Chapter Six-Finding him
Buffy awoke with a start, realizing she was in her own bed. Her friends were
surrounding her. Minus Spike.
“Buffy, are you okay?” There voices seemed to blend together, asking the same
question.
“What happened?” She asked.
“You…something happened in the Magic Box. You were screaming and thrashing on
the floor as if you were in a lot of pain. But, we couldn’t find anything wrong
with you. So, we brought you back here.” Dawn explained while brushing a piece
of stray blonde hair out of her sister’s eyes.
Surprisingly, Buffy couldn’t remember a thing about the pain. All she could
remember was Spike asking her about…loving her. Than, everything seemed to be
blank.
“I don’t remember.” She confessed. Than, “Where’s Spike?”
“He went home.” Xander answered.
“Spike?” Willow and Tara asked in usion. Remember well, the last time they heard
about Spike he seemed pretty dead.
“Yeah,” Xander said. “Spike, or a Spike look alike married to Faith, or a Faith
look alike, showed up today at the Magic Box.”
Buffy grimaced at the mention of Faith.
“…And both of them don’t seem to remember a thing.” Xander finished his thought,
as Buffy’s eyes yet again seemed to fill with unexpected tears.
Buffy suddenly got up and ran out of the room, surprising everyone. She didn’t
want to cry in front of her friends. Not again.
She just wanted everything to be normal…She just wanted to be *with* Spike.
She ran into the bathroom when she heard footsteps approaching where she was.
She didn’t want to be around anyone right now.
She sat down on the lid of the toilet and let the tears come yet again. She had
cried so much in these past few days. Especially today. And here she was, crying
once more.
“Buffy?” She heard her little sister’s voice from outside the door.
“I’ll…” She tried to stop her voice from quivering. “I’ll be out in a minute,
Dawnie.”
“Are you okay?” Dawn asked.
How many times had people asked her that simple question in the past few months?
Of course she wasn’t okay. Now, she would never be okay.
Right when she was finally accepting that she was meant to be on earth again.
Spike had to die. Than, (if it was him) come back married to Faith. So, she
would *never* be okay. The Powers that Be certainly didn’t want her to be okay.
And suddenly, she just wished she was back in heaven. Maybe Spike would of never
died if she hadn’t come back. Everything just seemed to come down to it being
her fault.
And, that’s when she realized it. She was in love with Spike. Now, only if he
could *be* around for her to tell. Or, better yet, remember for her to tell.
But, he did ask for her to tell him about being in love with her. Maybe, just
maybe, he was actually starting to remember. She had to find him.
She quickly ran out of the bathroom, not surprised to find the whole Scooby Gang
outside of the door. She took one look at them and hurried past them to her
bedroom, to get dressed.
She quickly pulled on a pair of bell bottoms and a cute shirt that had
‘Princess’ scrawled on the front. Than, she hurried past her friends to the
bathroom once again, to apply some makeup.
The tried to speak to her when she started to head down the stairs but she
didn’t respond to their questions. Of: Are you okay? Do you need anything? Or
anything else. She just had one mission: To find Spike.
And, soon enough she was out the door heading to who knows where.
She decided that the Bronze would be her first stop. She searched around the
place but, didn’t find him anywhere.
She searched for hours, swearing that Sunnydale was not this big last time she
had been around the whole city. Yet, she didn’t have a car. Did she?
After a few minutes of resting, she decided to get up again and retrace her
steps. She *had* to find Spike. Preferably, without Faith.
She walked into one of Sunnydale’s mall’s intending to get herself a drink of
some sort, while of course keeping a look out for Spike.
And sure enough there he was. Right by a water fountain with Fair, and a…little
boy?
The boy looked like a little bundle, wrapped in a bright blue blanket while snug
in his carriage.
“Buffy!” She heard Spike say.
Spike looked her in the eyes and smiled at her. Motioning for her to come over.
Faith just glared, obviously seeing her as a threat. Buffy was glad.
“Hi,” She walked up to Spike, just wanting to pin him against the wall at this
moment and give him the ride of his life. Even with Faith watching.
“Hey, I wanted to know if you were okay. You passed out back there a the shop.”
He spoke, obviously concerned.
“Yeah. I’m fine.” She replied, and smiled when she realized his eyes were
traveling up and down her body.
“Spike,” Faith said annoyed at their conversation. “We have to go home, it’s
almost time for Jeremy’s nap.”
Buffy almost fainted, the thought never occurring to her before now. “You have a
son?”

