~Part: 1~
Angelus slowly woke up. A pain in the back of his head was the first
indication that something wasn’t right. The second being, that he could
hear two steady heart beats, and one frantic one that seemed to pound in
his ears. He slowly opened his eyes.
This is not his room. Not even his house. He tried to remember what
happened but the last thing he could think of was walking home. He had
promised Dru that he would have tea with her that night. Whoever was responsible
for this was going to pay dearly for making Angelus break a promise to
his little girl…
Who was right by his side? She was out cold. OK, now whoever was responsible would pay for hurting his family. A quick glance to Dru’s other side told him that Spike was here also.
But where were the beating hearts coming from? Maybe someone left them a meal, one each from the sounds of it. Angelus lifted himself up to look over Dru and Spike’s bodies and what he saw both made him smile and intrigued his curiosity further.
Willow stared back at Angelus. Her already frantic heartbeat quickened seeing that he was awake now. She had woken up, half tossed on Xander, half covered by Cordelia. Although Xander used to frequently sleep over at her house they haven’t done that since they hit puberty. And even before, Cordy was never invite due to extreme teasing on her part. Willow had snapped awake too soon for her still tired body.
After glancing around and noticing that Angelus, Spike and Drusilla were also invited to this little slumber party, Willow started to panic. She tried to wake Xander or Cordy but neither could be. She then tried to look for a way out of nicely decorated room.
She wondered if they were in the mansion. The style of the room was pretty old but gorgeous. No windows were in the room which meant the vamps would be safe. The only source of light was from a lamp on the nightstand near the bed (which the vampires were occupying). Willow noticed a light switch by the door, but didn’t dare try it in case she woke the deadly vampires. She had tried to open the door but had no luck.
Willow had noticed another door and went to investigate. It led to a bathroom. The tub was big enough for two people, maybe even three, complete with jets. She had been tempted to take a bath but thinking of the vampires sleeping like the dead in the other room she hadn’t dared. Other than the inviting bathtub, the bathroom was pretty average. There was a toilette, two sinks and a medicine cabinet (which held nothing). She found various shampoos, soaps and other hair products under the sink. There was 6 towels hung up in the bathroom, which she found odd. Was Angelus and his family leaving towels for her and her friends? What exactly was their intention?
“Well good morning little one.” Angelus smiled as he smelt the fear off her. Willow nudged Xander with her foot trying to get him to wake up. Xander just grounded and turned over in his sleep. Willow gulped, it looked like she was alone in this.
“Umm hi” She managed in a small voice, surprised at herself for even being able to talk. After she had made her exploration of the rooms, she had sat by Xander and Cordelia, watching the vampires sleep. She had wondered who would wake first. She had hoped that it would have been Xander, or even Cordy, but it looked like Angelus was the winner. Great, she was going to die.
“Mind telling me what I’m doing here?” Since he didn’t remember how he got here, he had no clue. Was this some game the slayer and her little pals had planed? Well if it was it didn’t look like a very good one. Xander and Cordy were still asleep, Buffy nowhere in sight, leaving just Willow alone with the big bad Angelus.
“You mean you don’t know?” Willow questioned, trying to figure out if he was playing games with her. She would much rather have a quick death than mind games and torture.
“No idea. Guess you don’t either?” OK so if the slayer and her slayerettes weren’t playing with him, who was?
Xander grounded in his sleep again, distracting both the vampire and the mortal. Willow tried to wake him, nudging him again and hissing “Xander?! Xander wake up.” Xander tried blindly to push her away muttering “Sleepy…. Go away…. Good dream.” He then tried to reach for the blankets but seeing as they were on the floor, there were no covers for Xander to grab.
During his struggles, Xander turned around in his sleep. Even through Xander’s semi-tight pants, Angelus could tell that Xander was indeed having a good dream. Angelus couldn’t suppress a chuckle. Willow looked at him oddly, not having the same knowledge as he did, she didn’t see humor of the situation.
“Xander Harris, get your ass up now!” Willow’s voice was loud as she was coming close to hysteria. She didn’t like the idea of being alone with the vampire, well the only one consciencious. Although she knew that Xander would freak out just as much as she had, she’d still feel better with him.
