Matchmaker Series: Part I

July 1999 Willow looked at the old mansion and frowned. Angel had been gone for a little over a month. He had left for LA as soon as the mayor had been defeated. She started toward the front door and paused. She didn't know why, but this old house always creeped her out. If it weren't for Giles and Buffy, she would never have come here alone.

Giles had left a book here months before. He needed it to research for some demon that was heading for Sunnydale. Buffy couldn't bring herself to enter it, fearful of memories of Angel. She was still trying to get over the relationship and Willow didn't want her to face this so soon. So, Willow got the task of searching for the book. She grimaced as she entered the house.

It was actually a beautiful old house, if it had been kept up. Willow could see in her mind how perfect it could be. She searched the living room but found nothing. Sighing, she started up the stairs. Giles had told her that Angel had borrowed the book for his own research. That meant it could be anywhere. She began searching the rooms as she came to them. She had never been upstairs before, so she had no idea which room had been Angel's.

Most of the rooms she had been in were dusty and smelled like Xander's old socks. She could see the antiques that furnished them. Wondered why Angel had never emptied them after purchasing the mansion. He had told her before leaving that he had the deed to the land and the house. It seemed that when he got back from hell, he hadn't wanted to live in an abandoned house. So, he had bought it. Only to leave within a year. It was a shame for it to remain empty.

Willow opened the door to the last room on the right. She stopped before entering. She saw a wheelchair in the corner. She saw how nice everything looked. She smelled roses and jasmine. This had been Spike and Dru's room. She almost didn't enter, but she had to look for the book. Actually, she doubted that Angel ever came in this room. Curiosity made her investigate.

She ran her hand over the clothing that had been left. Pretty dresses made of the finest materials. She was surprised to see several articles of male clothing. She had only seen Spike in that one outfit the entire time he had terrorized Sunnydale. She leaned forward, the scent of his shirts rather intoxicating. She moved from the closet. There was no book. She started to walk away but tripped on the carpet. She let out a small oof as she hit the floor.

She looked up and started under the bed. What was that? She moved, reaching for a box that was sitting near the wall. She pulled it out and looked at it curiously. It was old. Very pretty. She looked around guiltily before catching herself. No one would know she had peaked. Besides, they had left it behind when they had left. Of course, she knew that they had left in a hurry, leaving behind most of their possessions. Curiosity finally got the better of her as she opened the metal box.

Willow sat back, her back against the bed as she pulled out the first of two stacks of envelopes. There had to be more than a hundred letters in each huge stack. She again wondered if she should just leave them and look for the book. She noticed the name on the envelope and froze. They were addressed to a William Kent in various parts of the world. The envelopes ranged in type. There were many that were yellowing with age. Others appeared still white. She untied the ribbon binding them and reached for the first letter. She gently opened it, careful of the paper. It was very old. Her eyes found a date. April 1867. Wow. She began to read.

'William - I regret leaving this morning without saying goodbye but alas I am unable to be with you. I wanted nothing more than to kiss those sweet lips and stay in your arms until time stood still. I do love you but I will not harm you. Staying with me will be a terrible injustice on you my friend. I do not understand the effect you have on me, as it is new. I beseech you to understand. You are my light. I want you with me for eternity but I can not curse you that way. Please do not contact me. I can not keep my good intentions while staring into your beautiful blue eyes. My control will slip and I will turn into something that will horrify you my sweet William. Remember that I will love you always A'

Willow gulped. She folded the letter and placed it back into the envelope. She remembered suddenly Giles telling them that Spike was also known as William the Bloody. He was the William in this letter. She knew she must have a puzzled look on her face. Angel had written the letter? No, she corrected herself. Angelus had written the letter....to a human William? She reached for the next letter. She wanted some answers.

She read through several more letters. They were all similar to the first. Regrets about not staying......promises of love. Angelus had loved a human. She couldn't imagine that man that had terrorized them ever loving anything. Yet, she had the words. He had tried desperately to stay away from William. It appeared that William had felt the same way, seeking him out. She felt pity for the human. He had fallen in love with a monster. She came to a letter dated October 1867.

'William - I am not sorry for what I did. I now have you with me forever. I still love you, my childe. It will take you awhile to understand what has happened. I will not let you go, so accept that now. This was never my intention. When I saw you bleeding the evening before, I knew that I could not sit and watch you die. Times will be rough but, together, we can do anything. I know that you keep my letters as I keep yours. That is why I am writing this instead of speaking to you. I am not positive that you would even speak to me now considering what I have made you. I can only hope for forgiveness. I love you my dear childe. A'

Willow closed her eyes. Spike had been dying. That was the reason Angelus had made him. She couldn't believe this. She glanced through the letters. There were so many....all in the same handwriting. The dates ranged from 1867 all the way to 1997. She couldn't believe it. Angel had still written faithfully to his childe. She understood now why he had not been able to kill Spike. He still loved him, after all these years. She felt tears in her eyes as she reached for the next letter. She had to see what had happened between them.

Willow sighed as she laid her head on the damp pillow. She had finished the last letter, dated after before Spike and Dru had arrived in Sunnydale. She wiped the tears from her face. It had been so sad. Angel's words stayed in her mind. To be loved that deeply.....she wondered if she would ever be lucky enough to discover that.

She had read about their lives together. About William's gradual change into the monster that Angelus had feared he'd become.....of the change of his name to Spike as he discovered torture...of the love that had grown between the men with every passing day. Then, she had read about Angelus's growing obsession with Drusilla....of Spike's hatred for the girl who was taking his lover away....of the times when all three were together...of Angelus's intense need to have Spike's loyalty.....of his jealousy of Spike and Dru's friendship as it evolved over the years....of his treatment of Spike and his regrets soon after.....of the curse that finally separated the two lovers. The letters had changed, becoming more like they were in the beginning. She had read the farewell from Angel as he had left. The letters that began after Spike had found his lover. Of Angel's guilt over all that he had done.....of his need to be alone.....of his continuing love for Spike...of the feelings that he tried to deny but could not.

Willow felt bad for them both. She knew that she was a hopeless romantic. She tried to keep that fact hidden, just imagining Xander's reaction to her frilly girly thoughts. She hurt for what Angel had lost....she hurt for what William had lost. She closed her eyes then opened them again. She suddenly remembered the other stack. She looked down at the box and reached for them. She noticed the handwriting had changed. These were not from Angel. She looked at the front and frowned. They were to Angel. How did Spike get them if they were Angel's? She opened the first one, noticing the date. It was 1867. The signature at the bottom was William. Angel had kept his letters over the years.

She glanced at her watch and was surprised to see that twelve hours had passed. She hurriedly got up, putting the envelopes back in the box. She raced through the house finally finding Angel's bedroom. The book was on top of his dresser. She grabbed it then went back to Spike's room. She picked up the box and took it with her. She wanted to read the remainder of the letter. She needed to know how Spike had felt about the changes in their lives. She knew it was bad of her to read their private letters. But, Angel was her friend. She wanted to understand what he had gone through. Besides, they were so sweet....so loving, she couldn't not read them.