A/N: Sorry about the extra day I couldn’t upload a
chapter. But, now here I am again. Hopefully, I’ll be able to upload a chapter
everyday this week, but I am taking a test now very similar to the S.A.T.’s
*frowns* Well here’s chapter seven…oh and also after Spike’s memory back this
story will get very…well…interesting. I also added a line to the summary.
Chapter Seven-Jeremy
“Yeah, I do have a son.” He stepped to the side. “Buffy meet Jeremy.”
Faith scowled at the blonde slayer as she stepped forward to take a look at the
cooing baby who didn’t seem to resemble his ‘parent’s’ one bit. He *was*
extremely cute though. She smiled slightly, not letting the thought that this
was Spike’s and Faith’s child pass into mind. She looked up at Spike’s silently
asking for permission to touch him. Spike nodded. So, she lowered her hand down
to brush some black locks out of the babies eyes. The skin of Jeremy seemed to
burn her hand. She jumped back surprised.
“OW!” She hadn’t meant to scream that loud, but the skin of the child had now
left and scalding and red mark on the palm of Buffy’s hand. Something definitely
wasn’t right about this child.
“Are you okay? What happened?” Spike asked, stepping near and noticing the mark
Jeremy had left of Buffy’s hand.
“N-Nothing…” Buffy stumbled over her words a little trying desperately to ignore
the stinging pain that seemed to be expanding though out the lower part of her
arm now. “I…I have to go.”
“Do you need a ride?” Spike asked, concern showing on his handsome features.
“Please.” She choked out, tears stinging her hazel eyes. “Take me to the Magick
Box.”
Spike nodded, leading her away quickly while Faith continued to glare at Buffy.
Not caring one single bit what her son had done to the slayer. As long as this
girl didn’t steal her husband. And, obviously she was becoming a major threat.
Just the way Spike looked at her…She stopped herself from thinking those
horrible thoughts. She wouldn’t let that happen.
“Are you sure you don’t want me to take you to a doctor instead?” Spike asked on
the way over to the Magick Box. For, the scalding red burn had spread its way
throughout her entire left arm now.
“I’m sure.” She replied, clutching her stinging arm to her desperately.
Yet, just to see what was wrong with this baby she would need something of it’s.
Hurriedly she yanked a piece of its black locks from its head. Luckily, it
didn’t notice.
Spike dropped her off in front of the store and Buffy made a run for it.
Desperately wanting to get rid of the sting. As soon as possible.
Luckily, the whole Scooby Gang was situated around the Magick Box, doing various
things.
“You guys!” Buffy barely yelled, needing help now.
Hearing her desperate tone, the five occupants of the store came running to her
aid.
“Buffy? What happened to your arm?” Willow asked, watching as her arm turned
from a light pink to a scorching red.
“Spike…he has a baby. I touched it and this happened…Here.” She thrust the lock
of the babies hair into her best friends hand.
Willow ran for a microscope to study it while Tara started to do a spell to heal
Buffy.
“Hold on there Buff.” Xander said reassuringly. “Tara’s gonna help ya.”
Buffy nodded, tears finally springing to her eyes.
And, suddenly she felt nauseous. It wasn’t as bad as when she had doubled over
in pain, but it was nausea. It just added to the pain in her arm.
She clutched her stomach and her arm desperately, moaning in pain.
Spike sat outside of the Magick Box, peering through the window, hoping Buffy
was okay. Something was definitely wrong. Who gets a burn on their arm from
touching a baby?
“Spike.” Faith said, annoyance in her voice. “Who cares about her. Lets go
home.”
He turned around and raised a scarred brown eyebrow at her. “Why are you being
so rude? I want to make sure she’s okay.” His tone was also annoyed.
“Well, Jeremy *has* to take a nap. Okay?” She asked, flinging her short brown
hair over her shoulder.
“I already put him down for a nap earlier today. So, no he doesn’t.” Spike
growled.
“Well, he seems tired again so lets go.” She narrowed her eyes at her husband as
she grabbed his arm.
He yanked it out of her grasp. “Get away from me.”
She looked up at him, a hurt expression on her face. But, for some reason he
just *didn’t* feel guilty. He just felt dislike towards her.
But,…for Buffy…he suddenly felt an odd feeling. Yet, he had only known her less
than two days it almost felt like…love. Did he love her?
He put his head in his hands and was startled by Faith gripping him hard by the
forearm once again.
“Let go of me.” He growled, flinging her arm off his own.
“Come with me! NOW!” She yelled, viscously trying to grab his arm again.
“What the hell is your problem?!” He yelled, watching as Faith’s face grew red
with anger.
The couple continued to bicker, yet didn’t notice when their child had grown to
a 9ft tall demon behind them.
