Part 1
The Phone Call

Buffy walked up the stairs to her bedroom. She was angry about the confrontation she had earlier that evening. She took off her clothes and slid into her Yummy Sushi PJs and crawled into her bed. Buffy was upset about a boy and did what any normal girl would do, called her best friend.

"Hi Willow, I need to talk."

"I did the uninvited spell like you wanted me to. How did it go with the whole Spike thing?" She asked.

"He said that he would kill Dru for me, like that would impress me." Buffy said. "With a stake up to her chest, he didn't do it though."

"Drusilla's in town? Anyway, as a Slayer, you should cheer at the potential death of a dangerous and psychotic vamp." Willow replied.

"He wanted it to be noble and cool in a Sid and Nancy way." Buffy said. "I wish he didn't love me, it makes me feel all dirty."

"You have no control over what Spike thinks or feels, he might have misplaced feelings, but it shouldn't let it get to you." Willow said as she sipped a glass of water.

"Why do I attract demons? Why couldn't it be male models or veterinarians?" Buffy asked. "This whole Spike thing is freaking me out."

"Buff, you can't blame yourself for being attractive." Willow said with encouragement. "Spike is just ultra horny, you know he dated Harmony, a sure sign of an overactive libido."

Buffy laughed. "You're probably right it's like, but I can't look at him, ever again, like-too weird."

"You know he is sort of cute-minus the fangs and my gayness." Willow said into the telephone.

"Do you realize that look went out with Billy Idol's career?" Buffy replied.

"Come on, admit that he is kinda sexy, good cheekbones, killer body." Willow prodded. "He is a killer, but you know I meant killer body metaphorically."

"He smokes too much, drinks whiskey and blood and - ok he does have a nice body-in serious need of a makeover." Buffy said.

"I got a great idea-let's call one of those makeover shows and have them redo Spike." Willow suggested.

"Like he would ever go for it-he thinks he is so damn cool. Plus those shows can't change a personality - that would take a lobotomy. Do you think he will ever change?" Buffy questioned.

"Well, stranger things have happened, you were engaged." Willow joked.

"Ha ha ha-Will, I have to go to sleep, I have an early class in the morning. " Buffy said. "Good night."

"Good night, pleasant dreams of naked Spike." Willow laughed as she slammed down the phone with a giggle.

"Willow!" Buffy hung up her phone and tried to sleep.

2
The New Classmate

Buffy walked into her class in Carter Hall on the UC Sunnydale campus. The course was Classic and Modern Poetry 105. She sat in the same seat every day, the fourth row and the second seat. No one usually sat on either side of her. Buffy opened her pink backpack and pulled out her books. When she turned around someone was in the seat next to her.

"Buffy, fancy meeting you're here, pet." Spike said in his familiar accent.

"You're stalking me now?" Buffy asked.

Spike replied. "No, poetry has always been a hobby of mine, I'm thinking about taking this class."

"Isn't there a night class? It would be less flammable." She suggested.

"My muse is slaying vampires at night, I need inspiration." He spoke with a sly smirk.

"Is getting uninvited from my home, not a big enough hint for ya?" Buffy retorted.

"I bloody just came her to apologize, about my obnoxious and obsessive behavior, I just thought you should know, how I truly feel." Spike said. "and if it came out wrong, I---."

Buffy interrupted. "Spike, leave me alone."

Just then the professor walked in to the classroom, and put his supplies down on the desk. He looked up at the class. "It seems we have a new student, would you like to introduce yourself to the group?"

Spike stood up awkwardly and addressed the class. "Well, um, my name is William and I am a good friend of Buffy's," As he pat her on the head and Buffy rolled her eyes at him. "She thought that I would like this class, so I thought I would check it out." He sat back down.

"That is good." The professor replied. "An interest in poetry is a sign of a good soul. Do you write poetry or are you just an avid reader?"

"I have been writing, for it seems like about 100 years or more." Spike said as Buffy glared at him sharply.

Spike sat down and the professor proceeded to start class. "O.k. lets continue where we left off last week-Oscar Wilde was one of the most interesting literary figures of the Victorian age...."

