Prologue

They could tell Buffy Summers was in love.

They knew it was the first time she had ever been in love. And they knew that she loved someone she thought would never love her back.

And that sucked.

It was Spike, the hot It boy of Hollywood. The hot actor that all girls had wet dreams about. The guy whose face littered every page of teen magazines as well as on TV. The guy she was so in love with.

How would it ever be that their Buffy, simple, mousy Buffy, would ever receive the attention and love that she wanted from him?

How could it be that Buffy, the personal assistant to Spike, saw him 24/ 7, and had never gained his attention at all even when she was in charge of helping him out and getting what he needed, meaning that she HAD to interact with him.

The answer was simple, really. Buffy didn’t have the type of look that Spike went after. Spike liked beautiful girls with stylish fitted clothes that showed off their bodies nicely.

No, their Buffy wasn’t like that. Her glasses made her face look mousy and her hair was always up in a bun. Her baggy clothes were considered “conservative” and showed no inch of skin. She wore no makeup and had a pen behind one ear, and a clipboard in her hand to complete the look.

And Cordelia, along with Willow, was damn sure that they would change that.

Author’s note: Yeah, so that was the prologue (T-T) Ugh… did you know how hard that was to write? I am not a good writer and I’ve never really have written a story about anything. So, I love reading Spuffy fanfic and one day decided, ‘hey! Why not try writing one?’ so here I am… please review and offer me suggestions and email me if you are interested in becoming my beta… and o yeah… please come up with a title as by now, you have noticed that this story is called ‘Untitled’.

Chapter One- Monday Mornings

It was 6:35 AM.

Buffy was up and about, rushing to get her things ready so she could go over to Spike’s place and wake him up.

‘Oh God, oh God, I’m gonna be late... um... uh okay, clipboard... check. Pen... check. Bag... check. Hair… chec-no! Bad Buffy! Why do you care about your hair? Because I want Spike to notice me… No! Bad, bad Buffy!’

She sighed. Another inner turmoil, and she just had one the other day about what to wear today. Not that she had many selections to choose from so why did she even bother with her looks?

She was awakening from her thoughts when she saw Xander, her friend from childhood, in his car honking at her to hurry.

She ran and jumped in, “Thanks for driving me, Xan. One of these days, I’ll get a car, and then I’ll be able to do this on my own.”

“Uh… yeah, and since when can you drive? Buffy, hate to break this to ya, but you’ve failed to get your driver’s license 3 times already, why try again?”

Buffy pouted,” That’s not nice! Don’t ruin my dreams!”

Buffy couldn’t keep her mad face on as Xander contagious, quirky laugh filled the car. She started laughing as well.

After a peaceful silence filled the car, Buffy’s thoughts turned to Spike.

Spike. The man she was in love with. And at 24 years old, William “Spike” Giles had accomplished many things including winning the hearts of almost every critic’s heart as well as winning the highly distinguished awards every actor
hoped for. Life was good for him. And if that wasn’t enough, he also had the hearts of every girl in his palm… including hers.

So, every girl would kill to have her job, right? To be the personal assistant to SPIKE GILES?

Yeah, that’s what Buffy thought.

And look where it got her... absolutely nowhere.

She tried talking to him outside of her job, but that didn’t work since Spike was always too busy either with some interview or movie.

‘Or it could be the girls he always hangs out with’, Buffy thought bitterly.

Buffy rested her head on the window of the car and sighed. Why couldn’t she be like those girls?

*~*FLASHBACK*~*

“Umm… Spike? C-can I talk to you?” Buffy was surprised at how nervous she was. All she was gonna do was ask if Spike wanted to hang out with her…

“Not now, luv. I’ve got some... acquaintances to meet with.” Spike replied. He wasn’t even looking at her as he talked. He was too busy staring at a couple of girls standing in front of him.

Buffy watched as he smirked and leered at them and felt her heart sink. She looked down at what she was wearing and then looked at the girls.

They were wearing, from what she could see, stylish designer label mini skirts, tight tops, and stilettos with their hair and makeup perfect, while Buffy was wearing a long khaki skirt that skimmed the ground, some sneakers, a baggy shirt with a hoodie. Her hair was in a loose bun and she wore no makeup- just the usual. They were probably models, beautiful and perfect in every way.