“Stop your bloody yelling. I’m not deaf.” Willow’s head shot back to the bed as Spike started waking up. This was not good. Why did she have to scream? And how come, she was able to wake up someone on the other side of the room, yet she could get the lazy ass in front of her up?
The look on Willow’s face made Angelus smile. She was scared to death. Still frantically poking at Xander, trying to wake him. He only swatted her hands away annoyed. Willow looked between Angelus, Xander and Spike, who was now awake and looking at her curiously. A hand touched her shoulder and she shrieked.
“Willow, relax. It’s just me. What’s going o-?” Cordy’s voice trailed off as she caught sigh of the vampires. “This can’t be good.”
Willow threw her arms around Cordy. Although they didn’t get along, Willow was just glad she was no longer alone. Cordelia glanced at the ground where Xander was still desperately trying to sleep, oblivious of the danger they were in. She looked back at Angelus and Spike noticing that Dru was also with them.
“Although I’ll probably regret asking, but what’s the deal?” Cordelia asked after pulling Willow off of her.
“Dunno,” Angelus shrugged. “I was walking home. The next thing I knew I woke up here.”
Cordy tried to think of the last place she had been. “I was in the library.”
“Why? There are no evils that needed research.” Willow wondered. Cordy wasn’t exactly known for being the book worm, she tried to avoid the library if possible. She didn’t like the research parties, not that anyone aside from Willow and Giles did, and Cordy wasn’t one to volunteer for extra research.
“Well since I’ve spent most of the week helping save your asses by doing demon research, I totally forgot about a project that is due this Friday. I went to the library to look for books and stuff.”
“What about Giles?” Willow wondered, a slight panic joining the already existing fear attack. If he was there with her, Willow hoped that nothing bad had happened to him.
“Hum... he was there but he left to go get us something to eat. I went back to researching but… Well I dunno what happened after that. I woke up here.” Cordy explained.
“I was sleeping.” Spike answered. Although no one had asked he thought he’d still informed them.
“So this is your room?” Cordy questioned, taking her first look around the room. She was quite impressed.
“No luv. Unless Angelus has some secrete room he didn’t tell me about, I don’t think we’re even in the mansion.”
“There is no secret room that you don’t know about Spike. What about you, little one?” Angelus asked turning the attention back on Willow.
“I was in my room. Talking to a friend online and helping him build a website.” Willow explained. “If anyone did break in I wouldn’t have heard them since I was listening to music.”
“I guess that eliminates vampires doing this.” Spike commented. He had turned his attention to Drusilla, checking her over to make sure she wasn’t hurt. Willow smiled thinking it was sweet, then stopped when she remembered he was an evil killer, that was probably going to figure out he was hungry soon.
“OK, I guess the how isn’t really that important. We should be looking at why. And who.” Cordelia said. She tried to wake Xander as well, but the boy was stubborn and didn’t give up his sleep.
“Well I think it’s obvious why you’re here,” Spike said after he was satisfied that Dru was unharmed. Spike waited until he got the full attention of the two girls before he continued “You’re here incase we get hungry.”
That was Willow was dreading. She hadn’t found any weapons, holy water or crosses. If the vampires did decide to attack, they were defenseless. Spike and Angelus shared a look, silently speaking to each other. Having apparently reached an agreement, they turned back to the humans, letting their hunger shine through their eyes.
“Now wait a minute…” Cordy tried as Angelus started their way towards them and Spike untangled himself from Dru. Cordy panicked pushing Willow in front of her. “Take her instead!”
“Cordy!” Willow looked at the vampires who were advancing her way and scrawled back to her spot against the wall. She had no way of protecting herself. She silently said goodbye to her short life. She looked Angelus straight in the eyes. She knew he could probably tell it was a lie, but she wasn’t going to show her fear. Angelus pulled her up and to him. She shut her eyes as he turned her face to reveal her neck. She waited for his bite to come. She could almost picture it in her mind. She had thought it would be sexy to held by a man like this, especially one as hott as Angel. But this wasn’t Angel and he wasn’t holding her in a love embrace. She was about to die, in the arms of a once friend. She could feel his breath on her neck, briefly wondering how that was even possible since he was dead. She closed her eyes tighter and waited.