Spike whispered, "You know Dru wanted to sire Oscar Wilde, this one time we were at this party with Angelus and Darla and . . .

Buffy put her head on her desk and sighed in desperation.

3
The Caffeinated Wish

Buffy was walking to the Magic Box, for Slayer training with Giles. She decided to stop and the Espresso Pump for some coffee buzz, since she didn't sleep well the night before, with images of Spike dancing in her head. The little coffee shop was packed. She had to wait in line and began chatting with a woman with curly dark brown hair.

"Looks like you are having a bad day?" The young woman said to her. "Is it man troubles?"

Buffy replied, "isn't it always."

The woman laughed. "Come to think about it, you are right, men are evil."

"I think the man, I'm having issues with is more evil than anyone you have ever met." Buffy said.

"Wanna bet?" The woman asked.

Buffy was the next one to order. "A small raspberry latte." And with that, the clerk quickly went to steam up her milk.

"My name is Hallie, do you want to sit with me and talk?"

"Sure, and my name is Buffy." She extended her hand for a shake.

After the drinks were made and paid for the two ladies sat down at a table.

"So what has this guy done wrong?" Hallie asked.

"Well, he loves me obsessively, totally devoted to me, and it makes me sick."

"Come on! I though he was a cheater or a liar, or a bastard." Hallie said as she sipped her cappuccino.

"Spike is all those things, plus--fashion emergency, lives in a damp cryp-crib, is poor, unsuccessful at everything he does. He's also a horny slacker with an obnoxious personality, plus the evil with the grr, arrgh." Buffy ranted. "Do I have to continue?"

"No, but some find bad boys very sexy." Hallie said.

"Did I mention the black nail polish?" Buffy asked.

Hallie replied. "No. But don't you ever wish that he was never born, that his guts would leak out of his ears, something gruesome?" Buffy thought to herself that this woman reminded her of Anya in a strange, yet undefined way.

"Not particularly, the man has no redeeming qualities." Buffy said defiantly. "I wish that he was Mr. Right, the perfect man, just anything but Spike."

"Done!" Hallie said as her face morphed into a vengeance demon.

"Buffy said, "vengeance demon? I shoulda known."

"How you know of my kind of justice demon?" Hallie asked.

"I'm friends with Anya, I mean, Anyanka." Buffy said. "Plus, I am the Slayer."

"Is this Spike guy a vampire? "

"Yea, he is one of those." Buffy confessed.

"Do you mean William the Bloody? I know him. He is known as a great lover throughout the underworld. Anyway, I gotta run, tell Anyanka, hello from me. Good bye thanks for doing business with me." She said and instantly disappeared.

Buffy gulped down the rest of her coffee, threw it in the trashcan and walked to the Magic Box, wondering if her wish had really worked.

4
The Socks and the Stud

"Anya, these socks are stupid, and in no way enchanted." Giles said as he slipped a neon green sock onto his foot.

"The product description says that the green socks will bring you lots of money and the hot pink ones bring you lots of orgasms." Anya replied. "I think that I will purchase both kinds."

"They look silly, I don't think we should stock these in the store." He said.

Anya responded. "I will test them and if they work, we shall sell them and increase profits for our humble establishment."

"Fine, please just don't tell me about the orgasms." Giles said with a grimace.

"Oh look! They have another great feature, they don't get lost in the washing machine or that pesky dryer." She said as she held up the pink socks.

"Thank goodness for small miracles." Giles joked sarcastically.

Just then the bell on the Magic Box door rang as Buffy walked in. "Hi, you guys, Giles those are, um-a really stylin' socks." Giles instantly proceeded to put back on his normal argyle socks.

"Buffy, you don't understand, these are enchanted socks that improves the quality of life in this dimension." Anya explained.

"Speaking of other alternative realities, I ran into a friend of yours," Buffy said, "Hallie, I think her name was."

"You mean Halfrek? You didn't say the word 'wish' around her, did you?" She asked.

