Buffy Scholar/Critic

 

Edwina Bartlem is a PhD candidate in the Cinema Studies Program (School of Fine Arts (Art History & Cinema Studies)) at the University of Melbourne, Australia. Her honours dissertation topic was: Lesbians as 'dangerous individuals' in mainstream film and media texts. Her current area of research is concerned with human-machine interfaces in contemporary digital and hybrid media art. Edwina also tutors in the Cinema Studies program at the University of Melbourne and has over fifteen years experience as an arts curator and writer.