But nothing came. She slowly opened one eyes, just in time to see Spike drop Cordelia on the floor and turn back to the bed. Willow watched Spike, too scared to look up at Angelus. Dru turned in her sleep. She moaned, the sound almost to soft for Willow to hear but she knew that Spike had probably heard it as clear as if she had talked.
When Spike reached out for her, Dru screamed and started tossing, and turning on the bed. As Spike tried to comfort her, Willow realized that Dru was having a nightmare. She screamed again, then her eyes shot open. Taking in deep, unneeded breaths, she let Spike comfort her. Angelus dropped Willow much in the same manner that Spike had dropped Cordy, and he walked over to the bed.
He sat down beside them. Dru’s face was buried in Spike’s chest, her hands gripping his arm and shirt for dear life. Angelus started petting Dru’s hair, trying to calm her. Willow could have sworn she heard something like purring coming from the blonde vampire.
“Princess, what did you see?” Angelus asked, still running his hand through her hair.
“She’s going to hurt them. Nasty Slayer will kill nearly everyone of ‘em.” Dru was still clinging to Spike, trying to get the image out of her mind.
“Who’s that luv?” Spike asked quietly, his hand was running smooth circles on her back.
“Covered in blood, she is. Swears revenge. The stars cringe, Spike. They hide.” She turned her head to the ceiling. “I can’t see them. Can you Spike?”
“The ceiling is in the way love.”
“Her anger makes her strong.” Dru wasn’t really listening to Spike, but his voice gave her comfort. She sat up looking at Angelus. “Don’t let her hurt you.”
“I won’t Princess.” He promised, smiling for reassurance.
“But you can’t stop her.” Dru shakes her head. “Only the crying one who fights with her fire will.” Never really knowing what Dru was talking about, he just agreed. Both vampires watch Dru as she looked around the room, stopping to smile at the forgotten humans, then continuing. “Why are we here daddy?”
“We haven’t figured that out yet.”
“Is it a present for being good? I’ve tried to be good.” Her eyes found the humans again.
“Are you hungry love? We were just about to eat.” Spike didn’t mind sharing his meal with his black goddess. It was actually quite romantic, in a morbid, vampire way.
“You can’t eat them Spike.” Drusilla said pouting. Spike tired to figure out why she’d be upset about that. He glanced over at them. “Good point luv. If we kill them now, we might go hungry from starvation before we can get out of here.”
“No Silly.” Dru said as she got up and started walking towards the girls who were watching in stunned silence. “They’re our new friends.”
Willow wasn’t sure if she should be thankful to Dru for temporarily saving her life, or scared for what being Dru’ friend could mean. Dru reached them and sat down in front of Willow who was still trying to hide behind her own body. Dru picked up a strand of Willow’s hair and looked at it curiously. She then turned to Cordy, scrunched up her nose and looked to be in deep thought. Suddenly her eyes feel to the still sleeping form of Xander. She reached out to touch him but Willow stopped her.
“Don’t hurt him!”
Spike who had been watching Dru’s actions closely was suddenly at her side, glaring at Willow while Dru just smiled. “It’s not fun if he’s asleep.”
“Well you try getting him up. We couldn’t do it.” Cordy commented confident that Spike couldn’t either. Spike gave his trademark smirk and Cordy wondered if she would regret the challenge.
Spike crawled over to the mortal. “Xander…” Spike said softly into the mortal’s ear. Xander unconsciously turned towards Spike. He ended up on his back. Spike put an arm on the other side of Xander’s head so he was looking down at the boy. “Xander… wake up Xander…” Spike voice was uncharacteristically soft. Willow and Cordy were mesmerized by the scene, both silently wishing that Spike would talk to them in that voice.
“Spike?” Xander said sleepily. He tried to open his eyes but they feel shut again.
