The vampire holy grail, a piece of jewelry believed to make a vampire wearing it virtually invulnerable (unstakeable, not killed by sunlight). In "The Harsh Light of Day," Spike comes to Sunnydale to find it, only to have it taken away by Buffy, who sends it to Los Angeles (transported by Oz) for safekeeping in Angel's hands ("In the Dark").
