Chapter One: Consider.

"Buffy? Earth to Buffy!" Dawn called into Buffy's ear. Buffy snapped out of her Spike-related trance and payed attention to her sister.
"Yep?"
"God, what is up with you? You've been out of it since Riley and Sam left. Do you miss him?"
Yes, but not that him, Buffy answered silently. "Uh, no. I'm okay."
"Good, because Christmas is a week away and I want to know who we're inviting."
"Everyone."
"Does that include..." Dawn looked at her questioningly.
"Who?"
"Spike."
Buffy considered. She really did miss him since she'd ended things... and while she knew that them being together was wrong, she could barely sleep at night nowadays. Maybe it was because she'd gotten used to a quickie (if you called five hours that) before bedtime, or maybe it was when she did sleep all she could dream of was his heartbroken expression when she'd ended things. That look of total pain in his eyes killed her.
"BUFFY!" Dawn hit her on the arm.
"What now!?"
"Do we invite Spike or not? He'd probably like to come."
Oh god. "Spike" and "come" should not be said in the same sentence.
"Well... okay. I guess that would be okay."
"Fine. But you go and invite him in person, because otherwise he'll think I'm the only one who wants him there."
Dawn smiled and hurried upstairs before Buffy could protest.
"Okay. You're not going to have sex. You're just going to invite him for Christmas dinner. So just dress.... non-Spike-friendly."

*

Buffy walked into Spike's crypt dressed in daggy green sweats. Definetly not Spike friendly.
He was sitting in his chair, and turned around sharply when she came in.
"Hey." Buffy said quietly.
"Hi." Spike turned away. "I thought you didn't want to see me anymore." His voice was cold and Buffy fought the urge to turn around and never return.
"I wanted to invite you to Christmas dinner. I'd like it if you could be there." As much as she meant the words, they came out forced and withdrawn.
"Luv, if you don't want me there don't invite me."
"But-"
"Dawn sent you here, right? So I'd think you wanted me there? Well don't worry, okay? I-"
Buffy grabbed at him and looked him straight in the eye. "I do. I'd really like it if you could be there 'cos.... I miss you." She admitted. "Not in a sex way, well yes, I mean NO! Just you're a friend and even though I still want to... oh god."
"I'll be there, okay?"
"Thankyou." Buffy smiled at him and left.

*

"Spike, what a pleasant suprise." Xander said sarcastically as he and Anya entered with a sack of presents.
"Shut up, whe-"
"Spike! Play nice, it's Christmas." Buffy warned.
"Present time! Is it?" Dawn asked.
"Okay, fine. Since everyone is here-"
Dawn started tearing into the presents piled up for her.
"How was your honeymoon?" Buffy asked Anya and Xander.
"Great." Xander replied cuddling Anya.
"Yeah! We had sex sixtee-"
"An!" Xander jabbed her in the side.
Willow laughed, and caught Tara's eye. Tara smiled at her. Willow blushed.
When all the presents had been opened, and the dinner had been finished off, and everyone had decided to go home, Spike and Buffy were left with a sleeping Dawn.
"Help me carry her upstairs?" Buffy asked.
"Sure." Spike took Dawn's feet and Buffy held her by the underarms.
Buffy tucked Dawn in and turned to see Spike leaving. "Wait!"
He turned. "Mm?"
"Stay. Please."
"Luv, what could you possibly need me for now?" Buffy responded by throwing her arms around him and kissing him passionately.
"Well, I'm not going to complain about that, pet." Spike picked her up in his arms and carried her off to her bedroom. With a sweep of his arm, all the stuffed toys were off the bed and he lay her down. She pulled his shirt off, and unbuckled his belt quickly, still kissing him. Then she stopped, holding him back from unclasping her bra.
"Wait. You should know... I ended things because I wasn't ready to love you, but I do trust you... so much..." she kissed him. "Drink from me."
Spike stopped completely, one finger still emersed in her wet folds. "What?"
"Drink from me."
Spike was still unsure but went into vampire form, but his eyes were gentle and reassured Buffy as he lowered his fangs to her neck and tasted her sweet blood...