Buffy felt tears coming to her eyes, and not wanting to be seen crying by Spike and the girls, she excused her self and quickly left the room.

*~*END FLASHBACK*~*

Xander poked Buffy on the shoulder. “Buffy? We’re here.”

Buffy snapped out of her thoughts and looked at her watch. “Oh Lord, it’s almost 7:00, I better get going.” She ran out looking over her shoulder and yelled,” Thanks, Xander!”

Xander shook his head at the girl, knowing already of what she was thinking, and sped off.

Buffy ran into Spike’s house, more like a mansion, and checked in with the security there before ran into Spike’s room.

She entered the dark room and slowly walked to the bed. She felt her cheeks grow red at the site of his pale, naked body (thank God, the bottom half was covered by the sheets).

Buffy decided to let him sleep a little bit longer and started to look around his bedroom. His bed was very sensual and seductive, and to tell the truth, Buffy thought his whole room was. It reeked of sexuality and she knew he brought many women to that same bed. Buffy couldn’t help but feel a twinge of jealousy, however, she pushed it back down where it came from.

She looked at the bed. The cherry wood was so nice looking with the black and dark red silk sheets and pillows on the king-sized canopy bed. She even noticed there was a mirror on the ceiling above his bed and she felt her cheeks grow color again. The tables and drawers were also of the same dark cherry wood and the curtains were the same color of dark red on the bed. It all came together and it looked good. And it matched Spike’s image well, since he was known to always wear red or black.

“Are you just gonna stand there or what?” Spike’s voice startled her as she yelped and turned back to the bed.

Buffy blushed and looked down. “I thought I would just give you some more time to sleep in.”

“Well, did you have to stay in my room the whole time?”

Buffy felt her whole face grow even redder, “I’m sorry sir, I… I was just thinking and I… I didn’t e-even realize I was still here. I’m sorry.”

Spike chuckled and Buffy felt her heart flutter. “‘S alright, luv. No worries. I tend to do that sometimes, too.”

Buffy smiled.

“Well, why don’t you clean up and get ready for the day, and when you come back, I’ll read off today’s schedule and we’ll get the day started.”

“Sounds perfect, pet.” And with a smirk and in a teasing manner, “It’s a date.” He left without seeing her reaction and for that, Buffy was glad. The disappointment on her face was evident and she wished he had really meant it.

She sighed. ‘Today is gonna be a looong day.’

Tbc…

Chapter Two- Getting the Day Over With

Buffy smiled.

Everything was as planned. Now she just waited for Spike to get out of the shower and they would be on their way to Cordy’s show.

She laid out what clothes he would be wearing and waited.

And waited…

And waited…

Looking at her watch, her eyes widened and ran to the bathroom door to knock. Just as she was about to knock, Spike had opened the door and before he knew it, Buffy had knocked on his chest instead of the door not noticing as her eyes were closed.

Spike chuckled and Buffy yelped and looked up to him.

“Whoops! Sorry, Spike! I-I-I didn’t realize you were there… heh… um, yeah and did I say I was sorry?” Her cheeks were red and she felt flustered and embarrassed when she saw the amusement in his eyes.

“It’s okay, luv. We should get going. These my clothes?”

Buffy didn’t answer. Her face was flushed and she was looking at him strangely. ‘ Oh my, Spike chest. Spike is in a towel ONLY. Oh God…”

“Pet?” He waved a hand right in front of her face and smirked when he saw her face get even redder.

Buffy squeaked.

“Uh… yeah… yeah! Your clothes are on the bed, and we have to get to the car by quarter ‘til 8. Okay?”

“Yeah, that’s fine.” Then Spike looked intently at her and raised an eyebrow.

“Buffy?”

“Uh?”

Spike’s smirk grew even more.

“Do you want to see my goodies or what, luv? Are you just going to stand there?”

Buffy ran out the room faster than he had ever seen.

Finally, the day was done!

The Cordy Show went fine, and as always, the girls in the audience screamed for him.

Cordy just laughed it off and they did their interview with lots of flirting and what not.

Not that Buffy cared.

Cordy was one of her best friends and she knew that Cordy knew that she was in love with him.

But then again, Cordy was always the flirt and the bitch, and always rubbing in peoples’ faces how great she was.

And she was.

Still, Cordy loved her friends and cared for them even though it sometimes didn’t show…

Anyways, after the show, Spike went on a couple more shows to promote his new movie, The Vampire’s Bride. Starring him and one of his old flames, Drusilla Kempton.

