11~

Buffy had now heard enough.  She had eavesdropped on the group now for 10 minutes.  Standing in the backroom, she had no problem hearing everything they said.

She found it nauseating how they now tried to get Dawn on their side.

She knew that Willow had somehow found a way to wrap up Xander and Giles, and now Dawn.

About Anya she had no thoughts.  She was a demon and she would always be one, mortal or not.

As she heard Willow ask Dawn if she would come to watch movies with all of them, it was enough for Buffy.

She gave up her hiding and walked into the room, armed with a sword.

"What a lovely picture.  But now it`s time to end all this.  Dawn get behind me."

"Buffy, what is this all about.?" Giles tried to understand what was happening.  Anya could see that Buffy was in her Slayer mode and grabbed the baby from her seat on the counter.  She walked the few steps to Willow and gave Gili to her.

Xander knew that when Anya no longer was the sweet, crazy woman he loved, something really bad was about to happen, so he made his way to Willow's other side, making sure not to lose eyecontact with Buffy.

"Stop it, Giles.  You are under a spell.  She used magic again.  Dawn come here NOW!"

Buffy grabbed her sister and shoved her behind the counter, out of reach of the others.

"Buffy, listen, that's not the way it is.  Yes, Willow used magic but not black magic," Dawn was afraid.

Something was really wrong.

"Dawn, I heard the whole 'and then the goddess send me a baby, blah, blah'.  She's lying.  I will end it.  She will die, and then I will take care of Spike and all will be back to normal.  And this baby...I have no idea if it is human, if not it will have to be killed, too."

Everyone in the room was shocked.  They tried to understand what was happening, but it was all too abstract to get.

Only Willow was not surprised by the things Buffy said.  For the last year, she had seen the looks Buffy gave her when she thought nobody was looking.

She had known that the Slayer, her best friend, prepared herself to kill her when she thought it was needed.

And now it seemed that Buffy was ready to do it.

But Willow was no longer alone, and it was not only her that Buffy intended to kill.

She wouldn't allow anyone to threaten the lives, or unlives, of the people she loved.

She took a step forward and placed Gili in Xander's arms, whispering so only Xander and Anya could hear her, "I will take care of this."

Giles could see by the way Willow held herself that she had something planned, so he made himself ready to help her, but he had no idea how.

"You want to kill me, Buffy?  Try it," Willow took a few more steps in Buffy's direction.

"This time I will not fail.  You will die," Buffy started her attack.  She swung the sword in a big arc, with the intention beheading Willow.

But she wasn't able to touch her.  Willow's eyes changed color, from green to gold, and Buffy couldn't move.

"Giles, could you please get the sword?" Willow asked, sounding like she was ask for something really normal and boring.

The Watcher, impressed but still careful, removed the weapon from Buffy's hand.

"Now, Buffy, you will listen to me.  I know that you will not believe me, but I`m not into the dark magic again. Giles, Xander and Anya are not under some sort of spell.  But the most important thing I need to tell you is this, if you try to hurt Gili or Spike, I will go after you, and I don`t have to be evil to say this.  Do you understand?"  With a quick snap of her fingers, she lifted the spell from Buffy.

But, as always, Giles realized that Buffy had never been a quick thinker.  She could hardly move again before she already attacked Willow.

The Slayer hit Willow right in the face, but this had no effect on Willow.  The Witch grabbed her by the neck and slammed her into the counter.

Before the Slayer could renew her attack, Giles stopped her.  "Buffy, I want you to leave.  There is no reason for you to think this way and I want you to go and only come back when your brain is working again."  He pointed to the door to make his point clear.  He was in a rage.  He had never thought that Buffy could be this way toward her best friend.

"But Giles, you're my Watcher.  You should know better.  This is the proof, anyway.  How can you be on her side?  It`s bad magic," Buffy tried to convince him, and a little part of herself.

"Listen to the things you are saying, Buffy, " Anya called out.