"Well, maybe something about Spike, my little peroxide vampire pest." Buffy replied.

"Excuse me," Giles said. "I'm confused."

"Well you know Spike is an annoying British vampire with bleach blonde hair and has a sick and twisted crush on me."

Anya responded bluntly, "Buffy are you crazy? Because Spike is not a vampire and his hair is blonde, but not bleached. And I thought you were the one with a little schoolgirl crush on him."

"No," Buffy answered.

"Anya, is correct, as much as I hate to admit it." Giles hesitantly spoke. "Spike will be here for your training session and this can all be cleared up."

"I train with Spike?" Buffy asked.

"Yes, every day for the past five years, since you moved to Sunnydale." Giles said with a worried look on his face. "He is your watcher."

"Giles not everyday," Anya reminded. "That one time when he stayed in New York for like three weeks for that giant business merger, the one that made him not just a millionaire, but a billionaire."

"Spike is rich?" Buffy questioned. "And a watcher?"

"Yes, he has wrote many books and owns a publishing company." Anya said. "I would be dating him, if Xander and I weren't so full of love and sex."

The bell on the front door and Spike walked in. At first Buffy didn't recognize him. His hair was slightly darker than normal and he had a tan. Buffy thought he looked like a friggin' Ken doll. Spike also seemed taller to Buffy, it could have been from the improved posture. He wore a light blue dress shirt, with the top two buttons open and he looked good, really good, so sauve. The shirt brought out his innocent and shiny blue eyes. He wore navy blue dress pants that hung in all the right places. Buffy wanted him sexually at that very moment-Giles and Anya be damned.

"Buffy, is something wrong?" Spike asked as he smiled in a sweet and enduring way.

"Uh, ah, no," She said as the lump grew in the back of her throat. "Not at all."

"Oh, I am not in my training clothes, I just had a meeting that ran long, I am going to change in the back room." He said. "I know you hate it to miss your training." Spike put his briefcase down, and walked to the back of the magic shop.

The former vampire turned around, "Rupert, I think I found that missing demon text, you were looking for. This will help us, repel Glory, I hope."

Giles said, "Buffy, did you hit your head? I am terribly worried about you."

"No it was too much coffee." She replied. "Just jumpy, full of jump."

"Now it is almost time for the best part." Anya said with a sly smile.

"Best part?" Buffy questioned.

Anya answered. "Yep, when Spike comes out-without his shirt on."

The door creaked and Spike stepped out of the door with gray sweatpants and his tanned six pack exposed. Anya began to drool shamelessly. "Yummy, yum, give me some."

Spike heard her comment. "Anya, I don't mind that you find me appealing, you are quite a knock-out yourself, but you and Xander have a great thing going, and I'm in a serious relationship as well, don't jeopardize it because of your hormones."

Buffy was confused. "Who was Spike dating?" She thought to herself.

"Buffy dear, are you ready to train?" Spike asked.

"Well, yea," She replied, starring at his golden physique and instinctively licking her lips.

Spike grabbed Buffy's hand. "Come on then, let's go."

5
The Boxing and the Boinking

Buffy went straight to the punching bag and began to let her aggression out.

"Are we forgetting something, Buffy?" He asked.

"What?" She replied.

"We always warm up first, don't get impatient and pull a muscle." He said in Spike's voice, but it really wasn't him.

"Right, I just am not myself today." Buffy said.

"I've noticed." Spike agreed. "I know you better than you know yourself, sometimes."

Buffy smiled. This new guy smelt better, like clean department store cologne, and not leather, blood, alcohol and tobacco. This new guy was sexy, for a watcher. She thought to herself.

Buffy sat on the floor to view his every move and imitated all of the stretching exercises he completed. As she enjoyed the eye candy of his muscular body contorted in semi-erotic positions.

"After the warm-up, should we spar today, or go for a run?" He questioned. "Remember, Friday is always Slayer choice day."

Buffy thought what we have a strict schedule? "I guess we should spar." She said as they continued to stretch.

Spike put his foot behind his head to stretch out. "This one's Cordelia's favorite."

