“Giles,” Willow groaned as she tried her best to breathe through her mouth, “It’s not that I don’t *like* to help you but umm,” the redhead moved a little sideways from the steam of the large pot, “Why do I get stuck doing the messy work?”

“Because, Willow, I have to read the spell and cast it and I can’t do that and put the ingredients in as well.”

“Couldn’t Xander or you know, Buffy help you or something?” Willow asked as she dropped the stems of a rose into the mixture. “Oh, drat,” she cursed as a thorn poked her in the finger, instinctively, she sucked on her finger as she dropped the rest of the stems into the pot.

As the little bit of her blood hit the mixture, the steam rose and surrounded her, though neither her nor Giles noticed it as the Watcher was deeply engrossed in reading the directions and Willow was sucking on her finger, pouting slightly.

“Yes, well,” Giles finally looked up, “I don’t trust them with this type of spell. Xander usually bumbles about and Buffy can be quite klutzy at times. You, however, do not.”

She smiled slightly at the compliment as she nodded, “Alrighty, the basic stuff is in there,” she stood on her tippy toes, peering at the inside of the pot, “Umm, so, just tell me when to add the rest of the stuff in.”

Giles nodded, “Every time I raise my hand, add in another ingredient.”

Willow stood by the side as she awaited Giles signal.

“Som I sted påkaller,” Giles raised his hand and Willow dropped in the Lanken root. She paused after doing so, wondering why Giles would use Lanken root in an empowering spell for Buffy. He said that he wanted to enhance the Slayer’s powers in her upcoming fight with Adam but it didn’t make any sense. Wasn’t Lanken root used for… She snapped out of her thoughts as she saw Giles’ signal again.

“Disse hellige tillitene inn i denne blandingen,” Willow picked up the various herbs and dropped them in, cringing at the unpleasant change of smell.

“I deg, kraften av disse stoffene,” Giles paused before yelling, “Påkall!”

The steam rose above the pot and swirled about, creating a red storm in the middle of Giles’ living room. Both the Watcher and the witch watched in awe as the steam continued to swirl above them before it all rushed directly into Willow’s chest. The redhead stumbled backwards, grabbing at her chest as she struggled to breathe. She felt strong arms go around her as her vision became hazy.

Giles laid her down on the couch gently before she pushed at him, trying to sit up though she couldn’t see anything except blurs. “Giles?” She rasped, “I-I.. can I have some water?”

“Yes, of course,” he managed before rushing into the kitchen.

Willow put her hand at the side of her head as she massaged her temple, trying to clear her vision. When she looked up, Giles was in front of her, a worried look on his face as he handed her a glass of water. She gulped down the liquid greedily and set the glass in front of her. After a few minutes, her vision was clear once again and she felt a sudden rush of energy go through her. She smiled before getting to her feet, her hand on the sofa as she stood up.

“What-What are you doing?” Giles asked nervously.

“I think I need some fresh air.”

“No, but we must research this. Something went wrong with the spell. Something must’ve,” he grabbed the book off the table as he began to skim over the page, “I don’t understand what could’ve gone wrong though.”

Willow put her hand on the door, “It’s okay, Giles, we’ll figure it out but I don’t want to be stuck in here for the rest of the day. Too stuffy. I need some air if it’s alright?”

“Are you sure?” He asked, still worried but didn’t want to go against her obvious wishes. “Perhaps it’ll be best if you sit down and rest. We don’t know what happened and-“

“Giles,” Willow shook her head, “Really, I feel fine. I was just a little dizzy and now I’m okay. I just need some fresh air.”

“It’s almost sun set, Willow, it’d probably be best if I don’t let you go alone.”

“I’m fine, really, and I found this handy little spell to make vampires go ‘poof’ the other day. Really, I’ll be alright.”

Still unsure, Giles sighed and sat down at the table, “Are you quite sure?”

“Yes,” Willow reassured once again, “I’m positive.” She closed the door with another smile, “Bye Giles.”

“Goodbye, Willow.”

Walking down the street, Willow could feel the gentle breeze caressing her back as she surveyed the scene around her, wondering at how the residents of Sunnydale could be so clueless to their surroundings. The sun had set about a half hour ago and yet, right here in downtown Sunnydale was a huge chunk of the population. Shrugging, she picked up the pace, wanting to get back to her dorm as soon as possible. Not even noticing what was in front of her, Willow ran straight into a certain hard body. One that belonged to a chipped vampire named William the Bloody also known as Spike the Annoying.

Groaning, Willow’s green eyes looked up before widening. She backed away and placed her hands in front of her out of instinct, “S-Spike.”

He looked her over and gripped the paper bag filled with pig’s blood tighter, “Witch.”

She looked down at her hands, wondering if she was seeing things because she could’ve sworn that her palms were glowing red. As if her body was moving on it’s own accord, she stepped closer to him, her breath coming in short pants as she suddenly grabbed at his black shirt.

Spike raised an eyebrow as Willow began to paw him. He smirked, “Getting a little feisty, are we?”

Without answering him, Willow pulled his head down for a rough kiss while her hands traveled all over his body, under his shirt, her fingertips pressing into his abdomen. There was no thought of how she was practically devouring him in the middle of the sidewalk in downtown Sunnydale where *anybody* could see them. The only thing running through her mind was this sudden urge and need to touch and be with Spike. She pulled away, gasping as she pushed him into a darkened alleyway, making him drop the bag on the sidewalk.