Again Buffy wanted to say something, as she looked into Giles' eyes.  She could see the disappointment and rage, and this made her afraid.

"Ok!  I'll leave, but she will have to pay for this, and all of you will see that I`m right about her."  Buffy walked to the door, "Dawn, let's go."

"But Buffy, I don`t want to go," Dawn still standing behind the counter, wanting to make clear that she didn't think the same way Buffy did.

"It`s ok, Dawn.  Go with her," Willow said and then mouthed, "You can come by whenever you want."

As the door closed behind the two sisters, Willow got down on her knees and cried.

~Part: 12~

Giles stopped the car in front of the home of his little family.

His family.  This thought warmed his heart.  He knew that Willow and the others were waiting for him.

They would be sitting around the table and Xander would be moaning about the delay of the Watcher.  Then he would try to take something from the table and he would get hit on the head by Anya.

It was just like some of these american family soaps, where the family had at least eight kids.  He loved it.

He got out of the car, taking the toy he had bought for Gili with him.  It was a little soft toy he hoped she would like.

As he went to enter the house he heard something from his left.  Looking into the dark corner of the porch he could see the light of a cigarette.

"Hello, Spike, did Willow forbid you from smoking in the house?" Giles teased.

"That`s not the reason I'm out here, Rupert.  I've been waiting for you.  What really happened really?"

Giles couldn't make out Spike's features, it was too dark, but he could hear that Spike's voice contained no emotions.

Giles walked over to the bench and sat down beside the vampire.  He grabbed the cigarette from Spike and inhaled deeply.

Spike had no problem seeing the Watcher in the dark.  He had tried to get the information from Xander, but Anya, knowing that he would try it had not left them alone for a second.

"Talk to me.  Willow only said that Buffy was not happy."  Spike had had enough.  He wanted to know what had happened and he wanted to know it now.

"Not happy?  I would not use those words to describe what happened today." fGiles looked straight into Spike's face.  "She is convinced that Willow is back to her evil self and that the only thing that can stop her from destroying the world, or rather, Buffy's world, would be to kill her."

Spike's eyes flashed yellow and only Giles' hand on his shoulder made him calm enough to hear the rest.

"She said that she would end it and kill both of you, and if she came to the conclusion that Gili is not human she would kill her. too."

Now the vampire had heard enough.  He shoved Giles' hand to the side and jumped up, but he didn't go very far.  In the middle of the movement he was stopped by Willow.

Her eyes yellow again, she stepped in front of him, her hands on her hips and not looking very happy.

"What do you think you are doing?  If I wanted you to kill Buffy I would tell you.  She will not hurt anybody.  Which means that you will hurt nobody.  Get it?" she walked over to Spike and kissed him and the spell was broken.

He cuddled her in his arms, "Just let me hurt her a little...?"

"No," was the answer, and he knew that he would do anything she wanted.

Giles watched the two as they held each other.

Then Willow shoved Spike to the door and walked back over to the bench.  She sat down on the spot where only moments ago, Spike had been.

"Giles, I know that you love her," Willow took Giles' hands as she spoke.

"Is it that obvious?" he let his head hang.

"To people that love you it is!" she kissed his cheek.

"I have loved her for so long.  I love the Buffy she used to be.  Or, I love the picture I have of her.  But the Buffy we have seen today is not the Buffy I love, and that hurts."  He turned his head and Willow could see the tears in his eyes.

She took him into her arms, showing him all her love and sympathy.  And then she saw it.  Looking at her with  black button eyes.

"Giles, is this a pink rabbit in your hand?  Coz if it is, would you please hide it from Anya?  Or have you forgotten what happened when Spike came home with the wallpaper with the little bunnies on it?" Willow giggled.

"Oh no.I think I will have to burn it.," and so Willow and Giles went laughing  into the house.  And the little bunny was left alone in the dark dangerous night of Sunnydale.

~Part: 13~

"Ok, I don`t need your help," Buffy threw the telephone receiver into the corner of the room.