Not that Buffy was jealous… oh no… not a single way possible…

She sooo was not jealous of how Drusilla was always making out with Spike on the set and God knows what the two were doing because Spike had told a friend right in front of her that Dru and him were friends….

…. That is, friends with benefits.

And so what happened next?

Spike dismissed her for the day, which surprisingly was a little after noon, and went with his friends to party…

Probably all…

Night...

Long...

And probably with a bunch of hot supermodels…

Buffy shook her head and she hurried down to the café to meet Cordy and Willow.

***

She happily sighed glad the day was over and looked down at her watch.

‘Eek! God, why am I always late?! Today is such a sucky day!!’

She ran down the streets of L.A. and ran into her favorite café.

She nodded and greeted the hostess and waiters and almost ran into the table where Willow and Cordy sat.

“Hi guys! Sorry I’m late… today has been such a bad day.” With that, she slumped down onto her chair and put a hand over her eyes, suddenly aware of how tired she really was.

“It’s okay, Buff! Everyone has their bad days, if it makes you feel better, Cordy tripped today!”

Buffy eyed Willow and saw that she was wearing a jean knee length skirt and a off the shoulders peasant blouse. Sexy and cute.

“First of all, I did NOT trip, I just stumbled… WHICH is different! Hey! Why are you looking at me like that? Stilettos on some certain pavements don’t work!”

Buffy and Willow burst out laughing at Cordy’s rantings.

Cordy slouched back onto her seat, crossed her arms and glared at her two friends.

“At least I wasn’t the one who spilled her drink all over Oz’s new personal assistant!”

“What?! She was flirting and oogling at Oz, right in front of me, too! I had to do something…”

Buffy smiled and looked at her friends. How she loved them so much.

They had always been friends since they were babies, and had been so close and still were.

‘Wow! 21 years of being best friends!’

Though Cordy and Willow changed and most importantly- DEVELOPED, it didn’t seem to matter to them.

Willow.

Buffy sighed and smiled.

Willow was the smart, quirky one of their little trio. She had flaming red hair and large emerald green eyes.

Yep, definitely a head turner.

She was the perfect friend: fun and always knowing how to turn her frown upside down with double fudge ice cream and a movie.

Oh yeah, and did you know?

Willow was a celebrity girlfriend. The beloved soulmate to rocker Oz. And that was it- Oz. Oz, one of Spike’s closest friends, but

‘We’re not soo not talking about Spike!’

She stopped her fighting with herself and continued her inner monologue.

Now, on to Cordelia.

Otherwise known as Cordy, she was always the prissy, beautiful one. Long brown hair, and seductive brown eyes, she had a body that men would chase her for.

‘Did I mention, bitchy?”

Cordy was always the one that tossed the insults and was sarcastic. Always defending or either just wanted to piss off someone she hated.

Cordy was single now, but she knew that Cordy secretly had an eye for Xander.

Just to think that beautiful, sexy Cordy having the hots for dorky, funny Xander.

Buffy giggled and continued to have her little monologue…

***

Cordy sat back and watched Buffy daydream or whatever the hell she was doing.

She quickly became bored, stood up, leaned over the table and waved her hand rapidly in front of Buffy’s face.

“Buffy? Hello?”

Willow giggled.

Cordelia shrugged and then slowly, they both grinned.

“Plan B”

Willow covered her mouth with her hand trying to prevent the giggles that were trying to come out.

Cordelia, looking bored as always, sat back down and nonchalantly said:

“Willow! Oh god, SPIKE’S coming over to our table… I wonder why…”

That seemed to have worked and Buffy snapped out of her trance and frantically fixed her hair and looked around.

“Where? Do I look alright?”

She continued to look around until she saw Willow blue in the face and Cordelia smirking while looking down at her perfectly French-manicured nails.

Willow couldn’t take it anymore and she burst out laughing, tears of mirth leaking out of her eyes.

Buffy glared at them.

“That was mean! I’m not in the mood to eat now.”

“We’re sorry Buffy, but that’s the only thing that can get you to wake up when you start thinking…”

Willow continued to cry, wiping her eyes and giggling still.

Cordelia now had opened up her compact and was looking at the mirror.

“Buffy, don’t you think it’s time to TRY to win Spike’s heart?”