*
Jonathon stared at the monitor in shock. "Spike... and Buffy?"
He watched as the couple cuddled in the kitchen - both still underdressed.
"Oh my god... come here... now!" He called to Warren and Andrew. They hurried to the monitors.
"What?"
"Spike and Buffy! Together! He spent the night there!" Jonathon gasped.
"Fuck." Warren muttered. Then he noticed something on Buffy's neck. "Is that... bite marks?"
"She let him drink from her?" Andrew asked, confused.
Warren stayed silent for a while. "This is it. Jonathon! Get the spell book."
"Why?"
"Spike was Buffy's greatest enemy, until he got that chip thing and fell for her! And now she's let her guard down, we can get rid of his memory of the past four years and the chip... and tada! Evil, killing-machine Spike! He'll kill her! And then we kill him, and we've won!"
Andrew and Jonathon admired his quick-thinking. Warren glared at them. "Get the goddam book!"

*

Spike and Buffy were walking through the tunnels to the Magic Box, when Buffy grabbed Spike and pulled him up against the wall. She wrapped her legs around him.
"Mmm, mmm..." Spike hissed into her ear, just as the black energy hit him. He groaned as his memory faded into a dull white.

*

When Spike opened his eyes he had the Slayer against a wall. Fuck, he thought to himself, I finally got her. He rammed her up against it harder.
"Play rough with me, babe." The Slayer groaned.
"Fuck yes." Spike replied, throwing her against the other wall and smashing her in the face.
Buffy crumpled, feeling blood seep into her mouth. "What the hell-?"
Spike hauled her up and booted her in the stomach. "Spi-"
She looked up at his amber yellow eyes and sensed danger. She broke free and ran in the direction of the Magic Box entry.
"I love a good chase," Spike muttered, and followed.

*
Chapter Two: Temptation

Spike tackled her to the floor as they reached the back alley of the Magic Box. "Seeking refuge in here won't do you any good." He growled, lunging at her neck. Buffy screamed, fighting him off her. She ran into the shop, with Spike close at her heels. He again tackled her, but she kicked back into his crotch and got away.
"ANYA!" She screamed.
Xander popped up from behind the register. "An isn't here. What's up?"
"Spike.... somethings wrong.. really wrong..."
Xander's eyes moved to Spike who stood up quickly. "Slayer, if you think this fucking whelp is going to stop me from killing you, you're wrong."
Xander pulled Buffy away from Spike. "What's wrong with him?"
"He doesn't remember me... well, he does, but as the Slayer... he doesn't seem to love me anymore."
"Fuck to this." Spike muttered, flying at Buffy.
"XANDER! CUFFS!" Xander flew for the storage room to find ropes and cuffs.
"Got some kink in mind, luv?" Spike hit her across the face.
Buffy retaliated by whacking him equally hard around the head.
Spike fell to the floor in pain. Buffy took the cuffs from Xander and hauled Spike over to the table, cuffing him to the chair and then attatching it to the table leg.
"I'll get out of here, Slayer." Buffy beat him over the head with a book, knocking him unconcious.
"No, you won't." Xander insisted. "Who would do this?"
Buffy sighed. "Warren."
"Great. Just great." Xander rolled his eyes.
"I'm gonna track him down, and I mean it. You stay here with Spike."
"What? No! What if he breaks loose!"
"He won't, Xan. Just keep him here, kay?"
Spike started to wake, unnoticed by the other two.
He watched through blurred eyes as Buffy started to leave. "Oh, and Xander? Make sure that NO MATTER WHAT Dawn does not come in here and see him like this. My sister is smart, but she trusts Spike and won't know not to let him out."
"Okay."
Xander walked back over to the counter, while Spike thought to himself. So the Slayer had a sister.
"Interesting..."