Buffy was in rage.  After all she had done for Angel and that bitch Cordelia, they would not even think about helping her with Willow.  How many times had she saved them, not to mention all the good things she had done for Angel, even though he was only a vampire.

What was it with these people?

Could they not see that she, as always, was right?

She now knew that Willow was not back into the dark magic, but she had turned all of her friends away from the Slayer.

And wasn't this just as bad?

She was the important person, and not that little bitch.  Buffy had always had the feeling that Willow would do anything to be the center of attention.

And now she had done it with this cheap trick about being so lonely that a goddess would send her a baby.  As if a goddess would take care of Willow.

So, they all loved the baby as if it was something special. That meant that if there was no longer a baby, Willow would no longer be something special to them..

"I'm leaving now, Buffy.  I will be at Willow's," Dawn, already at the door, said.  She was a little nervous.  Buffy was really behaving strangely.

"Ok, go and have fun," Buffy said, smiling and then as the door was closed behind Dawn.

"Cuddle the baby as long you can."

--------------

"Is everything okay, Dawnie?" Willow was joyfully surprised to see Dawn playing with Gili and Anya, not to mention Spike, who was also on the floor, as she made her way down the stairs.

"Yes, she said it would be fine.  I think she sees now that it`s not the way she thought it was and now you only need to wait until she comes and apologizes," Dawn said with hope in her voice.

"That would be good," Willow made her way in the kitchen and whispered, "but I don`t think it will happen."

~Part: 14~

“Good morning. Are you Willow Rosenberg?” Willow was still half-asleep, but the woman in front of her gave her a bad feeling.

“Yes. Who are you?” The woman had a bitter face. She looked like a nanny from hell, and living on the hellmouth made anything possible.

“My name is Iris Richardson. I`m a social worker. May I come in to talk to you?” The woman shoved Willow aside and entered the house.

Willow could only follow her. She had no clue what was going on.

“Do you want tea, or coffee? We could go into the kitchen,” Willow suggested.

“A cup of tea would be fine.” The two women made their way into the kitchen and in silence Willow made the tea.

“I don`t want to be rude, but could you tell me why you're here?” Willow asked, placing two cups on the table.

“We got a anonymous call from someone who is convinced that you and your companion are not suitable to have parental authority for your daughter, Gili Rosenberg,” Miss Richardson said as she searched through her files.

Willow clung to her cup. At that moment, Spike entered the kitchen. He had heard the whole conversation and was happy that Willow had done her magic-mojo-thing to sun-proof the windows so he could enter every room in the house and Gili would not have to live her life in darkness.

“Good Morning,” he said, kissing Willow on her cheek, and then he gave his best smile to Miss Richardson. ”And who is this beautiful woman?”

Willow could see the changes in the woman immediately. She sat straighter, her eyes started to shine, and the bitterness around her lips disappeared.

“This is Miss Richardson, a social worker, William. And this is William...,” Willow had no idea what his last name was.

"William Marsters, Miss Richardson. It`s a pleasure.” He kissed the older woman's hand.

Willow would have laughed about Spikes choice of his last name, coz there was an acter whose name was James Marsters and Spike was suggesting that this guy looked like him, but at the moment she had too much fear at the thought of losing Gili.

“She's here coz somebody thinks we're not good parents for Gili.” They looked at each other already knowing who this person was.

“That's horrible. Miss Richardson, I assure you that there's no woman on this planet who could be a better mother for our little baby.” Spike had to calm down if he didn't want to vamp out.

“That's the question, and I`m here to find the answer. First, I would like to see her.” And with this she stood up.

“Willow, I'll show Miss Richardson to Gili's room.” And with this they left the room.

---

When the others arrived that evening, they were welcomed by a furious Spike.

“Anya, could you please go to Willow? She's in her room.” Anya kissed Xander and stormed up the stairs. Something must have happened, the ex-demon thought.

The same thing was going through the heads of the both men, who followed Spike into the living room.