Buffy’s head turned to Cordelia.

“What do you mean?”

Cordy sighed and bought her compact back into her purse.

“When Spike was doing my show today, you kept looking at him… again! God, Buffy you’ve been doing this for a couple of years now! It’s time you do something about it!”

Buffy blushed and stuttered.

“W-w-what?! Are you kidding me? How am I going to do that?!”

Cordy turned to Willow.

“Willow, it’s time we take our Buffy shopping.”

***

A/N: Whew! That was a pretty long chapter… for me, that is. Hope it was worth your time for waiting! Review, and be kind! *wink* Chapter 3, 4, and 5 is coming up soon! I had a lot of time on my hands this weekend with the hurricane and what not… My thanks to Bebe!

Chapter Three- First, the Salon

Buffy’s eyes widened.

“W-what?!”

Cordy rolled her eyes and looked at Buffy as if she was a total idiot.

“You heard me. It’s time we take you to the mall. You know, the place where people buy clothes and other things?”

Buffy continued to sputter.

“Cordy! I don’t want to! I don’t want Spike noticing me!” ‘Yes, I do!’ Buffy thought.

Willow smiled and reassuringly patted Buffy on the shoulder.

“Yes, you do, Buffy. We’ve seen you fawn over him when you do your job. We’ve seen your eyes water and tear up when Spike has his arms around another girl. We’ve seen you stare at him dreamily whenever he’s looking away, and when he turns back, you blush. We’ve seen you, Buffy. And Cordy and I think it’s time to do something.”

Buffy looked down and sniffed.

“Well… I gues-“

Cordy got up and put her hands on the table.

“That settles it, then! Off to the mall!”

With that, Willow and Cordy grabbed one of Buffy’s arms, tugged her out of her chair, dragging her to the exit.

Buffy shrieked and dug her heels in the ground, hoping that this nightmare would end.

“Guys! What about lunch?!”

***

It was an awfully funny site to see Willow Rosenburg and Cordelia Chase dragging a mousy girl across the street.

Onlookers chuckled and their expressions full of amusement and the make it even worse, the paparazzi were there, snapping shots, not at the mousy girl, but at the two beauties dragging her.

Buffy felt like dying and looked at Cordy and Willow and saw that they didn’t even notice the people watching them.

They just kept dragging her and dragging her…

…until they reached Cordy’s limo waiting for them.

And the limo drove.

Cordy and Willow talked by themselves, leaving Buffy crossing her arms and pouting all the way.

She didn’t even notice the two talking and giggling at her.

After a couple of minutes, the vehicle finally stopped and Buffy took a deep breath.

Willow and Cordy shared a smiled and simultaneously turned to look at Buffy.

Buffy groaned and closed her eyes.

‘Mall, here I come!’

When she felt that her feet were safely on the ground and that the girls had let go of her, Buffy opened her eyes.

And there before her eyes was…

A salon?

Buffy looked questionably at Willow, who just shrugged.

She then looked at Cordy who was smirking at her.

“Buffy… the first thing to a makeover is grooming. My dear, you are truly in need of one! This salon is for all the rich and famous people like Willow and me, and they would never let someone like you enter, but…

Buffy ’s eyes narrowed. ‘She can always make me feel so much better…’

“… But, my friend owns the place and I’m sure she would allow it. And if she didn’t, I would be sure to have used blackmail… Come now, it is time for you to look beautiful!”

Cordy pushed Buffy through the doors where Buffy was sure hell would begin…

***

And hell did begin.

Cordy’s friend Glory was a monster and bitch… but she was gorgeous too.

Glory had refused to let Buffy enter, but with one of Cordy’s glares, she reluctantly let her through.

Cordy pushed Buffy to a group of men and women dressed in black and Buffy suddenly felt frightened.

As if Cordy knew what Buffy was thinking, she smiled and explained.

“These group of people, Buffy, are highly known stylists, make-up artists, and some other people who will guide you through the land of beauty.”

Cordy then turned to the stylists.

“Now, this will be a big project. As you can see, Buffy has never done anything like this and she wants to impress someone. So, are we ready?”

The group smiled and nodded.

“Great! Willow and I will be in the massage room, and we’ll come back in a couple of hours to look at your finished result. Have fun, Buffy!”

Once again, Willow smiled reassuringly and waved.

