Part: One
Two years later:
Spike and Angel sat in the hotel room. They were on their way to Toronto. The gang finally worried when they had not heard from Willow in over six months. Angel and Spike however, had been looking for her since she left. She hide pretty well, the only reason they found her was because a vampire that had been on the Hellmouth when Willow was there, recognized her in Toronto, he sold the info to him and Angel. They had left Sunnydale without telling the gang the new info. They knew she was hiding and they wanted to find out from what before they talked to the gang.
"Do you think she's ok?" Spike asked Angel.
"From what he said she was fine. Living pretty well, had a job and everything."
"Where?"
"He won't give me details till we meet him in Toronto, with the money."
They had grown even closer in the time that they searched for Willow. Both knew the how the other felt about the petite redhead but they had purposely avoided they conversation as of yet. Spike picked up his bag as they headed out the door; glad that they would be seeing Willow soon.
"Damn it, I can't wait to see Red."
"I know, me too."

"Hey Nick, Nat, what’s up?"
Willow asked as they walked into the morgue looking at them. She had lived in Toronto for two years now; she had become a very good witch, and could cast a spell easily. When she had came to Toronto she had cast an illusion spell and had since then added to it easily able to keep it in check for days at a time.
The spell made her appear completely human, the bad thing was she could not naturally sense vampires, but because she had become so experienced in magic she found a spell that would keep the effects of her seeming human until she dropped the wall herself, which she could put back up at any time. The spell also permitted her to hide her magical aura so no one who could see her magical aura like demons of warlocks.
She had been Nick's partner for the last year and a half. She enjoyed being a homicide detective. She knew Nick and Nat liked each other but they were very secretive she figured that was the reason why. She loved Toronto, she remembered two years ago when she made friends with Nick, Janette, and even LaCroix who seemed extremely odd yet charming. She met Nat and Tracy when she joined the force and ended up being partners with Nick.
She truly felt content she had friends, people who felt like family, a job, a home, and a life that she herself controlled. Her only regret was that she missed her friends back in Sunnydale, but she knew that she could never go back it was better this way.
"Hey Alexia. Tracy assigned us to this case. Corpse found two hours ago in a dumpster."
"Nat, cause of death?" She asked as she watched Nat uncovered the top half of the corpse.
"Well we have a women in her early twenties, 5’6”, 124 lb. Haven't had time for an autopsy yet, but my guess would be the incision across the throat, which cut the arteries, she bleed to death, but little blood was found at the seen." Nick and Nat watched as Alexia looked at the corpse.
"Think the body was moved?” She asked as she inspected the body. That’s when she saw it. “Hey, Nat look at this." She showed them two puncture holes that were well hidden by the slice across the throat.
"It appears to be fang marks, now since an animal clawing at the throat would not be that clean or get him in a dumpster for that matter. We must assume it is a person.” She watched them share a looked and immediately wondered what they were thinking. “Nick you remember those freaks we busted last year, the vampire cult, maybe I should check them out ask them some question." Willow said looking at them as she prepared to leave.
"Yeah, I'll see what Nat's autopsy pulls up and decide which direction I'm gonna go, meet back here and compare notes tomorrow evening." Nick said as he watched the girl he knew as Alexia moved toward the door.
"Ok. See you guys." Was the last thing she said before finally leaving.
Nick and Nat watched her leave before they looked at each other.
"If she only knew just how real vampires are." Nick stated loud enough for Natalie to hear.
Willow walked out of the precinct. Even though she was checking out the vampire cult she knew she had to check some other places as her mind drifted back to Sunnydale and the possibility of how real this could be. She shook her head at the naivety of her friends.
"If they only knew how real vampires are."
****************
Willow walked into the Raven she didn't ever have to wait in line anymore. The second the Bouncer seen her she was waved through, much to many others envy. She had been looking for info on the 'Jane Does' death all night, she finally decide to call it a night and go out. She made way over to LaCroix's table near the bar in the back.