TBC…
A/N: Was it just me, or did everyone else not like the
end of “Normal Again”. It looked like their setting up for the ending of the
whole show, with Buffy never being the slayer. Which is supposedly supposed to
happen in season 7…*growls* We’ll see about that…
Chapter Eight-Feelings
Blue slimed dripped out of the demon’s nostrils. The demon that was once their
child. Yet, Faith and Spike continued to bicker. Surprisingly, unaware of the
thing that was hovering over them.
A drop of blue slime dripped out of his nose, falling on the top of Faith’s
head. The couple both looked up at what the interruption was, and screamed.
Willow continued spreading the newly formulated cure for the itch Buffy had over
Buffy’s now purple and swollen arm. The had recently found out Spike and Faith’s
child was soe type of demon, and she had to get this itch gone fast so she could
plan what to do. When suddenly, two petrified screams broke the silence that was
comsuming the group.
Buffy jumped up in a hurry and ran out the door of the Magick Box. And sure
enough, a ugly demon was hovering over Spike’s and Faith’s heads. She was
reluctant to save Faith, but a slayer’s gotta do what a slayer’s gotta do.
Ignoring the still burning itch that was on her arm she went ahead and started
attacking the demon. Yet, surprisingly the fight didn’t take to long. Five
minutes would of summed up the amount of time she spent fighting the thing.
Strange.
Now here was a question to ask: Why would The Powers That Be send a demon child
down with Faith and Spike? Definitely weird. Something wasn’t right.
Remembering what had just happened she ran towards Spike to see if he was okay.
“Are you okay?” She asked the bleached-blonde in front of her.
He nodded his head, “What was that?”
“I…I guess I’ll have to explain, huh?” She smiled a little. And, that’s when she
realized the painful itch on her arm had disappeared. She shrugged her
shoulders. Nothing was normal in Sunnydale.
“Where’s my child?” Faith suddenly asked, staring wide eyed at the broken and
managed carriage that lay about a foot away from her.
Buffy took a deep breath, “Faith…I think that was your child.”
Faith looked up at Buffy and shot her a glare, “You’re lying.”
“N-No, I really am not.” Buffy said, suddenly finding recgonization of the old
Faith on this woman’s face.
Spike stayed silent while Faith accused Buffy of lying. He didn’t know what to
say. He was numb and, his child was some sort of demon? Demons really existed?
Yet, oddly this seemed familiar to him in some way.
There it was. The nausea again. Buffy bent over and ducked her head, holding her
soar stomach.
“Buffy are you okay?” Willow asked, nearing the now sick looking slayer.
“I…I don’t know.” She moaned, sitting down on the pavement and trying to make
the pain stop.
“Here, lets get you inside.” Willow spoke quietly, starting to lift Buffy up by
her left arm. Spike immediately helped by taking hold of her other arm. And,
unconsciously she leaned her head on his shoulder.
Faith followed behind the whole group of people who were trying to comfort
Buffy, still trying to hold her tears back for her lost son. She *really* didn’t
like the way her husband was acting towards this woman, and she had to being
lying about her son. She had to.
The gang set Buffy down on a nearby chair and Willow went immediately to get a
warm washcloth.
“God it hurts,” Buffy moaned, clutching her stomach. And, suddenly she got up
and ran towards the bathroom.
“I think she’s gonna be sick.” Dawn stated, for she had been hovering back the
whole time her sister entered the Magick Box.
Spike nodded, “Yeah.”
“You know,” Dawn looked at Spike. “You are starting to kinda act like the old
Spike. Are you sure you don’t remember anything?”
“Feelings.” He stated. “I remember certain feeling when I see people.” He
smirked. “So, I guess you people aren’t so crazy afterall, huh Nibblet?”
Dawn smiled, “You called me Nibblet!”
“I did, didn’t I? Don’t know where the bloody hell that came from…” He was cut
off by an excited Dawn.
“You used to always call me that!” She stated, running forward and hugging him.
Surprisingly, the hug was comforting for him. He felt some sort of…older
brother-like affection for her.
Spike looked up startled when a distraught Buffy went back to the table with a
worried looking Willow.
“I think you have the flu, Buffy.” Willow stated, patting her best friend on the
back for comfort.
Buffy groaned, “Great.”
“Let’s get you…” Willow stopped talking when Spike collapsed on the ground,
thrashing in pain.
TBC…
A/N: Since I was really bored and had nothing better
to do. I’ve been contemplating the end of Buffy all day. (God I don’t have a
life…) And I came to the conclusion that she *couldn’t* possibly be in a mental
hospital. 1st of all, we see others people’s point of views, including when she
was seeing herself in the mental hospital. And 2nd, there is a little show
called ‘Angel’,…So, as you just see, it wouldn’t be possible. Okay, I just had
to share that with someone *g*.