“It won’t be so bad, Buffy. Cordy did this to me, too… you remember! You’ll be fine… love you!”

With her last words, Cordy had linked her arms with hers and they walked off together to the spa center in the salon.

Buffy sighed.

Her last hope was gone and then she turned around.

Bad mistake.

The worst she ever made, in fact.

The same group of stylists looked hungrily at her and then they pounced.

***

Cordy, in her robe and facemask, walked out of the spa room, and into the room where Buffy was being pampered.

Or tortured.

Which way, it didn’t matter. She just wanted to check on Buffy’s progress.

Before she even made it into the room, she heard Buffy’s shrieks.

“Ouch! Stop waxing, and stop plucking… ouch, ouch it hurts!”

“AHHHHHHHHHHH!”

“What are you gonna do with that thing?”

Pause.

“Apply it on my eyelashes? No way in hell! You’re gonna poke me with it and my eye will turn blac- AHH! Please, it hurts! Stop waxing!”

Cordy chuckled and walked back the massage room.

When she got there, Willow looked up from her magazine.

“Is Buffy alright?”

Cordy smiled.

“She’s doing fine. Just fine.”

***

Buffy felt numb.

Her face was all numb.

And she felt all numb, herself.

Anya, the eyebrow artist and her helpers, plucked and waxed like a monster. Never stopping to let Buffy calm down.

Andrew, the make-up artist, put so much makeup on, that she prayed it was worth it, or else he would be in BIG trouble.

Amy, the waxer and her helpers, waxed her legs. And waxed and waxed, until Buffy thought she would never have hair on her legs again.

Tara, the hair stylist, was probably the only person who actually CARED how she felt. Tara had done something nice to her hair; Buffy knew that for sure, because Tara was that kind of a person who knew how to make everyone’s hair beautiful.

And Kennedy and her helper, some guy named Robin, did her nails and toes. They said it was some kind of French manicure and pedicure.

When they completed their task, they let Buffy turn around and look at herself in the mirror.

And she thought she looked great.

Now, she was waiting for Willow and Cordy’s response…

Finally she heard the clicking of shoes, no wait- stilettos, and knew it was her friends.

The door swung open and she heard twin gasps.

“Oh-“

“My-“

“GOD!”

The two girls ran up to Buffy, talking at the same time and touching her face and hair.

Buffy smiled, maybe this was for the better.

***

They were in shock.

Their Buffy, mousy Buffy… looked…

…Looked GORGEOUS.

Her newly done eyebrows looked so natural on her face.

Andrew had certainly done a good job for her eyes looked greener, and eyelashes longer, thanks to lots of mascara, and light shimmer eye shadow he used.

Her lips were pink and glossy, and were pouty and full. When she smiled, they opened to reveal perfect teeth that they were able to notice for sure.

And her hair!

It was now conditioned and shiny, a beautiful shade of gold and it came down with waves, framing her face.

She was a new person and she knew that Spike would be knocked off his feet at the site of her!

The three of them squealed and hugged each other.

Buffy finally settled down and told them as a matter-of-factly

“Tara said that my hair could either be straight or like this and both would work well on me.”

Cordy smiled in approval and said, “Kennedy did a good job on your nails. They’re just like mine- French.”

Willow was just as happy.

“And look! Your legs are smooth so now you don’t have to cover them anymore!”

Buffy was now very happy.

“Girls, I think it’s time to go shopping now.”

Cordy and Willow looked at her with wide eyes.

Cordy grinned.

“Did I just hear Buffy say she wanted to shop?”

Buffy laughed.

“Yep! This is the new me, and I am so damn ready!”

The three girls linked arms and stepped into the limo that Cordy had called.

“Shopping… here I come!”

***

A/N: Yea! I finished another chapter! I hope this was longer… hehe… until then… Review! And my thanks to Bebe!

Chapter Four- At the Mall

Buffy smiled.

She now felt confident and with Willow and Cordy to help her, she felt as if she was on top of the world.

They finally reached the premium mall, where Cordy and Willow both took out their credit cards and smiled.

“Let’s shop!”

Cordy led Willow and Buffy to Victoria’s Secret.

Buffy paused.

“Cordy? Willow? What are we doing here?”

Willow rolled her eyes.