She left the mansion and went to give Giles' the book. She kept the box a secret. She knew Buffy was in no position to find out that her ex boyfriend had feelings for one of her greatest enemies. It would be cruel of Willow to let her know. No, this would be her secret. She wouldn't even let Angel know that she knew. He had so much on his mind that he didn't need that guilt brought back up.

She suddenly wondered if he would allow her to move into the mansion, rent it from him. They needed somewhere to research and meet since the library had been destroyed. She could live there while she went to college in the fall. She'd call him when she worked out the details. She was sure he'd say yes.

Spike looked up at the redhead standing in the doorway. Her eyes were wide with curiosity and fear. He smiled, his teeth white in the darkness.

"You're the slayer's little friend aren't you?"

"The name is Willow. What are you doing in my house?"

"Your house? What the hell happened to Peaches?"

Willow saw the worry in Spike's eyes and almost smiled. "He's in LA."

"Bloody hell. Wouldn't you know? I finally swallow my fucking pride, come back to this hell to beg for forgiveness and the bastard has already run away. Again."

"I'm sorry" Willow said, not sure what to tell him....hoping he didn't decide to kill her.

"Not your fault pet. The bastard always leaves. Just his way. Well, this sure has been a lovely chat, but I guess I'd better find somewhere to stay." He turned to go back down the stairs.

"Wait....you can stay here. There's plenty of room." Willow closed her mouth wondering where the words had come from. She felt sorry for him. She'd seen the hurt in his eyes when he learned that Angel wasn't there. She couldn't help remembering the letters that she had found.

Spike looked at her, studied her. He saw the honesty in her eyes. She wasn't scared of him. "Bet the slayer would love that. I'd wake up with a stake in my heart."

Willow smiled and challenged, "Didn't think you gave a damn to what the slayer thought."

Spike snorted. "I don't luv. Just like knowing I'll wake up and not be dust."

"I asked you to stay. There isn't a lot that Buffy could say. Besides, she won't be over until early next week. She's got plans for the weekend." Willow said.

"You live in this place alone?" Spike asked curiously. He didn't know why the hell he was chatting with human. He should have bit her and left her body for the slayer. He saw something familiar in her eyes though. She was lonely, just like him. He missed Angel. There had been no letters in over a year. The bloody bastard still blamed him for helping send him to hell. He couldn't really blame him. He'd had his reasons though.

"Yes." Willow said softly. "It isn't that bad, not really. I'm used to living alone so this is just being alone on a larger scale."

Spike looked at her a while longer before saying, "Sure, I'll stay. Beats sleeping in the sewers. I'll take my old room. I know I left some stuff here...unless Peaches through it out."

"It's there" Willow said, wondering if he would notice the letters missing.

Willow turned to go back to her room. She heard the soft words whispered from the vampire, "Thanks Red".

She smiled as she closed her door. She didn't know why, but she felt safe knowing he was down the hall. She drifted off to sleep wondering if Angel still loved Spike as much as the younger man loved him.

* * * * *

"So, you add x to y and that gives you z."

"Ok. That means, 6 plus 7 ...z is thirteen?"

"Yes!" Willow said smiling.

"Wow. I got it. It seems easier when you explain it" Buffy said, looking up from her book.

It was Sunday afternoon. The girls were sitting at the small table in Willow's kitchen studying.

"I've had practive teaching" Willow pointed out.

Buffy started to answer when her mouth fell open. She watched as Spike...a half naked Spike...wandered into the kitchen. He rubbed Willow's head then went to the refrigerator. She watched astonished as he grabbed a mug and opened a bag of blood. He came to them and leaned leisurely against the bar, sipping from the mug.

"Morning luv" he said, smiling at Willow.

"Spike, it's afternoon."

"Willow" Buffy said through clenched teeth, "What the hell is Spike doing standing in your kitchen...shirtless?"

"Drinking blood" Willow said innocently. She glanced at Spike. "About the shirt, well...maybe he needs to do laundry?"

"You keep this place too hot pet. A man can't wear too much without passing out."

Willow stuck her tongue out at him. "Is not hot. Too cold."

He rolled his eyes. "Don't think that satisfied your little friend Red."

Willow glanced at Buffy and saw the confusion on her face.

"Buffy, Spike came back to see Angel. Since he's gone, I invited Spike to stay with me while he was in town. He's been great. He fixed that faucet in the bathroom and painted the spare bedroom."

"A regular handy man, I am" Spike said, smiling proudly.

"You invited a killer to stay with you?" Buffy asked, trying to understand.

"He hasn't killed anyone since he got here."

"Willow...I thought you were the smart one? You're lucky he hasn't killed you. How long has he been here?"

"Three weeks" Willow said, staring into her friend's eyes. "No violence. No unexplained deaths. You didn't even know he was back in town. So, what do have to warn me about now?"

"Three weeks?" Buffy said softly. "You never told me."

"It wasn't important. Buffy, it's been nice having a roommate. Underneath it all, he's not a bad guy. Well, except for the blood lust tendencies."

"I've been working on those luv" Spike said, sipping from his mug.

He didn't know why he was still here. He knew he should have left, but it was nice having someone to talk to. It appeared that Willow had found out about him and Angelus. She listened to him whine every night. He didn't know why she put up with him. Yes, he did. She was lonely. She was actually all right, for a mortal. Too bad she didn't have better taste in her friends.

"Willow, you're an adult. I trust you. I think you're crazy but I trust you." She looked at Spike. "Hurt her and I'll torture you until you beg to die."

"Hurt Red? Why on Earth would I do something stupid like that?" Spike asked, his voice sincere.

Buffy just shook her head. "I'd better go. I'll warn the others about your little house guest Wills. Would hate for Xander to stumble on him and accidentally stake the bastard."

"Maybe I should tell them" Willow said, worry in her voice.

Buffy had to laugh. "No, seriously. I'll do it. Besides, I'd hate to get ashes in that carpet. They'd probably never come up."

"Buffy....thanks" Willow said, seeing her friend to the door.

"I don't understand what you have planned. Just, be careful" Buffy said softly before leaving.

"So pet, that went well. What are we doing today?"

"I thought we'd watch some tv." Willow said turning back to Spike and smiling as she sat on the comfy sofa in the living room. Buffy had no idea what she had planned. If she did, she'd never hear the end of it. She didn't have to worry about Willow getting hurt though. She was going to be helping two friends reclaim a love that they had thought was lost. She smiled as she flipped through the channels.

* * * * *

"Every thing is fine Angel." Willow said, rolling her eyes.

It was their weekly call. Spike had been with her for a little over a month. So far, Angel hadn't found out. It was getting more difficult to keep it a secret. She knew that it wasn't time though. He just knew that she had a roommate that had moved in in October.

"Do you still hate LA?"

"Yes. The smell is awful. Why did I move here again?"

"To get away from Buffy."

"That's right. How is she?"

"Over you."

"Ouch. Blunt little thing aren't you?"

"She's moved on Angel. Don't you think it's time that you did?"

"Will, I am not going to start dating just because my ex has."

"I meant, come back to Sunnydale."

"What?"