"What?" Buffy asked and looked at him quizzically.

"This stretching exercise, Cordy really likes this one." Spike said.

Buffy tried to remember, the last time Cordelia and Spike had contact, was when she was impaled in the factory after Xander and Willow were kissing hostages. She may have saw him in L.A. chasing the Gem of Amara.

"But, isn't she in L.A. working for Angel?" Buffy inquired.

"You're bloody kidding right?" Spike replied. "Angelus is dust, you staked him and I staked Drusilla, before they summoned Acathla, the whole hell sucking thing. Remember?"

"Ok, well yea," she said, "it rings a bell."

"That would have never happened if, you would have listened to my speech about pre-martial sex." Spike lectured. "Angel, would have never of tried to end the world, if you… well you know."

"Sorry, what do you mean?" She asked.

"Sex with Angel, turned him evil, I know I warned you about having sex with a demon." Spike said. "Damn those out of control teenaged hormones."

"We were in love." She uttered weakly.

"Let's drop it, this it is water under the bridge, Buffy." He said as he chastely kissed her forehead.

She responded. "Ok, I will never talk to you about this again."

"Grab your gloves, let's box." He tossed the boxing gloves to Buffy.

When they were fighting it seemed like old times, fighting with the old Spike. The Spike that she was constantly annoyed with. The Spike that tried to kill her when he first moved to Sunnydale. The Spike that would undress her with his eyes. "I like this Spike better, I should like him better, this guy is so sexy and not gross," she thought as she through a punch into his gorgeous face.

6
The Bizarre-O Scoobies

Buffy and Spike walked out of the training room and sitting at the round table in the Magic Box where; Xander, Anya, Willow, Tara, Cordelia, and Riley. Buffy eyed Spike's chest as he wiped the sweat off with a clean white towel.

"You two coming out of there all hot and sweaty, it doesn't look good." Cordelia joked.

"Riley, don't get too jealous, now." Xander added with a trademark smirk.

Spike went right over to Cordy and gave her a passionate kiss, "You know I would never cheat on you, pet."

"Where's Giles?" Buffy asked to get her mind off of the previous lip lock.

"He went to pick up Dawn from school, since your Mom is out of town, and we all have dates." Riley said.

Buffy thought that Riley had left her for that military demon hunting mission, but he wouldn't have left if the real Spike wouldn't have let her seen him getting a fang job from a vampire whore.

Xander asked, "Spike are you still going to cook that wonderful meal, you have been promising?"

"What is it then---blood and wheatabix for all?" Buffy asked unintentionally forgetting about the alternative world she now inhabited.

"Buffy, you have been slaying vampires for way to long," Willow joked.

Xander chimed in. "No, the Buffinator, just needed to get a laugh, you know how much Spike hates vampires, and she was just making with the funny.

"And it wasn't humorous." Anya added.

"She has had a rough day, just give Buffy a break." Spike defended her instead of offering another rude remark. "She deserves to be treated with more respect."

"Spike, what time do you want us to be at your apartment for the dinner party?" Tara asked and smiled sweetly.

"We want everyone there at seven, and William has a big surprise for everyone, he won't even tell me." Cordelia said with enthusiasm.

Buffy thought to herself, "naked twister at his crypt or the Passions drinking game?"

"We always have fun at Spike's apartment." Xander said. "Remember, the Superbowl party of '99?"

"Yea, that was a great one." Spike recalled. "When Oz got totally wasted, and sang that love song to Faith."

Everyone laughed except Buffy.

Anya added. "And that funny thing with the orange soda, GO Broncos!"

Willow laughed, "And then Buffy passed out and drooled in Spike's lap." More giggles erupted in the room.

"Little Spittle Spuffy?" Xander said with a wicked smile.

Buffy freaked out, "I need to go home and get ready."

"I will drive you home." Riley said.

"Hey Finn, just don't hit my Beemer." Spike joked in a soft way. "It just got a new paint job."

Buffy walked out holding Riley's hand as they walked to the door.

