~Part: 1~ Hell
Willow found out the hard way that opening hell was a lot easier then it looks, one could even do it by accident. She sat sobbing on a large piece of the rubble of what was once the library. It was a dark humid night, the nights were longer now. Now that the demons were in command. They had tried, oh how they had tried, but now they were dead, all dead. All but her, she sat crossed legged waiting quietly for death to come to claim her, whether it be vampire or demon. She just wanted to be numb when death finally arrived, for it to be quick and as painless as possible. She hadn't meant to kill all her friends or suck the world into a literal hell, she hadn't meant to, it was an accident. She stopped thinking, it was too painful, and it was too hard. Willow lay back on the now ruined building, the pages of books still fluttered around her, and a yearbook lay near her.
She laughed a dry dead laugh. How stupid was she? A simple spell gone wrong had ended everything.
" What's so amusing?"
Willow looked up to see Angel standing over her. Relief washed over her and the pain dulled when she looked into his brown puppy dog eyes.
"Angel!" she jumped up and enveloped him in her thin arms.
He chuckled.
"Sorry little one," he leered cruelly
She looked him over, leather and red silk. Of course her day couldn't have gotten any worse, why not this?
"You going to kill me?"
"Maybe," he said and threw her over his shoulder. Willow didn't even bother to fight.
The Masters Pleasure
Celeste unwittingly had driven herself into this situation. This she had come to accept, but what she could not accept was that Phillip was dead. Not even the humane quick stake through the heart way either, no they couldn't be that kind to a couple of renegade traitors. They had broken every joint in his body and then before they could heal left him in an abandoned well shaft, the sun had burned him alive. Some of the new fledging vampires had gotten the idea from a movie called Interview with the Vampire. Celeste kept trying to cry now but she seemed to have used up all the moisture in her body. She wanted to cry, to cry for her constant companion, her brother in arms, her friend. Somehow the tears wouldn't come anymore, but she wanted them too. If nothing else it would show that she was still alive, that they weren't killing her from the inside out, and that she wouldn't die. Celeste couldn't admit to herself that they were doing a good job of breaking her down, of killing her spirit and of finally making her a completely numb robot.
"Slut," the Darla lookalike was back and she would do anything to please her master. Celeste tightened up with her mind going crazy with the knowledge of what was soon to occur. The mans large unforgiving hands were back on her, pulling her to the fate worse then death that was so unkindly bestowed on her.
The master lay on his large silk-sheeted bed, his gaunt body quivering in anticipation. The Darla lookalike bowed deeply and stripped Celeste for her overpowering master. Celeste snorted at the part of him that was unmentionable didn't need to be mentioned even if it was allowed to be mentioned. She chastised herself at that thought after being reminded so cruelly that her brain could not support such complex thought at this moment. She groaned as the burly hands moved her to her fate. The master however was groaning for a completely different reason. Through a system of ropes and pulleys Celeste was lowered on the Masters weak body. The Darla lookalike moved her to her masters liking. Making Celeste nearly vomit on his thin disgusting body and she was greatly relived when he was finished. So grateful that she barely heard call after her.
"Angelus killed my women and now I shall destroy his."
Loss
Willow padded her feet along with the speed of the treadmill, watching the endless monster movies and specials. Goddamn demons she silently cursed. She had to do something even if it was just walking and watching the constant stream of gore.
"Kitten," Angelus called from the other room.
Willow looked at his direction and watched the fluid motion of his body stalk to her.
"Would you mind stopping that it's driving me crazy," he said with a straight face, however it sent fear cascading up her body.
"Like you need an excuse Sire," Spike said despondently and looked at Willow with unbridled hate in his ice eyes.
"So this is the bint that got my Dru killed and Celeste captured?"
"Easy Childe," Angelus warned, " Little Kitten here didn't know what she was doing. Did you little one?"
"No," she murmured and lowered her eyes.
Spike cursed and let his demon fangs come forth with verbosity.
"Well you did. Are you happy?"
Willow felt the dead anger that had been hiding inside of her soul come to fruition and with all the courage she could muster Willow screamed at his insensitivity.
"NO! In fact I am not happy! I fought so hard with all of them! They were so brave to try to fix everything that was wrong. That I made wrong!" She felt the tears fall again.