Oh! Oh! Oh! Wanna hear the worst pick-up line?:
“Excuse me, but I lost my phone number. Can I have yours?”
P.S. Sorry, I couldn’t upload yesterday…my mom said I ‘played’ too much and
didn’t do enough work so I couldn’t upload ‘til the next day. *sigh* …Parents…
P.P.S. And, my best wishes go out to Alexia Thomas, her sisters been in a car
accident and is in the I.C.U. I hope she gets better soon. *kisses*
…Strange thing is same thing just happened to my friend’s brother, lets wish him
well too. Okay?
Chapter Nine-Everything
Spike continued thrashing violently on the floor for minutes that seemed like
hours for Buffy. And, totally dismissing the sick feeling in her stomach, and
kneeled by Spike’s side. Tears streamed down her face. What was happening to
him?
Abruptly, he stopped thrashing. Yet, he still didn’t move. Buffy immediately
felt for a heartbeat which Spike now supplied. Thankfully, it was working.
Faith knelt by other side of him, trying her best to get Buffy away from her
husband. But Buffy wasn’t having it. She just ignored Faith. God, she hated that
woman.
“Buffy?” She jumped, startled, at the sound of Spike’s groggy and pain- filled
voice.
“Spike,” She couldn’t help it when fresh tears fell from her eyes, and a smiled
about a mile long spread across her features.
He smiled also, “Buffy.”
She nodded, acknowledging him.
“Wh-what happened?” She asked, running a hand though his messed-up blonde curls.
Faith batted her hand away childishly, and Buffy glared for a split second. Yet,
her eyes immediately found her way back to her love.
“I…I remember.” He stated, tears filling his own crystal-blue eyes.
“Everything?” She whispered.
He shivered visibly as her hot breath came in contact with his sensitive skin.
“Everything.” He smiled.
She threw herself into his arms. Savoring the way he held her.
“Get out of my husbands arms,” She jumped when she heard Faith’s voice, thick
with venom.
Buffy didn’t seem to hear her, neither did Spike. For they were both lost in
each other’s embrace. Oblivious to the world surrounding them.
“Tell me you love me.” She whispered. “Please.”
“I’ll always love you Buffy,” He replied.
She let her own tears fall, forming a small puddle on Spike’s cheek.
“I love you too.” She smiled widely at the ecstatic expression that formed on
Spike’s face. And she wanted to kiss him so badly. Yet, the only problem was
sitting right across from her. Faith.
Buffy raised her head, noticing all of the Scoobies had apparently cleared out
to leave the two the their intimate moment. The only person left was Faith.
“Spike, can we go home now?” Faith asked impatiently. Not seeming to care that
her husband looked like he could’ve been dying less than five minutes ago.
Without looking over at his wife, Spike replied, “I’m not going anywhere. You
can go if you want.”
“Well *William*,” Faith emphasized his real name for affect. “I’m not going to
sit around here while *Buffy* makes moon eyes at you all day.”
Spike simply shrugged, not taking his eyes off of Buffy.
“What could possibly happen while you’re gone?” He asked innocently, yet
possibilities flooded his mind.
“Well, for one, she could try to seduce you.” She shot an accusing glare at
Buffy.
“You know,” Buffy glared back at her. “I *am* sitting right here.”
Faith shrugged, “So?”
“Bitch.” Buffy muttered.
“What did you call me?” Faith asked, her hands balled into fists.
“I said,” Buffy smiled cruelly. “Bitch.”
“Oh, Well look who’s talking.” Faith shot back.
“Great come back line, “Buffy rolled her eyes. “I’m impressed.”
“Fuck you.” Faith almost yelled. Than, immediately grabbed Spike by the arm.
“Spike we’re going.”
“No.” He stated firmly. “I’m not going anywhere.”
“Yes you are. You’re coming with me.” Faith narrowed her eyes at her husband.
“Now.”
“Look you’re not in control of me.” Spike growled.
Faith narrowed her eyes than walked over to Buffy. “This is all you’re fault.”
She ended that sentence with a punch to Buffy’s soar and nauseated stomach.
TBC…
Chapter Ten-Ecstasy
Buffy immediately fell over backwards from the impact of the punch, while
clutching her stomach and moaning in pain.
Spike stood up and glared at Faith, “Why the fuck did you bloody do that? Are
you a fucking moron?” He than quickly leaned down next to Buffy, “Are you okay,
luv?”
Buffy moaned in response.
“HELP!” He yelled, making the Scoobies run out from the back of the Magick Box.
“Wha-What happened?” Willow asked, kneeling on the other side of her best
friend.