“Yes, Xander… wake up…” Xander tried again, forcing his eyes to opened. He could make out the image of Spike’s face. Still not trusting it he questioned “Spike?” in the same groggy voice. Slowly his brain made the connection that Spike hovering over him was not a good sign. “Spike!” Xander tried to move out from under the vampire but found he was trapped.
Spike chuckled and moved up. Xander immediately pushed himself far away.
“There pet, he’s awake now.” Spike said wearing a self satisfied smirk.
Xander noticed Dru and Angelus, feeling even more nervous until he noticed Willow and Cordy by his side. “What the hell is going on?!”
“Good question. Unfortunately no one knows.” Cordy reverted back to her normal Queen C attitude.
“Teacher, teacher has a test. Pull out your pencils boys and girls, you’ll need your erasers for this one.” Dru said as she started twilling around the room. She spotted Miss Edith by the bed and smiled.
“Okay…” Xander studied the vampires again before looking back to his friends. “Where are we then?” Cordy was about to answer but Xander stopped her. “You don’t know that either do you?”
“Nope.” She confirmed.
“Any ways out?” Xander asked, looking at the vampires again, wondering if they would even let them out.
“Only the door, which is locked.” Willow said having already checked. Angelus got up and went to try the door. He tried pushing and pulling with his vampire strength but it didn’t work either.
“Great… So, does anyone have a plan?” Xander asked looking between his new roommates. Looking around the room he saw that it was a pretty nice place. If he was going to be a prisoner, it would be better here than in some dirty old cell.
“We wait.” Angelus said. It wasn’t like they had any other choice.
What seemed like hours had passed by. Willow wasn’t too sure exactly how long it had been since no one was wearing a watch. She couldn’t even tell if it was night or day. She was leaning towards night seeing as Xander and Cordy had been yawning for the past half hour. Personally she was too freaked out to even think about sleep. And she was hungry, starved was more like it. Where were the kidnappers? They should be kind enough to feed their prisoners. After all, they couldn’t be used as some kind of ransom if they were dead. Unless they aren’t here for ransom purposes. Cordelia was the only one that came from an extremely rich family and would be worth kidnapping.
“I think I’m going to die if I don’t get some food soon.” Xander complained.
“Well I don’t know how long it’ll be ‘till we get fed.” Willow said back to him.
“Sire, remind me why we aren’t feeding right now.” Spike eyed the humans that were still in the corner of the room. He had been very patient, a lot more than he had been in a long time. But he was hungry now. He wanted to kill something.
“Spike, No!” Drusilla said on alert.
“But pet, We’re all hungry. Can’t we just have one?” Spike asked. He didn’t want to upset his princess, but they were all hungry. Dru needed to eat too even if she didn’t want to kill the humans in the room.
“They’ll be more fun if they’re alive. Go to sleep love. You won’t feel it.” Dru said as she patted the side of the bed. Spike moved over to her and wrapped his arms around her. “Daddy, come. We should all rest now. When we awake, it’ll be better.” She spoke as if she knew something the others didn’t.
Angelus glanced at the bed. He had spent the last 15 minutes watching the humans. Thinking up every possible way he could kill them. He wanted nothing more than to just kill them. But Drusilla saw something and he had learned to trust her vision no matter how crazy they sound.
And so sleep sounded good. He couldn’t kill them if he was asleep. Sure he’d dream about it but wouldn’t actually do it. As he started for the bed, he pulled his shirt over his head. He heard the gasps from the other side of the room turned to smile at the humans. Teasing them, he reached for the zipper of his pants.
“W-w-what are y-y-you doing?” Willow staggered, wide eyed. Cordy hit her arm and gave Willow a glare that said “shut up”.
“Did I forget to mention that I sleep in the nude?” Angelus asked innocently. “My whole family does actually…” Willow, Cordy and Xander at once turned their attention to the bed. The found an already half naked Spike helping Drusilla pull her dress over her head. More gasps followed and Angelus smirked.
“P-p-perhaps you guys could make an exception during our stay here?” Willow asked hopefully. She was dying of embarrassment. Her cheeks were blushed as she eyed the vampires before her. She tried to look away but found it most difficult.