"See ya at seven." Cordelia reminded.

"We will be there." Buffy said has she waved to the bizarre-o scoobies and then whispered under her breath. "Before, I take some anti-psychotic drugs."

7
The Drive

Riley honked the horn of his jeep and Buffy ran out of her house. Riley got out of his seat and opened the passenger door for Buffy.

"Thanks," she said as she proceeded to enter the car.

"What no kiss?" Riley asked in a hurt tone of voice.

"Oh sorry," Buffy stated as she gave him a little peck on the cheek. "I've been distracted lately."

Riley ran around to the driver side and began to drive to Spike's house.

"Buffy, what has been with you lately?" He asked. "You seem detached.

"W-well, I don't know, Riley do you think we are drifting apart? Buffy inquired.

Buffy knew that he was getting vamp sucked, but did the whole Spike dynamic throw things off, she wondered.

"No, baby, it just seems like you think of someone else when we are together. He said. "I'm I not enough for you?"

"Yes--I mean no, you are a great, boyfriend, but you are becoming distant, and jealous." Buffy said, unaware if it was true in this alternative universe.

"I know, that you have a little crush on Spike. Is there anything to be jealous of--between you two?" He asked.

"No, you know he is a perfect gentleman." Buffy said. "Why do people think that I am in love with him?"

"But, Buffy is your heart true to me?" Riley questioned earnestly. "You moan his name in your sleep."

"What?" Buffy was embarrassed, squirming in her seat. "Maybe its a dream about training--or something."

"It is the something that I worry about." He confessed.

Buffy grabbed his right forearm to look for bite marks and noticed 2 puncture like marks, fresh scabs. "What are these? The look a vamp was here."

"It was Kitty Fantastico, when we were over at Willow's and Tara's." He replied. Buffy instantly knew it was a lie. Honest mister Finn, couldn't tell a fib to save the world.

Buffy sat quietly, and caught herself dreaming of what Spike was going to look like tonight. She thought of sneaky ways of touching his bare flesh, she needed him like heroin, or what she heard it would be like to be a junkie.

"Buffy, snap out of it." Riley yelled. "We are almost there."

Buffy looked out and noticed that they were in the wealthy part of Sunnydale. The jeep pulled in front of the most expensive apartments in town. These plush suites were the envy of people from miles around. Meadow Park Plaza was infamous for the plush interiors. She knew the area well, it was the neighborhood Glory lived in as well.

Buffy was shocked, and thought Spike can afford to live here.

8
The Satin Sheets of a Pool Shark

Riley rang the doorbell and Cordelia opened the door. She was wearing a really sexy red dress. Buffy thought blood red just like Spike likes.

Buffy walked into the apartment holding Riley's hand. She gasped as she noticed how beautifully decorated the apartment was.

"Hi all!" Cordy said. Hugging Riley and Buffy.

"Where's everyone?" Riley asked.

Spike and Xander are playing pool. Anya is drooling watching them. Willow and Tara are also downstairs." She said. "Riley, you should go and join the boys."

"Alright, that sounds like fun." He replied.

Buffy was looking at all of the luxury items around the front room. Exotic art, leather furniture, and polished hardwood floors with expensive oriental rugs caught her eye.

"Buffy you should put your purse and jacket in Spike's bedroom." Cordelia instructed. "I need to go and set the table."

Buffy walked down the long hall to Spike's bedroom. The hall featured a large mirror and Buffy thought about the old Spike and how he would have no use for that sort of thing.

She opened the door to his bedroom. A large round bed was the room's most prominent feature. The soft and silky bedding made it seem all the more sensual.

She thought to herself, "Spike likes nice linens, even in that dank crypt he had soft sheets. "

Buffy sat on the bed and imagined being cuddled up under the covers with Spike. His soft lips kissing her, his warm hands running up and down her thighs, his nude body embracing her: these thoughts made her giddy with excitement. "If only..."

Buffy went to see join the rest of the gang. Spike, Xander, and Riley were playing pool in a large recreation room with a giant screen television.