“Faith fucking punched her in the stomach.” Spike growled. Than looked back down
at Buffy, smoothing her blonde hair out of her eyes.
“Do you think we should get her to a doctor?” Tara asked from the back of the
room.
“No, No,” Buffy moaned. “I’m fine. Really.” She managed to sit up, though
leaning on Spike for support.
“Are you sure luv?” Spike whispered, his hot breath tickling her ear.
“I’m sure.” She replied looking up at him, her lips mere inches from her own. “I
just…maybe I should get home for a little. You know, rest.”
Spike nodded, “You want me to take you home?”
She nodded, “Sure.”
“It’s okay Spike.” Willow cut in. “We can take her home.”
Tara pulled Willow off to the side for a second, whispering, “I really don’t
think that’s a good idea Will. Look at them.” Willow was greatful for her
x-lovers touch and just wanted to get lost in the moment, but she looked over at
Spike and Buffy anyway.
“…Or not.” She spoke, looking at both Buffy and Spike.
Spike nodded, “Alright then.”
“Spike,” Faith spoke up from the other side of him. “Maybe I should come with
you.”
“No, s’okay. You take the car home. I’ll be there later.” He than proceeded to
pick Buffy up and walk out of the Magick Box. Right towards 1630 Revello Drive.
Luckily, the walk to Buffy’s house was not long. Running there did the trick.
And, once inside, he proceeded to carry Buffy straight to her room.
Laying her down on her bed, he stripped back the covers and layed her down under
them.
“Alright, so…you want me to leave now?” He asked Buffy, who by now seemed to be
feeling a whole lot better.
“Stay with me,” She said, her tone suddenly becoming husky.
He wasn’t surprised when he felt his cock spring to life.
She smiled and pulled him down next to her, whispering, “I want you to make me
scream.”
He smiled. “In your house?”
“Yes,” She smiled seductively. “Spike, make *love* to me.”
He could swear he felt his heart stop. Had she just asked him to make *love* to
her? Yet, he just smiled back and lowered his mouth down to hers so their mouths
met in a passionate and love-filled kiss.
He slowly lifted the cute t-shirt she had been wearing over her head, making her
squirm with anticipation. He chuckled.
“Your enjoying making me wait, aren’t you?” She asked, her eyes glazed with
lust.
He smiled in response, “You know I am.”
Next, his hands slowly made their way to her belt buckled, undoing it slowly.
The same went for her pants and her panties.
Once she lay there naked, she immediately flipped him over so she was on top.
Once on top of him, she ripped his clothes off quickly. Wanting him so bad.
“Ooo pet, getting a little frisky aren’t we?” He bucked his pelvis into her than
quickly flipped her on her back, so he was straddling her.
“Hey,” She complained, giving him puppy dog eyes. “I liked where I was.”
“Well that’s to bad, isn’t it?” Spike teased, dipping his head to gently suck on
one of her hard nipples.
She moaned as soon as she felt his warm tounge come in contact with her
sensitive flesh. He just smiled, slowly circling his tounge around the hard nub.
“Spike,” She was begging now. “Please, stop teasing. I’m going to explode if
you’re not in me soon.”
He smiled, and sucked on the other nipple. Doing the same thing he had done to
the first one.
“Spike,” She said louder. “*Please*,”
He smirked yet again and let his tounge slowly make its way down her body, until
he came to her light brown curls.
He looked up at her and smiled. She bucked in response.
So slowly, he slid one finger into her sopping wet core, making her whimper. He
than, quickly yanked it out, sliding his finger into his mouth.
“You taste so good.” He said huskily.
“Spike!” She pleaded. “Now!”
He smiled, and now slid his tounge into her, teasing her clit. She moaned
loudly, savoring the feel of his tounge teasing her sensitive spot. But than, as
quickly as it started, he yet again pulled out.
She had had enough of this by now. So, she quickly flipped him over and startled
him, lowering her pussy onto his hard dick. This time he moaned.
He quickly flipped her back over, yet didn’t leave her core. He started pumping
slow at first, but than faster and faster. Knowing, that neither of them would
last long tonight.
And, before they both knew it. They were both screaming out in ecstasy as they
came.
But, little did they know, just a few minutes ago, Willow and Dawn had arrived
home.
Well, the door to Buffy’s room opened and Dawn peered in. Yet, shielding her
eyes when she saw the scene.
“Dawn!” Buffy scolded.
Dawn turned around so she wasn’t facing them, yet giggled a little, “God Buffy,
I could of swore I heard a jungle of monkey’s in here…But I guess that was just
you. Oh and Spike, nice ass.”