Spike stared at her incredulously. Now, it wasn’t that he didn’t find her new found attentions a bad thing or anything of that sort, it was just.. surprising. He didn’t think the little witch had it in her to do anything out of line. And to the Scooby Gang this was definitely out of line what with her kissing him and judging by how she was sucking on his neck, she obviously wanted to do a little more.

Wait a second, what was wrong with him? This was Willow, the good little White Hat, best friend of the Slayer. Oh, he was going to be tortured slowly and then dusted if Buffy and the rest of their lot ever found out this was happening. He pulled her off of him and took a few steps back, trying to avoid the demon screaming inside him, telling him to just shag the girl and claim her. Wait, *claim* her? Where the hell did *that* come from? He paused and snapped himself out of his thoughts, looking at Willow with a curious eye, “Now, it’s not that I don’t like it, luv, but, why the hell are you doing this?”

Willow looked up into his eyes and placed a finger on his lips, pushing him further into the alley so no one could see them unless they *really* looked. She moved his body up against the wall and stepped in front of him, her hands making the lightest touch with his face before traveling south. Her soft hands cupped his growing erection as she leaned forward, her hot breath on his neck as she kissed his way down to his Adam’s apple. She nipped at the skin beneath it and it was that movement that snapped him out of his lust induced haze.

“Willow, what are you *doing*?”

She moved her mouth over his and he closed his eyes, never seeing the faint red light glowing from her palms. As the kiss grew more intense, the red grew darker and darker until it was crimson. She pulled back and her hands moved down, undoing his belt.

His head fell back against the wall as he took in a few unneeded breaths, a part of him still wondering just *what* had gotten into her but now, he was beyond caring. He always did have a thing for her and if she was so adamant about having him, who was he to resist? Grinning, he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her forth, momentarily enjoying her surprise before kissing her, loving the feel of her lips against his. He undid her jeans and broke the kiss to push her jeans down to her ankles. He leaned forward and kissed her kneecap, moving up slowly until he got to her thighs.

Willow was beyond comprehensive thought, knowing that she had to have him and she had to have him now. Not worried about anything else, including the red glow emanating from her palms again, she grabbed his shirt and pulled him up before kicking her jeans off along with her shoes. She wrapped her arms around his neck and jumped up, her legs wrapping around his waist. He stumbled for a moment, surprised at her movements before pushing her up against the wall, understanding her need. She wanted it rough and fast. Well, he was going to have a little fun first.

Smirking, he unbuttoned his jeans before slowly pulling the zipper down. She whimpered at his aching slowness and helped him pull his jeans down, the material settling down near his ankles. Spreading her legs a little bit further, she buried her face in his neck, wanting nothing more then to scream in frustration as he took his time.

Spike stroked himself and checked for her readiness before placing the tip of his member against her entrance, waiting to see what she would do. Willow, already pushed to the edge of insanity due to his teasing, bit down hard on his shoulder, knowing what effect it would have on him. At the bite, Spike pushed himself inside her, his demon coming forth, almost taking full control of his body as he began to pound into her relentlessly.

Willow grabbed onto his shoulders as she leaned back, meeting his thrusts as a small smile appeared onto her face. Neither took notice of the red haze surrounding them as Spike continued to move within her, his blue eyes never shifting from her face as he watched the expressions play across her face.

Spike knew he should’ve gone slower, after all, she hadn’t had anyone except that wolfboy but when she bit him, the demon took over and now, he was slowly gaining that control back. How it was possible that this little slip of a woman could make him lose that control was beyond him. Seeing Willow close her eyes, he growled and kissed her hard, the force making her eyes snap open once again and when he pulled away, she moaned loudly in disappointment before his hand went down to her clit in which the moan turned into one of approval.

Feeling his balls tighten, Spike thrust harder and faster before latching his mouth to hers, swallowing her cry as she came. His hands gripped her waist, no doubt leaving bruises as he slammed into her one last time before pushing himself over the edge.

“Ahh!” Giles cried out of success as he found the origin of what went wrong with the spell. His eyes narrowed, “Larken root not Lanken root. Oh, bloody hell,” he flipped a few pages and his eyes grew wide as he realized what Lanken root was used for. Stumbling out of his chair, he ran for the door and at that same exact moment, it opened.

Xander stepped into Giles’ apartment, expecting a research session but not Giles running into him, obviously in a hurry. “Something wrong?”

“Willow,” Giles managed after regaining his balance, “We must get to Willow.”

“Why?”

“I’ve messed up an ingredient list and somehow managed to put her under a spell.”

Xander raised an eyebrow, “*What* kind of spell?”

“A lust and love spell.”

“You what?” Xander demanded before closing the door behind them as they rushed out of the garden, “I thought you were supposed to be the smart one!”

“I misread the ingredient list.”

“Where could she be though?” Xander asked as they walked down the streets of Sunnydale, frantically searching.

“I-I’ve no clue.” Giles said, heavy guilt in his voice. He stopped short when he saw the brown paper bag in the middle of the sidewalk. He knelt down, opening it and taking out one of the containers, “This is pig’s blood.”

“Pig’s blood? Who would buy pig’s blood and leave it in the middle of the street?”

Without answering, Giles handed the blood to Xander who cringed before taking it and followed Giles down the alleyway. The Watcher’s eyes grew wide as he took in the scene before him, Willow and Spike in an obviously compromising position.

Xander shrieked in horror, dropping the blood as his hands shot up to cover his eyes, “Oh, god, I did not just see that. I did *not* just see that.”