“I think we’re already making quite a few exceptions.” Angelus said. Deciding to take pity and frustrate Willow at the same time, Angelus hit the light switch covering the room in darkness. Although Willow couldn’t see, she heard the sound of pants coming off and falling to the floor, followed by the creak of someone getting on the bed. For a few minutes the only sound that was heard was the heavy breathing of the humans.
“Can you pass some blankets and pillows our way?” Cordy asked breaking the silence. If she was going to be forced to sleep on a floor, at least she it could be somewhat comfortable.
“Aww shucks. No can do. We’re using them at the moment.” Angelus voice came from the darkness.
“That’s a load of bull. I saw 6 pillows covering the bed and you guys are vampires. You don’t need blankets.” Cordy said.
“Sure we do. My feet get cold.” Spike voice answered her back.
“Well maybe you should keep your socks on.” Xander’s voice joined in. He was tired and hungry. Both symptoms blocking out the logical thoughts of “don’t piss of the vampires.” A slight growl was heard then on oomph as a pillow hit Xander in the head. Just as he was recovering from the first shot a second then third hit him. “Thanks.” He grumbled, handing one to Willow and one to Cordy.
“And our blankets?” Cordy asked expectantly.
“Come here and get them.” Angelus challenged. No one moved for awhile. Just as Willow was about to start the begging, she felt Cordy move from the side of her. She tried to stop her but Cordy slipped past. Willow and Xander could barley make out the outline of Cordy, as she bravely walked to the bed. There was a shirk, followed by Willow and Xander’s concerned cries to her. Cordy made her way back to the other side of the room. She silently past the comforter to Willow and Xander then moved to her side of the floor. Without saying a word she laid down to sleep.
“Maybe one of us should watch guard. You know, make sure the vampires don’t attack us.” Willow whispered to the others.
“Fine but one of you do it.” Cordy answered back. She was half asleep and couldn’t really be bother.
“Xander?” Willow whispered. When she got no answer, she knew that he was already asleep. “Fine, I’ll do it. Not like I was going to be able to sleep anyway.” Willow said to herself. However, a few minutes later she joined the others in sleep.
~Part: 2~
Willow woke to the smell of food. Humm… Mom made pancakes for breakfast…
she vaguely remembered her dream from last night. She smiled to herself
in her sleep. “Humm…” Willow said sleepily. She slowly opened her eyes.
She saw Xander chowing down on some pancakes. What is Xander doing in my
room. And why is he eating my pancakes?
“My pancakes,” She said sitting up and reaching for Xander’s food.
If she hadn’t still been half asleep she would have realized that that
was a big no-no with Xander.
“Mine! Get you own!” Xander whined and turned his back to Willow in order to protect his pancakes.
“But Xander I’m hungry. I feel like I haven’t eaten in 5 weeks!” Willow looked around her room to see if there were any more pancakes… Only, this wasn’t her room. “Holy fucking shit!” She was fully awake now.
Xander stopped, fork full of pancake halfway to his mouth, to stare at his best friend. Wide-eyed, he stared at her in shock. Did Willow just swear? His Willow never swore. Not real swears anyway.
She was watching the vampires who were watching her with a hint of amusement. “Such language, little one.” Angelus teased.
Willow blushed and reached for the tray of food that was left for her. Cordy handed her some syrup. It appeared that during the night, their captors, the captors that Willow did not just dream up, had come in and left food for everyone. They left a homemade breakfast, there was a fruit basket on the night stand and a mini fridge that hadn’t been there before, filled with blood bags right beside it. The table on the far side was covered in bread, chocolates, soft drinks and juices. Although there was also a microwave that had been put in for the vampires’ blood, there wasn’t any human food that they could use the microwave for. It looked like they might be having bread and butter for supper but at least it was better than starving. And the vamps were supplied with enough blood to last them the night so hopefully they wouldn’t attack.
They ate her breakfast in silence. Willow watch as Angelus torn into the blood bag. It wasn’t as repulsive as she would have thought it would be. Besides, it was better than watching him tear into human flesh. Spike complained the whole time, muttering something like “stupid micro-waved blood. Got the bloody humans standing right over there.” Dru just laughed and commented on the funny taste.