TBC…
Chapter Eleven-The Doctors
“Out! Out! Out! Now!” Buffy yelled, enraged at her younger sister.
Dawn just giggled and proceeded to shut the door behind her.
Buffy looked over at Spike, only to find his face was bright pink from trying
not to laugh. A grin was plastered across his face.
“Oh, and *what’s* so funny?” She asked with faked annoyance.
He couldn’t hold it in. He burst out laughing. “A…jungle…of…monkeys.” He choked
out between laughter. “She was right.”
“HEY!” Buffy swatted him with a pillow. “I *so* did not sound like monkeys!”
He smirked at her, posturing his body so he had his elbow on the mattress of the
bed and his head in the palm of his hand. “Yes you did.”
She glared at him, than turned away, “I’m not talking to you.” She said
playfully.
He reached up and pulled her towards him, “We don’t have to talk.”
She smiled a pulled him in for a passionate kiss.
That’s when the pain and nausea started again. She pulled away quickly, but not
fast enough. Because, she ended up vomiting on him.
“Yuck!” Spike yelled, but than noticing the pained look on her face was more
concerned for her than himself. “Are you okay, luv?”
She shook her head, “This has been going on for days now. And, I was having mild
stomachache’s before this.”
He nodded his head and got up, grabbing a spare towel off of her chair, and
cleaning himself off of it. “Right then. Lets get you to the doctor.”
“What? No! I can’t go to the doctor!” She protested.
“Yes you can,” Spike said, pulling on his tight black jeans, followed by his
wife beater and leather duster. “Now get dressed.”
“But-“ She started to protest again.
“Please, lets just find out what’s wrong with you. I promise that’s all.” He
gave her a puppy-dog look, which made her giggle yet give in.
“Fine,” She said, pulling on her clothes, which she’d discarded on the floor
earlier.
“Right.” He said, “Do you happen to have cologne or something so I don’t smell
like Buffy-puke?”
She glared at him but nodded, “Yeah, Xander left some over here.”
“Great,” He replied. “Now I’m going to smell like the Whelp.”
“Do you want to smell bad or what?” She asked, grabbing a small bottle that read
‘Aspen’ from off her dresser.
He quickly sprayed himself with it than proceeded to lead her out the door.
Once they walked down the stairs, they heard giggling.
Buffy rolled her eyes at her younger sister, “Tell Will I’m going to the doctors
with Spike. We’ll be back in a little.”
Dawn nodded, “Make sure you don’t have sex while you’re on the road.” She
grinned.
“Dawn, “Buffy narrowed her eyes, than couldn’t help but break out into a grin.
“Don’t complement by boyfriends ass again.”
“So I’m your boyfriend now, eh?” Spike couldn’t help but smile himself.
“Yes. And you *are* going to get a divorce with that bitch known as Faith.” She
said, pulling the x-vampire towards her for a passionate kiss.
“You betcha.” He replied. “Now lets get outta hear before you throw up on me
again.”
Dawn giggled from behind them.
Buffy smiled at her yet replied, “Shut up.”
And before they knew it they were on the road heading towards Buffy’s doctor.
Once they arrived at the doctors, a doctor known as Dr. Geier lead them into a
small office and after finding out the symptoms of his patient, he proceeded to
take tests from samples of Buffy’s bodily fluisd. And had also he had also taken
her into a private room for a little, to do more accurate and descriptive tests.
Which, had Spike bored to tears from impatience.
“So what do you think is wrong?” Spike asked, while the doctor was out taking
tests and Buffy was back from the private one-on-one with the doctor.
Buffy shrugged, “Only God knows.”
“Or The Powers That Be.” Spike smirked. “They seem to control everything around
here.”
Buffy smiled, “Tell me about it.”
The door to the examining room flew open, startling the couple. And, the doctor
walked in, an unreadable expression on his face.
“So,” Spike asked. “What is it?”
“I think you should sit down,” The doctor said quietly.
“I don’t want to sit down.” Spike replied, not liking the sounds of what the
doctor was saying.
“Okay, if you really insist-“ The doctor was cut off by an impatient Spike.
“Tell me already!”
“Well,” He looked straight at Buffy. “Miss Summers, the tests say you’re
pregnant…”
Buffy’s eyes grew wide. “Pregnant?!” That would mean it would have to be Spike’s
baby and he had somehow impregnated her while he was a vampire. Yet, she didn’t
want to ponder that. All she could be right now was happy. She was going to be a
mother! Even if she was young…she was going to be a mother!
“*But*,” The doctor cut her off. “The baby is a stillborn.”
Buffy’s happy expression immediately turned into a frown. “Y-You mean the baby’s
dead?”