"You hate LA. I have plenty of room here in your house. You won't even notice I'm here. We need you here. I miss you."

"You don't need me. Xander and Giles still hate me for what Angelus did. Buffy may be dating, but my reappearance would re-open old wounds....."

"You're tempted. Admit it."

"I am."

"Then, go for it. Give in to temptation. It will do wonders for your personality."

"Are you suggesting that my personality is lacking?"

"Me? Never."

"Why don't I believe you?"

Willow laughed. "Just think about it. I'd love to have the company."

"Ok. I'll think about it. Moving to another subject, how is that roomie of yours working out?"

"Great. Better than I ever would have dreamed."

"I'm glad. I worried about you in that house by yourself."

"I hear the doorbell. It's probably Buffy. I'd better go. Think about what I said."

"Always. Same time next week?"

"Always. Until then, be safe." Willow hung up.

She sighed. There was no one at the door. She just didn't want to get into a discussion about her roommate. It was odd. She and Angel had spoken more since he had left in June than they did the entire three years he lived in Sunnydale. They had actually become very good friends. They spoke at least once a week, sometimes more. She knew that he and Spike were meant for each other. She just hoped that they didn't mind her matchmaking. She had come to love them both as dear friends. She wanted to see them happy. She hoped that Angel would break down and come back. It would make her task easier if he were in the same house as Spike. She got up and went to make some cocoa.

* * * * *

"Why did you help Buffy?"

Spike looked at Willow several moments before answering. "The Angelus that you knew wasn't the Angelus that I had known. I mean, he was but he wasn't. Damn, that makes no sense."

"Reading the letters, I couldn't believe that they were the same person. I saw the sarcasm....the game playing....the manipulation....but I never saw the anger. The thirst for revenge.....he seemed so evil....bent on destroying everyone."

"I know" Spike said frowning. "Believe me pet. I would have done anything if he'd been the same....but he wasn't. I know it was the curse. It had to be. It made him need vengeance on what had caused happiness. In this case, the bloody slayer."

"He didn't love you did he?"

Spike glanced at her. "No. He resented me. Did everything he could to destroy me."

"Why?"

"Long story luv. Let's just say that over the last 80 years, I became closer to Angel in those letters than I was to Angelus our last ten years together. Things were never the same between us after Dru. In Angel, I discovered what I had known before."

"Angelus was jealous of Angel then."

"I don't know. I honestly have no idea if Angelus even gave me a second thought."

Willow decided to hold the questions. Spike was looking depressed. What had started out as a fun, getting to know you night had turned rather melancholy.

"I came to Sunnydale for Angel...do you have any idea how much it hurt to get here and find him with the slayer? The damn slayer for bloody sake. He acted as though he hadn't thought about me since he was cursed. I had a fucking letter in my pocket dated one month before and he ignores me.....tries to kill me. I was stupid. Still am. No matter how hard I try, I always come back to him."

"I'm sorry." Willow said softly.

Spike looked at her and smiled wryly. "Not your fault I'm an idiot luv. Here I am again. Hoping....knowing it won't happen. He's past me now. I just wish I could get over it that easily."

"He's not over you." Willow said, determination in her voice. "He would have stayed with Buffy if he hadn't loved you. You are his light, even now. Never give up that hope. It will all work out."

"Wish I could be that sure Red."

"Trust me" Willow said, hoping that she could deliver.

* * * * *

"I don't know why I need a tree. I don't even celebrate Christmas."

"The tree is for me luv. Always wanted one. Now, quit whining and help."

"If it isn't mine, why should I?" Willow said, smirking.

Spike advanced towards her slowly, a smile on his handsome face. "Because, I need help."

"Like I don't know that. But, I'm not a trained psychiatrist. Nothing I can do for you."

Spike moved quickly, trying to grab her. She squealed and ran away, kicking a box of ornaments.

"Damn, Blondie. Did you buy out the store? I do hope there were some things left on the shelf."

"I left a lot." Spike said, still trying to get her. He stopped. "Do you think I overdid it?"

She smiled and looked around at the many packages or decorations and lights. "Is there any part of the outside not covered in twinkling lights?"

"Not really" he said sheepishly. "It's your fault. Every time I showed you something you just smiled and let me buy it. See? You have to help me" he said, his eyes pleading.

"Make me" she said.

He chuckled sinisterly. "Not a problem little girl" he started chasing her.

She moved around the room, dodging boxed. She was laughing so hard that she was caught easily. He started to tickle her, her hands trying to push him off. She looked up into his blue eyes and felt the smile freeze. She felt a shiver of arousal go through her. She stopped laughing and sat up, knocking him off balance and onto his fine ass. She didn't hear the door open until a worried voice called out.

"Willow, are you ok? Get away from her Spike!"

She looked up, her eyes wide. Angel was starting towards them, his angry gaze on Spike. She sighed. It was going to be a long night.

"Angel!" Willow said, smiling and standing. She stopped him before he could advance farther and hugged him tightly. "You're here. For good?"

He looked into her eyes and couldn't resist smiling. "Yes. Seems someone wise told me it was time to face my past and move onto the future. What's he doing here?"

"Spike? Oh, he's my roommate." Willow said turning and heading to the couch.

"What?" Angel said, his voice too calm.

"I live here Peaches. Have since October. I protect Red from the nasty creatures of the night."

"Who protects her from you?" Angel asked, his eyes serious.

Spike sighed. "Why does everyone think I'm going to hurt her?"

"Angel, I already have one father, sort of. I don't need another. Spike has been great. Hell, I'd say he was pretty much my best friend right now."

"He's a killer."

"So were you."

Angel couldn't keep the hurt from his eyes.

"I'm sorry. Defense mechanism. You went after my friend. I meant, you changed. Why can't he?"

"Because..." Angel thought. "he doesn't have a soul."

"Your point?"

"I'm not going to win this one am I?" Angel said, seeing the look in Willow's eyes.

"No" She said smiling. "Spike,"

"Yes my pet?"

"Go bring Angel's things in. He's still in the same room."

Spike thought a moment then smiled. "If I do, you have to get in the spirit of things and help me decorate."

"Blackmail?" Willow said, trying to keep the humor from her eyes. "I thought that was beneath you."

"I'm pretty choosy as to what gets beneath me luv" he said winking.

She rolled her eyes. "Go. I'll help decorate the damn tree."

He left the room, avoiding looking at Angel. He was whistling Jingle Bells.

"Angel, I know this might seem strange. But he has changed. He hasn't threatened me even once. He still feeds, but doesn't kill anyone anymore. I know there are some issues between you two. I hope we can all get past those and be happy."

Angel smiled. "Of course. I don't have any issues with him though. I'd rather reserve my opinion until I witness this transformation myself."

"I'm glad you're here." Willow said, hugging him tightly. She breathed in his scent. She hoped that they would be able to rediscover their love. She would just have to help them along.

* * * * *

Angel finished unpacking his suitcase. He glanced around the room, surprised to see that nothing had been changed. He headed downstairs to see what Willow was doing.

Angel heard the laughter coming from the living room. He leaned against the door and smiled slightly. Willow was on the floor, tinsel in her hair. Spike was standing beside the huge tree, dodging the small hooks that Willow was throwing at him. They were talking and laughing like old friends. He remained silent, using the time to observe them.