*

"Hey all... okay, not all. Spike?" Dawn saw the vampire tied up and hurried over. "What happened?"
Spike noted the necklace reading 'Dawn' and smiled. "Um... your sister had a fit and locked me up. Be a luv and unlock Spike."
"Sure, where's the key?"
"On top of that shelf over there."
"Kay." Dawn grinned at him. "Buffy icing you out again?"
"Like you wouldn't believe." Dawn quickly unlatched him. Spike turned to her, his vampire form merging out, and he threw himself at her. Dawn screamed. Xander hurtled out of the storage room.
"SPIKE, NO!" He tackled the vampire to no avail. Spike was on top of Dawn and Xander was on top of Spike. Spike kicked out and threw Xander to the floor, unconcious. Dawn whimpered in fear.
Spike hit her across the head, knocking her out too.
"Two meals in one." He muttered happily. Then his attention turned to the dusty shelf of books in front of him. Dark Magic books.
Spike opened one. "To empower the body with supernatural strength... hell yes!" He wondered how he got it to work on him, placing his hands on the page, when suddenly white light shot into him. He stepped away, the tingling coursing through his body. He tested his strength by tapping a display shelf lightly and knocking it over.
"Spike?" He turned to see Willow staring at him. "What are you doing?"
He grabbed her by the arm, drawing a cry of pain from her. He lightened his grip. "Hello witch."
Willow stared into his amber eyes in fear. "What happened here?"
Spike pushed her up against the table. "You're powerful... I can smell it..."
"Um-" Willow tensed as he ran his hands over her body, sniffing at her.
"You're very, very powerful." He hissed. "I need you."
Willow knew something was very wrong and tried to pull away but couldn't move. "Spike-"
"Don't talk." He commanded, grabbing her hand in his and slamming it down on the page.
The magic ran through Willow like a drug, she felt lightheaded and happy with the power it gave her. "More..."
Spike flipped the page. "Strength to retaliate any enemy..." He slammed their hands down on the page again, still keeping it withing his grip.
He turned the page. "Deny the body any weaknesses..." Again he brought their hands to the page. The magic flowed through them. Willow shut her eyes and blacked as his evil consumed her. Her eyes opened to reveal a deep black, matching Spike's. He smiled at her as he continued to empower them with dark magics.
Spike's hair changed from the white-blonde to a deep black. Willow smiled in fascination as her own red hair blackened completely. "More..."
Spike wondered how far his powers could go. He stared at the forbidden bookshelf and thought of himself holding a book, and the book flew from the shelf to his hand. Willow laughed. He ripped it open and intoxicated them with more powers. Willow kissed him as the power enchanted her.

Buffy rushed back to the Magic Box with Tara close at her heels. "What happened to him?"
"I don't know, but we need to fix him before... oh my god." Buffy gasped in shock as she and Tara were met with the sight of Dark Spike and Dark Willow kissing on top of the table, surrounded by books.
Buffy and Tara were speechless.
"Slayer, so glad you could join me and Will." He got off Willow and walked towards her. "Who's this chit?" He pointed at Tara.
Buffy hit him square in the nose. Spike's head snapped back but when he came back up he grinned.
"Was that meant to hurt my Spike?" Willow's voice was thick with evil. Tara shuddered.
"Willow, what happened here?" Buffy asked.
Willow replied by hitting Buffy in the face and pressing her body up against Spike's.
Tara whispered to Buffy, "She's feeding on Dark Magic. So is he."
"Shut up, chit! Will, luv, you tend to her."
Tara backed away as Willow advanced, her eyes reading she didn't recognize her ex at all. She kicked her in the stomach, sending Tara crashing against the door. Buffy gasped and was about to tend to Tara when Spike grabbed her. His black eyes bore into Buffy's. She struggled to pull away from his grip.
"I'm not just a vampire, anymore, Slayer. I'm better than that." He hissed into her thick blonde hair.
Then he pulled away, grabbing Willow. "Let's go have some fun, luv."
"You can't leave, Spike." Buffy said triumphantly. "It's still daylight."
"Oh well." Spike and Willow giggled, and headed out to the bright light without so much as a sizzling effect on Spike.
Buffy and Tara stared after them, when a groan from Dawn distracted them.
"Buffy? Spike..."
Buffy ran over to her sister. "Oh, god, Dawnie! I'm so sorry..."
"What's wrong with him? Why did he hurt me?" Dawn burst into tears.
"Somethings wrong... something that Warren did, I think. Don't worry, I'm going to find him and make him reverse it."
"Buffy?" Tara said meekly as she tended to Xander's wounds. "What about all the dark magics Willow and Spike have?"