“So what’s the plan for today?” Cordy asked as soon as she was finished her meal.
Willow internally groaned. She had wanted to stay invisible to the vampires as long as possible. She didn’t want Cordy giving them an opportunity to say what they wanted to do next.
“Well…” Angelus gave her a suggestive leer.
“Oh grose! I meant, since the “wait and see what our captors do” plan has sailed, what’s plan B?” Cordy questioned.
“I don’t think we have one.” Xander said. He examined his plate for extra pancake or syrup but finding that he had licked it all clean, he sighed and turned his attention to Willow’s plate. Having suddenly lost the appetite that was roaring only a few minutes ago, she handed her leftovers to Xander who chowed down. He was in pancake heaven.
“Great we’re stuck here for another day with you lot.” Spike commented.
“The day will be filled with excitement. Little girls screams will bring us together.” She turned her gaze to Cordy then Willow. Willow wasn’t sure what it meant but it didn’t sound good for her. Girls screams, were they planning on torturing Cordy and her. Family fun time?
“I don’t want screams. I happy with my non-screamy self.” Cordy said to the insane vampire.
“Me too.” Willow agreed. She was paler than usual.
Drusilla got up off the bed and started heading in the girl’s direction. She started humming to herself as she walked closer. Willow thought that this was it. She was about to die. She had been expecting this ever since the moment she woke up in this room. It wasn’t fair, she was so young! Dru almost reached the spot where Willow was sitting. Cordy stiffen as Dru drew nearer. Any second now she would make good on her promise of girls screaming. She was close enough now to reach over and snap Willow neck.
But she just kept walking. She passed the girls and made her way to the bathroom. Willow would have laughed hysterically, but the thought that this could be just another game made her keep it in.
“Want some company love? Get all those hard to reach spots?” Spike offered.
“No Spike, you don’t want to miss all the fun.” Dru answered.
“Uh love, the fun would be in there with you.” Spike pointed out.
Dru giggled. “Not that kind of fun. But that will come later.”
Spike shrugged. Dru promised he would have his way later and that was good enough for him. He watched was Dru closed the door. He waited until he heard the water running before he brought his attention back to the occupants of the room.
Xander was rummaging through the food to see what the captors had left for them. The cheerleader was doing her best to look bored and not the least bit frightened. And Red looked as if she was about to have a breakdown. Spike smiled at that. If Dru didn’t want them to kill the humans at least they could play with them.
“This is all your fault Xander!” Cordy said suddenly. She had broken the almost calm silence that had come over the room.
“My fault?!” Xander looked at her in disbelief. “How is this my fault?”
“Well if I hadn’t been hanging around you and your band of freaks so much lately, I wouldn’t have been kidnapped!” Cordy stated.
“Well no one asks for you to hang around us!” Xander shot back. He was on his feet at once and Cordy followed suite. Angelus and Spike watched them, amused.
“Oh please, you guys need my help and you know it!” Cordy yelled.
“Oh, I’m sorry. You were helping? I thought you were just sitting on your ass this whole time. I can see how that’s really helpful now though!” Xander argued.
“Well at least I don’t cause more problems for Buffy and keep needing to be rescued!” She took a step towards him.
“Oh I seem to recall several times where Buffy saved your ass, not that she should have!” He took a step closer to her as well.
“At least I’d be missed if I died. No one would notice if you were gone, except your loser friends.” She took an angry step towards him again.
“At least I have true friends that’ll miss me. Harmony would probably celebrate and take your place as uber bitch. Everyone would be glade that you’re gone… Well except the football team I guess, they’d be out one whore.”
By now Xander and Cordy were inches apart. Willow was getting worried. She had notice them fighting a lot more recently, but now wasn’t the time.
“Uh guys. I don’t think that you should-” Willow tried but was interrupted.
“Jackass!”
“Bitch!”
“Bastard!”
“Skank!”
“Loser!”
“Cock suck-”
Xander’s insult was abruptly stopped as his and Cordy’s mouths collided. The kiss was passionate and fierce, just like the ones before it. If it hadn’t been for the surprise gasp, it would have lasted longer.
“Willow…” Xander started in attempt to explain.