"We tried so hard and now they're all dead. This is my punishment. To be the only one left alive. This is my hell," she cried so hard that she fell to the rough surface of the treadmill.
Spikes scarred eyebrow raised and he felt just a tad sheepish for having taken his feeling of loss and insignificance on her. He moved forward to if not apologize then to at least try to comfort her. Angelus was already at her side stroking her hair.
"Shush kitten. Spikey boy here's just had a rough day."
Spike took an unneeded breath.
"Red will you help us?"
Willow looked up with confused eyes.
"Help you what?"
Angelus came down to her level and wrapped her up in his silk incased arms.
"Bring down the Master," Spike explained, " And bring the world back to what it used to be?"
Willow was so confused she didn't even notice that Angelus had a firm hold on her, otherwise she would have been too scarred to speak.
"But I don't understand, I thought you two would like the would like this?" Angelus lips brushed up against her soft neck and the shell of her ear.
"Oh there is so much you don't understand."
"Well then why don't we go and explain it to her rather then molesting her Sire?" Spike said with great annoyance in his voice and he turned into the living room.
Willow jumped from Angelus arms as she then realized her situation.
"Yes, why don't we?"
"After you kitten," Angelus purred and took her arm in his.
Explanation
Spike sat across from Willow with the most unthreatening face he could muster. Angelus on the other hand was doing his best to get his hands up her skirt.
"Honestly Sire you've laxed on your seduction skills."
"And you've increased your vocab, must have been from banging Celeste. Everyone seems to learn something by osmosis from her," Angelus sneered and let go of Willow. She gave Spike a thankful nod and inched her chair over as far as she could away from Angelus.
"Any road," Spike interrupted, " Why we're all here."
"Yes Willow why are we all here?" Angelus asked and tossed his head and glare in her direction. Willow returned his glare with equal determination.
"What does it matter how it happened? All we need to know is how to return the world back to where it was," Willow gave a rather un-her snap.
"It might help to know, pet," Spike urged.
"It won't help to know so leave it alone," Willow ground out.
Spike opened his mouth to speak but was silenced by Angelus's hand.
"If she doesn't want to tell us she doesn't have to, for now," Angelus sent her a wicked smile.
Willow breathed deeply, this was not going the way she expected at all. If she wasn't so sad she might have laughed. Here she was the good one, opening hell upon the earth and now sitting with two master vampires, one being very desperate if he wanted to screw her that bad.
"Why do you want things back the way they were?" Willow was truly curious. Wouldn't these two want it to be this way? A world where Demons ruled, slayers being killed like flies and humans were slaves? Wouldn't they want it like that? Wouldn't they like that everyone was miserable and wishing that they were dead or sucking up to them?
"Because luv, here we're not in charge," Angelus said and brushed a hand against her knee. Spike rolled his eyes and plunked his elbows on the table. "That's not all of it Luv," Spike explained, "Vampires need humans to live."
"How so?" Willow asked
"Because luv I like humans, they make nice meals, run the world pretty well and deny I our very existence."
"What's so wrong here?"
"Demons are not the best world leaders," Angelus admitted.
Willow finally understood now, the demons would kill this world and themselves in turn. These vampires were doing this for their very survival.
"Will you help us Red?" Spike inquired again.
Willow thought about her options, she was sure she would die if she didn't help them, either by their hands or some other demons. Didn't she want it to be the way it was before? But it never would be the way it was before, they were all dead.
"I'll help," agreed Willow.
"Thank you Willow," Spike let out an unneeded breath and stepped away from the table.
"Now all I'm going to bed," He leaned closer to Willow, "If you want me to walk you to your room so that the boogey man can't get to you I'll be happy to."
Willow felt relief wash over her and she quickly took his hand.
Angelus shot him an I'll get you look before slapping a hard quick kiss on Willow.
"I'll see you two in the evening," Angelus growled and stormed out of the room.
Willow looked up at the bleach blonde.
"Thank you Spike," Willow sighed and hesitantly kissed his cheek.
" Don't mention it luv, always glad to help a lady escape me sire," Spike sent her a sad but friendly smile.
Willow smiled back, feeling the faint twinges of hope rise in her. Willow put her arm in his and let him walk her to her room.