“Buffy! By makeover we meant from underwear to hair and to clothes. The whole package! Plus, I know you wear the type of underwear meant for grannies so we’re getting you some sexy lingerie!”

Buffy blushed, but allowed them to lead her into the boutique.

Once inside, Cordy and Willow flung everything from negligees, thongs, push-up bras, corsets and everything into Buffy’s arms.

Cordy shoved Buffy into a dressing room.

“We know you have a body, but you always wear the baggy stuff so we never see it. Try these things on, and remember, no matter what, we’re buying them and throwing out all that other crap in your dressing room.”

Buffy laughed and went in.

Minutes later, they heard a shriek.

“You can see my ass cheeks in this! And my boobs are popping out! This is not what I call sexy!”

She quickly dressed and came back out, her face red.

“I-“

Willow cut in.

“It is sexy and it’s supposed to be revealing. It’s what guys like, and I’m sure it’s what Spike will REALLY like. Get used to it, no more granny panties and now you’ll be wearing these babies.”

Willow picked up a small thong.

Buffy finally nodded her head and gave in, Willow grinned.

“Good. Let’s go buy.”

***

The next stop was clothes.

And again, when Cordy and Willow found the right sizes for Buffy, they flung jeans, shorts, skirts, dresses, shirts, tube tops, baby tees, tank tops, and some other clothes into a stall and threw Buffy inside as well.

One after another, Buffy stepped out to show off an outfit.

“Willow? Are these jeans supposed to be like this? And is this top supposed to see the shape of my boobs?!”

She was unused to tight, low rise-jeans, and tight shirts but Cordy and Willow reassured her that she looked hot.

And she felt like it too, because they made her wear one of her new wonder bras and thongs.

Buffy, Cordy and Willow went to every store buying almost everything in it for Buffy.

And occasionally they bought things for themselves as well.

Buffy felt good.

Real good.

She had changed into a pair of low-rise, tight fitting jeans with a one-shoulder tank top.

‘Hot mama, here I come!’

When they completed the clothes section, the three hot ladies went to shoes.

***

It was the same thing, once again.

Shoes were thrown:

Stilettos, sandals, flip-flops, high heels, and everything stylish that they could find for Buffy.

Cordy made sure, there was not a single pair of sneakers except those cute high heels/stilettos in the form of sneakers…

And of course, shoes are everything for girls, and Willow and Cordy each bought a dozen pairs for themselves.

Buffy shook her head…

‘God! I’m becoming a shop-a-holic like one of them. Lord save me!’

***

Buffy sat tiredly on one of the benches by the eatery in the mall.

Although SHE thought they were finished, Cordy and Willow thought otherwise.

Cordy informed a exhausted Buffy.

“Buffy! Ever heard the saying ‘Diamonds are a girl’s best friend’? Well it is, we we’re gonna go look for jewelry. And oh yea! We have to buy accessories and make-up products and other beauty things so you can keep what you have now.”

Buffy groaned.

“But I don’t wan-“

Willow and Cordy glared.

“YOU ARE GOING TO! GOT IT?!”

Buffy backed away, holding her hands up.

“Alright, alright. You win…”

***

After the shopping spree, Willow invited the girls to her and Oz’s home to spend the night.

When they reached the couch, they three of them plopped onto it and slumped back, tired from the spree.

Buffy looked at the clock and realized that they skipped dinner and it was already 9.

The girls went into the kitchen to find something to eat.

Willow explained where Oz was.

“He called over while we were shopping and left a message saying he and they boys were pulling an all-nighter at Spike’s.”

Buffy’s head raised, her now perfect eyebrows arched.

“Spike?”

Cordy smiled.

“Yes, Spike. I can’t wait for when you go to work tomorrow!” How he will drool and wonder where old Buffy’s gone.”

Buffy laughed.

“Old Buffy is gone forever and this new babe is here for good!”

Willow took some chilled champagne out of the fridge and took out some flutes.

“Cheers?”

Cordy and Buffy nodded eagerly.

“Cheers!”

They drank until Buffy couldn’t drink anymore, knowing she would have a splitting headache in the morning if she had anymore.

Willow and Cordy kept drinking, having more of a steel bladder than Buffy had when it came to alcohol.

For the whole night, they planned what Buffy would wear tomorrow…

… how her hair would be….

