Spike walked into Buffy’s house to find her sitting on the couch looking very depressed,

“Hey Slayer, what’s wrong?”

Buffy looked up to see him and smiled brightly,

“Hey Spike.”

Spike sat down next to her,

“You look upset, anything I can do?”

Buffy remembered the first time that he had said this out on her back porch,

“Well unless you can make Willow and the rest of the gang get off my back then maybe so.”

Spike smiled at her and put his arm around her shoulders,

“All that again huh?”

Buffy nodded,

“Spike you seem to be the only one who understands that I need time, how do you do that?”

Spike shrugged,

“I have a gift.”

Buffy smiled and suddenly her face lit up,

“Lets go out, to-to a bar.”
Spike looked at her surprisingly,

“You wanna go to a bar?”

Buffy nodded and leapt to her feet,

“Please Spike, it’s just what I need.”

Spike looked at her surprisingly,

“Slayer I’ve heard how bad you get when you’re drunk.”

Buffy blushed,

“I don’t care, you’ll be there to watch me this time so I’ll be fine.”

Spike smiled slyly,

“Who said that I would be in any state to look out for you?”

Buffy laughed and playfully punched his arm,

“We’ll watch each other, you wanna go?”

Spike smiled,

“Sure luv, where did you have in mind?”

Buffy shrugged and smiled,

“Your favorite place.”

Spike laughed,

“There’s no way you’re going there, it’s no place for you.”

Buffy pouted,

“You are getting just like the others, always telling me where to go and what to do.”

Spike sighed,

“Fine slayer, just remember I told you not to.”

Buffy smiled and pulled him up,

“Let’s go.”

Spike and Buffy pulled up to a building, which had piles of motor bikes and men with long hair and tattoos sitting outside. Buffy looked at him and smiled,

“You come here?”

Spike nodded,

“Sometimes.”

They walked inside and were greeted,

“Hey Spike, long time no see, two whole days, that must be a record.”

Spike winked at her and she laughed. They walked to an empty table and sat down,

“Hey Spike, you want the usual?”

Spike smiled at her and nodded,

“Thanks Bella and my friend here will have a…”

Buffy shrugged,

“A bourbon.”

Spike smiled,

“Bella, we would like two Bourbons.”

Bella winked at Spike and she went to the counter. Buffy smiled at Spike and Spike raised his eyebrows,

“A Bourbon?’

Buffy shrugged,

“You seem to like it, not to mention the waitress.”

Spike laughed,

“Nah, she’s like that with all the men.”

Buffy laughed and Bella handed them their drinks,

“Here’s you Bourbons, enjoy.”

She walked away and left them to their drinks.

Buffy looked down at the drink and then watched Spike down his,

“Here goes.”

Buffy downed it and it tasted terrible and it left a sour taste in her mouth,

“This is disgusting, how ca you drink it?”

Spike smiled,

“I guess it’s an acquired taste.”

Buffy shrugged and Spike called Bella over,

“Two more and just keep ‘em coming.”

Bella nodded and disappeared to the bar,

“You ready for more Slayer?”

Buffy smiled,

“Hell yeah.”

After five more tots Buffy was trashed,

“You know Shpike, I really shink you are a nishe guy.”

Spike laughed through his own drunkenness,

“Shlayer, I really really love you a lot. You’re h-hot.”

Buffy smiled and stood up,

“Let’s go dance Shpike.”

Spike smiled and the two of them headed up to the dance floor, They danced perfectly in sync, swaying gracefully to the sound of the music. The danced cheek to cheek blubbering as they danced,

“Angel is-h a poof. He sucks.”

Spike laughed,

“You know, I never really loved Dru, she was a nutcase. I guess I never wanted to be alone.”

Buffy smiled at him,

“I’m always here Spike, don’t you worry.”

Spike snuffed her hair lightly,

“You smell nice, like ice cream.”

Buffy liked his ear,

“You taste like Shpike, you taste really good.”

Spike smiled and liked her neck,

“You to.”

They began to laugh and Spike swung Buffy around and Buffy shouted with glee,

“This is fun!”

Buffy started to laugh like a little girl and they began to dance again,

“Hey, no swinging.”

Said the huge bouncer who had walked over to them.

“We are not shwinging mate we are danshin’.”

The bouncer grabbed Spike and Buffy around the arms and pulled them out, with the couple shouting and fighting.

Buffy and Spike landed with a thump when they hit the sidewalk,

“Well that was not bloody nice.”

Buffy pulled herself and Spike up,

“No it wasn’t. You should never treat a lady like that.”

Spike nodded,

“Yeah, and what about the way they treated you? Not only do they throw me, a lady out, but also you, the fearless slayer.”

Buffy nodded,

“Lets go back home and we can tell Giles how mean they were.”

Spike nodded and the two walked down the street.

They walked along the street for a while looking at the empty shops when they spotted and open one,

“Shpike, lets go in.”

Spike nodded and the two of them walked in to the shop and stared at the man who sat there,

“What can I do you for?”

Spike nodded and realized where they were,

“We’re in a tattoo parlor luv.”

Buffy smiled,

“Cool, lets get a tattoo.”

Spike smiled and the man eyed them out,

“You guys want tattoos?”