LaCroix watched the redhead moving toward him. She had been in Toronto for two years, and though he truly cared for little more then his own Childers, this young girl had somehow made her way into his heart. He often thought of turning her, however Nicholas somehow knew. To this day he could not figure out how Nicholas tricked him into promising not to turn her.
She was truly the most beautiful mortal creature he had meet, that porcelain skin, fiery hair, eyes of pure jade, truly magnificent. She was dressed in her usual beautiful gothic style. Tonight she wore a pair of black snake-skin hip-huggers, a black corset style shirt that emphasized her breast, and her long black leather duster, which she removed as she came up and kissed him on the cheek before sitting next to LaCroix.
"Well, well the little Fire has come to visit me." He said as he grabbed her hand placing a gentle kiss on it.
He loved the way she smelled like roses and sandalwood and something else uniquely her. He loved her beautiful red hair, red as blood he just knew that it was red everywhere. He suddenly felt a rush of desire race through him, surprised that she was the first human in centuries to strike such a cord.
"Hello, LaCroix, how are you this evening?" She said in a slightly flirtatious voice something very common between the two..
"As of now, fine, but the night is still so young."
"So, true." She said as she grinned at him knowingly. "Nick here this evening?"
"Not yet, but he said that he had to speak to Janette tonight so he will be here."
"Sweet, where's Janette."
"Behind you Cheri." Willow turned to greet the beautiful woman before she took a seat between LaCroix and Willow.
"Alexia dear would you care for a drink?" Janette asked the slight redhead. She looked at Alexia before smiling at the girl she had become like part of their strange little family
"Sure." Willow watched as LaCroix summoned the waitress, when she came to their table he looked at Alexia expectantly.
"Bottle of Tequila, salt, sliced limes, and three shot glasses." Willow watched as LaCroix’s eyebrow rose she noticed the slight look and grin pass between him and Janette.
"My, my such a strong drink for a 'Lady'." He said grinning, mock shock on his face, which caused both Willow and Janette to laugh.
"I can deal."
"I bet you can." He smiled
Three hours later Willow had finished thee quarters the bottle and was only slightly buzzed as she danced by her self amongst the other dancers, but to keep up the human facade she has to act a bit more tipsy in front of her friends so she swayed a bit more. 'I really wish I could tell them about myself, so I wouldn’t have to keep a charade up around them all the time.' Suddenly she felt a pair of strong arms wrap around her by the grip she immediately knew he was vampire.
"Hello, pretty." He whispered in her ear as he groped he body.
"Hello." Willow said in a bored, annoyed tone.
"I've been watching you dance up here all by yourself, figured you needed some company." He moved a hand down to her stomach.
"Well thanks, but no thanks." She said as she removed his hand.
She immediately found his arms once again wrapped back around her tightly as he brought his lips up to her ear whispering into it.
"Oh, I insist, as a matter of fact your going to walk out the back door with me, and if you scream, I'll brake you neck before anyone could catch me, understand?" Willow began to make the illusion of fear roll off her, which made him smile.
"Yes." She said as she walked out with him, thinking of her plan of attack when they got out of sight.
Little to their knowledge Nick, Janette, and LaCroix witnessed what happened, all had murder written on their faces for the demon-breed vampire who had just carried their friend out the door. They all walked to the back door and opened it slowly, as they stepped out, they all stood in shock at what they witnessed.

Part: Two
LaCroix, Nick, and Janette stood right outside the back door watching the woman they knew as Alexia fight the demon breed vampire, whom had forced her out the door. She did so with amazing fighting skills. They all knew that she had some fighting skill because of coarse she was a cop. But the skill they seen before them was far beyond what she had ever shown capable of. Not to mention that she appeared very aware of what she was fighting.
Willow didn't notice her friends at the door; all her focus was on her opponent. He was mad to find that she could fight better then he thought. He had planned on holding her hostage for more money from Angel and Spike since he knew they were on their way to Toronto. He knew he had to throw her off concentration to get her to force her into a mistake. Then he thought of an idea, but he miscalculated how she would react. He would find out how wrong he was, how deadly wrong.
"Ya, know little girl I just came from Sunnydale again, you remember your little friend, that stupid moron?"