*

Willow lit up a black ball of fire in her hand. Spike grinned as he hurtled it into the road, causing a car to go crashing into a building. They laughed together, invisible to any surrounding mortals.
Spike lit up another fireball and hurled it at a mortal. They crumpled in pain. "Dinner, luv."
Willow grinned and shot out her hand, bringing the man to them immediately. Spike hauled him up and they made way to an alley to devour the human.

*

Tara pointed to the street on the map as Buffy drove recklessly through Sunnydale. "Take a left!"
Buffy turned, ignoring the blaring of a horn behind her.
They jumped out of the car and slammed on the front door.
"WARREN! LET ME IN!"
Inside, Warren jumped in fear. "Uh-oh. Slayer."
Jonathon and Andrew backed away from the door that was about to give way.
Buffy smashed down the door and entered, her face red. She grabbed Warren and slammed him against the wall. "What the fuck did you do to him?"
Warren let out a small splutter in reply.
"WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO TO SPIKE?" Buffy yelled, slapping him. Warren fell to the floor, staring up at her.
Jonathon ventured an answer. "We kind of... deactivated the chip and removed his memory of the past four years."
Buffy stayed silent. Tara moved forward. "We'd really like it if you could change him back, you see he's gone wacko on black magic with my girlfriend - I mean, ex-girlfriend - and is now reaking havoc on Sunnydale."
"Well, we don't know how." Warren said firmly. Buffy advanced and he quickly said, "Oh, wait. Of course we know how. What was I thinking?" he laughed nervously. Buffy hit him in the jaw.
"Do. It." To Tara, "I'm going to find them and chain them up until the spell works. You can get rid of the magics they got, right?"
"Yeah. You be careful."
Buffy left. Tara looked at the boys. "Do the spell."
"You can't make us." Andrew said quietly.
"But Buffy and possibly Spike can. Do it." Tara said quietly. They hurried into the living room, to the spell circle.

*

Buffy walked through the tunnels without success when a fledgling jumped on her. She struggled under his suprising weight and fell to the floor when she heard Spike's voice.
"Hey! The only person who kills the slayer is me, buddy." He hauled the fledgling off Buffy and staked it.
Buffy stood in her Slayer stance, ready for a fight.
"Oh, luv, all ready for a fight."
He flicked his hand up slightly, and Buffy found herself crashing into the wall.
Spike advanced, this time picking her up by the throat. Buffy kicked him in the stomach - hard. Spike fell back, Buffy crashing down on top of him. As she lay on top of him she remembered how just last night she'd been lying like this...

... "Mmm, that was good." Buffy snuggled into his chest.
"It was." Spike said, smiling down at her, his then-blue eyes glowing with love for her.
"I love how you feel when you're inside me... going in and out with that thick cock of yours... it's so great.."
Spike groaned as she started to rub his thigh, then flipped her onto her back. "Again?"
"Again." Buffy confirmed, feeling his magical tongue on her clit...