… how her makeup was done…

… what kind of underwear…

Buffy giggle at that, ‘Just in case…’

… what kind of shoes…

… and a bunch of other plans…

Buffy finally smiled, satisfied that now there was a good chance that Spike would notice her…

The three girls finally fell asleep, all sleeping on the humongous bed in the guestroom.

All dreaming of what would happen tomorrow.

Chapter Five- The New, Improved Me

Buffy was woken up by a frantic Willow.

“Buffy! It’s almost time to go, Cordy is already in the bathroom with the makeup. Hurry!”

Buffy yelped and ran into the bathroom where Cordy was waiting with a mess of cosmetics on the counter.

Buffy stood there as Cordy fixed up her face, and Willow styled her hair.

A couple of minutes went by and Cordy and Willow were able to make Buffy perfect again and shoved her back into the guestroom where the clothes planned out from last night were laid out.

Buffy quickly dressed and ran out the door with her stuff and also with two quickly beautified ladies on her heels.

The chaffeur drove them as quickly as he could to Spike’s estate where they dropped off Buffy.

Cordy grabbed Buffy before she could run to the front door.

“Remember to call from wherever you are today so you can tell us what happens. And if you don’t call at all, we’ll know that you two did the dirty deed.”

With that, the limo sped off, leaving a flustered Buffy behind.

Buffy looked at her watch and nearly yelped when she saw it was past 7:10.

She was 10 minutes late!

‘Not again, not again… No, no no!’

Buffy ran around the big house and tried to get inside, but security wouldn’t let her in.

The security guard, Riley looked at her and shook his head.

“I’m sorry, miss. No one is allowed on this property without permission from the owner. Please leave! And how did you get in here! This is a highly watched neighborhood!”

Buffy’s eyes widened when she realized that he didn’t recognize her.

“Riley! It’s me, Buffy! Here I have my I.D.!”

Riley looked shock.

“Buffy? That’s you? Wow, you’ve changed. And for the better to say in the least.”

Buffy blushed.

“Thanks, so can I get in now? Spike will have my head if I’m late!”

Riley nodded and opened the gates.

“Have a nice day, Buffy.”

“You too, Riley!”

And Riley watched Buffy speed up the driveway and into Spike’s home.

‘Damn, she’s fine.’

***

Buffy waved at Jonathan, the other assistant, and slowly crept upstairs with her clipboard in hand, nervously walking towards Spike’s room.

She then remembered what Willow said about the guy’s night at Spike’s house.

She slowly reached his room, and turned the knob.

But before she could turn it even more, Spike opened the door and stepped out of his room.

She watched as he looked at her and frowned.

“Who the bloody hell are you, and how did you get in here?”

“Spike? It’s me… I’m sorry I’m late. I spent that night at a friend’s house.”

Spike looked down at the girl and a look of recognition passed before his face.

“Buffy?!”

She smiled shyly.

“Yea, it’s me… I guess you could say I changed quite a bit.”

“A bit’s not enough, luv.”

He leered at her.

Buffy felt her cheeks heat up.

“I’ll be downstairs waiting for you. You’re doing TRL today and the flight to New York is in a couple of hours. Hurry and wake up the other people who stayed the night. Jonathan said he packed your things already. Just get ready, okay?”

Buffy didn’t wait for his reply and sped down the stairs.

***

Spike had just awaken from his sleep with a splitting headache.

All he remembered was partying and kissing a bunch of other girls, and he wondered why he hadn’t taken any to his bed.

‘Funny.’

He had gotten out of bed and opened the door to find a blonde beauty about to turn the knob.

She was beautiful.

Blonde hair that was parted off the one side of her head and fell down her back, sooty long eyelashes that gave way to large green eyes, and pink lips that were just begging to be nibbled.

By him.

And what she was wearing made him hard and made him wanting her.

A jean, low-rise mini-skirt that reached mid-thigh and showed off her long, smooth legs, and a pink and white horizontally striped off-the-shoulder shirt revealing sun-kissed shoulders.

The shirt was loose but clung to the right curves and tightened at the hip with an attached sash.

He looked down at her feet and saw that she was wearing those sneaker stilettos that were getting popular these days. And it matched; they were bloody pink and white.

But then when he asked her who she was, she said she was Buffy.

Buffy.

Mousy Buffy who he had just seen the day before.

What the bloody hell?

***

Buffy nervously paced in the lobby.