Willow amazed him. He had never expected anyone to take the time to keep up with him after he had left. She had not only done that, but had fast become a very good friend. Their weekly phone calls had often been the highlight of his week. She had a knack for cheering him up with stories of the others or tales of college life. It had taken him leaving to realize how special the girl truly was. His eyes strayed to Spike.

He felt the familiar tightening in his stomach as he looked up his childe. Still so handsome....he seemed happy. Angel couldn't forget him. Even after being cursed, the love he had known for the man had simply grown. He felt guilty over how he had treated Spike those months when he was Angelus. He wondered if the man would ever forgive him. His eyes softened as Spike's laughter drifted across the room.

Willow reached for a red glass ball, noticing Angel for the first time. His eyes were on Spike, a soft expression in them. She smiled. She somehow didn't think they'd need her help to rekindle that flame. It appeared that it had never gone out. She moved quietly, grabbing a handful of tinsel. She knew that Angel was engrossed in his watching. She moved beside him and quickly put the tinsel on his head, moving back before he could react.

Angel felt something falling on his head and glanced at Willow's laughing face. He shook his head, seeing the silver strands falling to the floor.

Spike laughed at the sight of his sire covered in silver. "Better watch out Red. You messed with his hair. He won't let that one go."

Willow smirked at him. "You can protect me from him."

"I think I'll stay out of this one." Spike said, enjoying the sight of his lover. It had been too long.

Angel looked at Willow, his eyes glistening. "You want to play?" he asked silkily.

Willow froze at the tone of his voice. Heat spread through her as her mind came up with images. She shook her head. "I thought you needed to participate."

"Oh, I'll participate." he said, moving gracefully towards her. She gulped at the danger in his eyes.

"I'm sorry I touched your hair" she said, moving away.

He lunged at her, his hands going around her waist. "Gotcha."

Willow saw the smile on his face and tried to smile back. "Well, at least you're having fun."

He let her go, looking amazed. "I actually am."

"Why don't you help Spike with the tree. I'm going to grab something to eat." Willow said, hurrying from the room.

Spike looked at Angel. Angel looked at Spike. Silence filled the room.

"You have changed haven't you?" Angel finally broke the silence.

"I'd like to think I've matured." Spike said, staring into those brown eyes that made him melt.

"I can see the differences. The Spike I used to know would never have lived with a human much less become friends with her."

"I don't really think of Red as a human. She's just Willow." Spike said, smiling softly. "She's special."

"I know" Angel said, leaning over to pick up an ornament.

"She knows" Spike said quietly, turning back to the tree.

"Knows what?"

"About us."

"What?" Angel stood frozen.

"She found the letters early this summer. Read them all."

"The letters? Mine were lost....."

Spike shook his head. "No. After you changed, I took them. I didn't want Angelus to read what you and I had written. I just thought it would be better."

"He had to have known. He had my memories."

"He had other things on his mind" Spike said, still decorating the tree.

"I'm glad you have them. I hated the idea that they were lost....they mean a lot to me." Angel's voice drifted off.

"Will has them actually. I never asked for them back."

"I'm sorry" two voices spoke at once.

"What?" Spike said, looking at Angel again.

"For Angelus...how he acted. It was my fault."

"No it wasn't. Anyway, I'm the one that betrayed you...I helped send you to hell." Spike's voice showed his pain at that knowledge.

"You had to." Angel said.

They both stared at each other a few more moments before smiling. Spike looked at the tree.

"Beauty isn't she?"

"Very nice. Big."

"You know me. I always like them big."

Angel groaned and reached to put the ornament on the tree. Now that the ice had been broken, the apologies said, both the vampires began to talk. They were catching up on the last few years.

Willow came in quietly. She heard them talking...heard them laughing. She smiled. She left the room and went upstairs. They needed some time alone. She had done well. They were going to get back together. She should be thrilled. Her plan had worked. Her two friends were still in love...would finally be together again after almost one hundred years. Why wasn't she happy?

**********

"So, have you kissed him yet?" Willow asked taking a bite of her cereal.

Spike spit the blood from his mouth. "What?"

Willow smiled. "I said, have you kissed him yet?"

"Horny little thing aren't you?" Spike said, wiping up the mess he had made.

"No, but you are. Well?"

"No." Spike said rolling his eyes. He unbuttoned his shirt and threw it in the laundry. "You made me spill blood on my favorite shirt."

Willow's spoon had frozen when she had seen the bare skin. She felt hot suddenly. She looked down at her cereal trying to forget Spike and naked flesh. Her mind wouldn't let her. She kept wondering what he'd remove if she accidentally spilled her breakfast on his lap.

"It's not my fault you haven't learned your table manners yet." she said, trying to shake the images from her mind.

"I'll have you know that I am very poised." Spike said, refilling his glass. He used to make fun of Angel and his bagged blood. But, he was fast becoming addicted to the handiness of it. He still loved it fresh, just after a chase, but this wasn't too bad.

"So, when are you going to make a move? He's been here a week. You two spend all your time together making googy eyes. It's about time you locked lips."

"I do not make googy eyes. Besides, we've been with you every waking second of every day. Why the interest anyway?"

"I just want you two happy. I can leave, go stay with Buffy and Joyce. Let you two have some together."

"No. You can't leave me here with him. It's still in that getting to know you stage." Spike knelt and took her hand. "Please don't leave me."

Willow knew she could never tell him no when he begged. "Ok. I'll stay. But make with some kissage."

"Thank you Red" Spike said smiling.

"Can I be best man?" An amused voice spoke from the doorway.

Willow glanced up and almost died. Angel was standing there, his shirt unbuttoned and hanging open. She stood abruptly, knocking Spike over. She knew she was blushing. There was just too much naked flesh. She moved past Angel, avoiding his eyes in case he could see her arousal.

Angel looked at Spike and saw the surprise on his face. "Was it something I said?"

* * * * *

"Willow went to Buffy's." Spike said sullenly. He had begged and still she had left.

"It's just us?" Angel said, sitting down.

"Yes. She wants us to make with the kissage as she so delicately put it."

Angel had to smile at the annoyed tone in Spike's voice. "You don't want to make with the kissage, I take it. Should I be offended?"

Spike looked at him and smiled. "Now, I never said that Peaches. I'm just worried about Red. She's acting rather funny."

"I've noticed. This morning for instance. She wouldn't look at me. Do you think she's becoming uncomfortable with our relationship?"

"No. She's the one playing matchmaker. She wants us together. Says it makes her happy when her friends are happy."

"She doesn't seem that happy" Angel said softly.

"No, she doesn't. Well, maybe if I can tell her that we progressed to that next step, she'll know her work is going well."

"Is that a hint?" Angel asked, leaning forward and capturing Spike in a deep kiss. Their tongues met....hands caressed faces....Spike pulled back and nipped at Angel's bottom lip. He licked the small trickle of blood.

Angel felt his cock harden while kissing Spike. His eyes darkened with lust as Spike teased him with his tongue. He grabbed Spike's head and pulled him in closer. Their mouths joined again.