Buffy yelped as Spike flipped her onto her back, smashing her in the face. Blood clouded her vision as it seeped into her eyes. Spike licked the blood off her face.
Spike was crushing her with his weight, hitting her over and over again. He started to get up, pushing himself up, when he smelled it.
"Slayer..." He moved his hand under her skirt, feeling something that was surely not sweat.
Buffy couldn't help but whimper from his touch. But looking back up into his black eyes tortured her.
He studied her. "That turn you on, luv?"
"No!" Buffy spat at him.
He dipped two fingers into her wet folds. Buffy moaned. "I think it does."
"You're revolting." She said angrily.
Spike pulled her to her knees and unzipped his jeans. "Come on, Slayer. Suck me."
"No."
Spike lit up a white fire orb in his hand. "Do. It."

*

Spike cried out in pain as Buffy bit down with force. She kicked him in the gut repeatedly, then ran for it.
Spike called out, "WILLOW!" As he threw up blood.
Willow appeared. "What happened, babe?"
"Get her!" He screamed.

Buffy stopped suddenly as Willow appeared in front of her. "You hurt him."
"Will, please. Change back. This isn't y-"
Willow picked Buffy up and hurled her against the floor. Buffy landed with a crash. When she looked up, Spike was looking down angrily at her.
"Slayer, I don't like it when you play rough." Buffy stood and slugged him in the jaw. Spike prepared to kick her in the gut, but Buffy grabbed his foot and flipped him over. Willow grabbed Buffy's hair and yanked it back.
"DON'T." She hissed into Buffy's ear. "Don't you get it? You aren't powerful enough for us."
"I wouldn't count on it." Buffy shot back, kicking Willow hard in the shin and scurrying up the nearest ladder.

*

Buffy found herself in a back alley, face to face with Dark Willow and Dark Spike. Fear fled through her like poison.
"Spike, please." She begged him as he hauled her up and positioned his fangs at her jugular.
"Will, poor Slayer's begging." Spike laughed. Willow rubbed up against Spike.
"What's she begging for?" Buffy kicked out at them to no avail.
"Will, please. Please, don't do this!"
"BUFFY!" Tara was at the end of the alley with Warren, Jonathon and Andrew. Distracted, Spike dropped Buffy to the floor allowing her to run to the others.
"We have to get out of here." Tara insisted. "They can't reverse the spell until the dark magics are off Spike and willow."
Buffy saw that Willow and Spike were gone. "Magic Box. Now."

* Chapter Four: Fix It

Tara, Xander, Dawn and Buffy stood around the table. Warren, Jonathon and Andrew hung back. Occasionally Buffy would glare at the three of them, making them jump.
"These spells might not work. I mean, just how powerful are they?" Tara asked meekly.
"Spike," Buffy choked on his name, "is more powerful than ever. And Willow... she seems to follow whatever he says, but has her own little temper going on."
Xander growled. "What has he done to her?"
"Xan, I don't think it's all Spike's fault."
"Glad to hear you say that, luv." Spike grinned at her.
"What's with his hair?" Xander muttered.
"I heard that, whelp." Spike shot his hand out, bringing Xander into his clutch.
Xander choked as Spike crushed his throat. Then he stopped. "You're boring. At least the bitch puts up a fight." He hurled Xander against a

shelf, when Anya entered.
"I have great news! Oh my god..." She stared around the shop, then at Dark Spike and Dark Willow. "Spike, whatever have you done to your

hair?"
"Why?" He asked her menacingly.
"It looks awful." She stated bluntly, not noticing Buffy and Dawn motioning for her to shut the hell up behind Spike.
"Is that so?" Spike growled.
"I think he looks great!" Willow stepped up, grabbing Spike's ass.
"Willow, oh my god. You look like a vampire's whore!"
Willow hurled Anya across the shop. Anya screamed as she hit the table, breaking it in half. Dawn ran towards Spike.
"DAWN, NO!" Buffy cried.
"Shut up, bitch!" Spike yelled, making a flicking motion with his hand. Buffy's head snapped back with spurts of blood escaping her nose.
"Spike, please don't do this. Please, you're good! I know you are!" Dawn grabbed his hand. "Please, don't."
Everyone watched silently, waiting for Spike to move. His eyes clouded over in confusion. "You trust me."
"I do." Dawn confirmed.
Spike smirked and vamped out, lunging at her neck. Dawn let out a strangled scream as he drank from her. Buffy lunged at him furiously