He nodded, but Spike didn’t seem to hear. “A stillborn! A stillborn! That’s
great! Tell me is it a boy or girl!? A boy or a girl!?”
“I really don’t think you want to know that-“
Spike cut the doctor off, “Tell me! What is it?”
The doctor and Buffy looked at Spike like he’d grown an extra head but he didn’t
seem to notice that either.
“Well…it’s a boy, but…We were thinking flushing it out next week would be good…”
The doctor trailed off, not wanting to upset Buffy more.
“No we’re not going to flush it out!” Spike yelled than, “A boy! I’m going to be
the father of a boy! Yeah!” Spike said proudly.
“Spike,” Buffy finally said, startling him.
He looked at her face, which now had tears trailing down it.
“Buffy what’s wrong aren’t you happy?” He asked, wiping a single tear out of her
hazel eyes.
“Spike, why should I? Our baby is dead.” She replied, fresh tears spilling out
of her eyes.
“ Oh Buffy,” Spike said. “Our baby isn’t dead. He’s *undead*”

Chapter Twelve- Familiar
Buffy almost choked on her own saliva. Did Spike just say her child was undead?
“Y-you c-can’t be serious.” She stumbled over her words, while looking up into
the crystal orbs of her lover.
“I am serious, luv.” Spike spoke, running a hand through her short blonde locks.
“Excuse me,” The doctor spoke from behind them. “Did you just say the baby was
undead?”
Spike smirked, “I did.”
The doctor looked at Spike like he was insane. “Alright…”
“Can we go now? I think my girlfriend’s been through enough tonight.” Spike
said, hands now firmly placed on his hips.
The doctor nodded his head slightly than turned to Buffy, “But, Miss Summers, we
still have to talk about the options of flushing the baby out of your system.”
He looked at her sincerely.
“We’re not fucking flushing it out. Did you hear Spike or not?” She asked.
The doctor was taken back by her mood change, “Right then, make sure you
schedule an appointment before you leave.”
She turned to glare at him, “Dr Geier, the baby is *not* going to be flushed
out. Do you understand me?”
He nodded his head yet had an unconvinced look was on his face. He silently led
them to the front desk.
The car ride home was fairly silent, for each one was lost in their own
thoughts. Buffy silently stared out the passenger window while Spike kept his
eyes on the road. They arrived at the Summers’ house, still not knowing what to
do.
They walked into the house still silent, while they passed Dawn and Willow who
were giving them questioning looks. Buffy ignored the looks and Spike just
followed her as she hurried upstairs.
“Buffy,” He spoke, once they were alone in her room.
“Yes?” She asked as if nothing had happened while they were at the doctors.
“What are we going to do about the baby? How are we going to tell everyone?” He
asked two out of the many questions that were filling his brain.
She sat down on the bed, hands folded in her lap, “I have no clue, Spike.” She
spoke, tears forming in her beautiful hazel eyes. “I mean I love the sound of
being a mother but, the babies undead. Why did this happen? And more
importantly, why did you come back? Even with no memory? And married to Faith of
all people? I’m so fucking confused.” She placed her head in her hands and Spike
moved to comfort her.
“Shhh,” He spoke. “With the gang around we’ll be sure to find the answers to all
of your questions. Don’t worry, luv.” He ran his hands through her hair in a
comforting gesture.
“And,” She spoke up again, her voice thick with tears. “What you said: How are
we going to tell everyone? What are we going to do about the baby? How the hell
am I supposed to take care of the baby and Dawn at the same time? And, I love
Willow, but she isn’t helping much. Can’t she at least help?”
“Calm down, pet.” He whispered. “Tell you what, I’ll move in. We’ll…we’ll figure
something out. I know some things in your life are screwed up right now. But
Buffy, they won’t always be this way. Don’t worry.” He pulled her into a hug.
She sighed, falling into his embrace. “I love you.”
His heart skipped a beat, “Y-You love me?” He stuttered.
“Yes.” She answered. “I just thought now would be a good time to tell you, I
guess.”
“Well, I love you too pet, I always will.” He kissed her softly on the lips.
“Maybe you should get some rest now. I’ll be right next to you when you wake up.
I promise.”
“I can’t sleep right now, Spike. I feel like shit. The stupid doctor didn’t even
prescribe any medication. I’m really worried. I just…God,”
He pulled her close to him once more, “Alright then. Than we’ll stay up. We
can…watch movies or something…”
They were disturbed by a quiet knock on the door.
“Who is it?” Buffy said loudly.
“It’s me.” Came Dawn’s voice from the other side of the door. “Can I come in.”
“Yes,” Buffy answered.