He waited till he knew she registered what he was saying. He saw the expression on her face chance from anger to nervous confusion. She stared at him expectantly.
"He tasted sooo, good." He purred licking his lips for affect.
Heat rushed through Willow's body. Pure unbridled rage that far surpassed her anguish and her hatred filled her entire being. As he saw the emotions fly across his face, he realized he had made a big mistake. Her friends had heard the vampire’s word. LaCroix had caught the Sunnydale remake 'The Hellmouth'. They watched in awe as she suddenly reacted.
The vampire howled in pain when Willow drove her stake into both of his legs. She watched as he fell to the ground. She immediately straddled him, and then grabbed him by the throat. Her eyes bore into his her rage completely reflected on her face.
"Beg, beg for you miserable life. Give me one good fucking reason of why I should let you live you bastered. Make me believe that you are worth the concept of existence."
Through her rage she slightly lost control, but immediately regained it, not before he seen her 'game face'. He stared at her in fear, and could not answer. He watched as she slammed the stake into his chest. She stayed there on the ground where his ashes lay as the tears fell down her cheeks.
"Xander, Xander, oh Goddess, Xander." She cried into her hands.
She heard Janette before she looked up to find her friends looking at her.
"Cheri, I think you have much explaining to do." Janette said.
Willow felt Nick pick her up and carry her into the club. But instead of going back into the main room she felt herself being carried upstairs, which she had never been before, finally the darkness consumed her.
***************
Willow began to open her eyes. As they adjusted she found herself lying on an antique style fainting couch.
"How ironic." She said with dry laugh.
"Yes, I thought you might appreciate it." LaCroix said as he watched Nick bring her some water. As he handed it to her he spoke.
"Are you going to tell us what's going on?" Nick asked. She looked at them all.
"You are my friends, but what I am about to tell you may change all that, though I have no right to ask you, I must ask you to swear to tell no one of what I am going to confide in you." Willow cried desperately.
"Cheri we are your friends and would not turn our back on you, what is it?" Janette asked genuine worry in her voice.
Willow seen truth in her friends eyes so she went on and told her story. As she told them she found it odd that they didn't seem disbelieving just surprised. Finally finished she waited nervously for what they might say.
"My, my such interesting things behind the face of an innocent." Said LaCroix.
After she told her story leaving out certain pieces, LaCroix decided to let her in on their past. Janette had one of the vampire waitresses bring them a few bottles of blood. When Willow drank from her glass, she was caught by surprise.
"It's human." She said with true impression.
"Yes it is, don't tell me you are like Nicholas here drinking that disgusting animal blood." Said LaCroix a look of disgust on his face.
"Mostly, unless I find someone hurting someone else, like a rapist, or mugger."
LaCroix noticed the contempt in her voice, but did not speak on it, 'I wonder what she has omitted from her little story.' He thought.
***************
Angel and Spike entered the Raven they noticed all the vampires in the room, not many were demon breed. Angel remembered meeting the Master of this city during Angelus days in Paris, then about eight years ago here in Toronto, he was not demon breed, and he was the oldest vampire Angel had ever meet. They waited for their contact, which never showed up. So Angel finally decided to try to talk to the master to see if he knew anything or would help them. He walked to the bar with Spike in toe.
"We're looking for LaCroix." Angel said to the bartender.
"Who is?" the bartender asked suspiciously sneering at the demon breed vampires before them.
"Angelus and William the Bloody, you disgraceful fledgling." Said Spike angrily.
They watched as the vampires eyes grew wide, before he picked up the phone, he briefly spoke to the person on the other end of the phone before he hung up. Walking back over to the two older vampires he spoke.
"You may go up, second door on the right."
He watched as they walked up the stairs going to meet his Master. Wondering why the newcomers were there looking for him..
***************
"LaCroix, what's up?" Asked Nick.
"I have company coming up." He said as they all heard a knock at the door. Nick answered it. Willow had not looked up at LaCroix's entering guests until she heard the voice she never thought she'd hear again.
"Red, is that you, Luv?"