‘God, was that a good reaction? He just looked at me funny…’

Buffy heard footsteps and immediately looked up to find Spike dressed in a black muscle tank and sweatpants.

She nearly drooled.

She could his well defined abs and muscles underneath this shirt and his arms…

‘HOT!’

And the black sweatpants were riding low on his hips and she could see the wide, elastic band of his boxers, which was also black.

And then she wiped the saliva off her mouth.

‘I guess I did drool then.’

“Okay, let’s get going, Spike. I just called off the driver a couple of minutes ago, and you know how Adam gets when you’re not on time… and when you piss him off, but you didn’t need to know that.”

Spike didn’t say a thing and just looked at her, his head tilting.

“Buffy, pet… is that really you?”

Buffy blushed.

“Yeah, Willow and Cordy helped me and I think they did a good job.”

She paused and then using Cordy’s advice about flirting, she folded her hands together, looked down and then back up at him, and boldly asked.

“Don’t you?”

Spike’s eyes widened in shock.

Buffy never had been this open or social.

But he smirked and kept his cool.

“A bloody wonderful job. Such a nice change, could have done it earlier, though.”

Buffy’s forehead scrunched.

“Why?”

Spike started stalking towards her, his eyes had a predatory gleam in them.

Buffy gulped.

“Spike?”

He continued to walk up to her until Buffy felt her back reach the wall.

“If you turned yourself into the this lovely girl earlier, I would have able to have done this.”

With that, he swooped in and slammed his mouth against hers.

Buffy stood still in shock, not knowing really how to kiss.

She felt him running his hands over her body…

… and squeezing her ASS!

‘Whoa… Hey! I liked that!’

And then she felt him running his fingers through her hair and then finally landing on her waist.

Buffy moaned and then tentatively kissed back and opened her mouth.

She suddenly felt his tongue push into her mouth and curiously used her tongue as well.

She heard Spike groan and smiled in the kiss.

They continued to kiss until they heard Adam honking in the limo.

Buffy looked away and blushed.

“Well, I’ll just get your things, and yea! I’ll just go now…”

She felt Spike’s eyes burning a hole through her, ‘And my ass…’ ,she thought, as she walked away.

***

The whole car ride was filled with tension and Buffy was nervously wringing her hands.

She made sure she was sitting across from him and looked out the window.

Finally, Buffy couldn’t take it anymore.

“Spike?”

“Yea, luv?”

Buffy blushed, looking down.

“Was I good?”

Spike look dumbfounded.

“’Scuse me, luv?

Buffy giggled, and Spike thought it was music to his ears.

‘I’m started to think like a bloody pounce! And just for one girl that I gave a little kiss…and who’s making your heart start pounding, liking nothing you’ve ever felt before.’

‘Bloody hate this.’

Buffy looked down again, hiding her beautiful face.

“You know, kissing. I’ve never done it before…”

Spike, once again, looked at her in shock.

“What? Never?”

At Buffy’s affirmative nod, he continued.

“My luv, you kiss like a pro. And I’m very, very proud to be your first… kiss. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I’m hoping we’ll do it soon. Like NOW.”

Buffy looked up sharply.

“Huh?”

She saw Spike unbuckle himself from his seat and moved towards her seat.

He grabbed her and once again they started kissing.

He pulled her up so she was sitting in his lap, and to his good luck her skirt started riding up.

He slowly moved his hand, which was resting on her knee, and moved it closer up to THAT spot.

Buffy noticed, and reluctantly broke the kiss.

“Hey! Even though that felt good, that’s saved for my husband!”

Spike frowned.

“You’re getting married?”

She blushed.

“No, but I’m meaning when I do get one, that privelige is for him, and him only.”

Spike didn’t hide his disappointment, but moved his hand back to her knee.

He tightened his grip around her waist.

“Well luv, I guess we can still snog, no?”

“What’s a snog?”

“This…”

And he dove back in again.

Buffy giggled and they continued to ‘snog’ the rest of the way to the airport.

***

They were abruptly stopped, when Adam honked the horn to alert them of their destination.

Spike let Buffy out of the limo first, then got out himself, and threw an arm around her shoulders.

Buffy looked surprised.

“Spike?”

He didn’t answer.

Maybe he thought it was a fling.

She felt tears come to her eyes but she swallowed them back down, not wanting Spike to see them.

She had to know…

She just had too…