“Spike,” Xander knew the vampire well enough to give him the time he needed.

“The bitch would already be dead if I hadn't promised not to touch her.” Xander and Giles knew who Spike meant by 'bitch'.

“The stupid bint sent a social worker to take Gili away. Willow's in her room crying her eyes out," Spike hit the table with a resounding crack that made Xander jump.

“She did what? But Willow's a great mother for Gili! Did they see that or not?” Xander's voice trembled with emotion.

“Of course she's a great mother, but that stupid slayer told them that Willow isn't a fit parent.”

Giles just sat there, not saying a single word.

----

“They will take her away from me,” Willow cried on Anya's shoulder. ”What would I do without her?”

“Shh, nothing will happen. They will see that you are a good mom and that you have a great babysitter.” Anya had never heard of social workers before and so Willow had to explain everything to her.

She felt so sorry for Willow, and if she was still a demon she would...she had no idea what she would do, but she was sure that it would be horrible.

~Part: 15~

Buffy woke with a start. She couldn't see and soon she also noticed that she couldn't move. She panicked. She pulled against her bonds, but not even her slayer strength helped.

Her own breath brushed her face, which could only mean that she was face first against something, and with the smell of damp ruins, it had to be a wall.

Buffy tried to understand what had happened. The last thing she remembered was that on patrol she had been knocked out. But what, or who, held her prisoner, she did not know.

Somebody would come to save her. She heard noises that suggested that rats were nearby. She began to cry. Nobody would come to save her, she had ensured it.

But it wasn't her fault. She was the slayer, and they were the ones who had to be the support around her. They had betrayed her.

She got hiccups and so did not hear the footsteps that would have announced that she no longer was alone.

-----

“Okay, Gili'is in bed and sleeping. We have popcorn and something to drink. What's missing?” Willow asked the group.

“The chips,” Xander murmured as he stuffed the last ones into the mouth.

“What? Xander, you go into the kitchen and get them...this is the second bag. And where is Giles?” Willow cuddled herself between Spike and Anya.

“He said he was meeting an old friend who is only in the city for two days,” Anya watched Xander's back as he walked into the kitchen.

-----

“Oh, the big slayer is nothing more than a little crying girl,” a deep, rough voice whispered into Buffy's ear.

She jumped. She could feel something warm against her back so the person was not a vampire. She let out a small sigh, and then a scream as she felt a blade against her back.

“Let's take a look at you, shall we?” The slayer struggled against the bonds, but could not stop what was happening.

Giles was aware that he was not behaving as he normally would, but all the things Buffy had done made him revert to his old self. He was no longer the nice and quite Rupert Giles, Watcher of the oldest living Slayer. Now he was again Ripper, a person who had no conscience, and since he already had her under his control, why not have fun?

With practiced movements, he cut her blouse and also her skirt open. He had always been of the opinion she looked like a whore in these clothes and so he would handle her like a whore.

Buffy whimpered as the person cut her underwear off of her body. How could this happen to her?

“Such a nice body and no brain. I think I now believe what people say about blondes, or not.”

He reached around her and cupped her pussy, rubbing his palm against it.

“Too bad you left the little curls, these brown curls,” he whispered in her ear.

Buffy got furious. ”You will pay for this...” but she got no further. With a sharp movement he pushed a big red ballgag into her mouth and tightened the strap.

Again she could only struggle against the chains. Giles shoved himself between Buffy and the wall.

“My little Slayer. Do you want to know who it is that has your life in his hands?” he pulled on the scarf that was over Buffy's eyes.

At first everything was blurry and Buffy could only see the shape of the man in front of her. After a few seconds, her sight sharpend and she looked directly into Giles' eyes.

Relief spread though the Slayer, only to be replaced by the fear again.