Spike nodded and the two of them walked into the back to pick out their tattoos. Once they had picked them, the two sat down and had them done, each a very similar one.

Spike bent down and picked up a bottle cap,

“Did you ever think that this bottle cap could be the most precious thing in the world? Maybe this is a home for a mini person, a palace for a mini person. Maybe I could live under it.”

They had just left the tattoo parlor and were walking down the street to try to get home.

Spike put the bottle cap on his head,

“How do I look luv?’

Buffy smiled,

“You look lovely, let me try.”

Buffy took the bottle cap and put it on her head,

“Sorry luv, I think it’s too big for you.”

Buffy pouted and picked up an empty coke can,

“This can be my home, and you’re not invited in.”

Buffy smiled and the two of them began to laugh,

“Lets go to the park.”

Spike followed Buffy into the dark park and they each sat on a different side of the seesaw,

“I like the seesaw.”

Spike stated.

Buffy nodded,

“Me too, Mr. Coke can also likes it.”

Buffy placed the coke can on her lap and began to ride the seesaw with Spike,

“Mr. Bottle cap thinks that Mr. Coke can is stupid because he likes it more.”

Buffy picked up the coke can and threw it at Spike,

“Don’t be mean to Mr. Coke can.”

Buffy suddenly realized what she had done and jumped off the seesaw,

“I’m so sorry Mr. Coke can.”

Buffy turned around when she heard a loud thump, and saw Spike lying on the ground clutching his head,

“Bloody hell Slayer, be careful.”

Buffy Started to giggle,

“Shpike, you look funny.”

Spike glared at her while a smiled tugged on the side of his mouth. Buffy tried to pull him up, but he ended up pulling him down on top of him. Spike looked up at her, eyes full of love,

“Buffy, you’re weally pretty.”

Buffy looked down at him and smiled,

“I shink that you are weally pretty too, the most pretty man or vampire I have ever seen.”

Spike smiled and pushed a piece of hair from her forehead,

“I am?”

Buffy nodded and traced the outline of his face with her finger.

Spike smiled and looked down and picked up Mr. Coke Can,

“He also thinks you’re pretty.”

Spike giggled and smiled at her,

“I think Mr. Coke Can is gay. Like Willow.”

Buffy glared at him,

“Mr. Coke Can is not gay, he just likes to agree with me.”

Spike took the can from her and studied it,

“I don’t think we should call them Mr. Anything any more, lets give them names.”

Buffy smiled and looked at her coke can fondly,

“I’ll name him William.”

Spike smiled and looked at his bottle cap,

“I’ll make him a her and call her Elizabeth.”

Buffy smiled and placed a small kiss on his nose,

“She has my name and he has yours.”

Spike laughed and pulled her up,

“Lets go and introduce William and Elizabeth to your watcher and friends and stuff.”

Buffy nodded and the two walked hand in hand down the street,

“Shpike?”

“Yeah luv.”

Buffy stopped and looked at him in the eyes,

“I shink I’m gonna be shick.”

Buffy stood back and threw up all over his shoes.

Spike laughed,

“You tossed your cookies. And now I’ve got carrots and peas on my shoes.”
Spike’s stomach suddenly turned and he threw up all over Buffy’s shoes and she laughed,

“I’ve also got carrots and peas on my shoes.”

Buffy carried on walking and looked at the road which looked a yellow color from the moon,

“This reminds me of a song:

We’re off to see the Wizard, the wonderful wizard of Oz.”

Spike joined in the song and the started to skip down the road:

“We hear he is a wizardly whiz, if ever a whiz there was,

if ever or ever a whiz there was, it’s the wizard of Oz he’s one because, because, because, because, because, because, because of the wonderful things he’s done,

We’re off to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of Oz.”

By this time they were standing outside Buffy’s house, singing loudly enough for all inside to hear.

Willow, Xander, Anya, Tara, Giles and Dawn were all siting in Buffy’s living room waiting for the Slayer to return from patrolling when they heard the loud singing. They were there to confront the Slayer about her withdrawal from them and also to talk about the Wedding of Anya and Xander. But first they had to talk about how she had been off to them.

They the singing and walked out onto the porch and were astonished to see Spike and Buffy stumbling along the road singing a song from ‘The wizard of Oz’ They hopped along holding hands like a couple of children and it was a funny sight.

They both hopped up the stairs to greet the Scoobies,

“Hello all my lovely friends, how are you all tonight?”

Spike smiled stupidly at all of them,

“Hello Slayer friends. Watcher and the cute little Niblit.”

They all knew immediately that they were drunk,

“Spike, you got her drunk?”

Spike looked at them appalled,

“It wasn’t me, it was William and Elizabeth.”

Buffy nodded in agreement,

“You see this is William”

She said holding up the coke can,

“And that is Elizabeth.”

She said pointing to the bottle cap in Spike’s hand.

Spike nodded and scolded the discarded litter,

“You are very naughty getting us all drunk.”

Buffy joined the scolding,

“Apologize to the Scoobies now.”

Buffy held up the coke can to her friends and put on a gruff English accent,

“I’m sorry for getting them drunk.”

Buffy and Spike reeled back in laughter and Spike put on a squeaky girl voice,

“We are all very sorry.”

They laughed again and began to sing the wizard song again while all the Scoobies pulled them back into the house.