Willow stood watching, her heart beating so loudly that she was surprised they didn't hear it. She had never seen anything so erotic in her short life. They were beautiful together. She had meant to stay gone longer, but Buffy had been on a date, as had Xander and Anya. So, she'd had to come back. She saw Angel's hand run down Spike's chest to his erection. Her eyes widened as she turned and ran the stairs. There were some things that were too private for her to watch.

Angel stopped when he heard a door slam. He pulled away and glanced at Spike.

"Willow's home."

Spike ran his hand through his short blond hair. "I heard. Guess she's giving us time alone."

"Yeah...." Angel said frowning. Shaking his head, he sat back. "Well, I'd say that the chemistry is still there."

"Really? I was just going to say that it was taking all my control not to fuck you right here on the couch." Spike said grinning as he stood. "I'm going to check on Willow. Make yourself comfortable."

Angel laughed softly as he watched Spike go up the stairs. Trust his childe to get the last word.

* * * * *

Spike heard Angel come up behind him. He turned and smiled. "She's in the shower I guess. The door is locked and I hear the water running."

Angel looked at him. He ran his hand down the side of his face, his eyes darkening with desire. "It's been long enough Will."

"That it has" Spike said capturing Angel's mouth with his.

Their tongues duelled as Angel moved them to his room. They came apart to go inside, shutting the door. Both looked at each other as they removed their clothes. Spike saw the pre-cum glistening on Angel's hard cock. He had to taste him again. He knelt, taking his sire in his mouth. He felt Angel's hands on his head. He moved his head along the length, running his tongue over it. He loved Angel's taste. It had been so long. Too long. He heard Angel growl as he came. Spike made sure to lick every drop. He didn't want to waste any.

Angel pulled Spike up, his tongue tasting his own flavor. He pushed Spike onto the bed and straddled his childe. He began to lick and bite and kiss Spike from his neck down his body. He spent time biting sucking his nipples. He remembered how responsive Spike was. He heard his childe moaning loudly as he caught his cock in his mouth. Spike thrust up, eager for the wetness of Angel's mouth. He closed his eyes, enjoying the pleasure that Angel was giving him. Too soon, he felt himself cum.

Angel moved up the bed, his mouth joining once again with Spike's. Spike smiled at him.

"We need to do that more often."

"Nothing stopping us anymore" Angel said, staring at Spike with love. He reached down and pulled the blanket up from the bottom of the bed. He laid his head beside Spike's and they soon drifted off to sleep.

Willow laid her head on her pillow, trying to forget the sounds that she had heard coming from Angel's room. She had chosen the room next door due to its wide space. Now, she wished that she had chosen one on the other side of the house. She had done it. Little Miss Matchmaker had brought them back together. She blinked away tears wondering where that left her.

* * * * *

Spike smiled at Willow as he walked into the kitchen.

"Good morning sunshine" he said, sitting down.

"Is it?" Willow said.

"Uh oh. Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning." Spike said, still smiling.

"It's early." Willow said, knowing she was being stupid.

"I followed your orders. Major kissage last night." Spike said, snagging a cocoa puff from her bowl.

"That's good." Willow said, meaning it. She did want them to be happy. She just didn't want to be left out. Now that they were back officially as a couple, she was alone again. She had been used to it before but the last few months had spoiled her. She knew that she would hate it.

"It was" Spike said, waggling his eyebrows.

Willow rolled her eyes. "Well, you seemed to enjoy yourself. I do hope next time you meet in your room."

Spike suddenly remembered that her room was next to Angel's. "Uh...did we keep you up?" he asked regretfully.

"No. I turned on my earphones and listened to some country music."

"Good lord. Country music?" Angel said as he walked barefoot into the kitchen. He kissed Spike on his way to the sink.

Willow looked back at her cereal. They obviously believed in PDAs. Just her luck. Not only were they loud but demonstrative too. She sighed and continued eating.

"What was with the sappy music luv?" Spike asked, accepting a mug of blood from Angel.

Angel sat down and looked at Willow, waiting for her answer.

Willow shrugged. "I didn't feel like changing the station. Too much energy to reach over and flip the dial."

"Ok." Spike said slowly, wondering what was wrong with her. She hadn't smiled once since he had come into the kitchen. "So, what are we doing this fine December day?"

Willow looked up surprised. "We? I assumed that you two would want to..well, do your own thing."

"Well, you know what they say about assuming. You make an ass out of you and me. Did you really think we'd forget you pet?" Spike asked, his eyes hurt.

"I didn't know." Willow said truthfully.

"Wills, you're part of this weird little family whether you like it or not" Angel said smiling. "As long as you live in this house, you have to put up with us. So, what shall we do today?"

Willow smiled at them. "I don't care. I'll leave it up to you two." She took her bowl to the sink still smiling. She didn't notice Spike and Angel glance at each other and share a smile.

Spike couldn't believe that she had really thought they'd ignore her after all she had done to get them together. She was their friend. Her doubts explained why she had been acting so strangely. He was glad to have an answer to that question. He had been worried that there was something seriously upsetting her. Now, he knew she was feeling left out. He'd have to talk to Angel about being sure to include her. He never wanted her to feel alone like she had before he'd moved in.

"Why don't you run that cute little tush over to Blockbuster and rent us some new flicks to watch. Peaches here never watches TV, so it is our duty to catch him up to date on all that he has missed." Spike said.

Willow nodded. "Ok. I'll get some popcorn too. I'll be sure to get you your own bag so you don't steal mine, again." She said smiling as she went for her purse.

Angel leaned over and shared a kiss with Spike. "How long will she be gone?"

"Long enough." Spike said, running his hand over Angel's cock. They separated when they heard Willow come back in.

"I'll be back soon." Willow said as she left.

* * * * *

"Willow?" Spike called out from his place on the sofa. He didn't hear anything. He looked at Angel. "Do you think she can't hear me?"

"I think the people next door can hear you. Why shouldn't she?"

"She's not answering." Spike said, scowling. He stood up and went to the stairs. "Willow!"

Angel watched him and had to smile. They had been together for a week. It had been remarkable. They had been rediscovering each other with each passing day. He turned his attention back to the tv. Spike and Willow had corrupted him. He was becoming addicted to videos. The clerks at Blockbuster were already learning his name.

Spike called to Willow again. They were waiting to start the movie until she joined them. Every night they did the same thing. He and Angel went to the video store. He usually fed along the way. They would then meet Willow for movie night. He was thrilled that she was on vacation now. She had three weeks with no early mornings and no leaving for class. They were all falling into a nice routine. It felt almost like a family. He loved it. He knew something was still bothering her. She just acted a bit strange. He wrote it up to hormones. It was near her time of the month, after all.

He scowled when she still didn't answer. He heard music and looked at Angel, "Turn that movie off."

"What?" Angel said.

"I hear the previews starting. Wait. I'll go get her." Spike took the stairs two at a time. He knocked on her door and called her name. "Willow. Open up."

He received no answer. He opened the door, surprised to see it unlocked. He looked inside, careful not to go in to her room. "Will?"

