~Part: 1~

Buffy couldn't figure out why Spike would choose to take Willow over staying here and fawning over her. Everyone fawned over her. That was the whole point of being a slayer. Well that and the killing of monsters but that wasn't as important as everyone bowing to her whims. I mean Willow had no cause to be upset with her. She was only showing an interest in her relationships and wanted a wider knowledge in which to pull from.

Surely her friend would understand if only she would come back. Willow would be made to see the truth. And she wouldn't be away much longer, I mean she couldn't be. No-one could be away too long. Except Angel and he was pining so that was ok. This decided Buffy was happy and set out to find the cute jock she'd had her eye on. She thought his name was Graham.

-----------------------------------

Giles slammed the phone down. The council as usual had been of no help. Well they had said that normally slayers died in their teens so no-one knew if they went bad as they grew older. He had surmised that because slayers had the whole super power thing that they could be prone to selfishness and spite. Giles reluctantly came to the realisation that the trial on a slayer's eighteenth birthday was a way of killing them off before they became a danger to themselves and society as a whole.

He couldn't decide what to do now. Buffy had been like a daughter to him and now he was faced with the possibility that she should no longer remain alive. The ripper in him stirred but was stamped down. He needed to be calm and coherent to think this out. The other problem on his mind was Willow. She had disappeared with Spike two weeks previously and they still hadn't heard from her. He hoped she was ok and that the blonde vampire hadn't done anything daft.

~Part: 2~

Willow woke up. She was slightly dizzy and couldn't quite figure out where she was. She felt things peripherally, like hazy points in the back of her mind. She reached towards one, and suddenly she linked minds with Cordelia. "Wow, the little witch muttered. Cordelia murmured in agreement. "Side affect of the spell?" Willow mentally shook her head, "No it is the spell, we are all bound together and Angel's soul is held in place. It would only have worked on everyone in the room if each and every persons feelings were matched in intensity." She gave a mischievous grin. "Looks like we've all been hiding things from each other.

Cordelia stayed silent for a while to process things. So now her and Willow were bound to each other and to two master vampires. This could prove interesting. Back in the real world a faint blush moved over her body. A scent of her arousal filled the air. This roused the two sleeping vampires. They noticed that there seemed to be more people in their head than the usual demon. Reaching mentally they grasped hold of the two girls and joined them on the mindscape.

Spike was impressed. He had his red for an eternity and angelus wasn't going to go all destroy the world on them. Life couldn't be better, except as the sly red head pointed out, that the slayers life was not yet a misery. They would have to go to Sunnydale and soon, but not before they explored this new connection between them.