“We have to stop doing that.” Cordy said angry with herself.
“Meaning it’s happened before?” Willow asked. She was trying her hardest not to cry. She wanted to run away, but the only other place to go was the bathroom and Drusilla was currently occupying it.
“I was going to tell you.” Xander started.
“Gee. What stopped you? Could it be shame?” Willow asks cruelly.
“All right, let’s overreact, shall we?” Xander knew she was going to take it hard but he didn’t think this hardly.
“It’s Cordelia!” Willow points her finger at the girl in disgust. “Remember the ‘We hate Cordelia Club, which you are the treasurer.”
“The WHAT?” Cordy interrupts, looking at Xander. Xander looked helplessly between the two girls.
“Willow, we were just kissing it doesn’t mean that much.” He watch as Willow paced the room. He could tell she wanted to leave but there was no place for her to go.
“No. It just means that you’d rather be with someone you hate than be with me.” Willow tried to stop the tears that came. She didn’t want to cry in front of the others but she couldn’t stop it. Xander tried to go and comfort her but she backed away.
“Willow please. It’s not like that.” He looked at her pleadingly.
“Then what’s it like Xander? Cause it sure as hell looks that way to me. You know I love you. You must! You might be a little slow at times, but you’re not a moron Xander. You can’t tell me you didn’t see it.” Willow wanted to die. It was all too much. She was pretty sure that if she asked the vampires, they wouldn’t mind putting her out of her misery.
“OK, maybe I did see it. But what was I supposed to do? I’m not good with words or confrontations-”
“You managed fine with Cordy.” Willow pointed out.
“-I couldn’t tell you how I really felt.” Xander finished.
“How do you really feel, Xander? It’s obvious that you don’t love me, not in that way. Am I not attractive enough? I might not have the supermodel body, perfect breast, long legs and all the right curves. But I do have the smarts. Brains will last longer than beauty Xander! Doesn’t that matter to you at all?!” Willow voice was high with a note of hysteria.
“Of course it matters Will. I love that you’re smart. Obviously not as smart as I thought you were since you can’t tell how beautiful you really are. So, you don’t wear the skanky clothes, I have a pretty good idea what’s underneath it all, and leaving some to the imagination is a good thing.” Xander would have hated it if his best friend started dressing like a ho. He’d have to protect her from all the ogling horny teens, which would be a full time job, considering he knew for a fact, what a great body she had.
“Don’t lie to me Xander. I know I’m ugly. I’m not blind!”
“Willow! You’re beautiful! You’re cute, you’re hot, you’re what every guy wants. You the thing that wet dreams are made of and I should know!” Xander reddened at this admission but he continued without skipping a beat. “Any guys would be lucky to have you. Just one taste and they know what heaven was like. I’m sorry that you don’t believe it, believe me, but it’s true.”
“Then why won’t you? If I’m so great, then why don’t you love me?” Her voice was desperate. The words from Xander’s mouth made her feel both better and worst at the same time. If this is how he truly saw her then why was he with Cordelia? Was she just a better piece of that heaven?
“Because I was afraid! I know that sounds like a copout, but Willow, I couldn’t bear to lose you. In all my life, there was only two people who knew me so completely. Only two people in all the world I felt I could trust. You and Jesse. You guys know all my dark secrets, everything that I’d never tell another soul as long as I live. Buffy is great, but there are some things that I’ll never tell her.” Xander looked at Willow, pleading with her to understand. “When I lost Jesse- God! It’s my fault he’s gone- I died with him that night. I was a wreck for months, I still am. It felt like my world was gone. All I had left to hold onto was you and some “mission” to help Buffy as an attempt to make Jesse’s death worth something. Willow, I couldn’t ask you out. The moron that I am, I would have screwed it up. And I can’t lose you too.”
Willow watched Xander. She had split emotions about the situation. On one hand she wanted to yelled at him. Love and life was all about taking chances. If he was ever going to be happy, he would have to take chances, rely on fate a little. She had more confidence in Xander than he did in himself. She didn’t think that he would screw up their relationship, she wasn’t even sure if that was even possible anymore. Who was better to love than your best friend?
