Buffy Scholar/Critic

Kristina Birchmore (University of South Australia) is currently a Research Assistant in the Research and Education Unit on Gendered Violence at the University of South Australia (Magill Campus). She has recently completed her Bachelor of Social Work Degree with Honours. Kristina confesses that her viewing of Buffy has not yet developed into an obsession but rather she finds that her weekly viewing provides an energising space that is removed from the reality of women’s experiences of gendered violence that she encounters through her work.