"Lucky shot, Xander." Spike exclaimed.

"No it's skill--I got skills." Xander bragged.

"He's a regular pool shark." Riley remarked.

"You mean the plastic inflatable kind you use in swimming pools?" Spike teased as he shot the 6 ball in the corner pocket.

Cordelia, Willow, Tara, and Anya were sitting on a near by couch. Buffy sat next to the rest of the girls, but her eyes were glued to Spike.

Anya said, "We are lucky girls, because we have sexy boyfriends." She looked at Willow and Tara, "... And girlfriends."

"You know Spike's sexy, not my first choice on the surface, but once you look deeper, he is so good, ya know--almost too perfect, but I love him so much." Cordelia said. "Plus all the money, I go shopping everyday."

"You're a lucky girl." Buffy said blissfully with a tinge of jealousy. The perfect man and an endless supply of new shoes.

"When are we gonna eat? Xander asked. I'm famished.

"Xander, nothing like being a pig demon or something." Buffy commented.

"Well, the boy needs his strength, for sex and stuff." Anya defended her man. "Giving me much in the way of pleasurable orgas--"

Spike interrupted."Cordelia, do you think we are ready to serve our guests, luv?"

"O.k. honey." The walked out of the room holding hands.

Buffy's eyes were glued on Spike's hot, tight little ass, that was normally covered by that obnoxiously sexy black leather duster.

He turned around and said, "Buffy take over my game, you are a goddess with pointy wooden objects." And smiled with out the normal perversion attached to it.

Buffy took over the game at her watcher's command.

9
The Dinner Party

The group was seated around a large table. The food tempted all five senses. The various dishes of Italian food, smelled and tasted better than any restaurant Buffy had ever visited. They used fine dishes and gold spoons and forks.

"Spike learned how to cook from an authentic Italian Chef." Cordy bragged.

"Well, I was editing his book, so the bloke gave me personal lessons." Spike added. "It is nothing really."

"Very good," Willow said as she twirled the pasta into her mouth. "When I cook, there is usually some kind of magic involved."

Tara shot her girlfriend a disapproving look.

Xander said.

Riley said, "You're such a good cook, maybe you should give Buffy some lessons."

"You don't like my famously homemade call to the pizza place?" Buffy laughed. "It is my version of Italian food."

"Enough with the food already." Spike commanded in a seriously muted big bad way. "The real reason I brought us here together is I have an important announcement to make."

The table sat with bated breath, until Cordelia spoke up, "can I tell em' honey?"

"Sure, princess."

"Spike and I are getting married." Cordelia exclaimed. "Isn't it exciting?"

Buffy remembered when she spoke those words under the engagement spell. She was insanely jealous and fainted. Buffy's chair tipped back and she hit her head on the hardwood floor.

Spike was the first one to rush to her aid. The rest of the gang followed. "Willow, get some cold towels." Spike commanded.

Cordelia, Tara, Xander, Anya backed up and got out of the way, they knew she was in the caring hands of Spike and Riley.

Anya said. "I thought people only fainted like that in the movies, I guess she's really emotional or something."

Spike lifted up her head. "Thank God, she's not bleeding."

Riley tried to wake Buffy by stroking her cheek and speaking softly to her. "Buffy wake up. Can you hear me?"

"Yea." She barely breathed out.

Spike swooped her up and carried her to his bedroom. "She'll be more comfortable in my bed."

Riley said, "Make sure she's alert so she doesn't get a concussion. Maybe I should stay with her."

"No, I'll talk to her." He assured the group. "The lot of you, eat have a good time, remember she's got Slayer healing powers. We'll be back in no time."

10
The Confession

Buffy laid in Spike's bed, under the covers. He was sitting on the edge of the bed stroking her hair.

Buffy was compelled to kiss him. Just like in her fantasy. Her tongue explored his mouth until he pulled away.

"Buffy, what was that?" Spike asked.

"A kiss, you silly." Buffy sweetly answered.

"Well, why did you kiss me like that?" He inquired.