He saw clothes littering the bed. Several things appeared to have been looked at then discarded. Frowning, he closed the door and went back downstairs.

"Where's Red?" Angel asked, his finger on the remote control.

Spike sat down and reached for the popcorn. "Seems she went out."

"Really? She didn't mention anything to me."

"Me either" Spike said, his expression angry.

"She's probably visiting Buffy or that moron." Angel said hitting play on the vcr.

"She didn't tell me she wouldn't be here." Spike said quietly.

"I'm sure she's fine." Angel said, a bit worried himself. It wasn't like Willow to go out and not tell them. Of course, the last week or so she hadn't been acting very Willow-like. She was with them all the time. She'd probably decided she needed a break.

"I'll talk to her later." Spike said, chewing the popcorn. It didn't taste nearly as good as it did when he stole it from Red.

* * * * *

Willow looked around the bar and frowned. Why was she here? She knew the answer to that. It was much better than being with the men that she had stupidly fallen in love with. There. She'd admitted it to herself. She loved Spike and Angel. She had fallen for them when she had read those damn letters. They had been so sweet....so romantic.

They had become her best friends. Hell, they were involved themselves. What was she supposed to do? She would never tell them. Their friendship meant so much to her. She never wanted to jeopardize that. It was getting harder to be with them and act like nothing was wrong though. Each day she fell a bit more. Only she would be dumb enough to fall in love with her two gay best friends. It sounded like the plot of some cheezy movie. Maybe she could confront them on Jerry Springer or something. She frowned. That wouldn't work. Neither of them would appear on camera. Too many questions would be asked.

"What's a pretty thing like you doing looking so unhappy?"

Willow looked into brown eyes. Angel's eyes were much prettier. "Did I ask you to sit?"

"Well now, I didn't see anyone else here little lady."

Willow rolled her eyes. "I live with two men. Two gorgeous, big, mean, violent men that hate it when I talk to strangers. So, why don't you run along back to whatever rock you crawled out from under and leave me in peace."

"You lying bitch." The man stood and left.

Willow sighed. Why were jerks like that interested in her when she couldn't get the men she wanted to even think of her as a woman? He had even known that she was lying. They didn't want her. They'd made that perfectly clear.

"Hey Will." Buffy said sitting down. "Man, the line for the bathroom was long."

"You didn't miss anything" Willow said, glancing at her friend. "Why am I here?"

"Because, I never see you anymore. You always have things to do with Spike and Angel. How are Sunnydale's latest love birds?"

"Peachy" Willow said, making a face.

"What's wrong?" Buffy asked, seeing the look on Willow's face.

"I'm thirsty." Willow said, motioning to a waitress.

Two hours and three drinks later

Willow laughed as Buffy looked at her worriedly.

"Can you believe I caught them making out in the library? They looked guilty, like I was their mother or something."

"I think you've had enough to drink Will." Buffy said, rolling her eyes at yet another Spike Angel story. She was beginning to think her friend was crazy to live with them. "If it bothers you so much, why are you still there?"

"Cause I love them" Willow said matter of factly. She took another drink from her glass. "What is this stuff again?"

"You love them?" Buffy said quietly. She suddenly understood. She had thought that Willow had a crush on Spike but had never been able to get any proof. Well, she had it now. Poor Willow. Maybe she did another drink.

* * * * *

One hour later

"Come on. I'll drive you home." Buffy said, helping Willow stand.

"Nah, I can walk. Sides, I might get lucky and stake me a vampire." Willow said smiling, her eyes bright.

"I borrowed Mom's car. You're riding with me. There is no way I'm letting you loose on the streets. I can't believe you kept drinking."

"I feel great. Things are a bit fuzzy but its cool. Am I drunk?"

"I'd wager a guess that you are."

"Wow. I've never been drunk before. How did I get drunk? I'm only nineteen."

"Trust you to be logical even while inebriated" Buffy said dryly fastening Willow's seatbelt.

"Spike told me that alcohol is bad for me. That I should never drink. I might end up in some weird guy's bed and not remember who he was or how I got there. You won't let some weird guy take me will you?"

"No" Buffy said smiling at her rambling. She had to admit that it was the first real smile she had seen on Willow's face in a week.

"Good." Willow said before closing her eyes. She started to sing loudly along with the radio as Buffy drove quickly to the mansion.

* * * * *

"What the hell is that?" Angel said, pausing the movie.

"It sounds like Willow" Spike said, standing and moving to the door.

He opened the door and saw Buffy trying to get Willow inside.

She looked at him, having to admit that he did have a nice chest, then she scowled. He had hurt her friend. He should die. "Help me get her inside."

"Twinkle twinkle little star....shiny happy people dancing..." Willow sang as she moved in circles staring at the stars.

"She's drunk" Angel said surveying the situation.

"No shit" Buffy said, wondering at that moment why she had ever loved him.

"You stupid bitch. You let her have alcohol? She's only nineteen" Spike said, angry at the slayer. He moved forward. "Pet, why don't we go inside and get you some coffee."

Buffy fought a smile at Spike's tone. He did care about Willow. She looked at him and then glanced at Angel. Angel was moving, trying to help get Willow inside. His eyes were concerned. Buffy wondered just how unrequited her friend's love really was.

"I'm sure you boys can handle things here. I've got to patrol before heading home. When Willow wakes up tomorrow, remind her that I told her to stop after number three."

"She had more than three?" Spike demanded.

Willow noticed them, and stopped her spinning. "Hiya. How did you get here? Spike, where's your shirt?"

Buffy took advantage of the interruption and left.

"You know that you should wear a shirt outside. You might catch cold. I won't cause seeing you like that makes me hot...No Willow. Bad thoughts....he's Angel's. I'm drunk. That's what Buffy told me. But don't worry. She wouldn't let me go with that strange guy."

"What strange guy? I'm going to kill that bitch." Spike said, his mind racing at what Willow had said. He made her hot?

"Willow, why don't you come inside."

"Angel! I didn't see you." Willow walked towards him unsteadily. "Dance with me?"

"Sure Will. Inside. ok?"

"My sweet Angel. Your eyes are much nicer than his."

"His?" Angel said, surprised by the lust he saw in her green eyes.

"He was mean to me. Called me a lying bitch." Willow said, pouting. She began to walk up the stairs. "Course, he was right. You two aren't mine. Only when I dream. Sleep now."

Angel and Spike exchanged similar glances. Spike moved up the stairs and into the house in time to see Willow pulling her shirt off, or attempting to.

"Damn buttons. Who ever invented buttons should be shot. They should use velcro. That way we could just rip everything off." She got the shirt off and threw it on the floor. She pushed her skirt down and took her shoes off. "So sleepy. Didn't know alcohol made you sleepy."

Spike froze as he saw her half nude form. He felt his cock harden when she turned and scowled at the table she bumped into.

Angel stood beside Spike, his eyes on the same scene. "Why is she undressed?"

"Sleepy" Spike said softly. She was beautiful. Her body was slim and attractive. Her breasts weren't large, but looked like a perfect fit for his palm. He watched her cute ass as she walked into the living room. She mumbled several other things but he couldn't hear them.