Dawn walked in and sat down on the bed, looking directly at Spike, “Some…girl is
here to see you. I have no clue who she is, but she’s English like you.”
Spike looked confused and followed Dawn out the door with Buffy on his heels.
Slowly, he descended the steps and walked into the living room of the house
where the guest was seated.
“William.” He heard his name spoken, a familiar voice saying it.
He looked up to be staring into familiar chocolate brown eyes, “Florence…”

Chapter Thriteen- Confessions
Spike stared at the guest for another moment. Not able to form any words.
"William," She spoke again, her english accent remarkably like his own, and her
wavy blonde hair styled abover her shoulders in a ponytail.
"Flossie, is...is that really you?" Spike asked, tears glistening in his
sapphire eyes.
She smiled, "Yes, William."
"But,...but how?" He paused. "Angelus and Darla...they...they..." He trailed
off, choking back a sob that was threatening to escape.
"Killed me. I know. I...well I was resurrected,...brought back to help." She
spoke, her chocolate eyes locking with his sapphire ones.
"Help?" He asked.
"Yes, I helped bring you back...But Faith, well I didn't bring her back. You
see, Faith died around the same time as you. And-"
"Hold on one second." Buffy spoke up looking curiously at Florence, wondering if
she should view this girl as a threat. "Who are you? And why is Spike getting
all teary eyed over you?"
"Spike?" The girl giggled. "You go by Spike now, William?"
"Yes, I figured it'd suit me more." He answered.
"Um, excuse me," Buffy cut in. "But is anyone going to answer my question."
"Right." Florence spoke. "I'm his younger sister."
"Sister?" Dawn asked incredicously from her spot behind Buffy. "Spike has a
sister?"
"Sister?" Buffy asked, repeating her sister.
"Yes, sister." Florence answered.
"Okay,..." Buffy trailed off, at a loss for words.
Florence shook her head at Buffy's confusion and turned back to face Spike.
"Right, where was I?"
He took her small hands in his own, than spoke, "Faith...resurrected around the
same time as me."
"Yes, well...sometimes consequences happen to resurrection spells. Expecially
the kind I do. You, see I work with the Powers That Be." She answered, pausing
to scan the room around her.
Spike looked at her. With his eyes, urging her to continue.
"Well,...Faith came back as a demon. A demon that will be extremly hard to
defeat. But, Buffy." She looked straight at the blonde standing across from her.
"She needs your offspring. So, be careful."
"Offspring?!" Dawn, and Willow who was being quiet the entire time, spoke.
"Yes,..." Buffy blushed slightly, suddenly finding interest in the carpet.
"Well, I'm pregnant with Spike's undead baby..."
The silence that descended upon the room was defening.
Spike coughed, "Dawn?" He said. "You're going to be an aunt."
Dawn merely stood there a shocked look on her face, "How..., how are you going
to take care of this baby?"
"I'm moving in." Spike stated.
"You are?" Buffy, Willow, and Dawn asked all at the same moment.
"Yes." He answered.
Florence sat there, "Do you want me to finish?"
"Sorry, go on." Spike said, sitting back down across from his sister. "Why does
she need my child?"
"She needs it's blood- half vampire, half slayer, to complete the spell to
become the strongest being in the universe." Florence answered. "I'm here to
help you stop her and to help protect the baby." She sighed. "I'm going too need
eyes on this baby at all times. Because, unfortunately when my partener, Salay,
granted the miracle of Angel having a baby. He didn't even come to watch over
it. And the outcome was a propecy that Angel was going to kill his child, yet
Holtz brought Connor into another dimension. Yet, it's possible he's still
alive. But not *that* possible. So, in other words Angel could still kill his
son."
Buffy felt like she was hyperventalating, "Whoa...back up here...Angel has a
CHILD?!"
Florence looked up at Buffy, "You didn't hear?"
The three other occupants of the room shook they're heads along with Buffy.
"Who...who's the mother?" Buffy asked, taking a seat next to Spike.
"Darla was the mother." Florence replied, "But, she staked herself."
Buffy took a few deep breaths. Spike glared at her.
"Don't get yourself so bloody worked up over Angelus." Spike growled, than
mumbled under his breath, "Sodding poof."
"Look, it's just a little shocking. Okay?" Buffy asked, annoyed that Spike would
pick this time out of all times to be jealous.
"Please don't fight right now." Florence interrupted them. "We need to talk this
out."
Yet they didn't have time to talk it out, for Faith had knocked down the door
and was now staring at everyone. Her eyes glowing a blood red.
The End...SIKE! Hehehe, you think I was gonna end there? Well, you probably
didn't but...I'm a weirdo.