“You think everything is fine now. Your Watcher would never do anything bad to you,” he began stroking her nipples and then he pinched them hard. ”You are so wrong, my little girl. Do you know that I loved you? The nice Buffy, the Buffy who loved her friends more than herself.” Buffy could see how soft Giles' eyes became. She felt a fluttering in her stomach. Giles loved her. But why was he doing this to her?

“But you are no longer that Buffy. You are so selfish that anyone who is not kissing the floor you walk over has to be punished. Is this the reason you wanted to kill your best friend? Kill a little baby? And when you had no chance to do so, you sic social services on Willow and Spike to take away Gili? Spike is better than you are, at least he can feel love and act selflessly.”

He walked out of the room, giving her time to think, and him time to calm down.

Buffy closed her eyes and a single tear rolled down her face. What had she done? Who had she become?

----

Willow hung up the phone.

“That was Giles. His friend will be staying a little longer and so he will be busy for the next few days.” She walked back to the others.

“I think it`s a woman and he is getting orgasms,” Anya informed the others.

Willow simply ignored her. "Have you seen the nice card from Dawn? This school camp sounds like a lot of fun.”

“We got one, too,” Xander grined at the pouting Anya.

------

Buffy could hear Giles footsteps as he entered the bedroom. It seemed to her that she had spent weeks here. But this was no longer important. He had helped her understand a lot.

After the first night, he had brought her to his bedroom and she had talked with him.

He had loved her and she had never noticed it. She had hurt her friends. She didn`t liked the woman she was and Giles helped her in his own way to understand this.

They had not only talked. After a few nights, he had kissed her and hours of rough, wild sex had followed. It was the best sex of her life, but this was no normal relationship.

Buffy had to grin, he was her master. She would do anything for him. She was dependent upon him.

Giles entered the bedroom and sat down onto the bed. He was naked, as he always was when he wanted to play.

He watched her eyes devour his now hard shaft, the veins bulging with the hot blood coursing through them.

He bent his head and let some spit fall from his mouth onto his tool. He ran his hand up and down his length, coating it, making it glisten in the half-light.

He teased her with the sight of it, pumping the greasy rod with his hand.

"You want this, don't you?" he hissed at her.

"Yes, Master, please let me take your cock in my mouth," Buffy pleaded.

"Crawl to me," he answered, gripping his cock tightly, forcing the blood engorged head to swell purple.

Like a cat, the Slayer crawled to him, eyes glazed with lust. She opened her mouth and Giles thrust his length into her throat and begin to fuck her hot mouth with long, slow, strokes.

She fondled his heavy sac as she sucked him, and Giles allowed himself to relax momentarily.

"Mmmmmmm, you're a good little girl," he said, smiling down at the Slayer. She just grunted her reply, too busy at her craft to pause.

He took her head in his hands and lifted her off his cock, and for a moment she smiled at him as their eyes met, but just for a moment, for in the next, he sent her sprawling back onto the bed.

Buffy lowered her eyes and said, "Master, what would you like me to do for you?"

~Part: 16~

“Willow, everything will be fine, now open that bloody envelope!”

Spike was getting irritated. Two hours ago she had come back from the mail box with an envelope in her hand. He had asked her what it was and she had only said that it was the letter containing the decision of the youth welfare department.

And now she was not brave enough to open it, but she wouldn't let him open it, either.

Xander, Anya and Dawn had arrived in the meantime and they where all sitting at the kitchen table, waiting on Willow.

Anya had enough. She shoved Gili into Spike's arms and grabbed the envelope from Willow. Not caring about the annoyed comments from the witch, she opened it.

It got quiet in the room. Anya, as always, not really interested in the feelings of the others, did not read it aloud.

After she had finished, she put the letter away.

“What?” she asked the others as they stared at her.

“Oh that...,” she had a wicked smile on her face that made Xander shiver. ”I told you everything would be fine. After they got another call from 'the person',” they all looked at each other, coz nobody had told Dawn what Buffy had done, ”who said that it was all a big misunderstanding and they've seen how good you are as a mom and dad, not to mention having the greatest babysitter ever, for Gili, there is no longer a need for supervision from their department.”