"Wow" Angel said, wondering why the sight of Willow was arousing him. She was just Willow. He'd never thought of her that way before. He glanced over and saw Spike's eyes. It seemed she was having the same effect on him. He noticed the large bulge in the front of Spike's jeans.

"Yeah" Spike agreed as Willow laid on the couch. Soon, her even breathing filled the air.

Spike moved to the chair and sat down, his eyes on her sleeping form. He looked at Angel, confusion in his eyes.

"Can you get her a blanket."

"Yes" Angel smiled softly. "I sure am glad that I'm not her."

"Yeah, she's going to be rather embarrassed tomorrow" Spike said.

"And rather hung over" Angel said, spreading a blanket over her. He kissed the top of her head before moving to take the seat beside Spike.

They sat in silence for several minutes.

"I think we need to talk" Spike said, his eyes still on Willow.

"Yeah, we do" Angel agreed, his eyes on the same redhead.

* * * * *

Willow woke up and held her head. She closed her eyes. She couldn't believe she'd drunk so much. Her eyes suddenly flew open. She was on the couch. She glanced under the blanket. She was wearing her underwear and laying on the couch. She sat up and swung her legs to the floor. She grabbed her head, moaning softly. She was never going to even smell alcohol again.

Memories of the night before came to her. She hadn't told Spike that he made her hot had she? She was never going to be able to face them again. They had seen her half naked. No one had seen her that way....not even Buffy during one of their sleep overs. She was going to leave. That was the only answer. She would be mortified if she stayed. She hadn't told them that she dreamed about them. She couldn't have been that drunk.

She smelt coffee. Suddenly, a mug was put under her face. She inhaled the scent.

"Thought you might need this." Angel said softly. He smiled at the girl. She was bent over, her red hair falling in a curtain concealing her face. He saw the slight flush on her skin and knew she was embarrassed.

"Thanks" Willow mumbled taking the mug but not looking up. She sat it on the table and pulled the blanket over her shoulders. "I'd appreciate it if you never mentioned anything that I said or did last night. I was under the evil influence of alcohol. Please." the last word was whispered.

He chuckled, exchanging a glance with Spike. Willow hadn't seen the blond vampire sitting in the chair, watching over her sleeping form. Spike smiled, his eyes amused.

"Don't think so pet. Did you know that you talked in sleep?"

Willow heard Spike's voice and his words. Her head flew up, her eyes wide.

"No....please say I didn't." She begged.

"Well, now. That's for us to know and you to find out" Spike said in a teasing voice.

"Drink the coffee. Then, go take a warm shower. Your head will feel better." Angel said softly. He glanced at Spike and scolded him. "Leave the poor thing alone. She's not up to arguing with you yet."

"Yes Daddy" Spike said, winking at Angel.

Angel moved forward and kissed him quickly. "Remember, father knows best."

Willow felt her stomach begin to roll. She jumped up, holding her mouth and ran up the stairs. They heard the door slam.

"I thought you threw up before you got hung over" Spike commented, pulling away from Angel.

"Guess everyone is different. Why don't you take that coffee upstairs and put it on her dresser. She's going to need that caffeine."

"Yes dear" Spike said, avoiding Angel's swatting hand.

* * * * *

Willow looked at her face in the mirror. She used a hand to wipe the steam from its surface. She was dead. If she had actually said what she thought she had, Spike would never let her forget. Damn alcohol. Why had she gone with Buffy? She had known better. One part of her was terrified that her secret was out in the open. Another was relieved. No more hiding her silly crush. She could accept it and move on. Maybe they would leave her in peace until she could get over it.

Knowing Spike, he'd bring it up to watch her blush. He seemed to enjoy tormenting her. Well, he had plenty of ammunition now. She was going to have to be strong and ignore his taunts. It would be the only way she could survive this. She opened the bathroom and walked into her room. She noticed the coffee on the table beside her bed. She took a sip. It was warm but not too hot. She sat down and laid across the bed. She felt something under her arm and looked.

She sat up and moved against the headboard, putting a pillow behind her. She looked at the envelopes, her mind racing. What the hell was that? She recognized the handwriting. Biting her lip, she opened the first envelope. She removed the paper and read.

'Willow-What can I say that hasn't been said? You are my dearest friend. Without you, I would be stuck in LA hating every moment of my life. I would not be part of this family that makes me happier than I've ever been. With you and Spike, I have the love that I've always wanted. I wanted you to know how deeply I care for you. I can not imagine my life without you. I love you. Forever A'

Willow put the paper down and smiled. He was such a caring friend. He was worried about her. She knew that he loved her like a friend. She felt even worse about what she had said. She reached for the other envelope. She could imagine what he had written. She opened it and withdrew the paper. She was surprised to see that he had covered the page with his elegant scrawl. She began to read.

'Red-Tonight, I realized something. I couldn't find you. You had left without letting me know. That scared me. I didn't like the thought of you not being here with me...with us. I didn't understand why that bothered me until later. When you came back....you said some things that made me think. I wanted to kill the slayer for letting you get so drunk. I still want to know who the bastard was that called you a bitch. I'm planning on having him for dinner. I'm getting off the topic. I love you. I don't know when. I just know. I hate the idea of being away from you. I love Angel too. I never planned this. I don't know how you feel, but I hope it is the same. I watched you sleep tonight. I wanted to take you into my arms and hold you as you dreamt. Blimey, this is sappy. I've turned into a poof. I'm sounding worse than Peaches. He's writing his own letter you know? We both realized tonight just how much you meant to us. We're a family here. We know that it might be weird for you to accept us both. If you can't or don't feel the same way, we can understand. I really should stop writing now. Angel stopped awhile back. I'm sure he used all sorts of romantic words and poetry. I'm not that smooth or artistic. I will just say this. You often ask me why I changed...why I don't kill anymore since I don't have a soul like Angel. Well, I've realized that I do have a soul. You, Willow, are my soul. I love you pet. S'

Willow took a deep breath. He loved her? She couldn't believe it. She looked at the letters again. They both loved her? Were they playing with her? She reread them, tears in her eyes. She didn't think they'd do something that cruel. She smiled. She stood and grabbed her stationary. She needed to write them a letter.

* * * * *

Spike looked at the envelope and smiled. She hadn't said anything to them, just set the envelopes on the table, told them to read them aloud and walked back upstairs. He opened it eagerly and began reading.

'Spike- I love you, you idiot. How could you think I wouldn't? You are my best friend, my confidant. I wanted you to have Angel so that you both would be happy. That was all that I wanted. I knew that I had a crush on you but I didn't realize how deeply I felt until you actually met up with Angel. I knew then that I loved you. It hurt so much to see you with another, but I was glad that you were happy. I have always had a crush on Angel. Who wouldn't? Our friendship deepened it while he was in LA. I never intended to let either of you know. I didn't want to risk losing your friendship. I love our little family. Of course I accept you both. You are my heart. Love W'

Spike glanced up at Angel and saw his sire smiling.

Angel laughed softly as he read his letter.