and knocked Dawn out of the way. "TARA! SPELL!" She ordered.
Tara quietly started to chant, mixing the potion.
"Get her, Willow!" Spike yelled as he hit Buffy in the jaw.
"Buffy, get out of the way!" Tara cried as Willow attempted to attack her but was blocked by an invisible cell - she was trapped.
Xander ran to Anya's side. "An, are you okay?"
Buffy kicked Spike to the floor and pulled a sobbing Dawn away from him.
Tara finished chanting. The invisible cells trapping Dark Willow and Dark Spike glowed. Spike bashed on the walls, as did Willow.
Suddenly they both fell unconcious. Buffy watched Spike as his hair washed back to blonde, then turned to see regular non-veiny Willow with red hair. Jonathon quickly linked hands with Tara and ended their spell on Spike.

*

When Spike looked around the room his memory of the last day came back to him painfully. He stared up at Buffy, who was looking at him with tears in her eyes. His attention moved to Dawn who avoided his eyes, but the bruises on her face spoke for themselves.
Willow looked up at Tara who turned away and walked over to Buffy. Buffy avoided Spike's eyes as she and Tara left, supporting each other. Dawn stared up at Spike, who was speechless. He offered her his hand.
"Don't." Xander hissed, helping Dawn up instead, Anya on his other arm.
Willow and Spike stared at each other. Willow broke down in tears. Spike's own eyes welled up with the terrible memories of their killing spree. He held Willow as she sobbed into him. "I'm sorry, I'm so, so, sorry."

* Chapter Five: Apologies

Willow opened the door to find Spike there. It had been a week since the incident. "Hey." She avoided his eyes, and when she looked up she

realized he was avoiding hers.
Spike noticed the bags Willow was carrying. "Where are you going?"
"England - magic rehab centre."
"Willow, I'm so sorry, I am. I never meant to-"
"I know." She gave him a weak smile.
"Is Buffy here?"
"Upstairs. Hasn't spoken to me much."
"I wanted to apologise... make things better." Spike admitted.
"I have to go. Good luck."
"You too."
Willow hugged him awkwardly. Spike smiled back at her as she left, then nervously ascended the stairs.
He stood outside Buffy's door for what seemed like an hour, when he finally knocked.
Buffy opened the door immediately. She didn't speak, but her cold eyes bore into him.
"Hi, luv."
"Don't call me that." She hissed. Spike hung back a little.
"Buffy, I am so sorry. I am. Please, please know I didn't mean to do all those things and I-"
"What kind of excuse is that?" Buffy snapped. "Along with 'It wasn't me', that is so lame Spike!"
"I'm sorry, I am. Please, tell me what I have to do to make you realise that."
"There is nothing you can do." She started to close the door. Spike grabbed her arm.
"Please, Buffy."
"Spike, do you realise the damage you've caused? Do you know that Anya nearly lost her baby because of you? And that the Magic Box is out

of business for the next year because they have to fix it?" Buffy's eyes welled up with tears. "And that I realised that I loved you the night we

were together?"
Spike pulled her closer to him. "That doesn't have to change."
"It did change. When you ruined my life."
Buffy turned away and slammed the door in his face.
Spike slid to the floor, resting against the wall. He buried his face in his hands and started to cry.
A moment later he felt arms around him, hugging him. He looked up to see Dawn there.
"Dawn, I'm so..." He started to cry again.
She hushed him. "It's okay, I know."