They all jumped up and hugged each other, laughing, except for Willow, who was still sitting at the table, crying.

Spike winked at the others and they left the room, letting Willow and Spike have a little time alone.

“It`s over, little bird,” he opened his arms and Willow accepted the offer.

“I know, but I don`t get why Buffy did it.” Spike kissed her. He had no clue why the Slayer had done it, either.

“Perhaps coz she`s a bitch?” he got hit by Willow.

“I meant, why she tried to fix it, and you know that.” She giggled at the hurt puppy look he was giving her.

“Ouch, you hit pretty hard for such a little girl. I have no idea why she did it, but I`m happy that she did.” And with that he kissed his witch, making sure that she no longer had time to think about the Slayer.

~Part: 17~

It was a normal Friday evening, for Sunnydale. The little family of the witch, the vampire and their baby, were sitting with their friends in the living room waiting for the last member of their group to arrive for dinner.

“I will starve to death. Why is Giles always this late?” Xander moaned, rubbing his belly.

“Xander, you've eaten two bags of chips in the last fifteen minutes, so stop the whining,” Willow said, throwing a cushion in his direction.

“I'll take Gili to bed,” Spike walked from person to person with the baby who was already half asleep, so everyone could give her a goodnight kiss.

“Goodnight, Gili!” they all called after them, as Spike climbed the stairs.

A short knock could be heard and Giles entered the house, leaving the door open behind him.

“Hey, G-man, it`s time...,” Xander stopped in the middle of the sentence. Standing in the doorway behind Giles was a very nervous looking Buffy.

Willow, her back to the door, had no idea why Xander, Anya and Dawn looked like they had seen a ghost.

She turned and then jumped up, ready to do anything to make sure that the people she loved would be safe.

“What is she doing here, Rupert?“ Spike had smelled the Slayer and was now wrapping his arms around Willow after storming down the stairs.

“She's here to tell you something,” Giles stepped to the side and took Buffy's hand.

Buffy was afraid to look up at the people that once were the most important thing in her life. She had hurt them so much, but she needed to say a few things, and they would not believe her if she was not even courageous enough to look them in the eyes.

“I know that you don`t want me here, and I'll go as soon as I've said everything.” Buffy looked into the faces of everyone present and clung more tightly to Giles' hand.

“I had a lot of time to think about the things I did to you, to you all,” she looked at Spike, ”and I know that I can't take back the things I said or did...” Buffy briefly had to close her eyes so she wouldn't cry.

“...but I want you to know that I`m sorry. I need you to know that I`m sorry.” Buffy turned and ran out the door.

“I'll go after her,” Giles turned, his heart breaking for his love. He knew how hard this had been for her.

“No, you won't,” Willow said, and everybody looked at her, ”I will.” She grabbed her jacked and walked out into the night.

“So, Rupert, why don`t you tell us how long you and the Slayer've been doing the nasty?” Spike was tense. He knew that whatever was happening between the two women would affect everyone, so he provided a diversion.

“Giles and Buffy? Ouch!" was all Xander said.

Willow didn't have to walk far. Buffy was standing sobbing against a tree only a few feet away from the house.

Willow had no idea what she was doing here, this was her enemy.

She had not only threatened her life, she had also threatened the lives of Spike and Gili.

Walking over to her once-best friend, she lay her hand on Buffy's shoulder.

“Buffy, why don`t you come in and we can have dinner. You know Xander, he's starving.” Buffy turned around and looked into Willow's teary eyes, not sure what to think about this invitation.

“Will...I`m so sorry.”

Willow opened her arms. “Let`s just say we each have our bad side that's sometimes stronger than we are.”

And then the women rested in each other's arms and cried, not knowing that they were being watched.

“Do you think everything will work out?” Dawn asked uncertainly.

“If Willow has any say in it, I`m sure of it,” Spike said, taking a drag from his cigarette.

The End