'Angel-I love you too. Am I crazy for loving two men? Probably. Do I care? Not at all. I will never leave you my Angel. Can you see Buffy's face when she hears about this one? Lordy, what you two make me endure. Now, quit reading and come upstairs and ravish me before I lose my nerve. I knew Spike would read first. So impatient...So eager. Forever W'

Before Angel finished the last word, Spike was up and on his way up the stairs. Angel chuckled as he followed. His family. He smiled at the image.

* * * * *

Willow sat primly in her chair, her eyes on the door. They had to have finished reading by now. Maybe it had all been a joke. They were probably down stairs laughing at her. She sighed. They weren't coming. She closed her eyes and ran her hand over her face. She was an idiot.

Spike opened the door and stood watching Willow. She hadn't heard him. He saw Angel and put his finger to his lips motioning for him to be quiet. He moved into the room, his eyes glancing at her bed. That wouldn't do. He would have to take her to Angel's room. He felt his body tighten as he realized that soon she would be laying underneath naked, begging for release.

Willow heard the floor creak and glanced up. The sadness in her eyes disappeared, replaced by happiness. She started to speak when she saw the lust in Spike's eyes. Lust for her? She closed her mouth and gulped. It was really happening. She pinched her arm and winced. She wasn't dreaming.

Angel smiled as he watched Spike advance on Willow. He slowly followed his childe. He saw Willow's wide eyes glance at him. He could see her nervousness. They would have to remember that she was human.....be gentle.

Spike put his hand under her chin, marvelling at the heat she was giving off. He leaned down and captured her mouth with his.

Willow was drowning. She could lose herself in his kiss. She gasped when she felt his hand bringing her to her feet. He took advantage, slipping his tongue into her mouth. She leaned towards him, needing to feel him.

Spike felt a hand on his shoulder. Reluctantly, he pulled away. Angel softly caressed Willow's face, taking in her swollen lips. He coaxed her mouth open, replacing Spike. Spike watched his sire kiss Willow. He ran his hand over Willow's back, feeling the tension in her. He kissed her neck, marvelling at the steady beat of her pulse.

Angel pulled away. "Why don't we move this to my room?"

Willow nodded, her eyes glazed with passion.

* * * * *

Spike jumped on the bed, laying across it and winking at Willow.

"Lots of room here pet." he said smiling at the blush that came over her face.

"I see that" Willow said softly.

Angel came up behind her, his arms going around her waist. He moved his mouth to her ear. "Are you sure about this Will?"

She felt the heat spread her at the contact of his cool flesh. She nodded. "Yes. Please."

He kissed her ear then moved his lips down her face. He nipped at her neck, his hands moving underneath her shirt. She drew in her breath as he caressed her stomach. Spike felt left out. He stood, his eyes burning with desire. His mouth caught hers as he ran his hands behind her, bringing her forward and into him. She felt his erection against her stomach. Angel moved closer and soon she was caught between the two vampires. If Buffy could see her now......

Angel quickly unbuttoned her shirt, removing it from her shoulders. He began to kiss and bite his way across her back, his hands caressing her breasts through her lace bra. He heard her heart beat racing. Smiling, he used his teeth and unfastened her bra.

Willow felt his teeth against her skin. She moaned into Spike's mouth when she felt the bra slide down her arms. She was half nude. With two men. She felt Angel's hands on her breasts, his thumb lightly grazing her hard nipples. Well, someone once said, if you are going to sin, make it special. This was definitely special.

Spike moved his mouth down her throat and took her nipple in his mouth. He teased the erect bud, licking and nipping at it. Angel began to slide her boxer's down her slim legs. She closed her eyes when Spike knelt in front of her. She felt his cold tongue on her through her thin panties. She felt Angel stand, his hands caressing her breasts as Spike teased her. She moved her head, her mouth joining his. She leaned against him, needing to feel his body against hers.

Spike eased the panties down, wanting nothing more than to shed his clothes and bury himself in her. He was trying to take it slow. He ran his finger across her slit, finding her soaking wet. He licked her juices off of his finger, savoring her taste. She was so hot. He had to taste more.

Willow cried out when she felt his cool tongue slide against her core. She felt his hands cup her ass and bring her closer to his mouth. She felt Angel steady her. She couldn't breathe. She was feeling things that she had never felt before. It felt like her body was on fire. She began to move forward, trying to get Spike closer. When she felt his finger enter her, she bit down, biting Angel's tongue. Spike began to lick at her clit, nipping it slightly with his teeth. It was too much. She pulled away from Angel as she cried out Spike's name. He kissed her face as she had her first orgasm. Gently, he scooped her up in his arms and laid her on the bed.

Angel laid on the bed beside Willow. His hot gaze scanning her body. She felt herself flushing at the intensity of it.

"I was blind" he said softly, running hands over her flesh.

Willow knew she was blushing at that comment. She heard a noise and glanced at Spike. He was standing beside the bed, his body hard and nude. Her eyes widened when she saw him. He was outstanding. She glanced at Angel.

"You're wearing too many clothes" she pointed out.

He smiled at her. He stood, his eyes not leaving hers as he undressed. She sighed when she stared at them both. So beautiful. And they were hers. She felt a rush of pride spread through her.

Angel moved forward on the bed. He wanted to take her....to make her his. He heard a low growl come from Spike. Startled, he looked at his childe. Spike gave him a warning look.

"Mine" Spike said, his eyes yellow.

"Mine" Angel responded, his eyes burning into Spike's.

Willow frowned when she heard the growl. She saw Spike's eyes and gasped. Both men glanced at her then continued glaring at each other. She felt the tension in her and wished that one of them would hurry up and take her. Why were they staring at each other?

"Mine first" Spike insisted. He didn't mind sharing, but he wanted to claim her.

"Spike" Angel warned, his tone low and menacing.

"Mine" Spike said, a bit louder. He had to have her. He was the one that had suggested sharing her. He wanted her any way that he could have her.

"What are you two arguing about? I thought I was going to have you both?" Willow said, not believing that she was having this conversation.

"The one who takes your virginity will be the one that claims you. You will belong to him. The other will be able to have you, but he will own you, so to say." Angel said softly, glancing at her curious expression.

"Own me? I'm nineteen. I own myself."

"Vampire rules luv" Spike said, his eyes not leaving Angel's face. He didn't want to fight his lover, but he refused to back down. He had seen her first. Well, he had fallen for her first. He had to have her.

"But..."Willow started then decided there was no point. They were being stupid men. Why did they have to make it a contest? She suddenly didn't feel as into it all as she had. They had ruined the mood completely with your squabbling.

"I am your sire" Angel said softly to Spike. "By that right, what is your is mine. Take her, and she will still belong to me."

"Fine" Spike said, his features becoming human. "I get her first. She will be loyal to me."

"She's an innocent. Do you think you can be gentle with her? You aren't known for your tender loving care."

"For her, I can be." Spike said, his eyes pleading with his sire.

Angel smiled and kissed Spike. "You may claim her" he allowed.

Spike grinned and turned towards Willow. Well, where Willow had been. He glanced at Angel. "Where is she?"

They heard the door next door slam and a lock slide into place.

"Damn." they both said softly.