*

Another week passed before Dawn took Spike to Xander and Anya's apartment. Anya opened the door, looking from Spike to Dawn, then back to Spike as he spoke quietly.
"Anya... I came to tell you I'm so, so, so sorry for what happened." Spike took a deep breath. "I'm not asking you to forgive me, but if there's anything at all I can do, then I'll do it."
Anya's expression remained cold. "Firstly, you can keep your voice down unless you want Xander to stake you. Secondly..." She sighed, stepping outside into the hall. "You can fix up the Magic Box so I can work there again."
"I will, I promise." Spike paused. "Is the baby...?"
"He's okay." Anya gave him a tiny smile. "Are you?"
"No." Spike admitted.
Anya hugged him, when they heard the door click open. Xander stared at Spike, clenching his fists. "You have a lot of nerve coming here, Spike."
"I'll go. Just please know I'm sorry." He added quietly.
Xander grabbed Anya and dragged her inside. "Go to hell."

*

Xander was on his way to the construction site when he saw Anya and Spike talking at the door of the Magic Box. He stormed over and grabbed Anya's hand. He was shocked when she grinned at him and dragged him inside.
Xander was met with a fully refurnished shop. "Spike did it all. He payed for it and everything, no stealing."
Xander looked at Spike. "You did this?"
"Yeah."
"It's... great."
Anya hurried over to the counter.
"I'll be going."
"Spike?"
Spike turned to him.
"Is Buffy speaking to you yet? I saw all the flowers." Spike had sent one bouquet of roses to Buffy's house each week for the past seven weeks.
"No. Dawn comes to see me though."
"I know you didn't mean to do what you did."
"Thanks."

*

Dawn arrived at Spike's crypt in the late afternoon. Another two weeks had passed without a word from Buffy. Spike stared at the box in her hands.
"This is from Buffy." She said slowly, handing it to him. "She told me to tell you to stop sending her stuff."
Spike put the box down. "Oh."
"I'm sorry." Dawn turned away.
"Bit? I'm leaving. I can't take this guilt anymore." Spike sighed. "I love her and it hurts to know I'm the one making her so miserable."
Dawn stared at him in shock. "Oh." Was all she could come out with.
Then she left.

Buffy was sitting on her bed, holding the last red rose from Spike. She felt more tears fall down her face as she ripped the petals apart. Although she had sent back the majority of the flowers, she had kept one card from him, reading in elegant script, "I love you. I really do."
"Buffy?" Dawn put her hand over her sister's. "You okay?"
"Why does it hurt so much?" Buffy asked in a whisper.
"You love him. And that's okay." Dawn added as she hugged Buffy.
Buffy was silent.
"He's leaving tonight." Dawn said sadly. "He said he can't live with the guilt anymore and needs to get away."
Buffy froze in shock. Then she ran for the door.
"Wait, where are you going?" Dawn cried.
"To go get Spike!" Buffy yelled back.

*

Spike opened his door and was almost knocked off his feet when Buffy jumped on him. "Buffy?" He held her as she sobbed into his shoulder.
"Don't leave, please..."
"But I thought you hated me and wanted me gone."
"No! I was just angry and hurt, but I love you!" Buffy kissed him. Spike deepened the kiss, sweeping her off her feet and carrying her inside.
She whispered as he carried her down the ladder, "Make love to me, Spike."

*

"Wow." Buffy murmered, happily sprawled back in Spike's arms. He caressed her soft skin, murmering "I love you's" into her ear.
"I love you too." Buffy confirmed, stroking his thigh gently.
"Buffy?" Spike rolled over so he was nestled between her thighs. "You know I'd never force you to do anything that you didn't want to, right?"
Buffy smiled at him. "I know. Did I hurt you when I... bit you?" She finished, blushing at the memory.
"Yeah, but I deserved it." Spike kissed her gently.
Buffy crawled out from underneath him, and turned him over. "Let me make it all better..."
Spike smiled as she went to work on him. God he loved her.
"Spike? I love you too."

THE END