"I love you, Spike. More than Angel, more than Riley and more than anyone." She confessed. "And the thought about you marrying Cordelia, doesn't set well with me. I just want to tell you that."

"Buffy, I had no idea. You felt that way. But Cordy and I have been dating for over two years, now and you never said a word about it."

"Spike, do you love Cordelia?" Buffy asked.

"Yea, I wouldn't get married, if I didn't love her." He replied.

"This may seem weird, but Spike I love you, I have feelings for you, it is like we are a match. Do you have feelings for me?"

"Of course I love you Buffy, you are my Slayer."

"I know, but romantically as a woman, do you find me attractive, would you ever date me?" She asked.

"If situations were different, if I wasn't your watcher, I may have fallen in love with you. I may not, I just don't feel that way about you. I am deeply in love with Cordelia and can't think about another woman, right now."

Buffy shed a slight tear. "But, your love for me use to fly in the way of logic, we were mortal enemies and you still risked a lot for my affections? I was too afraid to love you."

"What? Mortal enemies?" Spike was extraordinarily confused.

"I made a wish to a vengeance demon this morning." Buffy explained. "I didn't know she was a demon friend of Anya's"

"Buffy, so you are saying this is an alternate reality?"

"Yes, I made a wish about you, I wished that you were different." Buffy said.

"What was I like before?" Spike asked as he patronizingly pet her head, like she was delirious from the fall.

"Well you were a vampire, that had a twisted crush on me. You were sexy, bleach blond, black leather, punk rock vampire." She said, realizing the real Spike is who she wanted.

"O.k. then why did you make the wish, instead of just dusting me?" Spike played the devil's advocate.

"Well, I'm attracted to you--the vampire you, I always wanted you since that first night I saw you outside of the Bronze. I couldn't admit how I feel, so lusty, so wrong to be attracted to such evil."

"So, do I kill people often?" Spike gingerly asked.

"Not any more, you know the Initiative the military demon hunting unit Riley use to work for?"

"Of course, sweetheart." He said. "We defeated Adam with the SuperBuffy."

"Well, you were one of the neutered vamps." Buffy smiled. "But, you were more than that, you helped us, even before the chip."

"Well, do you want to go back to the real world?" Spike inquired as he stroked her cheek.

"Yes, but how can I," Buffy wondered, "wish us back?"

Spike called loudly, "Anya, Willow, Tara, please come upstairs." He turned to Buffy, "maybe they can help."

Within a few minutes, the former demon and the two witches sat it a circle surrounded with lit candles. The recited the chant to summon De Hoffren the leader of the vengeance demons.

He appeared in a flash. "Anyanka you want to get your powers back? And Miss Rosenberg, are you two starting a vengeance club?"

"No, nothing like that. This is about a wish Halfrek granted this morning." Anya said.

"You know better, Anyanka, no wished can be undone, this humanity thing has gone to your head."

Buffy stood up with a knife in her hand. "I guess we should slay him."

"Are you the Slayer?" DeHoffren asked.

"Yes, I am the chosen one, the Vampire Slayer." Buffy confidently stated.

"Are you the one who made the wish," DeHoffren scolded, "cause really as the Slayer you should know better."

"Yes, I wished us in to this reality." Buffy said.

"And you want to go back?" He questioned.

"Yes, more than anything, I want the old Spike back."

DeHoffren said, "Ok as the Slayer, hunter of demons, we will give you one chance, one wish revoked, in exchange, you will not kill any vengeance demons."

Buffy thought for a moment, "O.k. I will not kill any of your kind, unless Anya pisses me off."

"Done!" He said.

Buffy was instantly transported to the coffee shop sitting with Halfrek. She ran out with her coffee without saying a word.

She ran to Spike's crypt as fast as she could. She flew through the cemetery not stopping even to take a breath. Buffy burst through the door in a panic.

"Spike are you here?" Buffy said as she looked around the crypt.

He climbed up the ladder, since her heard the intruder in his home. "Who's here?"

"It's me Spike, it's Buffy." She announced.

He spotted her. "I though you wanted me out of life."