On the other hand, she knew exactly what he was saying. She knew the secret pain he went through when Jesse died. Xander dealt with that the way he always dealt with it. He hid behind jokes and smiles, pretending it was all ok. It wasn’t ok. You can’t lose your best friend since kindergarten and be ok. As close as Willow and Xander are, Jesse and Xander were closer. They had the whole guy bonding thing that Willow was never a part of.
Willow was about to answer him, when the bathroom door open.
“Spike, I’m all wet.” Dru said from the doorway. A small, playful pout was on her lips. As she emerged from the bathroom, the others all noticed that Drusilla had not put on a towel or her dress before coming back out. She was completely naked. The humans stared in shock (and happiness in Xander’s case- he knew it wouldn’t help the Willow/Cordy case but he couldn’t tear his eyes away).
“That’s what the towels are for luv.” Spike chuckled as he watched his princess stalk towards him.
“But I like it better when you clean me, and make me even wetter.” She said with the innocence of a young girl. She crawled back onto the bed where Spike was still sitting. She leaned into him when he wrapped his arms around her to pull her close to him.
Dru moaned when Spike’s tongue darted out to lick at the water droplets on her neck. The humans watched in silent fascination, as Spike made his way down her body. All of them knew that they should leave, that things were about to heat up more than they already were, but none of them could get their legs to move.
They were so caught up with watching Drusilla straddle Spike’s head, that they hadn’t heard Angelus moving until he moved into their field of vision. He joined the two on the bed. After moving Dru’s hair to the front, he started licking down Dru’s back, much in the same fashion that Spike had done. Angelus hadn’t put his shirt on this morning, so the human had gotten a good look at his half naked body all morning. From his current position on the bed, the humans could make out the tattoo on his right shoulder.
As Angelus kissed and nipped at Dru’s back, his hands went down to Spike’s zipper. Dru was trashing and moaning so much, Spike didn’t notice until Angelus had freed him only to sallow him seconds later. He pulled away long from Dru long enough to shout his surprise. Soon Angelus had him moaning and begging much in the same way Drusilla was, only Spike’s moans were muffled due to the fact that his head was between Dru’s legs.
Dru moaned as Spike’s fingers danced within her.
“Kitty’s gonna sing! Kitty’s gonna sing!” Dru half screamed half moaned. Her nails scratched at Spike’s shoulder. She broke the skin, causing the smell of blood to reach all of the vampires’ noses. Dru moaned again helplessly. Spike trailed one hand up her body slowly then offered his wrist to her.
Somehow, during the whole thing, Angelus had managed to remove his pants and was stroking himself at the same pace he was sucking. Spike bucked up as Angelus’ other hand came up to tease his ass. Above him, Spike heard Dru moan then felt her fangs piece his flesh. She drank greedily from his wrist as she orgasimed. The combination of Dru’s juices, Angelus’ fingers and mouth and Dru drinking, made Spike lose control. He turned his head slightly and tore into Dru’s leg. He bucked up to Angelus and came.
Spike felt Drusilla being pulled away from him and was about to complain before he realized it was Angelus that was pulling her away. He watched hungrily as his sire entered his princess. She moaned his name happily as he pounded into her. Spike sat up and moved closer to his sire.
Angelus leaned over to kiss his boy. He could taste Dru on Spike lips. Angelus started sucking and licking, trying to get as much Dru as he could. He knew Spike could taste himself on his lips and Angelus smiled. There was nothing like the combination of his two childer.
Dru was moaning again beneath him. They were both so close. Angelus trailed him hand down Spike’s body, happy to find him hard again. Angelus offered his wrist to Dru than turned Spike’s head so they could access each other’s necks easily. Dru bit down first and Angelus could felt her cumming around him. Spike greedily drank his sire’s blood, cumming into Angelus’ hand. Unable to hold out any longer, Angelus vamped and tore into Spike’s neck. He thrust deeply into Dru and came.
Spent for the moment, the vamps collapsed on the bed and tried to catch their breaths- metaphorically speaking. They didn’t notice the humans sneaking out of the room and into the safety of the bathroom.
